The first concert was July 8, in Kansas City and the other concert was suppose to be September 5, St Louis. I’ve been very patient. The performer has stated that tickets can be refunded, but Vivid refuses referencing their terrible terms and conditions which require that the event be canceled in order to refund the purchase. Vivid has stated that even if the event is delayed for 5+ years they would still not refund unless it is canceled.

I would give everyone a warning of buyer beware. I purchased tickets to two different events through Vivid Seats on 8/22/22. I received the transfer of the tickets for my first event immediately. Tickets for the other event, which was to be on 11/11 said they would be transferred by the event date. On 11/9 I received an email saying my tickets had been transferred but I never received a transfer email. I contacted Vivid, they requested the seller to resend the tickets to an alternative email. I called again a day and a half later and they said I would have my tickets by the event. I had no trust in this. I ended up purchasing tickets through a different vendor, and I never received my tickets from the seller through vivid. I contacted Vivid to inquire about a refund and I'm having to fight to the nail for a refund because their records show that the seller sent the tickets, but I can't prove that I never received them. This business seems okay, but if you don't receive your tickets, be prepared to fight for a refund if you ever get it.

Vivid Seats is a scammer...they failed to give back monies for tickets to Michelle Obama Conversation that was postponed and never rescheduled. They dont respond to calls or emails. It feels like a robbery without a pistol. It's been a year. BBB rates them on the bases of what they pay for the rating. They are worst venue I've ever bought tickets from.

When delivered means undelivered
While I've used them successfully in the past, this is the first time I had an issue. You learn about the quality of a company not just when things go well, but especially when they go awry. Vivid Seats sold us tickets, marked them as delivered, yet never delivered our tickets, and then after hours of phone calls and "chats" have still not resolved the issue, stating they are "working on it". We've had to cancel our trip to the UK as we now have no tickets to the event we were going to see, and no indication this issue will be resolved, and $2K gone. Next stop the attorney general's office.
Purchased 3 months ago, not received 1week out
I purchased tickets through Vivid Seats in early July for a concert out of state on Sept 29. Less than a week to go, no tickets have been given to me. Attempts to call or email or chat to get accountability are futile. Only bots have been repeating the line to wait. It is unacceptable to have no accounting as to where the tickets are, if they even exist. There is no logical reason for those to tickets to be provided other than they do not exist. I have to wait until the concert comes, goes, to contact my credit card company and in the meantime my out of state reservations are past the point of being canceled without financial cost. It looks like I’ll be paying last minute, scarce ticket pricing despite having reserved tickets nearly 3 months ago.

DO NOT USE VIVID SEATS, you may be one of the many unlucky ones! I bought tickets 2 months in advance. I received an email a few days before the game to "Confirm my email". I followed their next steps, and received an email "Electronic Transfer Delivered"... but it was not a proper digital ticket, it was just an email confirming the delivery. I received no bar code or anything resembling a real ticket, checked junk/spam... nothing. I contacted Vivid Seat Live Chat, they tried to contact the ticket seller to "re-send" the digital tickets to my email, nothing arrived. They asked for an alternate email, I created a new account w/that email and they said they were sending tickets to that one. Nothing arrived. With 30 mins. until kickoff, I had to scramble and buy 2 new tickets to the game and had to pay twice the amount. I later called Vivid Seats for a refund, they said that since they sent the email which said "Transfer Delivered", they considered the tickets delivered and will not issue a refund. Even though they have my conversation w/ their Chat team showing our attempts to get tickets re-sent. Total SCAM! I even took our email receipt to the ticket booth at the stadium, they could see in their system that I had 2 tickets, but without a digital ticket bar code, we couldn't get into the game. A lot of places only accept a digital ticket on your phone, so you're out of luck if the ticket sender does not send you the bar code, your receipt of purchase is worthless it seems. Very frustrated and will NEVER use Vivid Seats again... and warning to you... I have read many many complaints about the 'fake' guarantees. If Vivid Seats don't refund bc they may think I did recieve & use the tickets, wouldn't there be proof somehow showing my tickets were scanned upon entry to the game? That clearly didn't happen bc I received NO TICKETS! I posted a pic of the only thing Vivid Seats sent me, it's not a ticket. I feel sorry for other customers who have lost a lot more money than we did.

