Hoping Vacation VIP will do the right thing...
August 18, 2023
Hello,
In January 2023 my wife found an ad on Facebook (on her iPhone app) for this amazing deal of 6-Days/5-Nights Luxury Resort (All-Inclusive) Vacation Package to Puerto Vallarta, PLUS a 6-Day/5-Night Bonus Cancun Getaway (All-Inclusive vacation package). The ad stated we had 12 months to use this, then 12 more months from that date to use the bonus vacation.
The “normal rate” was listed at $4,880 but this advert listed the price as ONLY $599 TOTAL per couple.
The “catch” is (why you get it for this price) that you have to attend/participate in a “fun & friendly, no-obligation 2 hour preview of the resort while in Puerto Vallarta.”
We paid the $599 advertised price and got screenshots of the advert details, bonus details, and transaction details and payment with our Apple card on her iPhone. After several months we talked to them about paying for extra days/nights, and paid an additional $428 for 2 extra nights and they gave us 1 more night free, so we booked our trip for July 26—August 03, 2023 and paid a total of $1,027 for 9-Days/8-Nights.
We met all their requirements and fully complied with all written Terms and Conditions as set forth by Vacation VIP and the resort(s). We attended the “fun & friendly, no-obligation 2 hour preview of the resort” while in Puerto Vallarta on July 27, 2023 which actually lasted for nearly 8 HOURS (not the 2 hours that was promised-we left our hotel at 8am and did not return until after 6pm). We actually had thought we were going to buy into the resort ownership/investment plan/timeshare at one point, but they could not work out the details exactly like the first couple of salesmen presented to us. In the beginning we were only going to pay $100 per month for 6 months, but by the end, they wanted us to pay them $1,400 on the spot. It’s kind of interesting because at the beginning, they assured us that this was not a typical timeshare presentation where they “run salesman after salesman at you” until you give in and buy it. They assured us they do not do business that way, however after 8 different salesmen, saleswomen, and “managers” came into the room (one right after the other with no breaks) to try to get us to pay many various amounts of money, they finally gave up. The last guy in the ring, rudely yelled at his associates to “get them a cab out of here!” after we said NO for the umpteenth time.
So, problem #1 is that we wasted an entire day of our limited vacation when it was supposed to be ONLY a 2-hour “fun & friendly” commitment. We met and honored their Terms and Conditions, why didn’t they? My time is just as valuable as theirs; we each only get 24hrs in a day.
After our vacation ended and we returned home on August 3, 2023 we attempted to contact them about how to redeem the “Bonus” vacation to Cancun that was paid for with the original $599 advertisement. After several attempts to get information from Vacation VIP, they finally referred us to a website called RESPUSH.NET to get the bonus vacation to Cancun we have already paid for. After emailing and calling them to try and figure out how the bonus vacation redemption process works they are telling me that I now have to pay an additional “resort fee” of $99--$149 to redeem the vacation to Cancun that was a “free bonus”. I don’t quite understand why Vacation VIP doesn’t take care of this, but perhaps their business is to re-sell me to the RESPUSH company or somehow fulfill their original obligation in some other way.
So, this is problem #2, according to the original advert, I only had to pay $599 TOTAL per couple to receive the Puerto Vallarta AND Cancun vacations of 6-Days/5-Nights each. The advert is CLEAR; I can send you the screenshots that clearly show the ONLY TOTAL of $599 was required to receive both vacations. You can clearly see that there are no additional “fees” or payments of ANY KIND listed in the advertisement besides the original $599 price. There are additional screenshots that show the Cancun resort (Villa Del Palmar) package and the all-inclusive amenities it includes but does NOT list any additional fees of any kind. FYI, “only” means that’s all you pay! No hidden fees.
I was VERY skeptical about this advertisement when my wife showed it to me, so we were very careful to take many screenshots of all the information presented before paying the $599, so rest assured, we missed no “fine print”.
I am hoping to get a quick response to these issues from Vacation VIP or I will proceed to file a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
Sincerely,
Matthew

Booking is a trap.. would rate 0 star
I called the booking office twice and understood that there are so many hidden conditions. Me and my friend brought the vouchers to spend time together. There is no restrictions on buying vouchers but when we are booking the room we are told you can’t book on the same weekend. Or else I need to upgrade my room to 2 BH villa for ~$400 which is way to make money. I understood telling truth become issue here.. If I could have told I am travelling alone, no way you would have find who is my friend. 10 times asking same question on The call to make it scary that if I will go for booking it will cause lot of issues. I want my money back.
Recommendation: Would not recommend to buy this.
I paid for the vacation Friday July 30th,21 I was promised to receive an email with the link the next day
I paid for the vacation Friday July 30th,21 I was promised to receive an email with the link the next day. The next day I called after 3 o clock and they said they had issues with the system. I decide to cancel the transaction on July 31st they promise me again to send me an email with the confirmation of the cancellation and refund. I called back and they only said it has been cancelled. I called more than 7 times! On 8/9 I called to speak with Jonathan D. Because he has been in charge of my case since day 1. He wasn't available for me but he has someone telling me that I will receive the email with the confirmation. I waited for the 10th business day to receive the refund and NOTHING ! I went to my bank to make sure there was not a pending transaction of devolution or anything pending fromVRC nothing showed pending. I called back today which is the 16th day after I process the initial cancellation. I'm still on the phone with them Jonathan doesn't even has the decency to speak with me.He just approved another email that says there is a cancelation processed today which means there will be another 10 business days to wait. SCAM SCAM SCAM
I just booked a 3 day 3 night vacation with Joshua ***, and I am very pleased with the service he provided. The instructions were explained clearly and in a pleasant manner. I had zero questions or complaints. My family and I look forward to our vacation in April!
I just confirmed our vacation to Gatlinburg. I have nothing but great things to say about the booking process I have had with VIP. Everyone has been courteous and professional. I would definitely recommend them. Looking forward to a great getaway!
Jacob was amazing. He was professional and personable. We just hope our vacation experience is as great as our interaction with Jacob. God bless you all.
I booked a 4 night 3 day stay in Las Vegas with Roxy. She was very thorough about the pricing and what to expect. After reading some of the complaints I just hope our trip goes smoothly. Looking forward to my getaway. Thank you Roxy for all your help. It's hard to leave a star rating when you have not even been on your vacation but Roxy was a 5

Privilege Pass 5 Days/4 Nights
I was very excited about the package, the trip, the resort etc and the agent was helpfuI when got the package in 2021 and due to the Pandemic and restrictions of traveling out of the country, I was not able to travel and after numerous calls I finally got an agent and was told that I would need to pay for an extension $164 for up to 1 year, which was over an above what I previously paid when I got the trip.
I have called and left messages and no returned calls. 2/21/22 I finally got a agent and was told that my trip cancelled on 2/18/22 and that it was only 6 months, I advised that I had up to a year, and he stated, I was to call by 2/18/22 and book out, up to a year. I advised this was not what was told and I wanted my trip or refund and again...someone would have to get back with me. I asked to be transferred as I had been on hold 30 minutes and now would need to wait until someone calls back...who originally sold me the extension or agent.
It is now 3/2/22 and no calls received and today, on hold 24 min and no answer.
My resolution-Honor my trip that was paid for as well as the extension for 1 year or refund.

