If you have any issues recovering funds, do not rely on tech support to assist you. About 90% of their support is run by poorly programmed AI, and the other 10% is “not qualified” to help with basic issues. I have money stuck on my uber pro card that I cannot use or transfer, tech support has not been able to help and keeps telling me that my account is not locked, despite the fact that it clearly is.
Recommendation: just use the money transfer system already programmed in uber’s app, the pro card is not worth the trouble
Robbed me for 2100 dollars I didn't have
Allowed my account to get deducted for 2100 in a unauthorized transaction and how idk cause I couldn't fn put it in negative balance without earning a fn Uber status and at most 150 fn dollars but allowed my fn account to be deducted for 2100 dollars 🤬 we need a class action law suit fast the reason it's not exactly 2100 cause they stole some of my pay before I caught on
May 4th 2023 Uber pro allowed an unauthorized transaction of 2100 dollars leaving me with a negative balance and I reported the unauthorized charge right away and they aren't even this kind of product to begin with to leave me with a 2100 advance and only allow me to borrow 150 tops with a high Uber status and refused to allow me to correct the error saying that the dispute is still in process but it's been months 😔 and I still have a 2100 negative balance and mindful I have 10 children in my care that this bs is affecting too
A person can steal my account mean while I'm working hard to borrow pennies while they expect me to pay them 2100 🥴 cold day in hell

Recently seen a driver reporting an issue with his app i went back to my app to check if I’m missing a transaction as well from previous trips to find out I’m missing a 68.33$ transaction, contacted uber support said contact the branche Evolve bank, contacted them they said contact uber support,
I need my money back i stoped driving for uber until this is fixed.

Don’t get the card!
I purchased gas at a pump using it as a debt card. I did not get the % back as you need to run it as a credit. Per instructions from Uber Pro Card support. On my next fill up I went in and pre purchased $40 and ran it as credit per instructions from support. Once again I did not get the % back.
Not only was the issue not getting a % back but the gas station put a HOLD FOR $150 on my card which didn’t release for 3 business days!
When you have bills to pay don’t use this card for gas! I will be cancelling this card and going back to my cash out to another card.
This card sounded good at the beginning, but after having it for a week it’s just a way to get you to use their card.

Becoming a pro member with Uber has a lot of advantages, you get cash back when at the pump as well at many other retail outlets, discounts when using in restaurants etc. there’s many perks to using this card these are just a few. my 2 favorite perks once approved for this card is unlimited and instant cashouts! As well as getting up to $150.00 in advances!. It’s 100% Interest free, which means you only pay back what you need up front! Weather gas, food a bill.. whatever speedbump you run into don’t worry using advances with your pro card allows you to continue at whatever speed your comfortable with.. “as long as your no breaking YOUR speed limit..” lol

Horrible card
This card has the potential to be something great, but has many many issues.
1. When I pump my gas at the pump, Uber claims that in order to get your cash back reward you must run your card as credit. I have done this a few times already and I have ZERO cash back. So you’re telling me you can’t do what was advertised on this card? Wasn’t that the whole point?
2. To make matters worse, after you’re done pumping gas, they take out a 150 dollar hold of your hard earned money for days! This is horrible for many drivers that always need the money right away.
3. The instant transfer fees from your card to the bank are absurd. Way too overpriced so I have to constantly go to an atm to take cash out which can be a hassle from time to time.
I don’t plan on using this card again until the issues above are fixed.
Allowed hackers to steal all my money from my account
I have made SEVERAL phone calls and I guess given hackers did a “account take over” per this bank- they stole $365.04 of the money I put into my account and the hackers triggered another $150 back up balance and I was also charged $7.30 for a processing fee for the hackers to download my money on their Visa card- I reported it to this bank in minutes and they still gave the hackers all my money and I just got a refund of $365 (I don’t know what happened to my .04 cents) on 1/3/2023 and shortly after that when I started putting money back in my account the bank took out ANOTHER $150 to pay back the back up balance the hackers stole- I have been trying to get back $307.34 since I realized the bank still gave it to the hackers and still charged me and it’s 1/17/2023 and now the dispute department ONLY can communicate through email- too bad I still have not gotten back my money ALL OF IT- nor have I gotten any further communication from the dispute department saying they are still working on it- NOTHING- if I was at a regular local bank they would had stopped it and even if they couldn’t I wouldn’t had too loose out on my money since the original incident took place 12/18/2022- as a single mother of 4 kids days before Christmas it was devastating and this bank makes it SO MUCH WORSE!