Paid $160 for a single ticket for a show that was rescheduled (twice). The person the ticket was for has since died. I cannot get a refund because the event was rescheduled (as opposed to cancelled) and when I try to resell the ticket on vivid’s site, they say ‘due to the ‘nature’ of this event (what does that even mean?) only our *Volume Resellers* are allowed to re-sell tickets’. What kind of scam is this?

Parking Tickets for Football Games
Wanted to purchase 2 parking passes together at VT vs. Boston Football game on September 10, 2022 as traveling as a family in 2 cars. On, September 8, 2022, I selected "Row 16" 2x but separate transactions (as I couldn't figure out how or it doesn't allow you to add to cart). One arrived by mail with a "Lot 16" other was delivered electronically. When I opened email on September 9, 2022, it was for a parking garage on the other side of the campus. Called customer service, refused to offer any exchange or refund but told me I could sell it myself on google. I asked to speak to the manager, told me there was no one above him. Kept telling me same blurb about it was my fault, not his, no refund, etc. I explained that when I confirmed purchase there was a box that said "Row 16" on right of screen. Repeatedly asked to speak to manager and he refused. Ultimately, hung up on me. So I recommend never buying anything from this place. I never will again.

Undelivered sports tickets
On September 3, 2022, I purchased tickets to the Cincinnati v Razorbacks game in Fayetteville, Arkansas. 3 for $533.58.
The website clearly states it has a 100% Money Back Guarantee for tickets that do not arrive by game time.
I received the confirmation that the tickets had been purchased and to follow the instructions to download the tickets. I followed the instructions and received another email showing that the ticket were pending.
We started heading to the venue with me continuing to check for the final ticket download without success.
After several hours we arrived, parked, and made the trek to the stadium with several thousand other spectators. Upon arriving at the gate and waiting in line I made several more failed attempts to retreive the tickets, When I finally arrived at the gate, it was 2:45 and NO tickets. The gatekeeper tried to help me also, and stated I need to call the company because they were unable to allow entry without the valid ticket with the barcode. We got out of line and I tried to call !
I tried calling several times over the holiday weekend and was not able to speak to anyone. I notified PAYPAL, and my back that I wanted to stop payment. I was told to contact the company first to see if they would help me considering they have the 100% money back guarantee. The bank gave me a different phone number from which I had. I was given [protected]. I was finally able to speak to a person named Juan on September 7, 2022. Juan stated that he could not help me because they initiated the transfer. I explained that I never received the tickets, only the email stating that the transfer was pending. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was informed that the supervisors do NOT talk to customers. I explained they were being deceptive with their 100% guarantee for non-delivery. Once again he repeated that they have the notice showing where they initiated the transfer. The call did NO good.
Desired outcome: 100% REFUND as stated when the tickets DO NOT arrive by the start of the event. The tickets NEVER arrived.
Tickets purchased
I purchased tickets to the motley Crüe concert in Seattle in 2019. This changed due to Covid, but we did not get a refund because it was getting rescheduled.
The dates changed 4 times and due to everything that happened during the pandemic and the dates changing almost 2 years later. I could not attend. Just another company who still made money over COVID. Absolutely disgusting.

Downgraded Tickets Sent - Not what I paid for.
When I purchased my two tickets online to Morgan Wallen, it clearly stated that the tickets guaranteed seating in the first 15 rows (pit tickets). What I received were tickets in Section B, Row N, Seats 147 & 148. This is not what I paid for. At this venue, Section B is behind the Pit. IE, Hundreds of people are standing in front of you. I would never have the paid this amount of money for average seats. I paid for the first 15 rows. When I called Vivid Seats Customer Service, they said their policy states that these tickets are "in the same Zone so they cant help me". This is absurd! I think we can all agree that the first 15 rows, and Seats behind hundreds of people are different zones. Good Grief. I simply want a partial refund because I feel that is fair. I did not get what I paid for.

