Last year I purchased a Bissell home carpet cleaner. Took it home and read all of the instructions to a tee. It worked very well for the next 2 times, then it suddenly quit. After 3 months I had not saved my receipt. I boxed it up and took it back to get a new one, which they did not have any like the one I purchased. So the customer service person told me...

Walmart fraud/account hacked

On Sunday I got a call fromt he fraud department of my bank asking if at midnight last night I had made a $281 purchase through walmart.com. I was working at the time so informed that hell no I didn't and they explained that also that morning it looked like another charge for almost $300 was attempted through walmart.com but they had blocked it, thank god. I called walmart.com and explained that it was a fraudulent charge and they needed to immediately cancel that order and not charge my account. The first person I spoke to said they would escalate it to their accounting dept. and get it cancelled. I then logged into my walmoart.com account to change my password and remove my card and lo and behold, there was the order the person had placed as well as all the items in my shopping cart from the second order they tried to place. The first order contained a $200 egift card, a router and protection plan, I'm guessing they did this as a trial run to see if my card would charge because the second set of items were marked as In Store Pickup and they would have gotten all that stuff if my bank hadn't blocked that second charge. So today (3 days later) I check my bank account to see if the pending $281 charge had fallen off the account do to the cancellation and THEY STILL CHARGED ME $78! Of course when I try to call them I'm left on hold for 15 minutes and can't get through to anyone. THeir site is absolutely NOT SECURE. They need to shut down before they endanger anyone else's finances because of this. And before anyone starts saying that I was phished or someone "guessed" my password...It's such a random series of letters, numbers and characters that no one could have simply guessed it. If they don't realize that their system has been hacked then it's probably an employee that can get access to it and is doing it.

My account has just been hacked. I got email from walmart, saying "Dear XXXX, Personal information associated with your Walmart.com account . . . has been successfully updated as requested. . . . If you did not make these changes to your account, please call us immediately at 1-800-yyy-yyyy [correct Walmart customer service number]." I haven't accessed my account for a year or two. My name isn't the name in "Dear XXXX" in the email. Sure enough, I found I cannot login to my account because the impostor has changed the email address and email address is the login name (what a stupid system, you can change your login name!). I called the customer service and the representative verified my home phone number is associated with Mr XXXX, but all other information is different from mine: name, billing address & email. Therefore, she cannot do anything because she cannot verify it's my account! I thought the fact I got the email from Walmart (I verified the original SMTP server is Walmart's) and the fact my home phone is there are proof enough. The Walmart technical guys must be able to see what the information had been before the impostor overwrote it, but the customer service representative didn't even open an investigation. They don't think this is a serious problem. It's not their problem, was the ultimate message from the customer service.

The same sort of thing happened to me and Wal-Mart just said "we're sorry." I will have to dispute the charge with my bank. Wal-Mart automatically saves all credit card info. and you have to clear your payment info. every time you shop online to protect yourself!

Walmart racism/discrimination

I know you have a repitution for hiring disabled people but enough is enough. You have one worker in your store who is obvioiusly disqualified to do her job. That person I know from the neighbor hood had downe syndrom. When I told her to stop being stupid and get to work she called the manager and the manager told me if I were going to be bothering his employees(freeks in this case) that I would have to leave the store. I told him I would not leave the store until I finished my shoping and got my prescriptions refiled. I refused to leave the store and that racist manager called a security gurd who told me to leave and he threatened to call the cops if i did not leave. this was because i was black and just stating my beliefs that they should not hire disabled people just to look good. this is prejudice and racism and discrimination

Further more someone brought a dog in the store, I reported it to the manager and the manager(same one who was racist) told me that that dog is allowed in the store since it is a working dog. he lied and said by law they can't ask the person to leave the store. I left the store without paing for a thing just left my bugie in the store. First of all the person who had the dog was not blind they are just lying because they are not blind they have other disabilty.. Second I have alleriy to dog fur and I should be allowed to shop in piece without having to worry about alergiy. I told the manager that perhaps that person shoujld have a social worker and than reported this to health bored of course the health bored was scared to go against a big compeny so they said guide dogs were aloud.

