VERICREST FINANCIAL, CIT MORTGAGE GROUP AND LONE STAR FUND have conspired to defraud its borrowers and blatantly violate Federal Truth in Lending Laws, which carry severe civil penalties. I have sued CIT when they foreclosed on my home and the case is still pending three years later. You should read your monthly statements very carefully and see if your payments have been properly credited for both interest and principal reduction.

There is more bad news for those who are sick of CIT Group aka Lone Star Funds and VERICREST Financial's handling of your loan. I have discovered a huge conspiracy to DEFRAUD its borrowers by adding illegal fees to your loan and this violates Federal Truth in Lending Laws. CONTACT ME IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST ALL THREE PARTIES...I can be reached at walterfuqua@gmail.com and I will collect additional information that will allow a class action suit.

They throw people out of their homes and steal their items and take pictures their vehicles and even try to break in the person home when they go out to church. they are hungry desperate crooks will steal anything to recoop what they lost and also have people follow you around stalking you. So the federal Tade Commission should investigate vericest financial/ Cit Group because they are crooks and they change their names because they committed fraud and the government gave them billions of dollars after the fact when they went bankrupt, those son of ### are fraudlent and if they don't do something about that company I will. They need to follow the law just like everybody else, they have broken the law many time and the government let them get away with it.

I agree totally, the Federal Trade Commission should investigate this company. I asked for a payoff on my home and it took them over 3 months to get that information to me, then when I got it they had $10.00 for faxing me the information, $313.25 in unpaid other charges (that they won't tell us what they are even for), accrued interest, etc. To top it all off, I paid them off and they got it before the end of the month yet didn't apply it to the account until 5 days into the next month, then charged me interest for the November payment (was paid off in October). They then proceeded to say I owed them $385.66 and said they had to charge this amount off and reported it to the credit bureau that I was past due and sent me to collection which really ticks me off. Not to mention the fact that I paid them for over 13 years on a 15 year mortgage and the payment is 644.86 per month and they said I still owed the bank $28, 741.92. The principal shouldn't have been over 15, 000.00 with our interest rate. When I contacted Vericrest and talked to their customer service department the gentleman I talked to said he would figure out what happened and get back to me, that was over 3-1/2 months ago and they haven't sent me a thing. Nor have I received my title to my home. Guess they were just too busy sending me to a collection agency and screwing up my credit rating for no reason except they hire incompotent workers who don't have a clue how to "reverse" charges. I'm taking them to court for violating the "fair credit reporting act", fraud, and any other charges that my lawyer can come up with. I have had it with banks that do whatever they want, charge whatever they want, and when someone finally takes them to court they drag it out for years and years.

We are another victim of the ### company : Vericrest Financial. We got screwed over by them. They would NOT agree on a loan modification. They lowered a 8% loan to 7.9% saving us $17 per month. That did not work, so they said if we agreed to "short sale" they would forgive the debt and no foreclosure would be on our names. So we went along with them and we got an RE and got 5 bids on the home! Then they tricked us and sold it at an auction date they said was cancelled. Totally ignore the bids and the RE agent. They sold it back to themselves, 5 minutes before 5 PM on the auction date for $585K, then 2 weeks later sold it to Union Bank for $544K, then sold the extra $225K debt to a Cinco Financial and we have a "forecloser "on our credit report. The RE agent was furious!, in all her 25 years as a R.E. agent, she has NEVER seen a bank be so ruthless! The $255K debt was u-collectable in CA, so we lucked out there. Conclusion : VeriCrest Financial is nothing more than a "rotting carcass"