He was very nice and helpful. He helped me in a timely manner.
Amber was very thorough and professional. I really did not know what questions to ask. Was surprised that Westgate would not accept us because of income requirements, but she transferred us to a different resort. We are both retired and it surprises me that they would not accept us. I know what we are worth, but I would never share that info. Our little foray will be interesting. But Amber definitely did her job!
Very deceptive company. They sent me an offer. After I responded and put in my credit card information, they switched to a lesser offer. They did make it right by issuing a refund but I would not suggest anyone trust this company.
I have had a great experience with all staff but I was really happy with Daniel *** he was very helpful very courteous and polite.
It's a 0 star for me!
It's a 0 star for me! I saw an advertisement online about a vacation for Westgate Villas in Orlando for a 4 day, 3 night stay near Disney for $99.00. So of course, I'm skeptical, but I read the reviews, and based on the reviews, I decided to take the offer. As I started to book my dates, I saw that I was assigned a studio and wanted to upgrade to a 1 bedroom villa. In order to upgrade, I had to call. So I called and asked them how much would it be, the rep gave me a price, I said, Okay cool. She said, "I need to ask you a few qualification questions before booking. Are you single, married, or living with a partner?" I gave her the answer, and then she starts asking about my income, Like do I make over $75,000 a year..I told her no... She then proceeds to tell me, that I do not qualify, and she would create a case to provide a refund. 1. What the heck? Like you must DO NOT want money. This is disgusting to me. If I would've lied, there is no way in the hell, you would've verified my income. 2. Yes, PLEASE provide my REFUND because I refuse to book with a place where I feel I'm DISCRIMINATED against because I don't make a certain amount a year! 3. I'll book with a familiar Hotel. 4. THE END.

My experience with Tami to book the dates was great. Tami was nice, polite, and answered all my questions. I could not get the dates I wanted but we were able to book alternate dates. I just hope the vacation goes well. It seems full disclosure at the initial contact when money is paid is not a strong point for this company. I found out on the call with Tami that there are income requirements and that additional money is needed at check in-- $100 charge for incidentals and taxes which were not included in the amount paid initially.
Laura was very knowledgeable and professional with assisting me during the booking process for my Branson 3 night 4 day vacation. She told me I should receive an email 3-4 days confirming my reservation and gave me the customer service number should I run into any problems. She did not leave me wondering what I needed to do as she provided me all the information that I needed.
I have to say nowadays customer service is terrible everywhere. However I dealt with these people and everyone I talked to was nice and helpful. I ended up talking to Tionna *** who works in customer service she went over and above to help me out and meet my needs without me even asking. It was really nice to be able to talk to somebody and have them help you instead of work against you she went over and above and I really appreciate her help and how professional she was but yet how humans she was and how she treated me. I highly recommend dealing with this company and if you have any problems deal with her specifically
Laura was very thorough and helped me to change my reservation. She was professional and heard my concerns and made me feel taken care of. Thanks!
It may sound too good to be true
It may sound too good to be true... but this is for real! My husband and I purchased a trip to Mexico for 6nights through Vacation VIP for $250. I thought ok, if this is a scam.. I'm ok losing $250.. I mean, it would suck but at least its not $500 or a thousand... I checked their whole website, I read every word of their Terms and Conditions looking for the catch, but there was nothing fishy. So I thought ok... the accommodation is probably going to be shotty... but for $250, at least we get a beach vacay. Well... right before we were set to fly out hurricane Delta hit.. we couldn't fly out on our scheduled day, so I thought ok.. well... here it is... we're going to lose out on 2 days if accommodation... WRONG! Vacation VIP had amazing customer service who communicated with the Resort and shifted everything over one day! And when we got to the resort... WOW! It was better than 5 star accommodation! They even upgraded us! The grounds, the rooms, the restaurants and the pools were INCREDIBLE! I 100% recommend Vacation VIP and will ONLY be using them for future vacations! I am telling all my friends and family about this company because they more than exceeded my expectations! Highly recommend!

Hello again... to whom ever is reading this message, I greatfuly enjoyed my conversation with my agent which was a lady. (I forgot her name but it did start with a J...).. very much appreciated her as well as doing way more of her job then I expected...
This is borderline if not a Scam. The acceptance criteria is not mentioned until after you have purchased the initial vacation. The term No blackout Dates is not synonymous with Hotel Availability because they are a booking company not associated with any of the hotels. They attempt to book a date like I could have done on my own and the Hotel does not bother to contact me letting me know that the reservation was rejected had I been believing that it would have been could have made a trip there and been without a room and seriously unable to find one for those days without notice. Too many calculated omissions to really be concerned about the customer. All these negative complaints are warranted, and they should be investigated for fraud.
Booked my $88 4 day, 3 night trip to Branson online and received my certificate via email. Called and spoke with Cindy about confirming dates and she walked me through what was required from me and asked me some required questions. The process was quick and easy and she was very helpful with any questions I had, highly recommend her. Now I am currently waiting to see if I'm approved by the resort and will have to wait 3 business days to receive that email. I hope the rest of this is a smooth process and everything works out for the best. I will be back to review the rest of the process. Thanks for your help and time Cindy!
Luis was professional and helpful at setting up our Orlando deal. Apparently, one has to be a certain age for some of the locations. Now we will see how the stay goes.
This company has called me hundreds of times, they want me to pay up front for a vacation I have no details for, no insight of date availability
This company has called me hundreds of times, they want me to pay up front for a vacation I have no details for, no insight of date availability, and "promise" to send the collateral after the payment is exchanged. COULD THIS BE ANYMORE OF A SCAM?! I expressed my concern with giving them my card information without an assurance beyond their word alone that A.) They're a credible business, B.) That I would even see what they're promising, or C.) even get my money back if unsatisfied as they claimed I would--- But I'm just supposed to "trust" them. The sales person on the line pushed back on my concerns rather than validating them or offering assurance, saying (direct quote mind you) "NAH- what you gonna do is ..." I hung up before listening to the rest of his statement. I'm a sales rep myself... I get it... it's a grind.. but THIS is not the way to establish or build trust, and I feel like they are preying on gullible people. I'm not even entirely convinced these four and five star reviews are legit. Sounds like employees coming on here to toot their own horns. PLEASE people- be smarter than this. There are so many GOOD and CREDIBLE vacation companies out there that will provide you collateral before asking you to trust them and hand over your credit card. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM!