You should be ashamed of yourself! First you treat a person with disrespect, then are angered with the manager because they didn't take your side. It matters little that she was disabled. I would never speak to anyone in that manner! And before you complain about a service dog, please get your facts straight. Do you even know the multitude of disabilities for which a person may need a service animal? You scream that your rights are being violated, yet you are the first to violate theirs. Get off your high horse and realize that not every response to your rude behavior is because your skin is a little dark. Maybe, just maybe, it's because you are being a wonderful example of a horse's ###.

Walmart removing items from shelves

I totally agree. I for one will be avoiding Walmart like the plague! I will be letting others know to not shop there no matter what the "sale" is. I've noticed myself how the shelves are empty and never have the items that are supposed to be on sale. Most of the staff at Walmart are rude or don't even bother to ask if you need help or if you are looking for anything. They don't want your business, so why bother going there? Spend the extra money and go elsewhere where the service is 100% better and the merchandise is better.

after seeing the condition of the boxes the merchandise is in at Walmart you don't need to ask how it is better at other vendors. Sides kicked in, then taped. So you tell me how they're not better elsewhere Why The Long Faces.

Right. The manager told you they were hiding the merchandise from you. You are so full of it your eyes are brown. Why don't you share with the class the location of this evil store and the crooked managers name, hmmmm?

I want to call and hear that myself. I thought I had heard it all.

Just so you know Why The Long Face, after speaking to the manger of THAT store, it just so happens that what I saw was what happened! AND the matter is being handled. I have also worked at Walmart in the past and I do know how some things work there. The fact that YOU have an opinion on just about everything here on this complaint board shows that you need to find something better to do with your time than make others feel like they don't know what they are talking about. It seems that YOU think you know something about every thing that happens in this world. You in my opinion are no help to anyone here and should be removed.

Seriously, no one, especially not me, ever said you did not see what you saw. I never called you a liar either. I merely told you that what you saw was not them hiding merchandise from you. I also stated many times that vendor recalls do not involve every product as some are still on the manufacturers resell list. Some get discontinued and are never sold again. Some, get sent to busier stores. Some stay. It is a vendor return. WE call it a vendor RECALL. Again, for the millionth time, what we do is NOT the same as a product safety recall. You simply DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE HELL YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT, and every time you get it explained in second grade terms you still refuse to accept that someone who works there and does that job every damn day knows better than you.

YES, I know MORE and BETTER than you do. I know it because I do it every day. So, continue your rant, continue believing that a business in the business of making money somehow does not want to make money off of you. Maybe your delusion will somehow clear itself up. IF you get a JOB at ANY store as the RETURN specialist. But I doubt it.

I did not read all that jumble simply because from the tone of all of your posts you seem like one of those people who no matter what anyone says, Walmart is the devil and you were somehow harmed by their every day activities. I even went so far as to explain, in great detail, how a vendor return worked, and you STILL asked how come not all of the product was removed. If you go back and read all of my posts, you will read that I have already explained that VENDORS CALL BACK ALL ITEMS THEY DO NOT WANT MARKED DOWN. ITEMS THAT DO NOT SELL GET SENT BACK. ITEMS THAT DO SELL STAY. ITEMS THAT ARE DISCONTINUED GET SENT BACK. ITEMS THAT DO NOT STAY. How is that hard in any way to understand? I repeated it several times. You now know more about a Walmart department manager's job than anyone else who does not work there, and you still refuse to grasp that YOU ARE WRONG.

As for me not being there, you gave all the information someone who does work there would need to clarify the situation. YOU posted the information...unless you were lieing. Spread it around even. Show everyone who works at Walmart, hell at any retail store, what a freaking paranoid ### you are. The few who do not work in retail and deal with vendors will believe you, because hey, everyone hates some store for some ignorant reason.

