A buyer on the Vinted App bought a shipping label to purchase an item I posted for sale on the Vinted App. The buyer claims she has not received the parcel I sent using the shipping label provided by the Vinted app. Vinted are showing the item as sold, which is a lie as the item is not sold, and Yodel the courier has no idea where the parcel is. I have contacted Vinted through their in-App support service but no one is responded or taking any action.
Desired outcome: I want my parcel returned.
dresses and Jumpsuit
I have two similar complaint
Complain1: I bought a dress from a seller for 50pounds , the dress came smelling and with some makeup stains and loose threads . I couldn't even try on the dress because of the smells I returned it . The seller claimed I did the makeup stain and vinted let her keep my money and the dress.
Complain 2: I sold a jumpsuit and the buyer didn't like it, I asked her to return it and I will refund her money. Before I returned the jumpsuit vinted refunded her . Now she is refusing to return the jumpsuit she said she has binned it . how is that fair ..How do i loose both my item and money bought as a seller and as buyer . As a buyer , I actually paid buyer insurance and still i get reaped off . Why I'm i not protected by the buyers insurance ?This is fraud ! I think they are committing fraud or conspiring with some sellers .
Desired outcome: Refund my 50pound for my dress and 25 pounds for my jumpsuit or return the times to me .
Leather boots bought on vinted
I bought some leather boots on Vinted recently - about on the 8th of August 2023. The boots were advertised as size 4 which is my size. When I tried them on they were 2.5 cm bigger that meant they were size 6.5. Even though it said they were size 4 at the bottom of its sole, I am aware that size 4 in Brazil = 6.5uk size. But there was nothing said in the selling advert about them just said they were size4. As I live in UK and use Uk Vinted app plus the person who. As selling live on Uk I trusted it. The person as well said they were worn just once for a party. So the seller was lying about various things as I do not know any people wearing their boots/ shoes 2.5 sizes bigger!
I contacted the seller then Vinted saying that it was not my fault AT ALL in this occasion and I should not be paying any return postage. Vinted referrred to their policies that I have to pay. BUT it contradicts the uk laws about consumer right especially when it was not my fault. I would like you to have a look at this matter and it would be good if you can go further about this illegal matter which contradicts consumer rights 2015.
Desired outcome: I would like them to refund me full money and change their regulations and policies which contradict the official uk laws about trading standards.
Broken travel mug
The item arrived completely broken. The base was cracked and did not connect to the mug. I Clicked. I have an issue. The seller saw the pictures of the broken mug and said I did not need to return and said she would refund. I received a message from vinted saying the sale was now complete as I had not returned broken mug I was not entitled to refund. Case closed. Contacted the seller who was very rude and said she would not honour her refund offer. Contacted vinted as this is illegal, but vinted said resolve the problem with the seller. No refund was issued the attached photos show the damaged mug and the seller telling me I did not need to return the item and a refund was on its way
Desired outcome: A full refund as per uk law

I bought a pair of xxxl Ralph Lauren corded shorts. Blue
The seller told me,after I questioned him before the sale,roughly what size waist would xxxl fit. He states/responds with…”roughly 46” as he was that size. I bought and received the shorts. They are actually a 50” waist. So I took pictures sent to Vinted help and since then I’ve had the same response as I did when I first told them. Send us proof of size discrepancy which I did. Still no response so I’m out of pocket and no help

Item i sold was missing when delivered
I sold an item and posted the box containing the item wrapped in brown parcel paper, when the buyer received it they state there was no packaging and the item was missing from inside the box, since this has happened Vinted have blocked my account and after numerous messages from myself asking for somebody to call me nobody has and they continue to block my account and accuse me of fraudulant behaviour. I have told them I have done nothing wrong but they refuse to speak to me and will not unblock my account, they also will not tell me the outcome of the investigation (if any has been conducted).
Desired outcome: TO HAVE ACCOUNT UNBLOCKED SO THAT I CA VIEW ANY MESSAGES REGARDING A PURCHASE
I Have had this exact same thing happen me today. Courier also lost a parcel.. then a 3 star review came and bam account was locked.
I was doing very well on their platform and enjoying using it but, reading reviews like this seems I've no hope of getting my account back. Out of 50+ sales in the last month, I've had one small hiccup which wasn't even caused by me.
The support system is an absolute joke, This is so infuriating because I told the buyer I wasn't comfortable sending with yodel due to their reliability.
I've also been banned for fraud / scamming. Which, I'm not sure where either offences have been done and I'd genuinely love them to show me what's flagged on their system.

