Fraudulent Sellers and Lack of Consumer Protection on Mercado Libre
The sellers on Mercado Libre are frauds, man. I bought this thing from one of 'em and did an online payment transfer. Then I gave the seller the receipt for the transfer, but he kept saying I didn't pay. I even got my bank peeps to talk to his bank peeps, and they said the payment went through to the seller's account. But still, no help, bro. I complained to Mercado Libre, but those guys are useless, man. They just send you emails, but they don't actually help. There ain't no consumer protection on this site, I'm tellin' ya. Stay away from it, man. There are way better options out there. Don't get scammed and waste your cash here, dude.
Mercado Libre MX: A Marketplace Failing to Protect Copyright and Author Rights
Mercado Libre MX is a marketplace that has been criticized for its lack of respect for copyright laws and the rights of authors. It seems that anyone can easily steal digital products from other websites and sell them on Mercado Libre without any consequences. The platform does not bother to verify the authenticity or legality of the products being sold, which is a major concern for genuine creators and copyright holders.
One of the most frustrating aspects of Mercado Libre is its limited visibility on Google for certain countries. This means that even if the original authors of the products are searching for their own creations, they may never come across them on Mercado Libre. This restriction severely hampers the ability of real authors to find and protect their own work.
To illustrate the extent of this problem, a quick search on Mercado Libre reveals a staggering number of stolen products. For example, there are 225 scripts from CodeCanyon and 151 themes from ThemeForest available for sale on the platform. It is disheartening to see such a large number of copyrighted products being sold without any verification or permission from the original creators.
In conclusion, Mercado Libre's lack of concern for copyright infringement and its failure to verify sellers' permissions is deeply disappointing. This marketplace should take more responsibility in protecting the rights of authors and ensuring that only legitimate products are being sold. Shame on Mercado Libre for allowing such practices to continue unchecked.
Mercado Libre MX: A Bizarre and Frustrating Account Setup Experience
I've been tryin' to set up an account on Mercado Libre MX for a whole day, man. It's freakin' bizarre, I tell ya. So, I'm a Canadian dude, right? And I thought I could use my Permanente Visa to get things rollin'. But nope, the site won't let ya remove the front page and start over. How dumb is that? I had to create a whole new email address and then use my Passport. Finally, that worked. But then they want a picture of me from the computer screen. And get this, I had to try it like 10 freakin' times! They kept givin' me this "Try Again" message 'cause of too much light or some other random reason. Each try took like 10 to 15 seconds, man. I had no clue what the heck was goin' on. I mean, I've taken over 100,000 photos in my life, and I've never encountered somethin' like this before. It's absolutely insane, dude.
And guess what? It never freakin' worked! So, I thought I'd check out some "reviews" to see if anyone else had this problem. And you know what? I'm done with Mercado Libre, man. I was plannin' on buyin' a 5TB external hard drive, but forget it. This site is all messed up, big time. It seriously needs some major help, dude. Oh, and by the way, there didn't seem to be any way to contact Mercado Libre to ask 'em questions. How lame is that?
Mercado Libre MX: A Scam-Filled Nightmare, Stay Away and Stick with Trustworthy Companies
Mercado Libre MX is a total scam, man. Stay away from them, seriously. So, I bought this thing, right? It cost me like 900 reias, and guess what? It never showed up! Can you believe that? I tried to cancel the order, but the vendor didn't even bother to respond, bro! And you know what's messed up? Mercado Libre doesn't give a damn about it. They don't help you at all, even though they let these scammers sell their stuff on their site. It's like they're in on it, you know what I mean?
I swear, I'm never using Mercado Libre again. They're just as guilty as the scammers, man. I won't make the mistake of trusting them ever again. I mean, I've been buying stuff from Amazon for years, and I've never had this kind of problem. From now on, I'm sticking with Amazon or other companies that actually care about their customers.
And get this, I'm in Brazil, where Mercado Libre has a big operation. Can you believe they can't even deliver a product in their own backyard? And to top it off, they won't even give me my money back. It's a total rip-off, dude.
