P C Richard & Son botches the delivery and damages the refrigerator!
Well, the refrigerator was delivered late, at a few minutes after 2:00 pm. I was actually okay with that--I would have preferred it to be earlier in the day but fifteen or twenty minutes late is no big deal with me, I've had people show up many hours late or not show up at all. Besides, I'm sure delivering appliances is hard work and not the most pleasant job in the world and this was confirmed when I heard the two guys cursing with the foulest Spanish possible outside in the hallway. Hey guys, I speak Spanish! Not a nice thing to do! However, they were polite to me and for all I know one of them dropped the refrigerator on the other one's foot.
While the delivery men were bringing the new refrigerator into the apartment, I saw that it had several small dents on the top right side, some with white paint in them, as well as a very large dent on the corner of the refrigerator compartment door. What? I had ordered a new refrigerator, not a floor model or scratch & dent special!

PC Richard & Son - The installers crushed the exhaust pipe and broke the gas line valve and did not even mention it to me.

I Had broke the exhaust pipe while installing a new dryer - We had a very unfortunate, incompetent mistake happen with our dryer installation, that could have caused the death of our whole family. The installers crushed the exhaust pipe and broke the gas line valve and did not even mention it to me! This caused the gas to escape into the house. I arrived home after work, to the gas smell and was smart enough to call PSEG. The whole house would have blown up. I want to discuss compensation with the president of p c richards or the legal team! I have pictures of everything that was broken and damaged!

PC Richard & Son - this store can not be trusted and totally not reliable!! I will never buy p c richard & son electronic products.

I bought a washer from PC Richard & Son, and was confirmed to deliver washer on Sunday, April 1, 2012 between 1:45 pm to 4:45 pm. However, I waited and waited. PC Richards and Son deliverman have NO show and NO phone call.

I called again and again. However, nobody answer my phone! I wasted 4 house for nonthing!

I really really pissed by PC Richard & Son terrible serives! This Paramus store can NOT be trusted and totally NOT reliable!

I will never buy PC Richard & Son electronic products again. How could they do that to their customer?

PC Richard & Son - . karl's appliance is an authorized distributor/dealer of just about every name brand appliance available!.

Never ever buy a GE product! Especially at PC RICHARD & SON ! The worst experience you could ever imagine! First, GE Products have a history of at least past 3 years of extremely poor quality control. Over a 96% premature failure rate!
Suggest buying all other brand appliances at Karl's Appliance, they have a small awesome appliance department staffed by about 3 very courteous, extremely knowledgeable, wonderful people who live in the local community. They would never recommend or sell you anything that would be troublesome. They also take the time to research both the product feedback, and price matching for us and everyone we have recommended to them for the past several years without having to ask.Karl's Appliance is an authorized distributor/dealer of just about every name brand appliance available! We have been so happy with this local Karl's Appliance and the unbelievable knowledgeable customer experiences we have received! We have purchased over $20k with them, and that should speak for itself!

I think all GE consumer goods are now produced by some lousy Chinese company. They used to be a top of the line brand. I bought an air conditioner a while back and it had multiple things wrong with it, including that it didn't cool very well. Also, on the outside it looked exactly like another off-brand product.
I returned it.

PC Richard & Son - I contacted pc richard & son with brian cioffi 8818, and asked for either a full refund, or exchange.

I bought a display model Bosch gas dryer from Brian Cioffi 8818 at PC Richard & Son in paramus new jersey, with an additional 4 years warranty. The dryer broke after being in use for two months. I had a technician from Bosch, and from PC Richard come and examine the dryer. They said it is not reparable. I contacted PC Richard & Son with Brian Cioffi 8818, and asked for either a full refund, or exchange. The store offered me a partial refund, only for $350 (I paid a total of $801). PC Richard & Son would allow me only to re-select a dryer at their store. I have been on the phone with PC Richard central office [protected]), for six business days They have the worst customer service ever. If I accepted their partial refund, I would lose $451. They do not want to exchange the gas dryer either. Never buy anything at PC Richard & Son. Their extended warranty is worth nothing.

