Date of incident: May 4, 2021
I would like to issue a complaint regarding an employee, possible manager, at the Goodwill store in Strongsville Ohio on Pearl Road.
I was wearing my mask but received a phone call from my out of state daughter. I was in an aisle alone and took the call. The employee with purple hair rudely and loudly told me to put up my mask. I told her I was taking a call and would do so in a minute and that no one was in my aisle. She stood there and loudly told me that it was store policy and to pull it up. I walked around the corner to another private area and she followed me and continued to harass me. I left the store without my cartful of merchandise and will not return until the mask policy is lifted.
This person has been vocal to other people about the mask issue like a Nazi. Also, the GW dressing rooms are open in Lorain county and continue to be closed in Cuyahoga County. I would hope management can rethink the stupidity of having changing rooms closed now as covid is not transferable via touching clothing. Most people in the store are 6 feet apart and it's never crowded so even the mask policy at this point is unnecessary.
Many people are tired of the overkill "safety" policies and have quit shopping at many stores. Common sense would be nice to see at this point. Thank you for listening.