So, yeah, take my advice and steer clear of Mercado Libre MX. They're shady as hell, and you don't want to get caught up in their criminal conduct. Stick with companies that actually deliver and take care of their customers, like Amazon. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
Mixed Experiences with Mercado Libre MX: Delays, Cancellations, and Lack of Vendor Ratings
I've had two good experiences and one nightmare with Mercado Libre MX. Even in the good experiences, there are some weird quirks, like receiving the shipment and then getting an email a week later saying it had been delayed but was in transit. It's a bit confusing, to be honest.
Now, let me tell you about the bad experience I had. The vendor actually emailed me and said that they no longer had the product I ordered. Can you believe that? I was pretty frustrated, so I asked them to cancel the order and requested a refund. But guess what? The vendor demanded that I specify in writing the reasons why I wanted to cancel the order. Seriously, who does that? Anyway, I did as they asked and explained my reasons. And you know what they said? They told me that I had to contact another party and repeat the whole request. Can you imagine the hassle?
The problem is, they didn't provide me with any contact information for this mysterious third party. So, I was left going in circles for about a week, trying to figure out how to get my money back. And guess what? I still haven't received the credit or refund. It's incredibly frustrating, to say the least.
What's even more disappointing is that I couldn't find any way on the website to rate the vendor or read about others' experiences. It's like flying blind when you place an order. I mean, come on, Mercado Libre MX, give us customers a chance to share our thoughts and warn others about potential issues.
Overall, my experiences with Mercado Libre MX have been a mixed bag. There are some strange things happening, and the customer support could definitely use some improvement. I hope they take these issues seriously and make necessary changes to provide a better shopping experience for everyone.
Warning: Inconsistent and Unreliable - Mercado Libre MX Review
I wouldn't recommend purchasing any electronics or items over $100 on Mercado Libre MX. This website is really inconsistent with everything, you know? So, I decided to buy a Samsung tablet for my girlfriend's mother as a birthday gift. But guess what? The first seller I dealt with never bothered to answer me once he got my money. Luckily, I had Mercado Pay Protection, which saved my bacon and got me my money back. But here's the kicker, Mercado Libre didn't do anything to punish this seller, and he's still selling his stuff on their website! Can you believe it?
And it didn't end there, my friend. The same thing happened with another seller. It took him a whopping 6 days to give me my money back. Can you imagine the frustration? To make matters worse, Mercado Libre holds onto the money the seller gives you back on their website. They kinda trap it there, you know? They want you to either buy more products from them or transfer it to a Mexican bank. But here's the thing, I'm an American and I used my American bank card to buy the tablet. And guess what? There's no option to transfer the money back to my own account. Can you believe the audacity?
Now, I did buy some other stuff before this tablet fiasco, but nothing too expensive. And to be fair, those items arrived on time. But here's the real kicker, my friend. There's no customer service line available to call if you have a problem. Can you believe that? No one to talk to, no one to vent your frustrations to. It's like they don't even care about their customers.
So, let me give you some advice, my friend. DON'T TRUST this website, okay? Don't buy anything unless you have MERCADO PROTECTION. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
POBRES MEDIOCRES.
Tips to Avoid Scams on MercadoLibre: Trust Your Instincts, Use MercadoPago, Check User Reputation
Well, it's hard to say but, don't trust anyone there, but trust your instincts to avoid getting scammed. Now, this site tries to avoid having a bad reputation as a middleman, so often you'll get your money back using MercadoPago. Thank goodness I haven't been scammed, but maybe it's because I buy things that aren't "too good to be true deals" like recent iPhones or computers at 50% off or less. I would like to advise you to always have your correct address, use MercadoPago, don't buy documents or services to obtain documents, prefer "MercadoEnvios" with DHL or FedEx, and check the user's reputation or if it's a new user, see if it's their first or second sale. Then use MercadoPago with MercadoEnvios, and make an effort to communicate with them to explain how this method works for the benefit of both parties. If the user refuses, then agree to cancel the transaction. DO NOT MAKE DEPOSITS TO NEW INEXPERIENCED USERS, unless you think it's worth giving it a try. Personally, I tried that when buying an Nvidia GTX650ti and I received it pretty quickly. I would buy again, as it was a safe deal, a normal item, a new user wanting to get rid of it, and the price was fair for the time.