PC Richard & Son - I will just go and buy another refrigerator somewhere else despite the warranty and sue them in small claims court.

This is my third GE refrigerator in 10 years from PC Richards. The second was bought in 2000, and the compressor went out one month after warranty. Then, I purchased KitchenAid that came to my house damaged. All my food was out now, waiting for a fridge. So, the only thing available now was another GE which costs another $500, but the salesperson George says, "It's the top of the line." I buy a 10 year warranty.Four years later, and the thing is broken. The technicians have been there twice. The latest is that the cooling system needs to be replaced. As above, they ordered parts. Another week and no one will replace my refrigerator until it is deemed unfixable no matter how long that takes. So far, this has cost me $1, 300; $200 to buy an emergency refrigerator as cardiac medication had to be refrigerated, $300 for warranty which was an absolute waste, $600 in spoiled food, and $100 each time as I need to pay someone to wait for the repairman. This refrigerator is in a vacation home. I have been a loyal customer of PC Richards for years and spend several thousand dollars per year. I can tell you now, this company is uncooperative. At this point, if this is not fixed, I will just go and buy another refrigerator somewhere else despite the warranty and sue them in small claims court. I have read similar horror stories from other consumers to my great dismay, and I cannot be without a refrigerator for months or deal with endless visits from incompetent technicians. This is the third lemon refrigerator form them. Absolutely amazing.

PC Richard & Son - either I get my money back or I am going to court and make it seen on national tv.

I purchased a French door fridge for $3, 000. When it was delivered, they said that the water will work in a while and make ice, then, they left. The fridge never made ice and the water never came out. Then, the food started to freeze along with the milk and other dairy products. The main computer was dead. They sent a repairman over and they fixed the ice maker and water. But the computer continued to not work and our food kept on freezing in the fridge.We complained to the company and they sent us another fridge. When it arrived, it was damaged on the outside. I didn't pay $3, 000 for a damaged fridge! A few days later, they sent us a third fridge and in three months, it started to break down. I have video proof of what is going on with the fridge. When I called the store to have service done to it, a guy came in and said "You have too much food in your fridge that is why it is dripping and condensation is forming." Are you kidding me? How dumb do they think I am.Then, I rescheduled another service by the manager from the Paramus store. They never showed up. I went to the store again and they scheduled another appointment, but they never showed up. I called up the main store and complained so they sent someone over around 3:20 PM. He said that there is a piece of ice cube in the compartment causing the noise. He took it out and left. In a matter of five minutes (not even), the fridge is still making the same sound. I am sick and tired of this. Either I get my money back or I am going to court and make it seen on national TV. I am warning the people out there not to do business with P.C. Richard & Son.

PC Richard & Son - ge profile stove was also used and they said it was brand new.

we bought all our appliances, including the refrigerator in question, GE Profile . We were told at the time of purchase that the appliances were all new and had a few dents, cosmetic problems. Okay, we said we can live with that. We purchased the appliances. Many months went by, and our 7 unit home was completed. We kept the appliances safe in heated garage. When installed, the ice maker did not work as the hose was leaking. Other problems arose after we called GE, including the hinge was broken, door suction was striped. We then were told from the GE Company that the unit was 5 years, used food was found in both the freezer and bin. GE was very apologetic and said this was not fair and illegal to sell a used refrigerator. They are behind us 100%. The unit was built in 2005 and they don't sell this anymore. We also found the GE profile stove was also used and they said it was brand new. PC Richard Son carefully wrap their appliances with new packing material so the customer thinks the unit is new. I feel we were taken advantage of. That the company committed fraud

PC Richard & Son - pc richard & son salesperson ebadur khan 5952. that if something happens to the tv,