I used this card for direct deposits from my employer. Everything was fine until January 2023 when I didn’t receive my monthly direct deposit from my employer. I contacted my employer to see where my direct deposit was and they provided me with the account number for Uber that it was sent to AND with the Trace ID # to provide to Uber to locate the payment since it never bounced back to my employer.

I have contacted Uber for months now with no response other than “someone from accounting will contact you”. No one has contacted me yet or ever. I have email proof that I have reached out to Uber pro card again and again and again, providing screenshots, detailed information relating to the missing direct deposits, the Trace ID # to locate the direct deposit (my employer told me to provide this number to Uber to locate the payment), and all they say is they “can already see where my request has been escalated” and they ask me if I want them to escalate it again.

My entire paycheck is with Uber pro card and they are apparently stealing my paycheck. I have received direct deposits before and after this instance but they stole my January payment. You may have to take legal action in order to receive a response from this company.

Not as good as advertised
Uber touted this card as a way to keep more of my money, but that has not been my experience. To cash out into my credit union prior to to switching to the “Uber Card,” I paid up to $0.85 per transfer. Now to move money into my credit union account I pay a minimum of $2.50 and larger balances are more (I paid over $4.00 the other day). The system won’t connect to my credit union because it “can’t find” it, so I can’t do free 3-5 day transfers.
Additionally, I use the Up-Side app when I buy gas and other items, but if I don’t fill up at Exxon/Mobile using my Uber card, then I have to wait 2-3 business days for the funds held by Evolve Bank and Trust to release. This is exacerbated by Evolve because after the transaction finally goes through, the transaction still shows as “pending” in my account. For example, say I have $85 in my Uber/Evolve account and purchase $55 in gas at Circle K. Evolve will hold $85 for up to three business days. Additionally, once the $55 clears, the $85 is still “pending.” During the pending period the total transaction value is $140. I will not be able to use my Uber/Evolve card for purchases until the system does its thing (2-3 business days) unless my balance is over $140.
To continue the annoyance, Up-Side does not have fuel discounts for Exxon/Mobile stations (at least not in my area) and the fuel there is about $0.20/gallon more than Circle K. So I can pay $0.20/gallon more to get a 9% cash back reward at Exxon using my Uber/Evolve card or pay $2.50-$4.00 to transfer money to my credit union account to get a $0.03/gallon cash back reward from Up-Side.