If I could give Zero stars, I would!
If I could give Zero stars, I would! This business handles people in deceptive ways. My sister got a "great deal" with them for a destination wedding for Cancun. The travel agent named Yolanda told the guests that we had till February 17 to pay our $100 deposit. So I call by February 15 to make the deposit. She tells me that the resort fees have changed and now we will pay $100 PER Night vs the $167 FOR THE WEEK. I didn't want to book so she calls me back, a couple hrs. Later and says now it's $200 per week. Ok fine, I booked the room that day. I then get a call February 18. They say now we have to pay for the whole week all upfront or else we can't get a room upgrade. Which is why I had made the deposit. Mind you they told on February 15 that I could make payments till the wedding date. Which is in May. So of course I was disappointed because I didn't have all the money at once. So I had to cancel. I asked if I could get my deposit back and they said we will see. Since you have "24 hrs" to cancel in order to get your deposit back. If i would have known that we had to pay everything at once, i would have never made the deposit. How convenient they called me after the 24 hrs to let me know i needed to now pay for everything at once. If I would have known from the very beginning that this is how they handle business. I would have never made business with them. Do not trust their word, they will change it on you.

Vacation VIP, LLC is a dishonorable, sleazy company
Vacation VIP, LLC is a dishonorable, sleazy company. I understand prices are subject to change, however, the buy it now pressure is insane. I called yesterday and was quoted a price, roughly the same price I had been quoted multiple times prior, including from their management. They purport to record all phone calls, to which I invited them to listen to what was promised me. They wouldn't, and again, came back with the prices can change. Today, I called and got a higher price than yesterday. The sales person, as they often do, says they will talk to their manager and see what they can do. The first person I talked to said they would waive the holiday fee completely, the second person I talked to today said they could wave half, only to have their manager, George, pull that from the table completely, the price from yesterday has gone up $300-$400, and more than $200 from a call I had less than an hour earlier. I've tried calling back, but they have blocked my cell number. They deny this, but when I tried calling from other lines I was able to get through without issue. The sales staff is friendly until you try to resolve an issue or try to hold them to what they promised you. This company has not acted ethically with regards to my experience and has not followed through with what they say they will do. If you ask too many questions or see if they will honor their commitments, the block you. Approach with caution.

I bought a vacation deal back in April , I was informed that I could use it in any Vidanta Resorts in Mexico
I bought a vacation deal back in April , I was informed that I could use it in any Vidanta Resorts in Mexico. On September 1st I booked and got a confirmation code for The Grand Mayan Resort in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. On September 29th I received another confirmation for the same days but in a complete different city and state. My flight tickets have been purchased since I originally booked the dates in Puerto Vallarta. I attempted to call and talk to a supervisor numerous times and finally Andrew Matos who is a customer service agent told me nothing can be done except to cancel the trip and I could use it any other time before April . They had no regards for the expenses I have already spent on, the time that I have taken from work. I planned this trip to celebrate my 38th birthday and the beginning of a new path in life but Vacationvip have turned the excitement into a nightmare. It is also important to mention that I contacted the Grand Mayan Resort myself and I was informed that vationvip made all the changes without ever letting me know, the only thing both The Grand Mayan and vacationvip can agree on is they keep telling me that Puerto Vallarta is closed because of covid-19 but I find it odd that the other resorts are up and open for business. Do not buy and vacation deals with this sorry and unprofessional business, they're customer service is mediocre at best. Beyond disappointed in the way this people conduct a business.

This company employees / partners with deceptive Third Party Companies such as Take a Break Travel with whom I booked my package with. Everything all said "Vacation VIP" and in tiny writing "Take A Break". I booked a 5 night/4 day trip to stay at the brand new Margaritaville Orlando Resort. I'm finally vaccinated, ready to travel and after requesting my dates I was told to hang tight and wait for a text that would come saying my dates were verified and a $99 refundable deposit would be required. All part of a timeshare presentation package. I called today after getting an "urgent" text to call and I got this text twice today, after calling "Take A Break" (on hold now) five times. I was provided a second option of getting my dates via GOCRV.com for the same price I already paid for now 7 days/6nights. The whole thing is RED FLAGS all over my head but I asked if I could get the link to see if it was available and that I wanted the option to still reschedule my original if it didn't work out. NOW on hold for 21 minutes - I've asked to refund my money and / or get rid of the certifcate and just give me my old options back. BAIT AND SWITCH. DECEPTION. And when I phoned VacationVIP they told me they couldn't do ANYTHING! When I called Margaritaville they said they couldn't do anything either. I'm shocked at how many companies will associate with TRASH! All of you should be ashamed of yourselves and someone needs to issue me a damn refund ASAP!

This company advertises all over facebook
This company advertises all over facebook. I clicked on the link to plan my vacation. The link wanted me to sign up for a membership to get the deal. I saw there was a free trial so thought I'll try the free trial and if I like it see how it goes. I signed up and gave them my credit card info. $10 a month after free trial. Same day I noticed the deals were not great and I wouldn't be using them. I went to login and cancel the membership. I could not login. It kept telling me my password was wrong! I hit forgot password. Brought me back to the login page. I found in the contact is section a forgot password button so I tried that one. It brought me to a plane to put a new password. I did and I was told it didn't work and try again later. Almost a week later it still isn't working. I called them and was told it was for sales and someone would have to get back to me. 2 day's with no call back. I called another number I found. Same response. 2 days later still nothing. They posted how real and awesome their deal was on a post someone shared with me. I replied with my problem. No response still. I sent my problem again on another post. The my then instead of getting back to me deleted my responses and blocked me from making comments! This company has my card information with no intention on not charging it although I have mare it clear in numerous locations I want to cancel! I will be back if my card gets charged! I do not want anyone else to fall for this companies tactics!

