Very unprofessional not to have chicken but for I dish and to top it off it was uncooked the artichoke chicken is my favorite but in this restaurant it's different my chicken was uncooked after my first bit it made me sick and they asked to reheat it and the cook is cooking in pejamas I'm never eating in this location because of how horrible service is and the staff looks very unorganized and unfriendly .

Village Inn Restaurants unethical behavior

On April 1st I went to the Menaul location in Albuquerque and saw a large young lady in a short white top, no bra clean windows and seating people n vacuuming. I'm assuming she was the hostess (no uniform). Very uncomfortable or so I thought. I returned to the same location on May 8th and was horrified. An older woman was talking very loudly to other customers about very intimate things. It was brothel like, she was pulling down her blouse revealing cleavage. I was again uncomfortable and left. I spoke to the cashier Audra who apologized for her manager's behavior. If it's a front for a brothel it explains why I've been told the assistant manager and cooks are selling drugs while the manager is selling herself and waitresses.

Village Inn Restaurants employee

Darcey is a waitress at village inn Ogden 12th street. She is the most demeaning, disrespectful and rude person I've ever worked with. I've been waiting tables for many years and she is the most hateful biggest bully I've worked with ever! My manager apparently adores her and never sees any flaw in her actions. I know many employees who have quit because of her. She excludes other employees after she breaks them down and then acts like she knows nothing about her behaviors! She is insufferable! I can deal with a lot and have thick skin but she has become unbearable! She belittles everyone and has her sons that work there with her to do her side work and seat her twice as much as other servers. She is hateful and rude and aggressive and threatening to other servers. Everyone is scared to confront her in a proper way because she acts one way in front of management and another way with employees. She make this place a hostile work environment and I cannot deal with her hateful attitude. She says she runs this place because she has been there for 20 years. I don't know why everyone allows her to do this to her fellow coworkers.

About 10:00am
We often eat breakfast after Church on Sunday at the Village Inn Restaurant in Bentonville Ar. We also eat lunch there fairly often.
The food and service are good.
This past Sunday morning we went to eat breakfast there after Church and ask the hostess (Tuma) for a booth. She said there weren't any. It was very obvious that there were several available booths. We pointed that out to her and she said that they were for the regular customers and then very rudely said if we didn't like it talk to her Manager.
We did, the Manager offered to move us to a booth, but we already had coffee and water and had ordered our breakfast. I might add here that our waiter was very polite. The Manager gave us free pie to take home and we thank her for that.
I don't think that Tuma has the right attitude or personality to be working with the public. That doesn't project a good image of Village Inn to the public. If we have to deal with her again we will definitely ask for the Manager.

Village Inn Restaurants pie of the month shortage! chocolate european truffle

If you are going to make us wait for this pie every year make sure that you make enough pie for the entire month and not run out 2 weeks in for it to never return. This is ridiculous. All the signs on the table say you want to sell all these pies for Easter yet you don't have any of the European Truffle that you are highlighting. I called today to the restaurant to make sure that the pie was in and apparently it did not come in on the truck. We do go to Village every Wednesday for Free Pie Day but we will no longer be going. We will find a new lunch spot for Wednesday!

Village Inn Restaurants customer service/food/cleanliness

My family went to this location last night 4/21/3019 around 8pm and were greeted by the shift supervisor on duty who was sitting at a back table and seemed upset we disturbed her. As she sat us we requested a booth and we got will you all even fit with a snide remark. Food came out my burger was so over done it was gross the bun was burnt so bad it crumbled I asked for no onions and of course covered in them. My littlest daughter got mini pancakes and the server brought the syrup which looked like it was all water. When asking to get another one our sever was irritated and was walking away saying they keep them under the water and it musta got water inside the bottle. The next one wasn't much better. No hope in trying to get another one. You could tell the server who I can't remember her name was obviously irritated and not happy to be working. She brought our ticket right after food came out and never checked on us again but to clear the table. I watched the supervisor cleaning the upper vents with a broom i'm assuming to get dust out. She was standing on the chair and then never cleaned off the table or around where dust had fallen. I took my daughter to the bathroom and walked right past the table and it was gross! I shoulda taken a pic but I just wanted to leave! I'll never return to this place again. Dirty and rude staff. Overcooked food yuck!

Village Inn Restaurants terrible upper management /no help from other staff

In quincy illinois - was in tonight with a large table (of about 13 people or so). Manager on shift did not help single server that was not only taking care of our table, but several other tables. It seemed apparent that another server had already clocked out, and nothing was filled for the server on the floor. The way the woman in charge (with brown hair and glasses) was speaking to her staff was quite appalling. She yelled at one of her employees for asking simple questions for help.

I've never seen something so terrible.
Food was alright, we didn't say anything in store because we didn't want to cause drama. We will be calling first thing monday to also speak with someone. I think we also know the head boss of this particular place.

It also seems like the manager doesn't care too much either if they are choosing these types of people to run the business while they're away.

Utterly ridiculous

Will not be returning. Horrible.

