Nothing, great website
Typical Dutch Stuff is the best website I have ever ordered anything from. The reviews from the past are bad (because there was a different owner) and I was very skeptical and was nervous on ordering from them to the USA. However, after multiple emails with Maarten (the new owner) I found out that they surpassed my idea of what customer service is. He was very patient with me and my skepticism and assured me that the order would arrive and provided me with a tracking number. Don't listen to any of the other reviews because I know this time of year is hectic with ordering online and he was very quick and very nice so GIVE THEM A TRY! Thanks so much
Scam Website!
After reading all the other negative reviews about typicaldutchstuff.com, I must emphasize that you all read them. My experience with this website has been the worst! I ordered a shipment back in November of 2013, and it never came! After a month went by, I inquired about it. Only an auto reply stating they would get back to me within 5 days. 5 days go by, no reply, so I send another and another. Months go by and I dont receive a reply. Each email with another auto reply, now with the auto reply's changing. Some saying they are on holiday, others saying down for maintenance or closed for the month? So at this point, I am realizing what a scam this website is. After months go by and with persistence I believe the owner finally realized I wasnt just going to give up which I think she hopes most of her customers will do. Well I never gave up and after 6 MONTHS of arguing and demanding a refund, Wendy (the owner) finally refunded my order. DO NOT use this website. I come from a large Dutch family living both in the US and the NL. I am now making it point to spread the word to as many people as I can to avoid this website! Hope this review was useful.
After 6 months of fighting with this website, they sent me a refund. However, the refund was just pending in my bank account... After writing some negative reviews, Wendy (the Crook of an owner) said she sent me a Fed Ex shipment 'free of charge" just for her to go ahead and retract that pending refund in my bank account. This website is a scam! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. 6 months and I am still fighting with them! I have contacted the Dutch police as well as numerous internet fraud services.
I doubt you will receive. I am very doubtful they even ship items at all. They don't provide any tracking numbers even when you ask for one. If you do launch a case in Dutch court, please let me know if I can assist. I have every email saved. Even if you cannot expose this company as a fraud, we can at least spread the word to as many people as we can to not use them.

I ordered five cans of nutrilon standard 3 milk powder on Dec 13, 2010.
My order number is 2167 and paid €102.05 successfully then.
But till today, I have not receive my goods. I send several emails to inquire about the delay. Now Typicaldutchstuff who received my money have no reply with my email.
I ordered food on the 17th of januari and i still did not receive my food or the promised money back. They promised me a refund three times now and i still did not receive anything. I would not recommend buying anything from this company they do NOT keep their promises or send the stuff you PAYED for.
This is a very incompetent company that will ignore your emails and post lies on this board. DO NOT GET SCAMMED!
This is a very incompetent company. Cheap products, cheap package, and cheap owners. Listen to all the reviews and just avoid. I know you can't get some of this stuff outside of Holland, but odds are that you are just throwing your money away. They post responses that are lies.

My Order #7799, I paid on 8th Apr 2013, and it only updates one time on 15th Apr, shows that' processing' and until now, never has any updates on this! It's already 2 months and my baby powders are out of stocks, and it still no any words from www.typicaldutchstuff.com, even i wrote a lot of emails to them! Can you just give me a word? If send out my orders, please give the delivery number. If not, please give back my money! i think am not the first case of this, why this website can be still online?

not ship out the products, no feedback for 2 months
I placed an order on typicaldutchstuff on 7 Feb this year, purchasing the powdered milk, nutrilon. The order # is 7515. Till now the status of this order is "processing". It's almost 2 months since I droped the order at the first place. No one initiavely gave me any update re this order process. According to their policy on the website, the products should be shipped out in 7 working days at least. And customer would receive an email for shipment confirmation. However, I never received such an email. I ever left several messages on their support ticket systems, enquiring the products and shipment status, but got little reply. The last update from them is on 28 Feb, saying that my order was processing.
To be honest, I did see some complaints or bad messages on internet, saying this company is such a fraud, never receiving products from it. I used to think maybe it probabaly is some mis-communications between the company and customers. But now when I got through all of these, I had to say their customer service is totally bad and it should be a fraud. Could someone check on this issue to prove I am wrong?

No Status on Delivery or Email Response
Placed an order on last week, and after paying, it said it should take about 2-7 days to process and ship out the goods depending on whether they had all the items in stock (should they not let you know if something is out of stock? that is common sense, in my opinion, for good customer service). The only communication I have received from them after TWO DAYS was that it is now processing. It takes two days to process an order?!?! This package was intended for a gift. I have emailed them twice already and always the automated response. If you know your customer/client is trying to contact you, you would think that you would make an effort to address their concerns. I have even tried to call their "number" which they prefer you not to call but if you are so 'inclined', please call this number that is ALWAYS BUSY. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND WILL LET PEOPLE KNOW HOW AWFUL THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AND NEVER TO PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

I have the same type of experience with them: a quite extensive order came incomplete and with one pair of the dutch clog slippers in the wrong size. Several other items were also wrong, but those were less important. The "customer service" was friendly enough. Of course they were going to send the right stuff right away. Nothing arrived, but according to them it was the US customs' fault. They could not give a tracking number because that was not given for orders under $100? After I spent 2010 trying to get the right stuff I gave up.
I'll never order with typical Dutch again. And I can assure you, having lived 44 years in the Netherlands, there is nothing typical Dutch in this company.
No delivery
Never received the goods I've ordered July 2012. They never reply on mail requests...I had to post a complaint on their Facebook profile to receive a (very unfriendly) reply. They told me, it's my fault that the goods never arrive, since I've chosen the "cheap delivery" via TNT. I can't recommend to buy at Typical Dutch Stuff - no goods and my money is lost.