I called a year ago to buy a package to Cancun, since I couldn't travel I asked for a change to one of the locations in the US
I called a year ago to buy a package to Cancun, since I couldn't travel I asked for a change to one of the locations in the US. The package was for a week and we paid an upgrade for a two bedroom suite. At first they said it was possible and sent me beautiful hotels in Lake Tahoe and said i could pick one, then they said that because I am a green card holder but not a Citizen, I couldn't access to those packages. I tried to transfer the package to a friend which normally was possible when I bought the package but they said they don't work with the Cancun Resort anymore. They said I could go to Orlando to Westgate resorts and that it was the only package I could exchange it for. I accepted without knowing that this package is only for 3 nights and a Studio and no offense but the Resort doesn't compare to the one in Cancun! I opened the email after I hung up and there it was! I called many many times and was told I had to speak to customer service. Never got a call back! I finally called AGAIN and talked to a lady who assures I was aware that the new packet is for 3 nights instead if six and a studio instead a 2 bedroom suite! I am crazy? I asked her to listen to the recording and prove that I was not informed of this! She said she would but that she would not be able to share it with me. I told her this is deceptive marketing and lying to your customers. She said she would email and or call me back! I am still waiting. I just want my money back because this has been a horrible experience.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!
SCAM SCAM SCAM! This company had a promo stating 3 days 4 nights at Westgate for healthcare workers. I have worked through the entire pandemic and paid the 99.00 for the vacation for my family. First they said since we are a family of 5 we would have to upgrade our room and it would be 236.00 more. Fine. Agreed to that. And then they said I did not qualify because I was not of the age of 30 and make $60,000 annually. So they said they would refund me the money. 10 minutes later I received a call back from Stephanie ( the managers wife) and was told that they could NOT refund me the money on the card that I paid for initially. They needed a secondary card. I did not feel comfortable with this because it already sounds like a scam and I did not want to give them any more access to my money. She was incredibly rude once I started asking questions as to why she couldn't refund me to my original card. I asked to speak to a manager, and never received a call back. This was 05/03. Today, 05/11, I called again, requesting my money for the second time. And the man said that a refund was issued on 05/03. I have yet to receive it and I have been told today, that it could take up to 7-10 business days. I was not told that a refund was even being issued! I just want my money back, and this has been a terrible experience since the start. I was fine being rejected for the vacation, but not returning my money is where I am having an issue. This place is a scam and take your money somewhere else, because they will not give it back.

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!
THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! This company is advertising a 3day/2night stay in Myrtle Beach for $88 for 4 people. I almost reserved it online but, I called the number just to be sure about the 'terms and conditions." The 'terms and conditions' say, among other things, that if you are a single person who makes $60,000 per year you qualify for this vacation offer. I decided to verify that I qualified by calling the number listed. I was originally told that I did qualify as a single person who makes $62,000 per year, and that if I booked this offer online, I wouldn't have to pay a $14.95 processing fees. So I was being encouraged not to book with the sales person but to book online. When I told her I didn't mind paying the $14.95 so as not to have to call back, she started to process my payment. As I was giving the information to pay for the reservation, the sales person then stated that I had to make $75,000 per year to reserve the offer as a single person. I asked her what would have happened if I had booked this offer online using the terms and conditions that are stated in the online offer? She told me that if I had booked the offer and I didn't qualify, I would have to pay up to $300 per night. This is must definitely a scam! You can't list one qualification onlibe and then require another after someone has already paid their money, ESPECIALLY since if they book and don't stay or, if they book and don't qualify, they will be charged $300 per night, plus fees and taxes because they don't qualify with some other requirements that are not listed under their terms and conditions. DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE PEOPLE!

Last year around mid march I had booked a $99 promo they had offered online at *** in Orlando, Fl through VIP Vacation
Last year around mid march I had booked a $99 promo they had offered online at *** in Orlando, Fl through VIP Vacation. I was told the certificate was good until end of July . I called in April to book a 3 night stay for Middle of June . For an additional $200 they had also offered me an upgrade to stay in a one bedroom suite with 2 extra days. I told the representative that I'm not sure if these dates would work but I wanted to tentatively book something and then speak to my husband because I knew the availability for dates were filling up fast The representative I spoke to also told me that for $39.00 if I book this trip insurance - I would be able to get a full refund for my stay minus the $39.00 , if for some reason we couldn't make the reservation. Approx a wk and half later I had called and spoke to someone else and asked to cancel my dates and get a refund because because my husband wasn't able to get off of work for those dates. I was told that my reservation was non- refundable even though I received the trip insurance. I told them I wouldn't even mind eating the original $99 fee but if I could just receive a refund for the $419 upgrade fee minus $39 insurance fee. I was still told I cannot receive a refund but that I could cancel my dates and they would extend for another year. I don't want to extend for another year. I want my money back.. Especially if I decide later on that I don't want the upgrade for the bigger suite. Upon my initial call to make my reservation, I was told multiple times that as long as I had added the $39 insurance fee , it would cover any cancelations as long as it was within a certain time frame. I called in April to cancel a middle of June reservation. I am still waiting to hear back from a Manger to receive a refund. I would have never called to book dates and upgrade if there wasn't a chance I would be able to get a refund. I would have just kept the initial $99 studio bedroom for 3 nights and 4 days. I hate being lied to. This is ridiculous! I will never be doing business with them again and I will continue to fight to receive my money back. They will have no problem filling these dates . I don't understand why they pushed to book trip insurance if I can't use it!

TERRIBLE COMPANY AND VERY RUDE RESERVATION MANAGER
TERRIBLE COMPANY AND VERY RUDE RESERVATION MANAGER. I came across an ad on *** for a getaway to Orlando Fl for 4days and 3 nights, for up to 4 people, 2 kids under the age of 12 and 2 adults for $99. I paid the $99 and was informed to call a number to make and confirm reservation dates. I called on a Tuesday I believe and made reservations for June [protected]. I received an email a day later stating my reservation dates were confirmed. I then noticed that those dates I had chosen wasn't going to work due to something coming up so I called back on Thursday of that same week to change my dates. I spoke with what I thought was a nice gentlemen. I informed him that I would like to upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite for an extra $264.95 and he he advised that he was able to change my dates to June 21- June 24. I went ahead and paid the up charge for a bigger room and for different dates. I was advised that my dates were available and everything was sent over to the Resort. That was Thursday when I changed the dates. By Monday of the next week I still haven't received a confirmation email with the new dates like I did the first time I made reservations which scared me. So I reached out to Vacation VIP to confirm my new reservation dates. I then was advised that the new dates were in Vacation VIP s system but the resort hasn't confirmed yet. The representative advised me that the manager will reach out to the resort to check booking confirmation and get back to me. Now at this point I was so frustrated due to the fact that I had booked my flights for the new reservation dates being that the nice gentlemen I spoke with claimed everything was confirmed and he sent over all the new and correct info to the resort Thursday when we spoke. He even asked me to leave good feedback with the Complaintsboard.com for him and the company. Someone got back to me stating that the resort rejected those dates. So as I'm speaking with Vacation Vip to figure out what exactly is going on here and how there aren't any rooms when I was advised that I had taken the last room for the new dates they were being very nonchalant about the incident. I was then transferred to the reservations manager and oh boy he didn't apologize for the inconvenience nor was he concerned or showed that he cared about his customer or the incident at hand. He was very rude and was groaning in the phone. His tone of voice was very unpleasant. He stated there isn't anything he can do and stated he needed to transfer me to customer service. I then sat on the phone with customer service for about an hour and 10 minutes just for her to say that her reservations manager stated they now don't have any rooms available until August . Can you say pissed?! I'm not sure if they were just telling me that or if it was the truth but it doesn't make sense how all the rooms for a studio room, a one bedroom suite, and a two bedroom suite are all booked for each day until August that fast lol. Well after wasting time with the rep she then stated that she can offer a partial refund and then transfer me to a new reservation manager. She also advised that it will be a new manager and not the one I spoke to earlier who was being very rude. Once she transferred me I was speaking with the same manager that I had spoke to earlier who had transferred me to her in the first place. Then I just asked him for a full refund and he stated he can put in a request doe customer service to get back to me within 24-48 hours just to put in a request for a full refund. Mind you he transferred me to customer service earlier in the call and then customer service transferred me back to him. The manager then had me on hold for over another hour and never got back on the phone or transferred me. I then I had to call back in on another number to put in a request for a full refund while still on hold on my phone waiting for the manager to transfer me. This company is a joke once they take your money. I'm not saying just because I had a bad experience that someone else will. But it's not worth the headache just go through the actual company or find another company that communicates better