You know what, never mind...yes it is a conspiracy. It always is. Walmart has gadzillions of dollars and does not want yours, so every time we see you coming with your sales ad, we read your mind and pull all of the product the brain waves said you wanted to buy... Bwaaahaaaa...We have nothing else to do all day so pulling thousand of dollars from the shelves to hide in our magic room to keep you from buying it makes us giggle like fools. You should really get a job at Walmart so you can do this to all the people you don't like.

Got to run...Tomorrow the new sales ads come out and I got to man the door so I can see you coming., .Let me get my magic decoder ear piece and NASA reflective mind reading glasses...

Walmart has trained liars in their automobile service department. Recently went to Walmart in Chardon, Ohio for an oil change - advertised at $16.95. Left my car at the service department, went back in 45 minutes (they told me it would take 1/2 hour to change the oil. When i got there the manager, Randy, of the auto department told me they couldn't change my oil because my car took 10W40 oil and neither did they have the filter for it - hmmm a 2002 Kia Sportage according to the fluid specs takes 5W30. I was furious, went to a local oil change place and they printed the specs out for me and also told me that they often go to Walmart to get filters should they run out. Of course, complaints got me nowhere - but an insulting $20 gift certificate.
The store shelves are empty - haven't had many of the items I usually purchase there for several weeks. The store is FILTHY, especially in the diary section, sticky stuff on the floor for over a YEAR! They claim to carry gluten-free products NOT.

Walmart petmate taxi

I drove to two different Walmart stores, one at Stapleton and the store on Wadsworth and W Colfax looking for a Petmate Taxi for my pet.I wasted 5 or more gallons of gas and both of these stores didn't have any and it was a big waste of time.Their slogan is you can save money instead of buying at the grocery store but I will never step foot in another Walmart store again. All their stores are so far away and their discounts don't off set the gas you use to get to their stores.

Walmart closed down my card without notifying me

Last week, I disputed a charge that I didnt authorize. I called them and they told me to go to there website, file a dispute, print out the form, send it to them, then they will review it so, I said forget it. I told them that I want going to cancel it because I had a refund that was going to hit my card in a few days. So the next week my refund hit my card and I tried to use it and it declined. So I called them and they said they closed down the card permenantly because I disputed a charge. And then lied and said they contacted me before they closed my account. They said they can refund me my money but I needed it that day, I had a bill to pay and kids to feed. They didnt even care. I was pissed. I was really counting on that money. Worst service ever! Dont get a walmart money card!

I too had trouble canceling my Wal-mart money card until I called the BBB. Made a complaint and the contact for Green-dot Corporation called me a few days later. He asked me a few questions and then said he would refund the $8 or $9 purchase price. He was very nice and I would have settled for just stopping the texting and closing the account. Don't give up...file a complaint.

Walmart broke their promise

In the Electronics section to show how the picture works they usually show movies on the television. This particular location (New York City, New York) the manager allows customers to select movies that would be played for a week. Some guy choose Harry Potter, another person Choose the new James Bond movie. I told the manager that I wanted them to play a Russ Meyer movie and he refused.

Walmart not so special orders

I would like to share my special Wal-Mart experience. I have placed several orders online for products and they usually arrive without issue, yet when Wal-Mart makes the mistake the customer is wrong. I talked with 4 employees one who claimed she was the supervisor Tonya 10050 (most likely fictitious). I was told by all what they could not do but no one offered a solution or any help other than this is our corporate policy. I understand that Wal-Mart is the largest employer in the world, and they have so many mega centers, but I remember a time when Montgomery Ward’s, and Sears, Ruled the retail industry, I remember when Best-Buy was a leader and like everything else they forget the number one rule and that is that to lose a customer even one will lead to a downfall. Regardless of the error a simple action can correct the issue and make a raving fan, or be a beaurocract and lose a customer. So after much fuss and little accomplished and the loss of a loyal customer I with Wal-Mart well but I will keep my purchase to a minimum and share how little Wal-Mart thinks of their customer and just wait, because all the other company that took this stance are either gone, or going. Wal-Mart is on its way to the grave yard of lost customer service and lost customers.