I purchased 5 tickets to the Atlanta Falcons vs. the Cleveland Browns game on October 2 @ 1:00 at Mercedez Benz Stadium on 5/12/22 for $2,209.87 from Vivid Seats. Long story short the ticket transfer did not go smoothly. There was some type of electronic glitch. My initial attempt to create a Ticketmaster account I got an error message the App didn't recognize my email address. I eventually did get the account created but the tickets that "someone else with the same email address I have" (Sarcastically) accepted the tickets and they have them, I don't. Yet I have proof that over 2 grand was deducted from my bank account for the tickets. Vivid nor Ticketmaster seem to care about my issue. I just want the tickets I spent my hard earned money on. Especially since Vivid. says they have a no refund policy unless the event is cancelled.

Purchase of what seemed to be tickets
On August 13, 2022 I purchased what looked to be 2 concert tickets from vivid seats. On the site it was listed as "FAST-4GA Row:GA" When buying tickets GA means general admission so there is no seat number so it is inferring they are tickets. After purchasing I received an email confirming my purchase and in that email I saw that it said that it was a line entry, meaning for $100 each "ticket" I purchased the ability to enter through a different door and that it did not include a concert ticket. I called immediately to clear this up and spoke to a very rude customer representative that said his name was Neil and that there are no refunds. I feel that this was very deceptive marketing as the title for the purchase should be listed as FAST PASS LANE ENTRY- NOT A TICKET since that is what it is. The original ticket price is $42.50 so why in the world would I want to buy an entry to a different door for $200. Very deceptive and unfair marketing.

I bought tickets on Jan. 8th of 2020, which the event was to be Aug. 8th of 2020. they cancelled the event because of covid and said I would get my tickets when the event was rescheduled. The event was then rescheduled for July of 2021and then cancelled again. I then got an email saying that I would get my tickets for the new scheduled event for July 30, 2022, 3 days before the event I still did not have my tickets, I spent many hours on live chat and on the phone with them, telling me I would have my tickets for the day of the event. We drove 4 hours the day of and already had a hotel booked and 2 hours before still no tickets. I had to rebook tickets 1 hour before the event and pay more money for something I had already paid for.

These people are thieves and liars. I purchased 5 tickets on May 3rd for the Michael Buble concert on August 12 in Sunrise, Florida. We paid $1,279.45 for these tickets. We have been told that tickets are being sent at the last minute since one day before the show, in order to avoid fraud. Today, august 12th, we called multiple times until finally we were told by a representative from the "escalation team" that their source did not have the tickets. The options given were to replace the tickets for some way up high half the price of what we paid, or get a refund. None of the options worked for us... NEVER will I use this company again

07-12-22 at 5:57 A.M. I purchased tickets through you company for the September 11, 2022 Rodeo. Order number [protected]. I paid $322.17 for 3 seats. These seats sell for $35.00 each. I feel that you overcharged me. I do expect a refund of the differance that the seats should sell for.
If, I don't receive a responce and refund for the differance, I will never purchase tickets through company again. And, I will never refer you to any of my friends and family.
In my eyes I trully beleive you are a rip off company. My friends and I attend several differant venues and purchase tickets online. But, that won't happen with your company.

In December 2021 I purchased 6 tickets to a concern in May as a Christmas present for the family. We paid about $500 for the tickets in total. We were given multiple different messages from Vivid seats regarding the tickets. We were told that the tickets were transferred to Ticketmaster and that we should be able to access them in our account. We were also told that the tickets would show up within 48 hours on the event. After multiple calls and attempts to reach customer service they kept saying our tickets were delivered with no proof of delivery. We could not access or find on Ticketmaster and vivid customer dis-service. Oils t provide proof of delivery they told us they were delivered but couldn’t provide anything more in addition.
Desired outcome: Full refund and apology for lack of ticket delivery. Customer identification can be provided if needed.