To days ago came in to have lunch on Tuesday was greeted by hostess name Tina. She smiled like weed so bad my kids even said something about it to me then she sat us in burnadet side cant stand that lady at all talking to my husband about burnadet & getting up leaving ask to be moved to the other side with jody there was open tables long time customers soon as I ask 4 jody Tina said nothing open all of a sudden ask to talk to manger she went to burnadet was talking to her about it jody was up front helping somebody out so I ask her she was acting manger while the management was at meeting she explained what was wrong we got moved to other side those 2 lady's made us fell so uncomfortable it was hard to stay thank god for jody bless her heart love her those 2 can wash & learn how to handle a situation we eat went to pay Tina was there and was bening very cold rude meen the most horrible do lunch experience I think I've ever had I paid for our food ask Tina to give just tipped to Jody for us we had to leave she stuck it in her pockets watch from the front lobby as she walked over to Bernadette and give her Jody tip look for her and then look back and smirk like haha so please hopefully this will bring to somebody's attention and take care of this problem that seems to have with these to ladys. If I wasn't such a long time customer I would go somewhere else and not look back I can't believe she took that money and gave it to somebody else.. There and watched it happen

Village Inn Restaurants customer service

Hi today we went and had a brunch at this location. We live near so this is the location that we usually go. Usually the service it's good, but this time the manager was extremely extremely rude.I never have been treated so bad in my life. This person shouldn't be a manager. Village Inn Restaurants restroom

Over the last 2 weeks I have visited the village inn in iowa city the foood has been good but the rest rooms are like a outhouse in the 40's the weather here has been anywhere from 0 to mid 20's so with that information this is what I have to complain about both time I have visited this restaurant the mens room has been just as cold as the weather outside the floor is wet/dam I understand they have high volume of ppl using the restroom but come on. I am a custodian at the university if my restrooms looked even close to that bad the complaints would be alot. The urinal had stains an some black spots on it and surrounding wall's all over the urinal itself. I didnt even want to look at the toilet. The sinks an mirrors looked well used like I would expect to see with the volume of traffic the have. The floor was wet an musty smelling.in several jobs I have work iwas always told keep the bathroom clean cause thats how ppl judge the place so I find this bathroom experience bad. And that makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like how clean is it really? Walmart is alot cleaner than this place.

Village Inn Restaurants food and service is horrible!

Yesterday evening (01/17/19) at 5:30PM, a group of friends and I met at this Village Inn location (in Goodyear, AZ) to get together and have some food. From the very beginning, we all noticed that there was only one waitress and only two people dinning. When we were seated and approached by the waitress, automatically we all noticed that the woman was not in a good mood and had an attitude. We were asked what we wanted to drink and we ordered our drinks. Once she brought our drinks to our table, already we had issues. Not all of our drinks were as we had asked. We told the waitress about our drinks and she took the ones that weren't the right ones or tasted awful away and brought new ones. We ordered our food afterwards(which was mostly breakfast menu items), and when she brought our food out; she literally was slamming the plates on the table, where some food had came off the plate. One of my friends said, "Excuse me" and slammed back the plate at the waitress. The waitress left and when we started to eat our food, each of us just looked at each other with disgust. The food was cold, for some tough to chew on, and even undercooked. We all stopped eating and waited for the waitress to come to our table. When the waitress came to our table, we told her and she seemed to get even more upset. That's when we decided to leave. Before we left we spoke with the manager and told him our concerns and he did take off the food we had ordered and offered a piece of pie to us; but with that customer service and food, we declined and just paid for our drinks. We all decided we're NEVER going back to this restaurant location and it's understandable now why there's barely anyone dinning there. I believe this restaurant should be gone all together, and be replaced by another one that offers excellent food and customer service to the public/community.

Menaul Restaurant-prior to Christmas
I don't care who has ignition interlock or medical marijuana or whatever the situation, it's not my business. However, I saw the manager having a waitress (Aggie) blow into the ignition interlock, it was around 3pm on a Wednesday afternoon. He was groping her and then got in the driver's seat. I am not sure the situation but I do know he is the manager Alex. it bothered me enough to look up his name and found he has 6 DWI's and ignition interlock for life. Which made we wonder if he was drinking. Anyway, after I ate I was circling behind the restaurant to find the red head waitress that was "helping" her boss smoking what looked and smelled like marijuana. The wait staff talk freely and so when I went in after the holidays I heard them say the same red head pulled a knife on one of the cooks. He was the one fired. I overheard this. Either the regional manager is being snowed or doesn't know about what is going on at that restaurant. I have complained to him prior to this when I saw a group of employees including the previous manager smoking marijuana outside in the parking lot. That manager is no longer there but all the other employees are still there. What should be done? Mandatory drug/alcohol tests periodically or fire the whole bunch. When you're sitting for 30 minutes for a salad and they are too stoned to even recognize they didn't put the order in is ridiculous. Or when a waitress was rolling a "joint" in the restaurant on Christmas. This is not a family friendly environment! Something has to be done from Regional Manager on down the line.

Hello, My name is Jordan Shepard. I worked at Village Inn at East Mexico Ave in Denver, CO. I worked there briefly because of how completely terrible my experience there was. After I finally received my paycard, I started getting harassment from the Management there, more specifically Patricia the store manager. She refused to take my calls, and when she did she was rude and raising her voice, and even hanging up the phone. I had to call several times and she stopped taking my calls. I had to have my boyfriend try to call and get simple information on how to activate my card, asking for corporate information and phone number and the store number. I was given NO information on how to activate my card and eventually was told yesterday about the Dayforce login. I tried every single possible login and nothing worked. Now my account is locked and I am beyond desperate just to receive my payday. Unfortunately it was too late for me to purchase gifts for the holidays and NO ONE could answer the phone to answer my desperate pleas for help. I am still left without any answers and I am very angry and upset with the disrespect and unprofessionalism from this store. I won't mention all the other issues with this store at this time including money stealing, management and employees spreading rumors about my personal, mental health, spreading lies about employees including myself, taking advantage of new employees, ignoring schedule requests, mishandling personal information, food stealing, ignoring customers, and refusing to answer phones. I was there less than a month and saw FIVE MANAGERS come and go. I'm very concerned about how poorly customers are treated here daily and I wish someone to please check it out. Patricia is the worst type of boss with absolutely no hint of professionalism. I'm very disappointed with my experience at Village Inn and I am very desperate for someone to just please help me. I am just asking for someone to help me figure out my Dayforce log in and activating my card because I have been spinning in circles since Saturday.