In the end, you always have the final say as the end user, just like I do with my own experiences. I hope this review helps!
Buyer Beware: My Nightmare Experience with Mercado Libre - A Den of Thieves
I'm writing this review 'cause it's about time someone talks about this "den of thieves". I've been a "Power Seller" for years and let me tell you, it's been a nightmare from the get-go. First off, as a seller, you gotta cough up some serious dough just to post your stuff on this site. And don't even get me started on the commissions they charge you for every sale. It's a real rip-off.
But that's not the worst part. Oh no, not by a long shot. See, Mercado Libre (ML) loves to suspend your listings without any warning. They don't even bother telling you if you violated their precious Terms of Use. And guess what? You still gotta pay for those suspended listings, even if they were only up for a few measly hours. Can you believe that?
And if you dare to complain, well, good luck with that. ML will just delete your active postings and block your access to the site. They don't wanna hear it. They don't care. It's like talking to a brick wall.
But wait, there's more! Let's talk about fraudulent payments. Yeah, it's happened to me a couple of times. When a buyer pulls a fast one and pays you with fake money, you'd think ML would have your back, right? Wrong! They'll deny any responsibility faster than you can say "scam". They claim to be a "safe marketplace," but it's all a bunch of baloney.
So here's my warning to all you buyers and sellers out there: steer clear of this shady site. You're just asking for trouble if you go anywhere near it. You'll end up losing your hard-earned cash and good luck trying to get it back. ML washes their hands of the whole thing, saying they're "not part of the transaction." They'll just give you the number to the Mexican cyber police and call it a day. Yeah, like that's gonna help.
So, once again, I say to you: BUYER BEWARE! Don't say I didn't warn you.

Defective Carburator with a 30 day Warranty
I bought a carburetor from CLAUDIA00024 at Mercado Libre, Mexico, with a 30-day warranty.
Bought it on the 17th of October, and waited until the 24th for a response from Mercado Libre, stating I modified the carburetor. The carburetor has a defect as the butterfly moves up and down which causes fluctuating idle.
No exchange or resolution per Mercado Libre! lose of $480 Pesos.
In conclusion, never buy auto parts from the aforementioned or Mercado Libre!
Desired outcome: Refund of monies or at least a replacement!
Nightmare Experience with Mercado Libre MX: Avoid at All Costs!
It's been a real pain dealing with Mercado Libre MX. From placing the order to receiving the delivery, it's been nothing but a headache. If you're lucky enough to actually receive your package after weeks and weeks of waiting, it's still a major headache. They use the worst shipping companies, like Fedex and Estafeta. I wouldn't be surprised if those guys struggle with tying their shoelaces, let alone delivering packages on time. It's a complete mess, absolutely disgusting, and just a huge pain in the you-know-where. I strongly advise you to stay away.
Nightmare Experience with Mercado Libre MX: Canceled Order, Unchangeable Delivery Address, No Refund
So, I was checking out this website called Mercado Libre MX, you know, mercadolibre.com.mx. And let me tell you, it's been quite a ride. I placed an order, right? And guess what? The website had the audacity to tell me that my order got canceled. Can you believe that? But here's the thing, they keep insisting that it's not canceled and that my precious product is just chillin' in some warehouse in Miami. Like, seriously?
Now, here's where it gets tricky. I'm in a whole different country, man, with a brand spankin' new job and all. And guess what? I can't change the delivery address! Can you believe the nerve? So, here I am, stuck in a pickle, unable to get my hands on my much-awaited delivery. And you know what's even worse? They won't even give me a refund! Can you believe the audacity? They're all like, "No delivery attempt, no refund." It's like a never-ending loop, man. They know they got me trapped.
Let me tell you, my friend, steer clear of this company. Don't even think about doing business with them. I'm giving you a fair warning here. Save yourself the trouble and find another place to shop. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

Inconsistent Delivery Times and Excuses: My Disappointing Experience with Mercado Libre
I gotta say, I'm pretty bummed out with Mercado Libre. They're just all over the place, man. Sometimes I order something and it shows up at my doorstep in just two days, but other times I gotta wait a whole six to ten days. Like, what gives? They keep giving me all these different excuses, saying it's the delivery service's fault. Some of these guys work on weekends, while others don't. I mean, seriously? Why would you even bother doing business with those who don't work on weekends? It's just plain silly.
