Hi, I started using Vinted recently as I had heard a number of good reports and my son had used it to make some purchases. I have had a number of really good clothes to sell for some time and therefore thought, now is the time to start using it.

My first item to list was a pair of Yeezy slides. I had won 2 pairs in the Adidas and End raffle last year when they were released. I returned one pair and kept the second. I wore them a few times but realised they just weren't the right fit for me as they gave me blisters. I therefore made the decision to sell them.

As this was my first listing and I was still learning, I checked on "Vinted" and could see several other pairs for sale. I therefore had a look at their photos to see what had been included and tried to replicate this as this was my first time selling on the site. My Yeezy's had been worn, which I made clear on the listing, but I included photos of the box and the original tags as I had kept these. This was actually more than some other listings had included and therefore I didn't think there would be any issue.

I logged on the next day to see if there had been any views only to find that my account had been definitively blocked and I had been accused of selling counterfeit goods. I was shocked and very upset to have been accused of this without any attempt to get any further information from me. I replied to this message, sending screen shots of the emails showing me winning the raffle to purchase the items as well as a copy of the order email itself to show proof of legitimate purchase. Your team then contacted me asking me to send a photo of the inner size label placed inside of the Yeezy slide or on the shoes soles / insoles. If anyone replying knew anything about Yeezy slides they would know that such things do not exist. There are no labels inside them as they are waterproof items and therefore are a solid piece of rubber. I had already provided pictures of the soles of the slides in my original listing. The only thing included inside the slide is an imprint stating "Yeezy, Made in China, [protected]@US (I have attempted to take a picture of this but it is almost impossible as a phone wont fit in to the slider).

Now, I have actually sold the sliders in person to someone who knows what they are looking for and could tell that they are authentic and therefore I do not wish to still sell these but I do have a number of other items that I would like to sell via Vinted. I understand that individual listings may be deleted if you wish to carry out further investigations but to delete my whole account is unjust. I am deeply upset that I have been accused of something that I haven't done.

I emailed the team to ask what additional proof I could send and was just informed that they were unable to share more specific details on why my item was deleted. How can this be the case as there must be a reason why someone believes my slides to not be authentic. It leaves me to question the legitimacy of my account being blocked if Vinted are not able to give me a reason why.

I do wish this to be considered as a formal complaint as I feel victimised by your actions and that I have been unjustly accused of something that i have not done. My son and I own a number of designer items and we have never purchased or sold anything counterfeit.

The only resolution I seek is for my account to be reinstated so that I can sell other items although I will never seek to use Vinted to sell designer items again and will use other online sales sites that have more robust systems in place for authentication.

I should point out that there are other listings on your site that are clearly not authentic - friends have even reported fake Lego. These listings have been allowed to remain making me feel even more victimised for trying to sell a legitimate item.

To make matters worse, my husband created a new Vinted account as he was also so shocked that you had blocked me. You have also blocked that account. Are Vinted now saying that none of my family members can have a Vinted account either? I don't believe this is stated in your terms and conditions and think that if this is your practice you should state this very clearly.

I had hoped for a much more positive experience but have instead been left deeply upset by this situation,

I hope you are able to resolve this.

I have included copies of the photos included in the listing as well as screenshots of my order emails and the attempted picture of the inside of a yeezy although this is not clear.

Desired outcome: Re-instatement of account. Account username is D15 JAJ, email [protected]@sky.com