I purchased a 60-inch plasma LG TV for $1, 600. The TV started acting up after 5 months by shutting off by itself, unable to control volume. Now 2 months later, the TV doesn't turn on and if it turns on, it does not have picture. I purchased extended warranty for 2 years for $129 and I was told by the PC Richard & Son salesperson Ebadur Khan 5952.that if something happens to the TV, I can select a brand new TV for the price I purchased the original one and they will deliver the new TV and replace the old one. I even purchased HDMI cable for $150 because the sales person said that would work way better with this TV. So after spending $1, 800, I am getting a service that is not acceptable. I made an appointment with the service people and they advised me completely different. They came out with attitude to begin with, they said I will not get a new TV and they will need to take the TV to get it repaired for 2 weeks. So I need to stare at a big empty wall for 2 weeks. PC Richard & Son uses false sales technique to get their products sold. I was not aware that if anything happens to the TV, they will need to get it sent out to repair which will take weeks. Also, this TV is still under manufacturer's warranty being under 12 months so they should be able to ship it back to the manufacturer. I am extremely unhappy with the service I received from PC Richard & Son, especially that I heard their service was exceptional before. Well, I will definitely take my business to other stores where I get the service I deserve. I will also make sure I tell everyone I know not to ever purchase anything from PC Richard & Son as this has been a horrible experience.

A: All items covered under an Extended Service Protection Agreement are repaired at no charge to you. If P.C. RICHARD & SON determines that your product is unrepairable, we will replace it with a product of comparable performance, not to exceed the original purchase price. For display models we reserve the right to issue a store credit for the original purchase price.
No company will replace a $1, 600.00 TV without attempting to repair it first - otherwise, every lowlife would just intentionally damage their TV to get a new one for free.

PC Richard & Son - the blu-ray dvd player and a wall mount delivery as well.

I went to Paramus PC Richard & Son to purchase a 55 inch TV and in doing so, I spoke to a manager James and I was supposed to get the TV, the Blu-Ray DVD player and a wall mount delivery as well. I then went to set up delivery which was delivered today. However, the wall mount was not there. I was told that it would all be delivered. Then I went back to the store and was told we had to pay more money for the wall mount. I think this was a totally uncalled for way to treat a customer after I just spent over $2100. Please call or email to correct the unsatisfaction that I now have with your company. Thank you.

PC Richard & Son - never in my life have I experienced anything like this. the service center I called is [protected].

I don't think I would ever purchase another appliance from P.C. Richards. When I called today and spoke to someone, I asked for a phone number for corporate and was told they do not have a phone number. Never in my life have I experienced anything like this. The service center I called is [protected]. The supervisor would not get on the phone with me. I was told her name is Erica ** and I was told the service manager's name is Reshaun. As I explained to the person at the service center, you can understand my frustration. Not only am I into the laundry mat for a couple hundred dollars, I am having a house full of weekend company for thanksgiving. So when I am asked why don't I have clean towels, I will tell my story. Hopefully, I will receive a response. Thank you.

PC Richard & Son - they want to charge me an additional $600 plus tax to repair the screen

I purchased a computer and a two year extended warranty for my daughter from PC Richard & Son . When I purchased the warranty, I was told that everything would be covered as long as the computer was not dropped or intentionally damaged. The LCD screen went out/cracked and now PC Richard & Son will not honor the warranty. They want to charge me an additional $600 plus tax to repair the screen. I reread the warranty and there is no mention that LCD screens are not covered. My daughter did not drop the computer nor maliciously break the LCD screen. She is attending Liberty University in Virginia and needs her computer for school and homework. I spent $200 on a warranty that is not being honored. I have had to ship the computer to another service company and my daughter is without a computer for school. I would like the amount of the warranty repaid to me since PC Richards is not honoring it anyway.

Everybody knows extended warranties are a scam. Here's more proof:

Our landlord installed a small Hotpoint stove when we moved in ($350). Worked okay for 3 years we've been here, then the other day the oven decided to go full blast on the broiler and not turn off, a pretty dangerous situation. Luckily, I know enough to turn off the gas and unplug it.

My landlady had purchased the extended warranty ($100), so we thought, great, and called the next day for service. The earliest appointment was next Thursday.