I need to give u I d but I have no passport or driving licence with photo I need my money out of my balance they have ask me for a citizen card but I am 52 years old not 20 so I think u better sort it out all I have his a bank card vinted in England will not help and because I have mental health you are making it worse and please can u tell me y I cannot get my money out
Buyer protection for items not delivered hasn’t been adhered to.
I purchased three items over the course of two orders. I’ve reported the issues to Vinted but they’ve refused to refund me, even though I had never received the items, their delivery partner has marked them as delivered. The items were left unattended near my home but never given to me, these were subsequently stolen and no refunds have been offered.
Desired outcome: A refund of £35.22 to cover all items. And a compensation voucher to address their rude advisors.
Service and speed of pending money owed to me
On 26th June I sold an item. Seller left it too long to return item as was not suitable but acknowledgeds the fact that she left it too long and has now said she will re sell on. £15 has been pending to be paid to me since the transaction and after numerous communications I am no nearer getting the money released. The fact that I am asking for information regarding time line of issue to be resolved and maybe even a contact for the 3rd party who is holding the money pending I’m made to feel I’m causing a fuss even tho it’s my money I’m trying to get. Whole episode is so frustrating as it’s like going round in circles. Please help to resolve this for me.
Desired outcome: My money that is being help by third party and marked as pending be released to me as almost 2 months of holding it is a bit excessive
Poor customer service
Unfortunately my item was sent back to seller, when I opened dispute about this, my money was released to seller as stated delivered (it was in fact delivered back to the seller, & shown this on tracking too) but customer service too lazy to do job properly & look at tracking properly (Savana) so ive no items & the seller got to keep my money. Unfortunately your not protected well when buying through Vinted. Its not safe, avoid

I placed an order on 26 June for a small wine stopper from. Customer service have ignored my missing parcel, ignoring my email for 48 hours, stating that they were busy. I tried to get in touch with Inpost to ask why my item is still at their sorting office.
I opened up an issue dispute, providing Inpost MF000000041341082 evidence-in that my item had in fact been delivered to Inpost Mdl Chester sorting depot and not my Inpost designated Chesterfield Address, as Vinted has claimed. I complained to Vinted on numerous occasions since 20th July.
Vinted sent me a picture of the Impost website tracking number, stating that it has been delivered, this does not show my address in any shape or form but Inpost own delivery office. They claimed that I did not open up a dispute within two days, they said that I had clicked ok-to which is lies.
I filed a dispute on the 24th, and provided the email from Inpost. on the 25th and 26th, to many different Vinted team players, including Mahdi and yet the individual named messages seemingly have gone missing, and only the automated messages are left, why is that? All computer data can be traced.
When I got in touch with the seller Koco2607, on the 26th, the seller said that Vinted has closed my case at midday, stating that the item had been delivered and closed my case, showing the same picture I had sent them off Inpost own website. Vinted took money out my account balance and paid the seller directly for an item, that Inpost has lost, why does your customer services fabricate lies like that?
Desired outcome: I would like my money back please, I paid insurance and have word evidence, you will only accept photos, why is that?

Hi. I listed a handbag and told buyers in the listing that it was NOT genuine. I would never want to scam anyone. However i didnt realise i wasnt allowed to sell it even though i said it wasnt genuine. I understand they had to take the listing down but after having spent all evening listing my items, Boom they closed my account down! I contacted them and they said i had multiple accounts open? I have only ever opened the one account. What would be the point of having several anyway?! I have told them i just have one account and certainly havnt ever opened anymore. I want my account re opened but they just dont reply to me. Please can you help.

hello i ordered a coat that was part of a bundle from JadeFreya2015.The coat was £20 and sized at age 6/7 . but when came it was age 5 .i have returned coat .but i cant get a refund .or anyone to speak to me to sort this out .the seller is asking me to pay again via PayPal for all items . so that i can get a refund .why am i expected to pay twice for items .one already been returned .all i want is my money back .and all i keep getting is a automated response that is not dealing with my problem .the seller as her coat back .and i am out of pocket. and im getting nothing from Vinted other than going round and round with the automated response thank you

I have been trying to resolve the problem with my vinted account. I couldn't purchase any items or sell.
I also tried to withdraw money from my account , again it would n't allow me, kept showing Something has gone wrong, so I tried to add another bank account and different card but wouldn't accept them either.
As I was so frustrated I deleted the account and now cant back into it. I had 27.52 it the account , now I am out of pocket.