I've used VacationVip in the past and I agree with others, you do have to make sure you are aware of the fine print carefully for discreet deposits and fees. My experience before wasn't terrible though, I called and made a reservation using my certificate, went through the booking process and was ready to head off. Last year my husband and I decided we'll give it a try again when I seen the Orlando package, so we purchased that in hopes to bring some type of brightness back after my birthday and a few other events were ruined by Covid and quarantine policies. First time I tried to call and book our trip, the dates we requested were unavailable and considering we had other plans we decided to just book for our daughter's birthday, January 15th. New Year arrives and I'm getting ready to go back through my e-mail to makes sure I have everything squared away and I cannot find my confirmation e-mail. So I head on over to the site to check out my account cause I know I can find the information in my trips, and even if I never confirmed it, I knew it would be under my certificates. Nothing, anywhere, no trace of that package under my account. I contact them to figure out what is going on and where my trip is and I spoke with Andrea, she was attentive and tried to do what she could to figure out exactly what was going on. She took basic information and passed that on to her manager after she didn't see anything on her end either. She called me back by the following day and explained my reservation did exist but there was another client with my name that had been booked under mine, which still confuses me a bit because I would have thought the resort would've matched up more information than just name. Nevertheless, they fixed the issue and my package was ready to be booked again, she actually said someone would reach out to me from reservations to get that going. I never received it so maybe there was a connection issue. I called a few times to different lines and I finally reached a Dario in reservations. I've never had such a hard time trying to talk to someone who was supposed to be helping me. He consistently cut me off the entire conversation, falsely told me what he couldn't and wasn't allowed to do and I'm pretty sure by the absence of sound from him at one point that he put me on hold without asking. I had asked to speak with a supervisor and he told me he couldn't transfer me. He asked me if there was anything else he could help me with, because I couldn't hold up the line aggravating the agents. Towards the end of the call he proceeds to say I'm new with the company and I'm not allowed and I don't know how to do that, contradicting earlier statements. The call was horrible, it left me partially angry and completely baffled. I called back a few times and even sent an e-mail, trying to Andrea again in hopes she could help me out. I couldn't reach her but I finally got a hold of someone one and her name was Janette, who happened to be the Customer Service Supervisor. Janette is just what her title says, she jumped right in and made sure that that was not my last impression of the company. She immediately apologized and took the time to hear me out, which by this point I know I was frustrated and all over the place, listen to what my original concern was and passed my information along to his direct Supervisor over in Reservations as well. The next morning I received a call from Janette, she had listened to my call with the booking agent. She apologized some more being that she agreed with my concerns about that call and agent, assuring me that's not what VacationVip stands for, which I had never had a major problem until that call. She and Andrew ***, Supervisor of Reservations, came together to make sure every concern of mine was taken care of and cared for. Andrew was just as apologetic to me and my situation, he assured me that agent, current agents and future agents would never treat customers like that and give them the confidence to know how to handle every possible situation with much more precaution and care. I honestly never expected the situation to be handled the way they did, they really made up for the inconvenience and inconsideration, I just wanted to fix the original mistake and made sure my new booking was there and confirmed 100%. Andrew got me re-booked, fee free, with a room upgrade and they gave us a credit to be used at the resort. They even refunded me the original certificate cost. They handled the situation how I hoped and more, they genuinely cared about what happened and what went wrong and where. Just taking those active steps to ensure future customers get everything they deserve from beginning to end is what it's about. So once again thank you so so much Andrea(CS), Janette(CS-SV) and Andrew ***(RES-SV) keep making your company proud!

We purchased a package from VacationVIP.com in January 2023 that included 1ea 6-day/5-night all-inclusive vacation to Puerto Vallarta PLUS a bonus (free) 6-day/5-night all-inclusive vacation to Villa Del Palmar in Cancun. The advertised cost was $599 TOTAL for both vacations with 1 single requirement to attend a timeshare presentation in Puerto Vallarta. We...
Read full review of Vacation VIPPackage - being charged when told we would not
We purchased a package for Gatlinburg Westgate Resorts. We were booked at the River Terrace Resort. Very nice staff but the resort was extremely old and dated. We had issues at the timeshare tour. We tried to book the next day but we’re told we were unable too. Lack of professionalism by the Westgate staff, especially the manager on duty, Joseph. Lack of communication on his end. We tried to talk with him about our issue. He then called security on us to escort us out of the resort. That was quite comical. We called Westgate corporate to explain the incident. We were then called by vacation VIP and were told we needed to pay the $300 disqualification fee or exit the resort. We choose to exit the resort and we’re still charged the $300 fee after being told we would not. They will not refund the charge. Denied that we were told this even though the phone call was recorded. They would not allow me to hear the phone call to verify. They claim that did not happen in the phone call, but we were clearly told if we left the resort we would not be charged. We also purchased an extra night for $125, they will not refund that as well even though we did not stay that evening. Do not book with Vacation VIP. Horrible, horrible experience.

In the flyer we reresponded to, there were no age limitations

I purchased a vacation package from Vacation Vip over 1 yr ago
I purchased a vacation package from Vacation Vip over 1 yr ago. I have been trying to schedule my family vacation for the month of January since Aug of 2021. The first couple of times when I called in Aug I was told the resort did not have the days available for the new year and to call back. I called back about two more time and was told the same thing. I called again on Oct 15 trying to book the dates and it still was not done. I spoke to a supervisor who told me he booked my dates were and someone would call me within48-72 hrs to confirm. I never received a call. I waited 12 days and called back to find out that my reservations were never made and was told the resort is not booking for those days anymore. I requested a refund because I was tired of going back and forward and with everyone. They told me I could not get a refund and wanted me to except the dates they wanted to give me. I requested to speak with a supervisor again, I was then told they were going to refund me some of my money but keep $150. I could use it as a credit. I do not want a credit with vacation vip I just want to get my other $150.