There’s absolutely no contact information for when there is a problem that has to be fixed.
You won’t let me put my mailing address into the app. I have to use my mailing address. Every single important thing that gets sent to my physical address never gets to me. Ballots, statements, cards that might have money, car insurance, drivers license, etc You name it is it’s important I’m not going to get it. Post office doesn’t do anything. So I have to use a different mailing address. Your app won’t accept my mailing address. Every time I try to fill it out there’s no way to send it and it doesn’t show up on as being selectable anywhere on that page.
I still don’t have my card. I just ordered a new one. The chances of me getting it are about 00.01%. If I do get it it will literally be the first important thing I’ve gotten out of hundreds.
I need to change the address to my mailing address because I also don’t want anything further to get sent out with personal information that whoever takes my mail is getting.
Please fix these two things.
1) There has to be an official contact number for a bank. If I’ve got a problem I want a person not an app or even a recording. And I don’t want to search for over an hour trying to find a number that’s been well hidden so hopefully people will give up and leave you alone.
2) Make a way for me to input my mailing address. I know it’s official. I know I get my mail there successfully all the time. I don’t care if your system can’t find it. I’m telling you where I want business mail from you sent to.
Sorry I don’t have anything positive at the moment to say in this review. Fix the problems and I’ll delete this and give you five stars.
Do not recommend
Automatically set up as the default payout method as soon as activated, no option given or feedback solicited. No way to remove it as default payout method once activated — no way to change payout method at all, in fact. I had to call support & ask them to disable automatic payouts to the card, which involved submitting a form & waiting several days for it to be processed. Now I can cash out selectively again to either debit card or bank account, but not to the pro card — remind me why not again..? Anyway… Once money is transferred to the pro card it can only be moved elsewhere by either bank transfer which takes 3-5 days & requires giving your bank credentials to a 3rd party, or by instant transfer to debit card which incurs a huge percentage-based fee. For reference, I used to be able to do an instant transfer of any amount to my debit card for fifty cents. $200? Fifty cents. $500? Fifty cents. $1000? Fifty cents. The pro card quoted me $4 and change to move $242. So immediately once the card has been activated, literally the ONLY way to access money earned through Uber without incurring their bogus new instant transfer fee or waiting for days is by driving to a no-fee ATM, withdrawing the cash, driving to the bank, and depositing said cash into bank’s ATM. Your fancy new thing should not be making my life more complicated, or costing me more money than it did before to do the same thing, Uber. Oh and last but not least: debit transactions made with the pro card seem to incur HUGE holds on available funds. I bought $40 worth of gas and an additional $150 “hold” was straight up deducted from my balance. Just gone. In the wind. For however long it took the hold to clear. (Over a day I think.) ?!?!?!@?$!?!?! For reference, that doesn’t happen at a real bank… Just don’t trust this thing people — they are pushing it way too hard & making it way too difficult to opt out or use it in any way other than the one they want you to. The red flags are not in your imagination. Don’t trust a perfect person & don’t trust an app that’s flawless.

As Uber driver, the Uber Pro Card was offered to me all of my earnings deposited onto this card. I had a fraudulent transaction take place and I had to get my car replaced since then my account has been locked and I’ve been unable to access my funds. I’ve reached out to customer Support via phone and they said that they can unlock it and that it Hass to go to next level Support, it’s been well over eight days now and I’m still waiting for resolution. There’s also an option to email via the app when it’s locked. I sent an email from my email that is definitely my registered email on file and they said that it was unrecognizable then I sent an email from my alternate email which I only have two emails And they said that was an unrecognizable email. I am getting nowhere with them. This is definitely a violation of my consumer credit and at this point I just feel like they stolen from me once this is resolved I will never use this card again.

I have had my account locked since monday. I contacted the branch support who handles he uber pro card issues so many times but as I am speaking to you enormous emails and phone calls but it looks like no one cares. The seriousness of this issues is I have the card as my payment method. When the card got blocked I continue driving but now I cant even see how much is on the card again. My money is stuck and no one seem to care.

I contacted Uber pro card to update my phone number and somehow the rep ended up locking my account. I worked for money that I cannot even access and no one can seem to help. They are talking about it can take up to 12 days for the issue to be resolved. How can I live off of no money for 12 days. This card company is a complete scam and I have an alternate card listed on my account that I should be able to cash out to and it won’t even allow me to cash out to that card. Uber Pro Card left me stranded on the side of the road with no gas in the freezing cold because they sent me on a trip from Annapolis MD to Dundalk MD which was almost an hour drive for a food delivery. I had to find another route because I do not own a EZ Pass to cross the bridge the entire trip took over an hour. There is no way to pay for tolls with cash money in the state of Maryland! All that driving for $8 and then locked me out of my Uber Pro Account and left me with absolutely NO MONEY STRANDED! Baltimore is a dangerous city for a woman to be stranded on side of the road in the freezing cold in a car with no heat due to not being able to use the card to get gas. Just unlock the card so I can cancel it because I will never allow myself to be in this situation again EVER!

My account has been locked since last night due to Uber calling me and changing my info, I’ve been calling branch customer service and they are just telling me it has been escalated without a window of opportunity. I’ve read reviews of customers having their card locked for a month and still no resolution and I’m afraid of becoming one of those accounts. I use my Uber pro card for most of my purchases and now I’m dead in the water unable to access my funds or my promotions with Uber. I’m disgusted by branch customer service as for they have no clue how to help you I don’t know what good they are. Seems kind of pointless to me. I will update if I ever get my account unlocked but as of now they’re saying next week. No food for me for a while!

