Vinted have suspended my account without any dialogue when I have pending purchases and sales
I have made two purchases in excess of £200.00 and pending balances for sales which I have despatched but Vinted have suspended my account without warning which puts me at a risk off over £300.00. How can they do this? Is this legal when they are holding my money? I CANNOT ACCESS MY ACCOUNT to even give you evidence of the balances owing and spent
Desired outcome: I want the money I am owed and should the items I have purchased fail to materialise I want a refund!
Phone number verification
I have been unable to log back into my vinted account as it is asking me to verify my phone number. After entering my phone number I recieved a message informing me that the number can only be used once meaning I have a duplicate account using the same phone number. After contacting vinted I was advised to delete any old/duplicate accounts and it should fix the problem however I am also unable to log back into my old account as again it is asking me to verify my phone number and when I enter my number I get either the same message as on my other account or I receive an error message and get locked out of my account for 24 hours. I am now in limbo where I am unable to delete my old account and unable to log into my new account to withdraw funds.
Please advise.
Desired outcome: Id like to delete my old account so I can verify my phone number on my new account.
Keeping items without any payment
23rd june 2022 I sold 8 items in total to one buyer one item in packaged arrived damaged,vinted decided refund buyer in total saying I never packaged property (bubbletwrapped and very sucure ) buyer got 7 items that were undamaged without any payment or any of the items returned to myself ,when I asked customer services about undamaged items no response or made sure I could not comment any further im,all for refund etc( damaged items )have they right to allow undamaged items to be kept uncharged for ,I'm having a hard time getting head round this , customer services on vinted are appalling,think should use TV ad money update customer services after all is us make this site possible ( Unbelievable)

I sent an item which Vinted cancelled and now have not received payment and have lost the item
I have sent an item and paid for postage myself. Vinted then cancelled the order and after I sent proof that the item was sent. I'm now out of pocket for postage and the buyer has my item for free. I've messaged both the buyer and Vinted on the app but have had no response also emailed and got an automated response back and nothing more.

You are not the only one I am experiencing the same thing. The buyer also kept my item and the funds were never released to me. I told Vinted and they say nothing can be done and every time i get a different respond from a new team member. I told them I will report them but they do not seem to care.
Product not delivered
My daughter recently bought from Vinted (which i paid for), i also paid for the extra protection.
We received notification from UPS to state that it had been delivered to the collection point and then another from Vinted to advise us to collect it.
However, the staff at the collection point stated that the parcel had never arrived and advised us to call in again the next day.
We have now called in daily for the last week and they still havent received it (the staff can verify this).
My daughter has sent 3 messages to Vinted with no response and have tried to claim from UPS but the system states that it is delivered. (I have now emailed customer service).
I paid £148 including the extra protection & now feel that somewhere along the line we have been scammed as we dont seem to be able to get a response from anyone.
The staff at the collection point could be contacted & we then may be able to trace this or at least get our money back.
Desired outcome: Ideally would like to receive the parcel however if this has vanished we will accept a full refund
Sellers double dealing there items
Vinted is a great way to sell items it’s platform is really easy to work with no complications until it comes to certain members damaging Vinted reputation it seems anyone can sell or purchase an item and immediately changed there mind after a transaction has been completed, one just brushes away the purchase (money already in place) to either resell to another buyer at a higher price or just resell through Vinted at a different price
For me if some one sell there item it should be a binding contract for instance I have recently had 4 sellers do a u turn on me once they have agreed to sell recently a seller called - seller 223 advertised an item to which I bought and completed the sale to cancel the sale 2 days later after my transaction to then re sell the same item in Vinted …?
Why should this be allowed it’s making Vinted lose credibility as a serious company when sellers can just re sell the same item at a higher price
This bad practice wastes time and holds up money within the transaction there should be some control on this bad practice sellers in particular should be held accountable for the dodgy dealings in cheating the buyer and Vinted reputation the seller should be looked at more closely and if the see bad practice they should not allow the seller to resell advertise the same item twice

Absolute useless application and customer service. They “aim to reply in 48 hours” by that time you can be scammed and scammer runs away with the money.
This happened yesterday 20th June 2022.
They have not replied to my issue. My product never arrived and I paid for it, the money was sent to the seller even though I reported it missing.
Desired outcome: I was to get my refund £160 back
Item returned damaged no refund
I have received a return from a buyer. The buyer sent the item with Royal Mail. I received the return damaged as it was sent in an old box without wrapping paper. It was an electronic device so it needed to be protected.
Vinted didn't help. Said to claim with Royal Mail or the buyer. I sent ten pictures showing that the package was done not correctly. Vinted advice to return the money once you receive the tracking code not the item back. So I did and this is my situation now.

On 6th of May I received a message from Yodel saying that the item will be re turned. No return was made despite my requests at Vinted to investigate.
On 18th May I received a notification that the buyer has received the item and a payment will be made in my account.
A few hours later I received another notification saying that the buyer is canceling this transaction and a refund will be made.
Vinted sent a claim form to Yodel for my missing purchase but yodel rejected the claim saying that I have received my item back.
No item has been sent to me. If it was received by the buyer than that's the person who has my item. Basically thanks to vinted and YODEL I don't have my item anymore and I don't have a payment for it. Thanks Vinted, you are thieves I will get to the bottom of this even if I have to go to court. You should pay Court expenses too.