They only give you a four hour window (before noon, after noon), and call you in the morning to tell you which you get, so you effectively have to stay home the whole day from work. I'm lucky and can work from home. On Thursday, they called the landlady and said that the repair person was sick and would not come by and one would come by the following Tuesday. This was unacceptable, so I called them back and they said the original repair had been set with the GE repair, and they would expedite it by using their own. The repair guy would be by the next day (Friday).

Friday, the repair guy comes by, spend five minutes and says he needs parts. So, these guys don't actually come to fix anything, rather they are just there to assess the problem. I'm told it will take 5-to-7 days for the part. Again, this is unsatisfactory. I called and am told that they will 'expedite' it.

Week 1 summary: 1 missed repair, 1 unprepared repair person, 2 very nice customer service reps.

5 days later (next Friday), I got a call and am told that the part is in, and that the soonest they can set a repair is for Tuesday, again, no specified time.

Week 2 summary: 1 part arrives, 0 fixed stoves, 0 repair persons.

Tuesday rolls around, no call. I finally called the repair center and am told that no repair is scheduled. I say that's not possible. I spoke to someone on Friday, scheduled and took the day off. After some time on hold, the representative came back and told me that what had happened was that the 'part' was actually 'parts' and they weren't all in and that the repair person had cancelled the appointment in the AM, not having the correct parts, but had failed to notify me. I'm told they don't know when the part will be in.

(By the way, my landlady is being very helpful, has offered to let me come down and use her stove, got me an electric tea kettle, and her super-duper electric roaster oven/griddle combo she's never used).

I have a business call and when it's done. I told her the situation and she called them back and they finally say the part will be here Tuesday.

Tally so far:
3 Weeks without stove
2 No-Shows from repair persons
4 Days home from work (in 3 weeks)
5 Very nice reps.

Factor in the cost of eating out for 3 weeks and it's clear that you should never spend one cent on PC Richards extended warranty. Put the money toward a better stove up front, or pocket it, and put it on a new one 3 years down the line.

I would like to point out that everybody was very nice and judging by the accents, I'm guessing very local. I can't say enough about how everybody seemed to want to help me, there just doesn't seem to be any process in place for accomplishing it.

Everybody knows extended warranties are a scam. Here's more proof:

Our landlord installed a small Hotpoint stove when we moved in ($350). Worked okay for 3 years we've been here, then the other day the oven decided to go full blast on the broiler and not turn off, a pretty dangerous situation. Luckily, I know enough to turn off the gas and unplug it.

My landlady had purchased the extended warranty ($100), so we thought, great, and called the next day for service. The earliest appointment was next Thursday.

They only give you a four hour window (before noon, after noon), and call you in the morning to tell you which you get, so you effectively have to stay home the whole day from work. I'm lucky and can work from home. On Thursday, they called the landlady and said that the repair person was sick and would not come by and one would come by the following Tuesday. This was unacceptable, so I called them back and they said the original repair had been set with the GE repair, and they would expedite it by using their own. The repair guy would be by the next day (Friday).

Friday, the repair guy comes by, spend five minutes and says he needs parts. So, these guys don't actually come to fix anything, rather they are just there to assess the problem. I'm told it will take 5-to-7 days for the part. Again, this is unsatisfactory. I called and am told that they will 'expedite' it.

Week 1 summary: 1 missed repair, 1 unprepared repair person, 2 very nice customer service reps.

5 days later (next Friday), I got a call and am told that the part is in, and that the soonest they can set a repair is for Tuesday, again, no specified time.

Week 2 summary: 1 part arrives, 0 fixed stoves, 0 repair persons.

Tuesday rolls around, no call. I finally called the repair center and am told that no repair is scheduled. I say that's not possible. I spoke to someone on Friday, scheduled and took the day off. After some time on hold, the representative came back and told me that what had happened was that the 'part' was actually 'parts' and they weren't all in and that the repair person had cancelled the appointment in the AM, not having the correct parts, but had failed to notify me. I'm told they don't know when the part will be in.

(By the way, my landlady is being very helpful, has offered to let me come down and use her stove, got me an electric tea kettle, and her super-duper electric roaster oven/griddle combo she's never used).

I have a business call and when it's done. I told her the situation and she called them back and they finally say the part will be here Tuesday.