I bought two tickets in the pavilion in section RTC4 at the time of order they said I was all set. I then I received an electronic transfer notification which I followed through on. The tickets were in TTC3 seats 30 and 31 in corner. I complained and they advised these were upgrade tickets and no refund would be issued. I then twitted Customer Service and again advised these were upgrade. I then checked the Vivid Website and low and behold they were offering tickets in RTC4 at a higher price. Ticket cancellation the day of the show
I had an expensive ticket to the Garrison Keillor show at Red Rocks. Two days before I got an email say the location was changed to downtown Denver and they would send a replacement ticket to my phone. Then the day of the event I got an email cancelling my ticket. The email made a vague reference to covid 19 but no definite reason was given. I later found out that they were not keeping people 6 ft. apart so covid 19 was not the reason. And in checking with the Keillor show I found that the show was not sold out! And Vivid Seats did not tell them that they had cancelled tickets that were already paid for.
I do not expect Keillor to come back to Denver at his age. I had listened to his show on the radio (and bought many of his books) for many years. I am very disappointed in not being able to attend the show.
Vivid Seats has not responded to my email. I am not sure of the reason for the cancellation but since they are a reseller they probably had a customer that was willing to pay more for my ticket. Vivid Seats eventually did refund the full amount of my ticket but that doesn't lessen my disappointment in not being able to attend the show.
Desired outcome: I would like to warm people to avoid buying tickets through Vivid Seats. I don't expect they are willing to give an apology. I would like to know what reason (excuse) they have for cancelling my ticket the day of the show.
Purchased tickets and they were sent to a non existent email
my mother had recently purchased WDW tickets for a concert event happening in august in a nearby location and she paid almost $400 for these tickets and they were emailed to an email address that has since been deactivated almost 5 years ago. There is no way to access the email in any way shape or form. Vivid seats will not resend the tickets to a valid active email address at all. They will not refund the money either. Anytime I send out an email, if it is invalid, it automatically kicks back saying no email address found with some sort of notification. I am disgusted and appalled at the customer service of vivid seats. And when my mother first called about the issues they told her there is no order or record of the purchase and basically she was [censored] out of luck Then a couple days later vivid seats called her back stating "oh year the order is here I don't know why they told you it wasn't but we still can't help you or email the tickets again to a different email address". WE will never again recommend or go through vivid seats for anything. There was no help at all from them. They were rude and not accomadating at all.

Received incorrect order
June 13, 2022 I purchased concert tickets. I specifically chose a section my whole group is in. Received a correct order confirmation but when the tickets came in they moved me to a different section. Apparently it is in the "small print" they have the right to move you if seats are comparable. They wont move me back or give me a refund. Terrible way to do business this way. Very self centered and in my opinion unethical to sell me something and deliver something different.
Terrible Vivid Seats Customer Service
I bought 3 tickets (almost $600) to Hamilton in Seattle WA on Thursday, June 2, 2022. I received an email indicating the tickets were ready for download, just as I expected (I've bought and sold tickets for years on Ticketmaster, Stubhub, NFL and NHL TicketExchange, Epic Seats, etc). However, the download link sent me to a Ticketmaster page that said "Oops, Something Went Wrong."
I contacted Vivid Seats customer service. They said it was a systemic issue and that many buyers were experiencing the same issue. Then, they asked for an alternate email and claimed they would reach out to the seller. (I don’t know why they would need the seller to resend over a Vivid technical issue).
Hearing nothing for 2+ days, I recontacted Vivid on Saturday, June 4. They blamed the buyer (listed as a Super Seller!) and said I would just have to wait. I informed them this wasn't feasible as I was planning for a family event and would just prefer a refund. Of course, they refused and eventually hung up on me (in chat!).
It is now Tuesday, June 7. Still no contact from Vivid. Apparently Vivid can’t (1) fix their own technical issue or (2) contact one of their own Super Sellers or (3) just refund $ in 5 days time. Save your money and stay away from Vivid. I’ll happily update this if Vivid every provides appropriate customer service.

As an update to my complaint above, it is now Aug 26, the night before the event and almost 3 months since I placed the order. I have spent countless hours with Vivid customer service and I've lost count of the number of "Sr. Customer Care Specialists" I've spoken with. Still no tickets. And the icing on the cake is that tonight's representative, the 3rd I've spoken with in 2 days, said Vivid (1) will not refund my money, and (2) will not honor their "100% Buyer Guarantee" because their system shows the tickets were delivered in June. When I asked the rep why I would call back countless times begging for help if the tickets were delivered, he had no response. I honestly can't believe how bad my experience with Vivid Seats has been.
Please, save yourself a lot of money and heartache and NEVER use Vivid Seats.