There was a pending hold on my account from 8/02/2023. They released it on 9/11/2023 and then it disappeared again on 09/12/2023. I can't work due to my account being negative over 300 dollars. I was on hold for an hour waiting to reach an agent.
There was also 40 dollars missing they will not account for, documented here. It is not the first time that has happened.

Being locked out of my account for a month! I’ve been calling them everyday just to update basic information like email and phone number so I can log in. Now all of the sudden they are holding my money and won’t respond to take it off! They keep saying it’s been forwarded to the escalation team and that a supervisor is supposed to call back and haven’t heard from nobody for a month! Also,every time I call ,which is everyday,I still have to tell them my new info,every single day! Holding my money for no reason and no warning! All because I want to update my email! I have used this card for hertz rental to drive for Uber twice security deposit.plus rental authorization hold 5-6 hundred each time .after a week hertz cleary drop unthorizion fall back to your account and start to charge twice payment week before than after. Uber pro card nbank will remove transaction and no fund was return. U have to dispute and not much there will be helpful . Fraud alerts. So now I figure out trying used other bank card for rental with hertz again.after a week I notice the whole authorization and rental that I paid picking up car was all return in a week than there were charge u twice the following week. They gave it back and took it again in less than 24 hours. If I have a lawyer file a lawsuit, I'll come back here to get your information.

I got my card. Tried using it three times without success. Tried to set up Bank to receive my funds and get a message that says “oops”. I called Branch and there response was that it’s happening a lot. He told me to update the app. I did and the same problem occurred. So I cannot get any money I’ve earned. He said he’d escalate the call and I’d get a call within 24-48 hours. Meanwhile no money and unable to use the card.
Annoyed with new “changes”
I was actually really enjoying using this card up until I got an email about the new “changes” regarding the backup feature. It was really convenient & helpful to be able to borrow smaller amounts at a time then pay it back little by little. But now forcing us to take it all & pay it all back before being able to use it again is pretty annoying. I hate when these apps switch up like that. Considering just going back to using my regular debit card

I’ve had an on going issue since 12/16 and no one seems to care to help. I’ve received so many automated answers. I finally received word from an actual representative and they didn’t help me at all. I have multiple screenshots showing proof of them owing me money and they beg to differ even though my statements show me clearly what I received. Terrible terrible terrible customer service and branch owes me $96 still. Don’t ever sign up for this card!

Scam vibes. Taking more than the $150 that is owed from back up balance. Placing holds never returning the money. I’ve watched my balance change before my very eyes without any transaction occurring and the same transactions listed as pending. This card and app has inconvenienced me on many occasions. I want all my money returned. I’m going to disable this card ASAP. Would not recommend! Pay the .50 fee to cash out to a REAL bank. I absolutely hate this app.

I hadn’t been driving due to personal reasons so I was off the Uber platform for a while. Uber Pro Locked my account and the money I made when I came back I have no access to. I reached out to the support team 5 days in a row and all they did was submit tickets to a department with “no phone”. The guy I spoke to this morning was very condescending like it brought him pleasure to tell me there was nothing he could do. I can’t wait to disconnect my Uber account from BRANCH. The worst!
Uber Exploitation
Uber is known for exploiting and overreaching with its workers. This borrowing option on the app is a prime example of that. They take all your wages, all, Until you pay them back. So all ur wages belong to them until you pay them back $200-100. You will be working for free until the loan is paid. Which is flat out exploitation. Report Them my Uber Workers, the FTC and DOL. Door Dash has the same card without that option and you don’t have to have Uber having access to your funds and their whim.
Cash back rewards not accurate
Going to Exxon and paying at the pump does not get you the extra 3% cash back and neither does going to Advance Auto Parts get you the 15% as stated in the terms and conditions. At least not here in Utah. I have contacted Branch through the app's support feature but have only gotten run around answers saying that the the issue has been escalated to the next level of support and a fix has been deployed but the problem persists. I have been reporting the issue since February and still has not been resolved.