Tally so far:
3 Weeks without stove
2 No-Shows from repair persons
4 Days home from work (in 3 weeks)
5 Very nice reps.

Factor in the cost of eating out for 3 weeks and it's clear that you should never spend one cent on PC Richards extended warranty. Put the money toward a better stove up front, or pocket it, and put it on a new one 3 years down the line.

I would like to point out that everybody was very nice and judging by the accents, I'm guessing very local. I can't say enough about how everybody seemed to want to help me, there just doesn't seem to be any process in place for accomplishing it.

Refrigerator not making ice for 6 months. Every time you call for repair it takes at least a week for repair person to come out. after five visits still not working. when does this end.
Do not buy PC Richard appliances, do not buy extended warranties.

I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery Air Conditioner from the P.C. Richards on 23rd St. between 5th and 6th Ave in Manhattan. With the Employee Pricing Sale we got a good price. Because we live in an apartment building we decided to have P.C. Richards install it and that was our mistake. First they charged over $200.00 with tax to install a window air conditioner. I could have lived with it had they known what they were doing.
This air conditioner has two insulation panels that supposed to be installed over the wings to help seal up a lot of gaps.. The installation personal never opened the installation manual to make sure they had all the parts. Had they read the insulation manual they would have seen that the book suggests using weather seal along the top and bottom of the unit and window to seal any gaps. Of course non of this was done so now I have a new air conditioner but it leaks cold air because it was not installed properly.
We called P.C. Richards and explained the problem. They said they would send the panels the next day. So this morning I the guys show up and I ask for the panels. They had no idea what I was talking about. So I am still waiting for the panels. Its hard to believe that P.C. Richards Installation techs are not better trained. These guys should have known something was wrong by the amount of cold air they could feel blowing through all the gaps and the side wings

I purchased a SUHD TV in August and was very happy with it. So happy, I decided to throw a Super Bowl Party as soon as I received it, bragging of course, how beautiful the picture was on this tv. A few days before The Super Bowl, the tv just died. I called for service, and explained that the tv was 5 months old and I also purchased the warranty. I asked if they could not repair it, could they possibly give me a loaner tv or a new one because I had 20+ people coming over for a super bowl party. To my surprise, their attitude was too bad! They didn't come out and say that, but read between the lines. Sorry, we can't do that. I could see if the tv was at least 1 year old but it wasn't even 6 months old and they wouldn't help me at all. I will never but anything there again. It seems like they don't care about the consumer, so stick a fork in me, Im done with PC Richards! And Im gonna put it on social media too, since they don't seem to care about the consumer...

This is the most horrible financial group I have ever delt with I will make sure I never do buisness with these crooks ever again. I have a 0% interest loan with havertys who used CITI Bank when GE Money bought out Citi Banks Loans, GE Money purposly and Fraudulently created a condition that apears that I was plus 30 days becouse I had auto pay to citi bank, when I refused to pay late fees on payments that went to Citi Bank on time with my auto pay GE Money started hammering my credit. To this day they are still hitting my credit negatively as 30 days late and what makes this pathetic is when I call the automated system it tells me my next payment is not due untill 2 weeks from now. Does any one know how to report this Fraudulet activity to the apropriate people like FDIC or Federal Trade Commision? They have caused a drop in my credit by 46 points. GE Money Bank credit reporting department had a " Go *** in Your Hand Attitude" after my 3rd call so as I see it the only way to get thier attention is thru reporting this or Class Action Law Suit

Went to PCR to buy a Sony LED LCD (KDL55NX810). Good price and they told me they had a few left in stock. Gave them my credit card and they said they'd call to arrange delivery because in the intervening minutes the last one at the local store was suddenly on hold for someone else. No problem, though, because there were several others in stock at another store about 40 min away. Two days later I get a call that the other units are all on hold for other people and it will be 3 weeks before they get more in. In the mean time they've charged my card $2295. But they're willing to sell me a similar unit with "exactly the same features" for the same price immediately. The unit offered is the KDL55HX800 which is one model DOWN and sells for $200 less everywhere. (Costco has it this week for $1595.). I tell them forget it and give me a refund and 7 days and three phone calls later am still waiting for the credit on my card.

