Today, April 11, 2022, around 3:30 p.m., I entered the Bowie Goodwill and headed directly to the counter where sun glasses and purses are kept as I ALWAYS do.
I looked around for assistance while waiting for someone to arrive to help me. After several minutes, an attendant. There was another person with her who wanted to see a large yellow tote bag. I pointed to a purse in the display several times for the attendant who finally reached in and gave it to me. By that time, the Customer had requested to are 3 items in the cabinet. As soon as she saw the purse that was handed to me by the attendant, she said that she wanted to are it. I told her that I had been waiting as the counter for a while for someone to give it to me to purchase. I put the purse in my cart an attempted to walk away when thw attendant said that I had to leave the purse behind the counter until I was ready to complete my shopping. Before I knew it, the customer snatched the purse from the attendant and rushed to the register to purchase the purse along with a full cart of items.
I requested assistance from the manager, but he did nothing and allowed the other customer to purchase the purse.
THAT WAS NOT RIGHT! I come a long way to shop in the Bowie store. I should not have been treated that way. I am a Senior citizen who frequently shops at that store, and I am still recovering from recent foot surgery.
Desired outcome: Compensation

As I was leaving a Goodwill in E. Mesa (store 050) off Guadelupe, an employee was bullying a customer coming in. It was at 6:30pm 10/22/2022 Saturday evening. The employee was blocking the customer from coming in which blocked me from exiting. The employee was completely...crazy, ignorant of law and was trying to impose her idea of what she wanted the law to be. She was yelling at the customer at the door for everyone to hear. I guess she wanted to be "right" the louder she got. Just because she's an employee doesn't mean that she creates law. The man was super patient and tried to be decent and respectful, but the employee was deranged. Employees should not bully customers period. Just because she has a different political view doesn't make it right. This is a perfect example of what is wrong with America. She should not be working at Goodwill if she is bullying customers. I was tempted to step in but the young fellow seemed like he controlled the situation well enough on his own without intervention. This bothered me highly.