I used Vinted to purchase a product. The product has arrived and I found out that it's faulty and inauthentic. Therefore I reported the issue to Vinted customer service within the same day of receiving the product. After 2 days, the Vinted contacted me saying that they cannot provide a refund because I haven't filed the complaint within the first 2 days which is not correct. Sent 3 weekends a go all happy. I tried to login to get my money paid to me and suddenly it has Verify your phone number. Filled it in but it says I already have this number so can't use again and must b another account do go in and delete other account. I had a problem with my email address and had to open a new email account so logged in with new email. I can't delete the account as I don't know the old password and there isn't an email account. This is a summary of my chats with Vinted customer services regarding this claim. Order received on the 23rd May 2022
I reported the item received was a counterfeit good as soon as I received it on the 23rd.
Vinted have refused to classify it as a counterfeit and blindly ignore any evidence provided. Evidence below (Real vs fake bag). According to them “After an extensive and thorough investigation, we concluded that the item's authenticity can't be confirmed”. I have the item so I can easily proof is a counterfeit.
Vinted have not confirmed that will refuse to let the same seller to post the same item in your website. The seller has confirmed in the chat that wants to get the item back to resell. The seller seems or pretends to be unaware of doing anything illegal, but so is Vinted which might explain why is a scammer’s nest. The seller received the money from Vinted.
This is a screenshot of the last interaction with Vinted “customer Support”. The highlighted text is from the seller, but basically it is also from Vinted as they acted in the same manner.
This claim is not even about me getting a refund anymore but about stopping dodgy companies like Vinted acting illegally and encouraging this illegal trade. Can you please advise on how to procede and take this further to protect consumers?

I accumulated £167 I requested a transfer to my bank account (the same one I use to purchase items) a wrong number has been keyed. I have completed all that’s been asked of me by Vinted including a letter of proof that I have not received my monies from my Bank and it has in fact been returned to Vinted bank account as the account number keyed is not valid so automatically goes back to Vinted? Vinted say they have not had my money returned and that’s the end of the matter. So I am out by all this money and that’s it? I think it’s shocking and is not acceptable.

I bought what I thought bc was a genuine item of a Nintendo Switch, I got the tracking details and was happy. Some days passed and I received an email while I was at work to say that the ‘parcel’ had been delivered through my letterbox. I arrived home to find that the so called parcel was in fact just a flat envelope with nothing but a piece of square card which said, ‘Thank you so much, have a great time’
I contacted Vinted who gave then suspended the purchase so that my money is safe, but haven’t heard back from them or even had my money back

My order was sent by the seller which I paid £140 for and UPS tracking was set, but strangely showed the package was coming from Denmark?! The seller is from London. So I questioned the seller who said the tracking was wrong and that she would speak with the logistics company. She then told me she resolved it but my tracking information didn’t change. In the meantime I contacted vinted and they’ve suspended the transaction but told me I won’t get a refund until the item is returned to the seller.
Since then I’ve been trying to get a response from vinted as this is not fair that I have to wait for the item to be returned to the seller to get my refund.
I never received the project and my money is just being held in what I assume is vinted’s account.
I’m going on maternity leave and money is tight already, I need this money back.

I have purchased an item and the item has not been sent to me. They have sent me fraudulent picture of a Royal Mail receipt. I have asked the seller numerous times for a refund and still not received one. I have contacted customer support and have no response! Royal Mail have assured me this item is not in there network and the receipt is fraudulent! I paid buyer protection so why am I not being protected?

Tried to contact customeer service, no phone number that works, emailed, no response.
I emailed the seller, 4 days later, the seller has said that they have spoke to customer service and they said to end the dispute and say the parcel was lost and so I will get my money back that way?
They claim that the post office has foodtage of them posting the trainers?
It all sounds and feels very frauduelnt to me.

Wrong labels, parcels going to wrong address as shipping labels wrong.
I’m disgusted at this Vinted UK site, it should be closed and reported to trading Standards.
1) I’ve lost customers as wrong shipping labels have been sent to me 3 times.
2) I’ve lost my items as my customer was in England and MY Shipping label sent the item to Wales.
3) I never received the earrings I ordered as they are sitting in a Hermes Depot and have been from 30th April. Meanwhile I have to wait 28 days for my money back.
Above all, I have to wait 3 sometimes 4 day for my enquiries to be an answered by the Customers Service team.
This site should be under investigation as none of this my fault,

Arbitrarily deciding that I am a commercial seller because my items had tags.
It was a big step for me to recognise that all the lovely unworn branded clothes I had been hoarding 'just in case' I ever got back down to that size needed to be sold. I spent some time photographing the items and listing them and had received some positive signs with people favouriting my items and then SUDDENLY they were all deleted by Vinted and they had deemed that I was a commercial seller.
So I'm to be penalised because my clothes aren't second-hand, well they are, its just I've never worn them!
Desired outcome: I want my listings re-instated by Vinted so that I don't have to go through the process of re-listing them.
