This involves both Sales Practice Issues and Advertisement Issues
This involves both Sales Practice Issues and Advertisement Issues. Vacation VIP is seriously misleading on their website and advertisements (fraud). This involves Discrimination Issues, Sales Practice Issues and Advertisement Issues. Vacation VIP is advertising a 4 day/ 3 night stay at The STRAT Hotel for $169 which includes a $250 voucher for use in the resort along with two free tickets to a show called Celestia which is not showing. This is a new ad knowingly offering something that is not showing. In addition to this... the website changes when you go through the booking. It leads you to believe that you're booking actual nights... but after purchase it shows as an OPEN RESERVATION and if you click on a very small and obscure link... you will see the rest of the story. By the way... you aren't given a contact number for reservations until AFTER you complete the purchase. So 'the rest of the story' is that your dates are not reserved... you need to be vetted before you can actually count on arriving to your destination which includes annual income statistics, etc. Here are a few... at least 28 years of age(or a couple with one at least 25 years old)... at least $50,000 gross annual income... carry an active credit card... full time students not eligible... etc, etc.(see attached). Here's an interesting quote showing their discriminatory practices: "This vacation package is valid for residents of the United States and Canada. Adult couples or singles must meet the following qualifications. If married or cohabiting, one traveler must be at least 25 years of age, must vacation and attend sales presentation with spouse/partner, be employed full time with a gross family income of $50,000 or retired, carry an active credit card, and write, understand, and speak English fluently. Cohabiting couples must have ID's that have the same address. Singles must be at least 28 years of age with a gross income of $50,000, carry an active credit card, and write, understand, and speak English fluently."(see attached). I'm booking a honeymoon trip... but my wife does not fluently speak English. Is this 'OFFER' not discriminatory? Speaking of offer.. I'm looking to book a hotel not go through a vetting process and sit through a presentation! This needs to be clearly stated on the advertisements related to this 'offer' otherwise it is misleading advertising and it is purposely misleading the public for profit. I feel like I'm in the 1800's with companies operating and masquerading around like this. You need to attend a several hour long presentation in order to qualify for the deal...(see attached). None of this is mentioned PRIOR TO THE PURCHASE. So you are looking at these details AFTER YOUR CARD IS DEBITED. I'm thankful that I didn't pay more than $169... but even this is maddening at this juncture in my honeymoon planning process. I want my money back immediately! Other completely false postings are concerning their hours of operation. I immediately called after my purchase because the confirmation page on the website gave a phone number and hours of operation. On November 30th I called at 6:34pm and 6:35pm EST(3:34pm and 3:35pm my time in CA) and they were closed. Their website says they close at 7pm EST(see attached). I woke up and called right at 7am this morning(November 31st)because their website stated that they were open from 10 to 2pm on Saturdays. You guessed it. Closed. I called multiple times this morning(7:03am, 7:14am, and 7:16am PST)... and then retraced and looked at all details in my purchase confirmation email which stated hours of operation from Monday to Friday closing at 6pm... and closed on Saturdays(see attached). There is an annoying countdown clock as well... it changes times as you progress making it seem as if you have only minutes left to seal the deal... when the deal has been the same existing deal for days. The clock actually speeds up rapidly when you advance, misleading the public(see attached). I am disgusted that companies like this can take people's money in such a dishonest fashion. Sincerely, Dr.

You will be forced to stay for 90 mins presentation trying to get you to be a timeshare membership with all BS about vacation and benefits of this membership. They say they do it because of new law about harassment targeting timeshare. In my opinion this thing about presentation is still an harassment and government needs to step in.
Caution! I got charged 399dls, I talked to one of your agents 6 hrs after the charge to cancel because the dates I had reserved were not available and she told me to dispute the charge, I would get my money back after 40 days,it’s been 3 months, I didn’t get my money back. I didn’t have my vacation ☹️☹️
We have tried to reach this company several times and just get hung up on. We have not yet received any information as to where to even go at this point. Our vacation is in less than a week and don’t have any information about where to go.
