They also knew what they were doing, like they really had their act together. I highly recommend buying a car from here if you're in the market.

Great peeps over at Toyota of Fox Lake. They got staff that are top-notch. Everyone I met was nice and welcoming. Can't picture getting a car from anywhere else! The sales head honcho, ***, is a fantastic person! He gave me loads of help and made my day a whole lot better.

This biz sux. Would NOT let me buy car unless I got warranty 2day 2/9/22 total waste of time. ***(Manager) said no car w/o $4999 warranty (then it's $2499). I said just gimme the car, but nope they said no can do. Sketchy AF, lots of bad reviews sayin' same thing. Don't waste ur money on scam warranty u don't need. Buy somewhere else.

They came back w/ a price dat was hella more than da ad. It was 2 services dat were not required. We asked y it was more & they said it was mand8try. Da manager was mean 2 us afta dat. We had a lot of $$ & good credit, but we left feelin disrespected. I hav a toyota & dis makes me sad. Don't go here yo.

I fought it should be coverd by warranty, but they did not evun take off the plastic parts on the bottom of the car to look. They said they could not find the leak, but wen we showed them, they said they couldnt tell whare it was coming from, so they cleaned it off. Later, they said they had put dye in the engine to finde the leak but they didn't even check the oil and the leak was really in the transmission. Then they billed me for the dye they did not use. After taking it to another dealership they found the leak fast and said I was charged for somthing they didnt even put in my car.

Let me tell you about my experience at Toyota of Fox Lake. First, I was really disappointed with ***. She acted like she was a salesperson, but wasn't upfront with me. It's not cool to lie to customers. Also, I didn't see anything on their website about the $2500 fee they added to my loan because I didn't trade in my car. That's not fair at all. Lastly, they said they would price match but didn't come through. It's not a good way to treat people, especially when they're spending so much money on a car. We were ready to buy a car that was over $50k, but we won't be buying it from this dealership or recommending it to anyone else. I really hope they learn to be honest with their customers and treat them better. If they do that, they'll get more respect and business. They need to get rid of hidden fees and be clear when they communicate with customers. That's what makes salespeople look bad. We won't be coming back. Be careful if you decide to go there.

I came in for a free oil change and the assistant manager went over the report when done. They noted a cabin air filter replacement for $60, which I had just changed. I discussed this with the manager, who was noncommittal. The technician mistook the engine air filter's dirtiness for the cabin's. I warned other customers about this mix-up. They suggested a full service due to mileage, but I disagreed. After raising the issue with the General Manager, he seemed more focused on my frustration than the mix-up. This exemplifies the poor reputation of car dealers and repair shops. The manager insisted on inspecting the filter for dirtiness. When I inquired about other checks and mentioned looking for a new vehicle, he advised me to look elsewhere. I intend to do just that and share my experience.

Got my last car here almost 10 yrs ago & serviced it a few times. Wanted a truck & thought to give these guys a 2nd chance. Visited on 12/26. Salesperson Jerry *** & Sales manager Michael *** showed me 2 certified used Tundras with 6&half ft beds but I wanted an 8ft one. Michael offered $31,300 on the red one to close the deal on 26th but I wanted time. Price on the red truck was $32,990 that day and Jerry said price goes down by $500 every couple of weeks if they don't sell which is false. Went back in Feb to buy the red one but found damage on the left side. They refused to fix it and the price offered was more than Dec with more damage. Second manager was rude and said "Well I'm not him, am I?" Sales manager called me later to argue and was condescending. Raising price from 1 visit to the next is deceptive. Don't go to them.

I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone at all. I bought a 2016 Jeep Wrangler from them in November and didn't have a great experience. The test drive went fine, and we haggled over the price until we agreed to a monthly payment that my wife could afford. When they tried to pressure me into buying an extended warranty, I said no, but the finance manager got nasty with me. Two weeks later, my wife started driving the Jeep to work on the highways, and she felt unsafe. When she went over bumps, the car would swerve into other lanes. It was scary! I had two mechanics look at it, and they said the passenger side front tie rod and all the control arms were bad and needed to be replaced. That cost me $2,200, and now it drives like new, thank goodness. I took all the paperwork to Toyota of Fox Lake and asked if they checked for safety before selling cars. They said yes, but if they did, they would have found the problem. I asked them to pay half of the repairs, but they said no. The service and sales managers didn't care at all and wouldn't take responsibility. Buyer beware!

I got a quote from Toyota of Fox Lake for 2021 Toyota Prius LE AWD, in Wind Chill Pearl color. I asked for a quote on 3/26 and they gave me an e-price of $24,483. But due to personal reasons, we didn't take it forward at that time. On 4/30, I asked for a quote again and got the same price for the same car. It was their stock # K1597. I had some questions which they answered for me. And on 4/30, I talked to them to confirm the price and they confirmed it to be $24,483. Then on 5/1 (Saturday), I called them in the morning to inform them that I'm coming to the dealership after driving for 2 hours. So, I asked them if they could give me a better price. But they told me that I have to come to the dealership to negotiate further. Yet the price of $24,483 was confirmed again in the morning of 5/1.
Finally, my nephew and I got to the dealership and we test drove the car. After we were ready to buy the car, the agent who was working with us said that he had to get the price for us. I told him the price of $24,483 that we got but he came back to us saying that our quote was from an old pricing system and they couldn't honor it. I told him that I got the same price just one day back and it was confirmed that same day morning. He went back and talked to his manager who then came and told us that it was their mistake and they couldn't sell the car for that price. This is not fair for customers. Even if it was a mistake on their part, the right thing to do would have been to honor the quote and sell the car for the promised price.
To me, these are very shady business practices. I drove for 2 hours and even confirmed everything in the morning yet they didn't honor their price. I'll never go back to this dealership as I can't trust anyone there. I don't usually write reviews but I thought I should share our experience so other customers are aware of what we went through. I have all the emails and communication records with me, and I'd advise against trusting Toyota of Fox Lake.

This Toyota dealership is a little sketchy. The prices on the paperwork don't match what they promised me they would be. The finance manager said the extended warranty wasn't going to cost me too much, but the paperwork showed a different story. I thought I could trust them, but it seems like they are trying to scam me. I signed paperwork that said the car would be one price, but it ended up costing more. I think they threw out the paperwork I signed and changed the warranty price without telling me. If they had told me the real price, I would have never bought it. Seems like they don't care about treating their customers fairly.

We got a new ride from Toyota of Fox Lake, and Rick *** said he'd get us the right financing deal. He even said he'd make it happen even if we drove off that night. But he lied just to make the sale. Later, when Kyle Richards was chatting with us, I sent him the right amount for the payoff on our previous ride from Kia Financial, but Toyota's finance folks goofed it up and sent $246.45 less. So I told Jim ***, the big boss, who gave me a call. He said they'd fix it. Kyle later followed up and said the same thing. But it's been over a week and we haven't gotten the check we were promised. Seems like Toyota of Elgin tried to send it straight to Kia, but they sent it back because of a problem with an R16 account being frozen. So my hubby checked in with Kyle on 09/11, but we haven't heard back from him or Jim ***. I've sent four emails with nada in reply. Now Kia's starting to hassle us about our late payment and Toyota's gotta fix this mess quick before we lose our good credit.

But days after parking the car, an acquaintance told me it had hail damage on the roof and rust on the driver's side. When I reported the problem, the dealer denied it despite knowing it, and wouldn't listen to me. When I tried to return the car, they told me to take up the matter with car fax, as if car fax sold me the automobile. I felt cheated, and I accused them of fraud. When I talked about seeking an attorney and informing the media, they told me to leave.