Management sometimes when they weren't acting, greeted you and said hello and by your name and treated sometimes like an actual human being and same with coworkers.I was let go at the end of the day by two managers after making me work the whole day making me go thinking as if like nothing happened till the very end of the day for customer service when pulling me aside addressing the issues.

I was working as an Ace associate for an minimum wage hourly plus commission. I was one of the people responsible with him for doing freight Tuesday and Friday, tagging incoming freight with prices, putting it out on the floor after looking it up in the system or putting the remainder in the stock room, etc., etc. and price changes around the floor. Clean the floor clean, neat and maintaining safety and most importantly customer service.

The company stresses no overtime, yet they schedule me before my meal breaks for 39 hours a week and it ends up being 36 and a half to 37 hours a week after meal breaks.I am grateful for the accommodating of the bus. I wouldn't have gotten a hourly raise had I been there longer after a year and any extra money would be from the commission I made would just barely just to make up hourly wages lost and maybe transportation costs per month, which I made me lose incentive quickly to give it a chance or go further with this company & even though I didn't have a lot of credit cards since you ask when prompted by management and the system for preapproval and they still let me go? This company still stresses and you will hear it if you don't meet expectations like I didn't like not at least once credit card a day, covering and exceeding your draw, etc.

Even if I had been there 2years. I will be lucky if my commission alone after taxes covers my monthly bus pass that it I use to get to and from work and but no hourly rate increase a year sealed it for me. The company tries to make you believe that you can make good money during training and on the floor, but only top selling associates do especially if they have their own clientele base and all the managers and HR try to make you believe into thinking the same during training. They pride in taking competitors down others, etc.

in training, but if they are not careful, they will soon join them, especially with other competitors being national, while they, P C Richard & Son in Paramus NJ are only tri-state regional only. I felt there was no way in moving up while working there. On the sales floor and training room, your trained to be pushy commissioned salesman with a draw and speaking from experience from what I've seen like the full fledged commission ones to push items that you might not need. Like if you just came in for a television, they push items you might not want, like credit cards, extended warranties, generation cables, etc.

This job is not for me and not for everybody! Be warned before taking the ACE or full commissioned job with this company before accepting any offer this company. Advice to Senior Management – Learn manners, learn business ethics and reprimand in private instead of on the sales floor embarrassing the associate in front of fellow coworkers and customers where everyone can see it, also business ethics and learn to respect all of your associates and others under you just as you, yourself would want to be treated and you'll get respect back!

Just because your in a higher position of an assistant, actual store manager or district manager doesn't mean you can bully those beneath you, take advantage of your higher position over someone else and you go think you can get away with it.No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

We recently negotiated to purchase three appliances from Paramus store for a kitchen remodel. We explained that we would make the purchase, but would not need the items delivered for 4 to 6 weeks. The salesman Joe Botros Jr. 8246 and appliance manager Pat both agreed that that would be fine.

I had just opened an equity line of credit and had not yet received my debit card would not be acceptable for a $6000 purchase, but since we would not be taking delivery for at least 4 weeks, I assumed the starter would be acceptable. I was wrong. The appliance manager Pat advised that it was against company policy The appliance manager Pat and the salesman Joe Botros Jr. 8246 said that would be fine and that they would both be there at that time.

To be doubly sure that it would be accepted, I called the store They said it was at the manager's discretion, but after speaking to three employees and explaining that I had made arrangements with the appliance manager Pat, I was told it would not be a problem.

I was told that I could receive all of my appliances within days of calling for delivery. Not True!

They only had a partial delivery and did not tell me. The delivery guy gave me the news. when I called

the store the "sales person" Ola Yusuf 8174 promised us delivery of everything at one time, said he could not do

anything about it. Also the night before the store had called me to confirm delivery of all of the appliances.I will never shop at PC Richard again. When your retail numbers get low just remember the people you pissed off,

they were consumers that trusted you and you betrayed them...Shame On You!

