I purchased an item from Vinted which included their buyer protection fee which is mandatory. The item was delivered by inpost. However I wasn’t home when it was delivered so it wasn’t delivered to me. InPost tracking dosnt specify where it was delivered to it just says delivered. So I raised this with Vinted and filled out their forms. After about a week Vinted contacted me and said that inpost have said it’s delivered so we are releasing the money to the seller. When I asked where it was delivered to and proof of postage they said they didn’t have this from InPost all they had was Inpost saying it’s been delivered. But it 100% could not have been delivered to me. I know that as a consumer I do not have to pay for goods unless the courier can provide proof of delivery and this hasn’t been met. Vinted are now just replying generic things like sorry but thanks for understanding our policy. I haven’t given my understanding I’m furious actually so now I either want to know where it went so I can go find it if it’s with a neighbour somewhere or was it left outside? Either way I’m without the product and the money

I have just had a horrible Experiance with Vinted. They are an awful company to deal with. They block you unnecessarily and permanently. No matter how much you explain your mistake and apologise.
ebay are much nicer to deal with and helpful. It’s worth the fees.