No goods recieved, no replies to emails
I ordered a large order of coffee pods suitable for the senseo coffee machine,
I made this order on the 14th of June 2012, and have not received any of my goods. I paid with a credit card, so the company already has my money.
My order number is 5698, with a customer reference number of 7556.
I have sent over 6 emails asking what has happened with my order, and even going so far as to asking to cancel my order and get my money refunded back to me. But i have there has been no replies, except for the automated email, saying that they have received mine, and will answer within 3 working days.Suffice to say that 3 working days have long since past with no reply.
I am disgusted with the after purchase customer service, and it annoys me that they only have the email to contact.
If nothing happens, or i have not received a reply, i will have to go through my credit card company and accuse Typical Dutch Stuff or fraud, To which they will be investigated.
I have one warning for you.. DON'T BUY OR ORDER ANYTHING FROM TYPICAL DUTCH STUFF!
There are plenty of other online dutch stores to go through which are cheaper, faster, and where you actually receive the goods you have ordered and paid for.

I have ordered to value of 50 euro at typicaldutchstuff on 29 januari 2014. When I did the order I got an email that my order was is processing. But after a while I understood that I would not recieve the order. I tried multiple times to have contact with them but with the email they do not reply. Recently I came to know their phone number: 06 [protected], but that number is not in use. I WARN EVERYONE TO NOT BUY FROM TYPICALDUTCHSUFF. I myself am dutch as well and I live in Amsterdam. I CAN TELL TYPICALDUTCHSTUFF IS A FRAUD. THEY DO NOT REPLY. They are settled in Boxtel, that is a region in 'Noord Brabant' and on the telephone directory they give you a number. That number is not in use.
Also I recently checked multiple revieuws about typicaldutchstuff. THEY DO REPLY ON EMIALS BUT THEY KEEP SAYING IT IS DUE TO THE SHIPPING METHOD THAT YOU DONT RECIEVE YOUR ORDER, now they blame us for not picking the right shipping method. Once again I'm Dutch myself and there has never been any problem with any shipping method as far as I'm concerned. And now typicaldutchsstuff says it is because of the shipping method. They blame you and then leave you.
On the first place they did not even make it clear that 'the right shipping method' was this much important. You just had the choice which shipping method and afterwards they blame you for not reading the terms and uses. Are you kidding me, WHO THE F*** READS TERMS AND USES ANYWAY? Well I did before I placed an order and I probably over read the IMPOTANCE of this shipping method it was not clear to me. And now they blame me for not reading well?

Chlov11, Did you ever receive your order? I have also ordered a large package of senseo pods and after nearly 3 months I have not received anything. I emailed them with my account details/order number and was told they would look into it. That was a month ago, every other email I have sent them has been ignored. I'm afraid I've been scammed, and its not like I was getting a bargain that was too good to be true! ANY ONE THINKING OF BUYING THROUGH TYPICAL DUTCH STUFF- DON'T!

Incomplete order and poor shipping
I took a chance and ordered even though this company has a poor reputation. For starters, they ship from the Netherlands to the U.S. in cheap used boxes. You should not use used boxes for shipping let alone international shipping. The box was half open and the contents were damaged. Now to the main issue, the main reason that I ordered was to get a Chocomel cup. It was gift for a friend, and she has looked everywhere for one including Holland. I was assured that one would be included with my order of six liters of Chocomel. I didn't receive the cup, and Typical Dutch Stuff responded by saying they would give me 3 euros off my next order. I explained to them that this was unacceptable since I already paid $100 for this cup and some Chocomel. I have not received nor do I expect another response. Avoid this company if you live in the U.S.
This response was a lie. They ignored my email and hoped that I didn't know how to use the Internet. If you see this many complaints on here, just imagine how many people this company screws over. AVOID THESE LIARS!
This response is an out right lie. I run a company, and I ship all the time. New boxes are very important. Cardboard is recyclable. You're just cheap and use free boxes. They never offered to send the cup. I've read their responses to all the complaints and all are lies! Liars! Dishonest company! Avoid at all costs!

Placed an order back in may, contacted wendy in June to ask if it had been shipped, which she responded to and said it had been shipped. 4 months later i still have no goods. Sent about 6 emails enquiring about it but now get ignored. There cant be a customs problem its just slippers.

I have ordered a pair of slippers as a birthday present and after over 6 weeks they have not arrived. Possibly even more frustrating is the website advises you to email any correspondence (I'm happy to call them but there's no phone number given) and those emails go unanswered. The website didn't have Paypal so it looks like my money has just gone down the drain. Not impressed.

No Goods, No customer service
Further to my complaint about ordering 2 pairs of slippers back in May 2011. I posted a complain on here in September which i finally got a response from Wendy, advising me to email them and they would refund my money. To this day i have not had a refund appear in my account and once again not responding to emails.
I HIGHLY recommened NEVER using this company, customer service is non existant. They aren't worth the trouble.
For all you know they never ship the goods and then keep your money because they take no liability for "lost post". Sorry but in this day and age this excuse is NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

I am Junxia from China. I ordered (Order #2465 )and paid for €77.96 of milk powder in Typicaldutchstuff on Mar.1th. Till now it's been more than four months and I cannot get my goods. On Mar.7th they feedback me it's been shipped but till now I haven't got the tracking number after dozens of mails.
Now I cannot contact them from Typicaldutchstuff through [protected]@. No email replies, no phone call answered.
I wonder if they are available, and I want to know whether I can receive my goods.

Cheat money through the Typical dutch stuff
I ordered 4 * Friso Standard 3 from the website: https://www.typicaldutchstuff.com/ on March 1st, and till now, I have not received my goods. IN this period, I sent many mails to them, and only have received one reply for the first email, for my first mail is to ask why not ship for 10 days after, pls see their reply mail by the attached file.