I opened a new account with PC Richards 7/11. Made a purchase and later received my card in the mail". On 8/5/11 I activated my credit card and was advised that my account was past due, . A bill was sent to me with no apt # and returned?. After sorting everything and making a payment online I wanted to make a purchase the next day, . Went to the store picked a tv and was ready to leave, . Card declined after i thought all was right;.Joe Botros 8246 & Customer service could care less!. I went to bestbuy and spent $1000 on a tv.

I have never been so creeped out at a store. You walk in an get attacked right away by the sales men. They dont take the just looking card at all. They will say and try everything to get you to buy anything. After enough presure I put a deposit down on an item but wanted to look other places.. I was told the deposit was totally refundable which it was thats not the point. Getting the money back took over 20min. after trying to tell the guy no we dont want to put the depositt on anything else he asked why we didnt want the item, we told him we got it cheaper and used and he bagain to tell us how it will break down and we should have stuck with them... not to mention every guy was looking at my wife like she was meat. They make you feel really uncomfotable...ill never go back. best buy is much better.

Wrong, BBY is no better. Smaller selection and appliances are not their emphasis. You'll get the best selection at PC, Lowes, HH Gregg and Sears. Do your research and use the people only to consumate your order. For best service overall, buy from local dealers or mom/pop. BTW, even at the local dealers, the sales people may be on commission as well.

Try Best Buy today, sales people there don't leave you alone either! Whether its the clerks at Best Buy or the salespeople at PC they are all under pressure from management to make the sale. You can always buy online and watch your local retailers go missing!
As for your wife...lets not go there.

PC Richard & Son - I purchased a refrigerator which arrived damaged.

Our problems all sound similar. I purchased a refrigerator which arrived damaged. The store stated they would send a replacement freezer door and touch up paint in the time being. Neither arrived. Then I realized the refrigerator was freezing everything. one week after purchasing the unit it is being repaired. I called the store in paramus again. Ola said they would call me back Monday and get me a new unit. To this day no one has returned my call. Guess what? the unit is still freezing everything so now I have to get it repaired a second time. Submitted a charge back via Amex. I'm interested to learn how the credit agency situation worked out for the previous poster

PC Richard & Son - the girl who answered the phone at their paramus store was so rude and nasty,.

I purchased a refrigerator from PC Richard. When it was delivered I was very disappointed in the product. I called them and told them what happened. They said it would be picked up. They never came. I called again and asked them to please pick up the refrigerator. The girl who answered the phone at their paramus store was so rude and nasty, . I had ordered another refrigerator from LOWES, . It was delivered and I now had 2 refrigerators in my kitchen/. I once again called and asked them to please pick up the *** refrigerator!. Once again I called and spoke to another nasty rude girl in customer service!. She told it would be in their terms.. After a week they finally came:. I am now doing my kitchen over and I will never buy another appliance from PC Richard & Son in Paramus.

PC Richard & Son - I would re-schedule my delivery for monday. I said &no&,

Saturday 3/3/2012 my washing machine died. I got in the car and went to p c richard & son in paramus for a new one (since I needed one ASAP with a load of wet towels in my old machine). I was assured that delivery would be made on (sometime) on Sunday 3/4/2012. I got a phone call from p c richard & son at about 1:30 that afternoon to saying the store didn't include the hook-up hoses and wanted to know if I would re-schedule my delivery for Tuesday. I said "NO", I need the machine today. I sent someone to p c richard & son to buy another set of hook-up hoses and figured I'd work out a refund with p c richard & son at a later time. The machine still wasn't delivered by 7:00 p.m. that night. I phoned to find out that at about the time I got that phone call from Nick S, someone at the store cancelled my delivery. Needless to say, I'm going to be getting a full refund from the store and buying my appliances from a store that can offer more professional delivery service.