I was given my certificate, booked both vacations well in advance and was told my second vacation was not valid for what was purchased and I placed a deposit for. I need all monies refunded from this fraud or to have them all upheld.
I booked 2 packages with Vacation VIP and they asked me to book a date with hotel and why called up, I was let know that this offer is applicable only for US citizen and not for non immigrants then I asked to cancel because in the ad it was not mentioned , while canceling they told we will give only partial refund in case of partial refund I will loose nearly 100$ , instead they insisted to take one more offer but then have to pay other non refundable deposit. Without any interest I had no option. But this is not the case with my friends, enquired more they told and got a full refund. Now I asked for full refund they're telling they cannot do anything as I accepted the other offer. I need my money back
Purchase Date 09/14/2022 Hello, i was looking at the Margaritaville cruise/fort Lauderdale hotel for $99. I put in my information and card details thinking they would then give me a list of dates to choose from however it placed an order and charged my credit card the $99. I would like a refund please.
I have booked a package to*** Resort with Vacation VIP
I have booked a package to*** Resort with Vacation VIP. There was a staff claiming to be from the resort and would like to confirm my booking. She asked a bunch of personal questions and said there would be a presentation I need to attend to which I'm fine with it. But then when she heard I said I'm 29 and the line was suddenly disconnected for some reason. I have tried to wait and call back but in vein. Then I tried to call the resort but they said they didn't call me and they didn't have my record and I should check with Vacation VIP. I kept calling Vacation VIP hotline but all went to mailbox. I eventually found out I am actually not eligible for the promotion as I'm under 35 and am not citizens or permanent residents in Canada (I'm a professional expat working in CA). I suspect thats why my line was terminated and I couldn't make any reservation. But they didn't tell me and check my eligibility when I book the package. And there was no one follow up for customer service. I suspect this is a shell company and a scam. Since I'm not eligible and can't make any contact with Vacation VIP. I demand a full refund.

Someone call me from Vacation VIP for a 4-day and 3 nights vacation in Las Vegas, he gave a pitch that sounds attractive, and I fell for it and paid $99 for the accommodation with the consent to assist in a 120 minutes sales presentation, I agreed. When the time arrived for me to call for my reservation, I called to set up the reservation and they gave me August 13 to August 16, 2022, I agreed with the itinerary. Today July 27, 2022, I called to confirm my reservation, a lady tells me because I'm a realtor they cancel my reservation, I never received any letter or email of such, she was so arrogant and told me they sent me a notice which I never received. when I ask for a refund, she says, they can't refund me since I purchased the package in 2020, I said that's not my problem, and you guys decided to cancel my reservation and not even let me know, now I need my money back, they refused. This company is a scam and people should not fall for this scam, all they are doing is still people's money.
Booked a weekend with them to take a tour for the resort. Paid $59.00 up front. They told me after some questions I did not meet their criteria. I asked for them to refund my money. They assured me they would. It's been over a month and still have not received my money. Please help!
I paid $99 for a 4 day 3 night vacation to orlando Florida with a $100 Visa gift card which said I had 18 months to use. I called today to schedule our vacation for next week to he told it expired in march which would have only been 12 months after my purchase date. I am very upset if it says I have 18 months to use when I purchase I should have the whole 18 months to schedule my vacation! I have had alot happen since purchase and didn't know exactly when I would be able to make it to florida and now that my family can we cant even go because of the fact they said it expired in less than 18 months
I purchased a package on December 23rd in the late afternoon
I purchased a package on December 23rd in the late afternoon. I called for a refund on December 28th(1 business day later) and they said "No"(24hrs) I purchased a package for 4 nights/5 days at the Mayan Palace Resort in Cancun on the afternoon of 12/23. After the holiday I researched the resort more and found that the costs associated with staying there would be far too expensive (i.e. $70/person to go to the water park), plus taxes, food, transportation back to airport, so the deal no longer became a deal. I called Monday morning 12/28, which after the holiday was 1 business day later. They refused to refund the package as you only have 24 hours to cancel. I spoke with a representative (did not book online) and there was no info regarding 24 hours. Any resort in the world would not refuse to cancel and refund a reservation made less than a week ago. This is such a scam. The customer service represenative was not helpful. When I asked to talk to someone who could refund me she told me she was the one who made the decision but clearly she has no ethical business practices as she was unwilling to cancel/refund after 1 business day.

I was told by VacationVIP that I would get a 1 bedroom suite if I paid a additional $125.00 but when I got to the resort I was informed there were none available. Call VacationVIP for my money back and was told there was nothing they could do. Total rip-off.
Hello, On April 21st 2022 my wife and I scheduled a two day /three night stay at a specific property in Gatlinburg TN, shortly after and after being charged $59.00 on that date the property was no longer available and a lesser (poorly rated) property was offered and immediately began to attempt to cancellation through the process offered by VIP vacations the customer service from this point on has been next to non-existent not answering emails phone calls regarding our cancellation if you want to answer this or you read it please

I paid $299 for my vacation package and it was to be all inclusive, he told me upfront (and we recorded this but they won't let me relisting to the recording because they know they're wrong) that there was a $150 resort fee plus some taxes so the total was $526. I agreed and they charged my card. He also told me I had free trip insurance and if I wanted to cancel as long as I did so before the resort called to finalize my trip I could since he could not promise those dates I picked were solid. They called the next day the days I picked were not available but they would not reimburse me. SO we decided to go on this Labor day. well now they are calling me asking for the resort fee of $150 I told them I already paid it, and they will not pick me up at the airport unless I pay it again, I said I would get my own transportation they said they will not let me check-in. OMG I need to pay them or not go and I have flights booked. I have my original offer I applied to and .my receipt, and now another receipt. Not to mention I just called the resort about booking for snorkeling and things and was told I needed to pay extra if I wanted to do anything, you even need to pay to lay on the beach? What happened to all inclusive?