Return costs when seller has not listed true item condition
Wow !
So I bought a pair of pjs of a lady who had photos of them and a description listing them as great condition . I made an offer to go lower and she didn’t accept so I paid the full asking price plus the postage .
The item came , it had snags in it on the shorts and clearly visible on the top right where you would look ! I messaged the lady and she insisted it was the pattern . Upon sending her detailed photos of the snags where the threads were hanging out she played silly and said she thought it was the pattern . I didn’t really want to pay full price with them in excellent condition so I definitely wasn’t happy paying for a product that was not wearable …. I checked the photos and her wording in her listing and they were not mentioned or photos at all .
So I start a return as she wanted them back only to find that I would have to pay for it !
Like what the hell ? I’ve gone out my way to pick up this “damaged item” got it home … now I have to repackage the item , go out my way again to send it back and PAY for the privilege!
How can a company condone sellers to be so deceitful and misleading ? How can they justify the buyer being out of pocket and inconvieneced when it was a SELLERS fault for misleading ! The seller is responsible for listing items truthfully and correctly … if they haven’t done that they should be liable for the return as it’s their responsibility!
Only when they start losing money ( by paying the return postage ) will they then start to list their items in the true condition they are in

I listed a designer top that I'd worn a couple of times but it felt a little too big. the buyer didn't want it (not enough word space to explain). I accepted to give the buyer the refund & she suggested to not bother to send it back but I asked for the return. A tracking number was listed to show the item had been posted but it never arrived. The message came from Vinted to click that there was an issue (as I previously had done but then was told to wait 22 days) but when I clicked the button it said there was an issue with the site. So, I messaged again. Vinted said they'd look into it and now refusing to refund.

Desired outcome: Vinted need to pursue InPost for a refund for the undelivered parcel or the buyer does. If you post an item it is on you to ensure it is returned safely.
Lost parcel and poor customer service.
I was due a parcel on 15/7/23 along with one from eBay. JD000219880276608 eBay parcel was delivered along with photo evidence.
87W344596339A002 Vinted parcel was also logged as delivered. I know this is a Yodel problem but as the photo of a large box was shown to Vinted they closed the case even after I showed the tracking number and the photo of the envelope used by the buyer. Even though communication was through web chat , the operator was rude, not taking into account any evidence I gave. As soon as I realised the parcel has been marked as delivered I contacted them within minutes, but they have just closed the case for a photo of another tracking number!
Desired outcome: I want to be reimbursed, it is not a large amount of money thankfully but they should be claiming it off Yodel, who are an absolute joke.
Selling
I sold a pair of second hand Louis Vuitton shoes on vinted. They had signs of wear and tear shown in the photos and were listed as used.
The buyer didn't like them and complained about the signs of wear. Which I had been clear about.
I refused the return but vinted over turned this. The buyer returned the item to me with visible signs of extra damage and the placed rotted banana peel in the shoes and bag. I showed the proof of deliberate damage and the rotted banana skins. Vinted simply said that I have not shown adequate evidence and refunded the buyer who returned them. Even though I provided proof of the vandalism
Desired outcome: To have my £85 returned as the shoes are now destroyed and can't be sold

I sold a brand new pair of leggings. Buyer paid. I couldn't print the label so paid royal mail to collect and deliver. This was done. Buyer clarified she received. Vinted refunded her, said I hadn't dispatched. I lost all the money. Disgusting service.

I have been on Vinted for a short time. After a week they blocked my account stating selling counterfeit Id strictly prohibited.
I had listed a REAL Chanel bag.
After many messages and algorithms as a response from them, I get an apology from Vinted and my account is reinstated that same minute.
Two days ago, I am blocked again, this time for suspicious activities on my account when all I did was to buy, ( still waiting for my orders), their customer support is inexistant ! Vinted will make you feel that you committed a murder, no respect once they block you, again for not reason.
Shame on them!
Desired outcome: Would love them to prove me wrong, tell me what I did wrong. First they apologize and reopened my account for a week and then I am accused of suspicious activities when all I did was buying from my account to their platform.
