The week of February 6th I took my twin daughters shopping for a winter formal dress. They picked out a few dresses. While looking for a fitting room, we saw an associate working and asked her if there was a fitting room. She told us no but we could purchase them and return them if they didn’t fit. So we did. In Cottage Grove, MN, came out. I started to explain to him what had happened and before I even finished he cut me off. I proceeded to try and explain again, and he crossed his arms and said absolutely no returns. As I started to tell him that I wouldn’t have purchased so much if his employee had not had told me I could return them, he started to raise his voice. He was rude enough that another customer came over and told him he was being extremely rude and that she has been given a return at that store in cash just that month. He then pointed at a sign that talked about exchanges and I told him it says nothing about returns and how could I possibly know that returns weren’t accepted if HIS EMPLOYEE told me I could? He refused to give me contact info of his supervisor and was extremely rude overall.
Desired outcome: Manger to be written up or taken out of manager position, no customer should be treated that way when it was the stores wrong doing and their lack of training/incorrect information given. I would also like a refund.