Don't get me wrong, I really wanna support local businesses here in Mexico, but let's be real, Amazon totally kicks their butt.
Disappointing Experience with Mercado Libre MX: Money Kept, No Refund, Total Headache
Man, let me tell you about my experience with Mercado Libre MX. So, I had this order that got canceled, right? And guess what? They went ahead and kept my money! Can you believe that? They were all quick to snatch it from my account, but when it came to giving it back, oh no, suddenly it's not possible because it's not NATIONAL. Like, what the heck? They had no problem taking my money out, but now they can't put it back in? It's a total head-scratcher, man.
Now I'm stuck trying to figure out what to do with this money. I gotta find someone in Mexico who I can trust enough to transfer it to their account before it disappears into thin air. Like, seriously, how does any of this make sense? It's just a big ol' mess, my friend.
Let me tell ya, this website is a real piece of work. I hope one day it gets canceled itself, you know? It's just not worth the hassle and frustration.
Beware of Mercadolibre: A Disastrous Experience with No Customer Support
I gotta tell ya, folks, steer clear of Mercadolibre if ya know what's good for ya. So, get this, I decided to order some coffee from their site, right? I forked over my hard-earned cash for not one, not two, but three packages of that sweet, sweet java. But guess what? I ain't received a darn thing from 'em. Nada. Zilch.
Now, I ain't one to give up easily, so I tried reachin' out to Mercadolibre. But lemme tell ya, there ain't no email address to be found. And don't even get me started on their phone line. Ain't nobody pickin' up on the other end. Can ya believe it?
So, I figured I'd give 'em a piece of my mind by complainin' a couple of times to the email address they provided for payment instructions. But ya know what happened? They stopped sendin' me those pesky advertisements. Can't say I'm too broken up about that, but it sure ain't solvin' my problem.
Honestly, folks, I'm at a loss here. I don't know what to do next. But let me make one thing crystal clear: I DO NOT, and I repeat, DO NOT recommend usin' this site. Save yourself the headache and find yourself a more reliable place to get your goods. Trust me on this one.
Disappointing Experience with Mercado Libre MX: False Guarantees, No Help, and Endless Hassles
So, I was lookin' to buy me a pick up truck, ya know? I saw all them fancy guarantees and stuff, and I thought, "Hey, this is gonna be great!" But man, oh man, was I wrong. Them guarantees turned out to be nothin' but a bunch of baloney. I ended up losin' all the money I used to secure that truck. Ain't that a kick in the teeth?
And let me tell ya, it ain't like they helped me out with the cost of the truck either. Nope, not one bit. So, there I was, feelin' like a fool with an empty wallet.
But that ain't even the worst part, my friend. When I tried to buy some other stuff from 'em, stuff that I had bought before mind you, they made me jump through so many hoops, I just couldn't take it no more. I had to cancel my order 'cause it was just too much hassle.
And don't even get me started on the phone call I had with 'em. I swear, I was on that dang phone for at least two hours, goin' round and round in circles. It was pure ridiculousness, I tell ya.
So yeah, that's my experience with Mercado Libre MX. It ain't been a pleasant one, that's for sure. I reckon I won't be messin' with 'em again anytime soon.
Mercado Libre MX: A Smooth Experience for Buyers, but Sellers Beware
I've been usin this site as a buyer since 2001 and I've never had a bad experience, but mostly cuz I only buy from sellers with a good reputation. Their shippin deals are better now that they've partnered with DHL. Judgin by the reviews here, I probably wouldn't use it as a seller. They're an international company that should provide great service for both buyers and sellers.
I'm givin it 3 stars. I'm not sure why the main site displays only 1 star.