Tickets were ordered and paid for in full. upon order confirmation, the info said that the tickets may not be available until the day before the show. These were electronic tickets and should have been delivered immediately. I call, and they said they would refund if i did not get the tickets before the show. I told them getting refund 6 months later and 24 hours until the event was not a valid option. they openly admitted that they did not have the tickets and could not confirm the tickets whereabouts. i asked for a cancellation or refund numerous times, which they denied. i ended up having my credit card company deal with their false promises and shady business practices. All around terrible experience.
Desired outcome: i would like for vivid to change their broker policy. if they cannot confirm the tickets to be valid, they should not sell them to a 3rd party.
I wish I had found this site before buying tickets from Vivid, this just happened to me also. Worse, they sent me an email indicating the tickets were ready for download but the link was broken. I contacted customer service, they said they'd fix the issue, and now 3 more days have passed. I re-contacted customer service and now they are blaming the seller. Nice. I told them the same thing as you, that not having any assurance of getting the tickets until 24 hours before the event wasn't helpful when planning for a family event. My customer service rep was iraida.rodriguez. If you get her, save yourself some time and just disconnect.
A full refund on the initial purchase from the 2/28/2020 event.
On 3/11/2020 I received an email from Vivid Seats stating that an event I purchased tickets for had been cancelled. The email went on to state the refund/credit options which were: If customer wanted a refund (versus a credit) they would need not to respond back as it would automatically be returned. (I have the original email).
If the customer chose for a credit they just needed to respond requesting one and the customer would receive a credit for the original cost plus a 20% bonus.
I did not respond as I wanted a refund due to the amount (almost $900.00).
The original email did state that it could take a few weeks as we were at the start of the pandemic.
On 6/7/2020 I had not heard back from Vivid Seats nor received my refund. I contacted them to receive a update and the response back from them stated that they emailed me on 4/15/2020 "explaining"your compensation options". At that point I forwarded them the initial cancellation email which showed my options and pointed out that I wanted a refund and based upon the initial email I did what they asked for that, which was nothing at the time.
I did not receive a response back.
I continued to contact them through their website with no response back from them numerous times.
2 years later I attempted to use this credit (which was only with a 10" bonus instead of the 20% as originally stated, and that event was cancelled and the notification came from Vivid Seats on 3/22/2022. At that point I contacted Vivid Seats requesting a refund and was denied. I had numerous emails and "live chatting" from different people at Vivid Seats on 5/11 and 5/12/2022 again requesting a refund and stating my position on the matter and every time I was either denied refund or no response.
If Vivid Seats wanted to change there 100" money back guarantee on cancellations then that should have been at the time of purchase/sale and not afterwards.
In follow up, Vivid Seats makes you run through hoops to contact them (unless you are purchasing something). Numerous times I tried contacting them through their website and was ignored. Horrible customer service.
Not delivering seats
I have purchased tickets from Vivid Seats on April 9, 2022, to see Counting Crows in Orlando on April 28, 2022. Originally I received an email stating that I would receive my tickets on April 9, 2022, after I paid in full with my Paypal account. By April 15, still did not receive the tickets and called Vivid Seats,
After the call, I felt it was a Scam and reported the issue to Paypal, I filed a claim and purchased new tickets with another vendor thinking I would get my money back or if I get the original tickets, could invite friends to the concert.
I received another email stating now that the delivery date was changed to April 26, 2022, Did not get the tickets from Vivid Seats.
I recently found out that Paypal did not resolve this in my favor, not sure how that is possible, call the vendor again, and nothing. They simply took my money I have screenshots of my conversations, I just can't believe that Paypal favors the vendor and not me, clearly, someone did not look at the information provided.

Grossly overcharged for tickets/ customer service refusal to cancel tickets
Vivid Seats charged me $144 for 2 tickets priced at $33 each on the event website, Big Cork Vineyards. Tickets for the Absolute Queen Concert are supposed to be available on the Maryland Theater website, but I was routed to Vivid Seats when I tapped on the event. When I called Vivid Seats to cancel the tickets the Customer Service a recorded message stated that there are no refunds per the contract and that tickets would be sent a few days before the event. Note that the tickets for the 6/25/22 event were ordered on 5/4/22. This is a scam operation and I am calling my credit card company to cancel the sale.
Desired outcome: I want a full refund for the tickets. If this cannot be resolved with Vivid Seats I will pursue resolution through the credit card company.
