Wow! They installed a fiberglas pool for me
Wow! They installed a fiberglas pool for me. I was very impressed with the owner/marketing manager/construction crew. I am very pleased, as this was my first experience ever with a pool. It is absolutely beautiful, and they did a bang up job on the concrete! I'm just waiting on our final walk through and pool training. Thank you!

Valley Pools did maintenance on my pool filter system
Valley Pools did maintenance on my pool filter system. They didn't fix it properly, so now it doesn't work. I hired them to change the sand in the filter system, but they didn't put the pipes back in the right way. As a result, water shoots out of the filter and floods the building. I've called them twice and complained in person twice in the last 6 weeks, but they haven't responded to any of my messages. Now my filter system doesn't work because of this issue.
We signed a contract in August for pool/spa installation to be started in April & completed in 6-8 weeks
We signed a contract in August for pool/spa installation to be started in April & completed in 6-8 weeks. After nearly 8 months it is still not complete. Sub-contractors do incomplete work & we receive a bill. No one from the pool company comes to check the sub-contractor's work. We contracted for a flush mount spa that was installed incorrectly & pointed out immediately. The PM insisted it was installed properly & later checked my contract and agreed it was not. As it was cheaper/less work to leave it raised, he offered to leave it raised & pay for the stone surround. We agreed just to move the process along, but it is NOT what we wanted. If the spillover is turned on when the pump goes off at night the spa empties out. This is especially creating issues as the weather cools & the freeze protection kicks in. The spa will turn on to keep the pipes from freezing & since it empties overnight, water sprays everywhere. Leaving the spillover turned off, to alleviate this issue, keeps the spa from operating with the rest of the filtration system. Our spa pump also leaks. These items have been "fixed" twice now. The handrail has not been installed for the pool and we don't have the pool cover. We see this as a safety concern for the elderly and small children in our family. There are cracks in the sidewalk in front of our house, from the gravel trucks, that still need to be repaired. The front and back yard still need to be leveled and cleaned. There is still gravel around some bushes (including a bush that the driver buried under gravel). The drain line in the cement around the pool still needs to be caulked. We have emailed, texted and called numerous times and are always told someone will be by in a day or so and it will be fixed. During this same time-frame we have watched several neighbors contract for, and have their pools completed, in the 6-8 week time frame by another local pool company. We are tired of this abysmal customer service.
Valley Pools has been a complete disappointment
Valley Pools has been a complete disappointment. I met with Ronnie Hughes to discuss installing a lap pool in my yard. He promised to deliver ahead of schedule, but that was far from the truth. The scheduled completion date was supposed to be before my mother's death anniversary, but they failed to meet that deadline. I paid them a large sum of money, but they showed little respect for my property and the promised date. The workers were lazy and made excuses for the delays. They even damaged my yard and caused erosion near the patio. When I confronted them about the pool dimensions, they claimed I had changed my mind, which was not true. It seemed like they were using leftover parts for my pool. The customer service was terrible, and they retaliated against me for expressing my dissatisfaction. The whole project has been a disaster, and they have shown no urgency to complete it. The concrete cracked the same day it was poured, and the pool deck looks dirty and stained. I discovered that they had completed other pools in a fraction of the time it took them to work on mine. They have constantly missed deadlines and made empty promises. They have not communicated with me and have left trash on the side of my house. I have paid them a significant amount of money, and this level of service is unacceptable.