I mistakenly bought a package ($99) with VacationVIP.com on Saturday May-21-2022, Tracking: *** Called immediately to try to cancel/refund this and nobody answered me on Saturday nor on Sunday May-22-2022. Finally I communicated to an agent (Sharon) today Monday May-23-2022, and Vacation VIP declined to reverse this transaction and denied me issuing a refund. Please consider this since I didn't mean to buy this package and have been trying to reach out to you since the same day this happened on weekend, to solve this before disputing this charge directly with Credit Card bank. Thanks!
I purchased a vacation package from this company with the understanding I had 18 mths to use. I have made 3 calls to try to schedule. I spoke to Eric 2 times and he told me that the resort had an inventory problem and they could no fulfill my request. The 3rd person took my information to verify and never came back on the line. Very scammy to me. I paid for a service I expect to receive not get run around.
June 10th I purchased a Branson trip for 88.00 and called to schedule this for me and my daughter. Was told it was only for married couples between the age of 28-72. So I said cancel this if I have to take my husband. They cancelled and the transferred me to get a refund and the person I talked to would not grieve ma a refund they wanted to give me a voucher to us within 18 months. I explained to them that if this was for a married couple that this would not work since my husband is unable to travel. They still refuse to give me a refund.

On April 10th 2022, I purchased a 4day/3night stay at the Westgate Orlando Resort online, it was a flash sale link for $99, through VacationVIP.com I received an email receipt and a certificate in the mail confirming my package was purchased, the website said I had 6 months to call their office to book the dates. It advertised they would also give me $100 towards purchase of theme park tickets. After purchasing, I tried calling several time over the past few weeks, sent an email and even their 'contact me' section on their website. Today, May 5th, 2022, was the first day I got someone on the phone; the rep said my vacation package was rejected based on my income and that I was a single female..? I never provided my annual income on the website. They claimed they had notes I spoke to someone previously, stating my income was under $30k annually...that is a lie, I make double that, plus I did not speak to anyone there before this morning; LIES. They did not advertise anything of having to complete/attend a tour, as a stipulation for this vacation package either; FALSE ADERTISEMENT! They stated my $99 will be refunded. However, I am livid that I purchased a vacation package under false pretenses and even scheduled my vacation time in December, expecting that this was a legit deal. I have included the certificate I received in the mail.

We purchased a pass back on 2019 which had an expiration day of 2020 with COVID and stuff we ended up booking initially for late sept 2021 and did a bunch of upgrades to our stay. Due to COVID we were unable to go but thankfully had purchased a protection plan. When we attempted to reschedule we were told no more dates available for the year so they extended the date because they could accommodate us. When we tried to rebook the rep that was handling. Our case was let go and nobody ever advised us of this. When trying to contact you they hold times are quite long. When we finally reach a rep to book our vaction we were told we couldn't because the certificate was expired now. Mind you last time we tried they didn't have available dates and we have spent over 700$ in upgrades. When I speaking to customer service they advised out of luck and the only thing they can do is offer us a new promotion with no credits or anything. Extremely disappointed at this as the only reason we had to wait to reschedule was the lack of dates and then the lack of response from the rep that was no longer with the company. Not only that the pass says this is valid for a year "Your Privilege Pass is valid for one (1) year from the day you received it " having received that on aug 18 2021 this should have been valid for a whole year not the February date they claim.

Hi my name is***, long story short I booked with you and had booked with another company also
Hi my name is***, long story short I booked with you and had booked with another company also. I did not know that I could not book 2 different companies that had timeshare presentations. After finding this out I have tried to cancel my reservation with VacationVIP and have not had anyone that could help me. I was told to speak with customer service, reservations, and Sunset resorts. They have told me that they have emailed someone that can get me my refund and it has been over a month and I have not heard or received an email or phone call form anyone. This is not how I should be treated for an honest mistake. I was just trying to extend our anniversary trip. I would have liked to travel March [protected]. But that is not possible now is what I was told. I was told the was told it would take up to 15 days for a refund after speaking with customer service on 12/10. I did not receive a call 12/13 like I was told I would about my cancellation and refund. I was also told that I may lose 5-10% of my refund. I don't think that is fair but at this point it is worth it to me. I have worked in customer service most of my life and never have I ever treated a customer this way. Please help me get my refund. I don't want to get the complaintsboard.com involved but that's the way it's headed.

I purchased a vacation from vacation VIP on 9/8 for $169.00 for a 3 night 4 day stay at the Strat Hotel
I purchased a vacation from vacation VIP on 9/8 for $169.00 for a 3 night 4 day stay at the Strat Hotel. The vacation also included $250 payment resort credit and had two tickets to Celestia. I have the email confirmation as well. The order number is #XXXXXXX. On February 18th 2022 I made a phone call to vacation VIP to book the dates for the vacation. The representative claimed that he could not find me in the system and once I forwarded the email confirmation to him he said that I purchased it through a third party. He gave me a phone number to the third party and when I called them it was still vacation VIP the same place that I had just got off the phone with. That representative could not find my information and was unable to help. I asked for the direct phone number from the first representative so I can call him back in case it didn't work out with the " 3rd party" phone number he gave me. I attempted to call the first representative on the supplied number and he did not give me a correct number to call him back at. It was the general number for Vacation VIP again. I also sent a email requesting a call back with no response. When I was on the phone with the representatives I requested to speak to a supervisor which I was denied both times. It seems like I was totally scammed and there is no real vacation package that I purchased. I would like my money back and they should be shut down.

I am filing a complaint against Vacation VIP for False advertisement
I am filing a complaint against Vacation VIP for False advertisement. I am filing a complaint against Vacation VIP for false advertisement. I purchased a vacation package on May 22. I did not lock in a date because I needed to check my availability. Well today when I went to make arrangements to book a date I was asked all these personal questions that was not asked before this company took my money. I did not realize that the fine print was on the receipt until today. That information should have been disclosed before I purchased the vacation package. It was then that I was informed that this was a timeshare. Information like this need to made available at the time of purchase to give people an opportunity to chose if they would like to purchase something under those conditions. I was so excited about the price of the package that I did not see the fine print until today. I am totally upset because this is false advertisement. If I did make S80,000/ annually I would not need to book here. I would just spend my money. What difference does it make whether I have a husband or if I am cohabiting with someone? These are discriminatory question and should not be the basis of someone going on a freaking vacation. This is ridiculous and I want my money back or the vacation that was promised BEFORE my money was debited from my card. I paid $199 for this package. I do not have $199 to just give away to someone. I want my money back now!

