I was on my way to Dollar tree like I always do after I come out of the gym, but last night when I got to the Dollar Tree I got stopped by the security guy saying that I will be banned from the store and maybe even trespassing because my car was making a lot of noise (my car being street legal race car, the car is heavily modified so it's a little bit loud) he said that people were complaining when actually people were taking pictures of my car like they always do, and asking me for social media info of my car. I love this location and I love how the employees treat me and greet me when I come to the store every day from Monday to Friday, but after last night I'm afraid you may have me and my friend's business... that's not how you treat a customer and even worse you don't stop a customer on the way in front of everybody like if he was a criminal just because they drive a $100k+ car that is heavily modded and makes it a little loud.
Dollar Tree - harassment
I'm a regular customer usually buy around night, however today was an awful terrible day! As always very nice employee Zoemarie and Wildee were very welcoming maintain the lines short, the store looks wonderful as always. I know them as they usually close from time to time and they treat well each customer. Today I came in with some company to buy for donations, once we were entering Zoemarie great us like always, and tells us someone complained about our cars and that they told her to tell us about it. Which is absurd as in not her problem at all! As a 50 year old man who drives a sport car should not be anyones problem either, my son car, we tell her that we were sorry that they complained but there was nothing we could do as they are built cars. Again we shop regularly and never had an issue. We thought the issue was done right there, till we see Zoemarie almost crying in one of the isle. We asked and she tells us that due to our cars she was in trouble again, which again is NOT her problem which is very disturbing and disrespectful as that's not her problem, we come here to shop when the peak has slown down since is a tourist store. However the issue continued to the security person complaining more which one is not his problem to complain, his jobs is to maintain area is safe from worst things! We were sorry to the associates but left our carts and did not buy anything. I hope this could be resolved as is not the way to treat a client and less a employee that was doing their job.
