We’ve been loyal 7-Eleven customers for over 20 years, but my experience at this location (7285 Crestway Dr, San Antonio, TX 78239) was beyond disappointing. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the first time my family or I encountered rude & unprofessional behavior from the staff here, but this incident was unacceptable!
On Wednesday, January 2, 2025, I visited the store around 5 PM to pay for a car wash. When I inquired about the car wash, one clerk (Ricky) rudely stated it wasn’t working without any greeting or explanation, while another clerk (BZ - I guess) contradicted him and said it was functional. Both clerks didn’t know what’s happening in their location, displayed nasty and unfriendly facial expressions throughout the interaction, making it clear they were not welcoming or approachable to customers. Trusting BZ’s word, I paid and proceeded to use the car wash.
Unfortunately, the car wash malfunctioned. The soap application did not work, and the system merely rinsed and dried my car without actually cleaning it. I returned to the store to inform the clerks, and Ricky admitted he had warned it wasn’t working. However, BZ dismissed my concerns, claiming my car parked outside looked clean because it was wet. Their rude attitudes and lack of basic customer service skills were extremely frustrating!
After much back-and-forth and even waiting for BZ to test the car wash himself, he eventually admitted the soap function wasn’t working properly. However, instead of issuing a full refund as they promised at the beginning, they refunded only $5, insisting that since I had already used the car wash, I wasn’t getting more than that. Their unpleasant demeanor and refusal to resolve the issue professionally were infuriating.
When I requested to speak with a manager, they laughed at me, ignored my concerns, and told me to come back the next day and that there’s no manager there. Their behavior was not only unprofessional but also disrespectful. Another customer in line even sympathized with me, acknowledging how poor their service was.
In the end, my car remained dirty, I wasted my time and money, and I left feeling insulted. This location’s staff clearly lack the basic training and customer service skills needed for such roles. 7-Eleven management needs to take immediate action to train employees and ensure consistent service across all locations.
I will not return to this store, and I plan to share this bad experience on Google Reviews, Yelp, and other online platforms to ensure others are aware of the unprofessional treatment customers might face here. Additionally, I will bring this up at our upcoming HOA meeting to inform all neighbors about this poor service to avoid this place.
Until changes are made, I recommend avoiding this location entirely.

Poor service and product selection. This store attracts homeless and street meetings. Gas credit card reader wouldn't work, rude clerks with attitudes. All the machines barely work, poor maintenance. Quit selling lottery tickets because you discourage it anyway. If you don't pay with a credit card, they never have change. Beware of the 7-eleven near zoo in brevard county florida
While this review is not our personal experience, the call from a long time family friend who's been a florida resident all of his life has made us aware after we ourselves have been here for more than 41 years ourselves, that we will never patronize the 7-eleven near the brevard zoo, ever again. Our friend was so upset but more so he was shocked at the abuse he received from an "employee" there today. Apparently even the manager is afraid of the employee who had just come into "work" with a giant attitude & an over load of aggression she was wanting to "throw" at someone & our friend was the receiver. When places of business are this unsafe for their customers there's no need to choose that place, for anything. Hopefully this store has audio & video & maybe they'll view the abuse their "employee" showed towards this man. Even to the point of her chasing him outside in the parking lot to "finish" cussing him out. He said he knew what she "really" wanted & it was without a doubt, she wanted it to be racial because it was obvious she didn't want to be there to work, at least not today & took "whatever" out on him. No way will we ever go there now. We live very close to this 7-eleven & have frequented it for fuel & sometimes snacks, but, never again. Things have "changed" even here.

Went to 711 on bougainville drive at 2 and the Filipino lady did not want to help cause she said no change for 100. I asked about the vending machine to get change when needed. She said she cannot and showed me all 1$ bills. What she did was vemd money for her drawer and tell a customer no. I left the [censored] and told her ill go elsewhere.. what that lady was, is LAZY

At 2 pm. Bougainville 711 in honolulu, the cashier is lazy and did not want to vend change. I only had 100$ bill, I asked her why can't she vend the change, I worked at a 711 and you can vend it. She was stunned that I asked. She bended 1 $ bills probably to top off her till instead ,and told me only do this showed me the 1$ bills. Adapter which was bought last week from east point mall.
I bought an adapter from 7/11 and went to return it within half hour, I was told that the manager is not on place so need to come the next day as the staff are not authorized to do it. I came the next day and the manager left early and they asked me to come after chinese new year holiday again as she is on leave.
I again arrived after the holiday and I get the same response, this is the service when someone is returning the product and I showed it to the staff that I haven't even opened the package and it was a very ridiculous experience as while buying the staff is good but while returning they are just ignoring the customers.

I went and made an offer for 20 wedges for $7. Waited for it to be made, when I received it my wedges were tiny and did not even fill half of a take out box. Went back inside and showed the person working, and expressed my disappointment on how small the amount of food I received. They showed me the rest of the bag and said that that is what they had. I put in my DoorDash account card and asked to withdraw $100. It asked if I wanted a balance Inq and I said no. It also asked which account and how I wanted my receipt, I said paper. It then asked one more ambiguous question about receiving updates and I said no. Then it abruptly said something like “transaction unauthorized” so I was confused but I tried to get my card out of the machine. It wouldn’t release at first but eventually did. No paper or any other message came from the machine. I grabbed my card and went to another store and that’s where I saw my balance was below 100 due to a recent withdrawal of $109 at 7/11. So I got back in my car and went back. The clerk said he had no control and then I checked the atm Incase it dropped money after I left/ nothing there. I called in the morning and they denied the message I received and claimed they declined my balance inquiry but the second transaction was for $199 and they approved it, dropped the cash, and printed a receipt. All lies. The cash does go into a holder with a door but it said transaction not approved so I didn’t try and Ali I’d never said approved or get your cash or print any sit or transactional receipt/ the atm co said they are sending a tech out today to fix it. But that they wouldn’t refunds they said the next guy came in 3 minutes after me and got $409 from his bank and also got my $100 so they can’t help me.

Cash-in refund not processed immediately
Cash-in took minutes to hours before it gets credited to my account. Manager said, the cashier experienced timeout reason that it was not processed. So they will reprocess it and it will take 2-3days for the crediting. It’s unfair for a customer to wait that long despite the fact that it was supposed to be instant cash-in. All I need is to cancel the transaction for me to get a refund and I’ll have another 7/11 store do it successfully for me. Let me note that the cashier who did the transaction also has given a short change. So why do I not deserve immediate resolution from incompetence/negligence made by your employee. Very simple logic.

I had a bad experience when I was at Kapalama 7-Eleven. I bought some food and beverages, and this young guy cashier was so unprofessional and offended me by asking how I paid for my item in cash or EBT. That was so unprofessional that you could hurt anyone's feelings.
This happened Wednesday from around 4 pm to 5 pm. When your Cashier asked me how I paid for my item, he asked me for EBT or cash, which is uncomfortable to ask that way!

I went to a 7-11 located at 274 Bay Shore Rd, North Babylon, NY 11703 at approximately midnight on Friday, Nove. 3, 2023. I purchased a pack of cigarettes, a banana, a pint of sour cream & Nestles Strawberry milk. The clerk did not give me a receipt. I charged my purchase on a credit card. When I got home, 4.5 miles away, I opened the sour cream to find a large circle of green mold in top. The strawberry milk was curdled.