I gotta say, I've been usin Mercado Libre MX for a long time now, and it's been pretty smooth sailin for me as a buyer. I mean, I've been scorin some sweet deals on this site since way back in 2001, and I gotta admit, I've never had a bad experience. But hey, that's probably cuz I'm a smart shopper and I only buy stuff from sellers who got a good rep. Ya know, reputation is key when it comes to online shoppin.
One thing I gotta give props to Mercado Libre MX for is their shippin deals. They recently teamed up with DHL, and lemme tell ya, it's made a big difference. Now I can get my packages delivered faster and with less hassle. I mean, who doesn't love that? It's like they're really tryin to step up their game and provide better service to us buyers. And I appreciate that, I really do.
But here's the thing, when I was checkin out the reviews on this site, I noticed somethin fishy. It seems like a lot of folks ain't too happy with Mercado Libre MX when it comes to sellin stuff. I mean, I get it, sellin can be a tough gig, but if you're runnin an international company like this, you gotta make sure you're takin care of both buyers and sellers. It's like a two-way street, ya know?
So, overall, I'm givin Mercado Libre MX a solid 3 stars. It's been good to me as a buyer, but I can see why some folks might not be too thrilled. And hey, I gotta wonder why the main site only shows 1 star. Maybe they need to work on their ratin system or somethin. But hey, that's just my two cents.
Mercado Libre MX: A Solid Experience for Buyers, But Seller Services Need Improvement
So, I've been usin Mercado Libre MX for a long time now, and let me tell ya, it's been a pretty good experience overall. I've been buyin stuff from this site since 2001, and I gotta say, I've never had any major issues. Now, I gotta admit, I'm a bit picky when it comes to choosin sellers. I always make sure they got a good reputation before I make a purchase. But hey, that's just common sense, right?
One thing I gotta mention is that their shippin deals have gotten a lot better recently. They've partnered up with DHL, and let me tell ya, it's made a big difference. Now I can get my packages delivered faster and more reliably. Ain't that somethin?
But here's the thing, when I was browsin through the reviews on this site, I noticed that a lot of folks ain't too happy with Mercado Libre MX when it comes to sellin stuff. Now, I can't say for sure since I've never been a seller myself, but it seems like there might be some issues there. Maybe they need to work on improvin their seller services, ya know?
Now, overall, I think Mercado Libre MX is a pretty solid international company. They should be providin top-notch service for both buyers and sellers. That's just how it should be, right? So, I'm givin it 3 stars. But here's the thing, I'm a bit confused. When I checked out the main site, it was showin only 1 star. Now, I ain't no expert, but somethin seems off there. Maybe they need to sort out their ratin system or somethin. Just sayin.
Terrible Customer Service and Account Termination: My Experience with Mercado Libre MX
So, I gotta tell you about my experience with Mercado Libre MX. I decided to buy some basic stuff like a mattress, sheets, pillow cases, and all that jazz. Spent a good $800 on it, you know? But man, things went south real quick.
First of all, they charged my card, no problem there. But then, out of the blue, they terminated my account just like that. And guess what? They didn't leave me any way to get in touch with them. I tried sending emails through their own website's contact system, but guess what? They all came back as undeliverable! Can you believe that?
I didn't stop there, though. I tried calling them, but no one ever picked up. I even went as far as calling their headquarters in Argentina, but nada, zip, zero response. It's like they vanished into thin air. I mean, seriously, how am I supposed to contact them if they don't answer the phone? It's beyond frustrating.
And you know what's even worse? The only replies I got from them were these generic form/template messages. They didn't even bother explaining or addressing any of the issues I had. Talk about terrible customer service, right?
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend using Mercado Libre MX. They don't deserve any business at all. Save yourself the headache and find another place to shop. Trust me, it's not worth the trouble.
Unreliable Delivery and Poor Customer Support: Mercado Libre's Failure to Provide Proof of Delivery
I bought this thing on Mercado Libre for 70,000 pesos, but guess what? I never got it! They're saying it was delivered on April 7, 2023, but I never got a password from them to give to the carrier. And get this, Mercado Libre rejected the claim the seller opened (the claim number is ***771) because they said their records showed it was delivered. But they didn't show me any proof of delivery! I tried messaging and calling Mercado Libre, but no luck. Good thing my credit card hasn't been charged yet.
