7-Eleven - Customer service received or not received more like

On 07/26/23 I booked a round trip Uber to 7-Eleven at 8500 Madison Ave, Fair Oaks, CA 95628.

I arrived at 1:54am needing to put cash on my cashapp account which is done by the 7-Eleven worker scanning a barcode on my phone and of course paying the cash amount I needed added.

When I arrived the doors were locked from the inside by a trash bag wrapped through the door handles which allowed the doors to be opened only about 6 inches. The worker at 7-Eleven said that he would be closed for only about 10 more minutes and then would open up. I asked my Uber driver if he was able to wait that long since I had the round trip booked but he was unable to wait with me for 7-Eleven to open up.

As I was waiting the 10 minutes the 7-Eleven worker came to the doors and opened them about the 6 inches keeping them locked with the trash bag and asked what I needed. I let him know I needed to add cash onto my cashapp which he tells me that he will be closed for the next hour and he is not able to add cash at this hour and told me to leave. I couldn't believe what he was telling me. I asked if I could please get a drink at least and he denied me service! He told me that I needed to leave and he was not going to open back up. I asked him if I could please hand him my phone and the cash I needed added through the door and I would stay outside which he also denied me. At this point he gets on the phone like a he calling the cops so I walk to the corner off the 7-Eleven property to continue to wait for my ride to take me to another location so I can get the money added to my account.

While waiting, another customer shows up and is let inside and helped. I took my next Uber to the 7-Eleven at 9396 Greenback Lane, Orangevale, CA 95662. I was able to quickly add money onto my cashapp with no problems at all.

My round trip Uber went from $10.99 to more than double at a total of $24.24.

Desired outcome: I would like an apology from the 7-Eleven worker, I feel I was profiled (not usually a problem for a white female). I would also like a refund of the additional funds I had to spend on Uber.