Misleading Advertising - Westgate Vacation Villas Resort by only 99 Dollars (Retail Sale is 495) Per Family for 4 Days (Due to Covid 19) - Flash Sale I made a reservation through a Flash Sale from Vacation VIP`s getaways.vacationvip.com last Saturday (July 18th) for 4 days (3 nights) at Westgate Restorts Orlando - Westgate Vacation Villas Family Getaway. Before I informed my Credit Card Information, I checked the screen - where a chronometer was showing Vacation VIP was holding my booking on the dates I`ve selected (From August 9th to August 12th) for 10 minutes. I finished to process payment before such deadline. By my surprise, as soon as I`ve compleeted my reservation, Te screen showed those dates I booked were NOT CONFIRMED, until I call Vacation VIP at [protected] and get a "verbal confirmation". It did not seem right to me, because I`ve completted the booking on the 10 minutes deadline for the dates I`ve selected. Even though, I called that number right away. A voice mail informed Vacation VIP offices were closed and I should call you just on working hours. I called again at 9:00 AM, on Monday (July 20th). However, the information on the voice mail - your offices remain closed is still there. I waited, to leave a message, however your voice mail is completely full. I pressed 0 for the operator and the line went down. I repeated all this procedure and it happened again. Obviously this company is dishonest. By the reasons I mentioned above, I`ll put payment on dispute.

I purchased a vacation package for 4 days/3nights at the Westgate Vacation Villas Resort & Spa in in Kissimmee, Florida for $99 on 6/27/22
I purchased a vacation package for 4 days/3nights at the Westgate Vacation Villas Resort & Spa in in Kissimmee, Florida for $99 on 6/27/22 through the link where Vacation vip put it in *** advertising. Then Vacationvip.com sent me an email stating that this payment is just a certificate not a guarantee for a pass to the above vacation site. And this certificate has a bunch of conditions and restrictions which are not appearing on the advertising page before you paid for it. The restrictions or conditions are like: in order to get a pass you should be prequalified by one of their agents by phone asking you a lot of questions ( like: income / age/ marriage status eta...) and then after being qualified you are able to make a reservation with their approval which it is up to them because you don't know which days are available, only by conversation with their agents no online reservation. Finally the trickiest point is that they set a conditions above all these things: you have to participate a sales conference or presentations(120 minutes). If you can't or don't go there, you will be fined additional $300. I talked with one of the agents on 6/27 by phone, and exchanged several messages from 6/27 to today. Through the phone call, the agent said I would receive a confirmation shortly. But I haven't received it yet. Through messages they always stated they would contacted me shortly but I didn't received any calls. I requested a cancellation through the exchanging messages. And I regretted that I tried to make a reservation with their agents because I felt the whole things is like a scam.

I purchased a 5-Day/4-Night Vacation at the Mayan Palace Resort in Mexico from VacationVIP *** on 12/20
I purchased a 5-Day/4-Night Vacation at the Mayan Palace Resort in Mexico from VacationVIP *** on 12/20. On December 13th I spoke to Ella O, she advised me that I would need to select dates for my vacation before the voucher expiration date to ensure I didn't lose my package. She advised me that I could change the reservation dates up to 7 days prior to. The dates selected essentially would serve as a place holder so that I didn't lose the package. I then updated my package and paid for a bigger unit to include more ppl. I called VacationVIP on 2/23/2022 to change my vacation dates. I was informed by the representative that a week prior to my calling the policy had changed and I would not be able to make changes to the reservation dates. He spoke with his manager and offered to change the package to a resort they had in the Dominican Republic as they had no other resorts that could accommodate the 2 bedroom unit I upgraded to. I requested to speak to a customer service rep as I wanted to see if anything else could be done in regards to the agreement I had and paid for initially. A CS rep returned my call the next day but stated he needed to escalate and another rep would call me back. Another representative called me that Friday, she confirmed the policy change after my agreement and said she would speak to her manager and give me a call back. She called me back on Monday the 28th of February, she said nothing could be done due to the voucher being expired. If I didn't travel on the dates I would not be refunded and she doesn't know why I was told I could have a resort change because I couldn't. I called back in hopes of speaking with a manager. My call remains unreturned.

On August 31 I signed up for a membership with VacationVIP
On August 31 I signed up for a membership with VacationVIP. At that time I was promised that if I continued my membership for a year, I would receive a complimentary trip to Mexico. During this month (August) I tried to log into my account to book a reservation. At that time, I was made aware that my membership was not active. I was not contacted about this at all so I called VacationVIP. Twice I was told someone would contact me back about my issue and I never received a call back. The third time I called in, I finally was able to speak to customer service who advised my payment for the month of July did not process so they downgraded my membership. No one contacted me about this at all or else I would have provided another form of payment or ask them to re-run my card. I then was placed on hold and ultimately was hung up on. I called back and asked to be transferred to customer service again, and was hung up on again. Finally, after calling back a third time, I was able to speak to a manager (Brianna) who told me that because my payment wasn't processed they are not able to go back retroactively to update my membership. I then advised I was never contacted about my membership cancelling or else I would have made a payment. It is mighty suspicious that my membership all of a sudden cancelled right before I qualified for a complimentary trip. This makes the organization seem fraudulent in its promises to customers. Next I was transferred to Brianna's manager, Susie who told me that her department could not charge for my membership, they can only cancel memberships. She also advised that there is an email that may have been sent to advise me of my payment not going through. I have not received anything and she was not able to provide proof. I need someone to rectify this, my membership and guarantee me of my complimentary trip. I will go to social media to also complain about the company so others do not have to deal with what I am going through.

I was supposed to get a $399 refund weeks ago and I have not received one
I was supposed to get a $399 refund weeks ago and I have not received one. I keep getting the run around. I purchased a trip on 8/17 and in the email it states I could stay at the Royal Beach Resort or the Ocean Spa Hotel but had to use it within 12 months. I called on 1/5/21to book and was that that I could not stay at the Royal Beach Resort because I had to use it by 10/24. This was not true according to the conformation email I received when I pre-paid on 8/17. I was asked to forward the email to Dominic C which I did. He explained (after I was on hold for 45 minutes) that the person that approves this was not available and I would get a call back by 5 PM. I did not get a call back so I called again on 1/6 and spoke with a Supervisor (another 2 hour process) named JR at Ext. 6484. I re-sent him the email from 8/17 and he told me the same thing as Dominic. JR called me back the next day 1/7 stating that his supervisor said that although he read the email it would cost them to have me stay where I wanted to and they offered me a full refund. By this time I was so distressed and not trusting of this company that I said yes to the refund and decided to use a travel agent for our trip to Mexico. I called yesterday 1/20 because I still do not have a refund. I called the Orlando office and it hung up after the second ring 20 times in 1 hr so I decided to see if I could get a hold of JR. The first person I spoke to had me on hold for about 47 minutes so I hung up. The second time I called I got JR on the phone and he said he would "check" and suck me on hold for 30 minutes. Dominick picked up and acted like JR was no where to be found but he could "help" me because he is the one that started the complaint. I was on the phone for a total of 1 hr 9 min and got "disconnected". I am not calling them anymore, I will be calling my credit card company today. My sister in law is an Attorney and I will be calling her to see what legal action I can take against this company. I just want my money back as they refused me the trip I purchased. I have the email but it is in 3 pages