PC Richard & Son has to be the worst. Thier customer service is rude and it seems like they go out of thier way to be rude and un-helpful. I cant believe they are still in business. After my bad experience with them, I started reading reviews and found out everyone says the same thing. Just search the web for reviews of PC Richard & Son and you will see that my experience was not unique. They are simply rude and disshonest people. After I had to cancel a part order, they would not help and just kept saying NO returns, NO returns... I was willing to pay restocking fee, and any costs they incurred, but they just got more combative. I asked for the manager James, and was shocked to learn that the person I was talking to was the manager.STAY AWAY. Any business run by a person like that should be avoided!

I guess PC Richard & Son does not care about customer service otherwise action would have been taken at the Paramus store. If you have a complaint, file with the local Better Business Bureau and/or the state's Attorney General.

Their store manager and assistant manager tried very hard to do the right thing but the assistant manager James refused...When moving my existing TV to put the one in I had purchased from them their movers(to of their sales people)broke the panel...I had 5 different TV repair people say the same thing that it was the way p c richard & son moved my existing TV that broke it..but their store manager wouldn't even offer to send one of their techs out to look at it...I will never again purchase nor will I recommend them to anyone and I will continue to tell my story in the hope that no one else has to put up with the by far worse customer service I have ever had...

PC Richard & Son - the salesperson nick s then lectured s about his language. that's my job not some sales jerk's job.

I plan to replace 3 appliances. Paramus Area Bargains features this store almost weekly; so, it was the first place we wanted to check out.

I will NEVER buy anything from this store, and I do mean NEVER; if they were the only store around, and do the laundry in a bucket before I would spend any money at p c richard & son.

Why, you might ask.

First as you enter the store they have sales for customers. I took one and called to Nick S to take one; then a jerk of an employee, perhaps security guard, said in a loud voice, People turned around to see what was going on.

Secondly, we looked at stoves and then the salesperson Nick S took us to the washers and dryers. They had a pair that interested us. Nick S then said to me, "S%#T Terry this looks like a good deal". The salesperson Nick S then lectured S about his language. That's my job not some sales jerk's job

I thought about giving this creep a taste of a real language lesson, but instead grabbed my mom arms, walked by the store, and left the store.

PC Richard & Son - I actually called the two day to cancel because we saw the same fridge at lowe's for a cheaper price.

I am one frustrated customer!

I ordered a fridge from the Paramus location on 1/29. I actually called the two day to cancel because we saw the same fridge at Lowe's for a cheaper price. The person on the phone told me, no ... INSISTED that they would actually be able to meet the price as well as offer free delivery and free old-fridge removal like Lowe's AND would be able to beat Lowe's delivery time by two weeks. (Lowe's has told us 3 weeks, while p c richard & son told us 1 week).

Ok, everything sounded good to go, so we didn't cancel our order. The person Joe Botros Jr. 8246 on the phone said that it would take 3 business days to issue the credit to our credit card. After checking my statement online and giving them a couple more days to do the adjustment, I finally had to call after waiting a total of 2 weeks. It was then and there they issued my credit over the phone.

Their email system is garbage. I have put an order there and paid for it, but after a week it was cancelled automatically. I have no clue what happened so called them and they said that they sent me an email to verify my order but I never received it. Anyway serious this is how you do business online? In 2018? I'm done with them.

PC Richard & Son - p c richard & son in paramus, I don't like inconsistency.

The showroom is so unappealing, it's no wonder I didn't leave the store with an invoice. They have an array of washers and dryers OUTSIDE in front of the store - their clearance items. The tags on the items were faded because of the sun that you could barely see how much they are.

There's a connecting showroom where they have their washers and dryers and refrigerators. While walking to the other showroom, there's a little "courtyard" between the two rooms where they store other washers and dryers outside.

Anyway, the guy who helped us didn't really know what he was doing. There was a washer and dryer that my friend was looking at (with no price tags on there), so she asked him how much was the combo. He had this confused look on his face and threw out a number - $1, 400 with $200 in rebates. She was here last week and was told that the price would be $950 after rebates, before tax. OKAY?!

She was also quoted for the stacking kit, installation and delivery. Last week's price (and sales guy) was a lot less than what this guy was telling us. p c richard & son in paramus, I don't like inconsistency
