Lowe's

I was told that my Special order storm door was available to pick up at the Hayden Island Lowes. I drove the 25 miles to pick it up and after 25 minutes waiting for the Store Manager, I was told it was in Washington at the Lacamas Lake Store. I drove to the Lacamas Lake Store and was told that it was in the Hayden Island Store that I had just left. I talked to the Lacamas Lake Manager, Jamie Wagner, and asked him to get it transferred that evening to his store so I could pick it up the next morning early as I had contracted someone to install it.

The next morning I drove to the Hayden Island Store and picked it up.

I drove 100 extra miles and spent way too much time in traffic

Hello, my wife and I went to a Lowes to participate in the Fathers Day celebration. What we saw was very disappointing. One man at a grill was barbequing hot dogs with small bags of chips. There was only mustard and catsup, pretty plain. No drinks, a few baloons and nothing else. The media said there would be "food, drinks, childrens activities, grilling demonstrations and more." I called 2 other Lowes stores and one had only hot dogs and a raffle for a BBQ. The last store had the dogs, some color crayons and a grilling demo for kids. Lowes is a very good store of which I go to often. And for this event I told my son and step son of this event hoping they with their kids would have a great time. Instead Lowes really blew it with what could have been a great PR day. Instead, how could anyone be happy w/ the lack of promoted things through the media?