And I did not get a refund, a sorry, or a go to hell I just got what they will not do, and so my order sets in some store that is too far for me to drive too nor will I drive too. Thank you Tonya I hope you have the same experience!

is actually N.E W. They do not honor the warranty. For several weeks they have promised to send
a return label, then they promised to send a new one, then they promised to reimburse me...All
I ever received from them were PROMISES. Shame on Walmart and shame on N.E.W. I am

N.E. W. has their LLC. They list their address with a po box, no street address. This is a fraudulent company. Please beware.

Walmart just plain rude

I have taking medication for going on 5 years now. I have run into theis problem for I can only guess thee 20the time? When you fill your prescriptions at walmart, thee people who take your scripts from you or who look them up for you on their computer type cash register (to see if they have been filled) don't bother to keep any of your information quiet. I have what is called Badgercare (wisconsin's medicare) and when teey find out that is the source of your payment, you automatically get treated like trailer trash with rude comments and when you ask when your prescriptions will be done, I know about 10 people who were told "when we can get to them". When you come to pick them up, heaven forbid you have a co-pay because they make sure anyone in earshot knows what medicine you have and what that co-payment is. They always tell you that you should call around 2 or 3 days before your medications are out in case of pre-authorizations and in case they need to call the doctor for another refill. So you do what they ask you and if you have a prescription for say 6 monthes of refills, they wait until your last call in, when you come to pick up your medication, they will tell you "according to OUR records you should have 20 days of medication on you so we will NOT fill this until such and such a date" At the same time you are informed to toss or destroy your medications that are 30 days old? So how do I get passed this now? Its the most frustrating thing to have someone tell you can't have your medication because of their count, even if you are standing there with a prescription from your doctor?!?!?!?!? So now this time I went to see my doctor on friday, he asked when my refill day is and I told him Sunday so they sent the script over to Walmart. When I called on saturday afternoon to see if it was going to be available to pick up on Sunday (if they were open) they told me teat they were completely out of the medication and IF...IF? IF I was lucky I'd have my medication by monday afternoon...and left it at that. I wasnt allowed to ask any questions... So you see, the pharmacy in this Ashland walmart is rude and unprofessional to us less blessed with money. But also, most of the ladies that work in customer service there are worse...they are more rude than the pharmacy...I think this whole store needs work, when I go to visit my mom in Cloquet Minnesota, their Walmart employees put my home town to shame...its annoying!

I swear that was painful to read. Ok, let me get this straight...customers do not follow HIPPA law that is plainly posted all around the pharmacy and stand back while you are doing your transaction, so they hear your information. Second, when you are on a medication for 6 months, they tell you that you have to wait because you should have XX amount of pills left. Third, they tell you they will get to it when they can.

Right? Ok.

Number 1. The pharmacy personnel can tell customers all day long to stand back ( I know I do it all day everyday) and recite the law to them. It does not work. Customers feel they are allowed to do what they want when they want, and if you try to tell them anything, they kick up a fuss and complain. Therefore, it becomes YOUR responsibility to tell nosy customers to back up and get the hell out of your personal business. I do when I am the patient.

Number 2. Medicaid, in fact, EVERY insurer will keep a log of how many pills you should have in a 180 day rotation. They do not count month to month, they count DAYS supply. if you are on a 30 days supply for 6 months, then in 6 months of filling you should have taken 180 pills. Now, if you are filling and it tells you that you should have pills left, then you need to ask yourself WHY. Because some months have 28 days (you would have 2 pills left), some have 30 days (no pills left) and some have 31 days (you would have none left). SOME medications you can fill up to a week early, BUT early refills COUNT in the rotation, therefore, when you feel a week early everytime, then by the time 180 days rolls around, you are at least 35 pills ahead of the schedule. CALL YOUR INSURANCE when the pharmacy staff tell you they can not fill. The insurance is what decides when you fill IF you are billing them for payment.

Number 3. Every Walmart has a sign that says REFILLS WILL TAKE 24 HOURS. They do run out and sometimes they have to order. It happens at EVERY pharmacy.

Please use your brain.Pharmacies are a BUSINESS in the BUSINESS to make MONEY. NOT filling scripts for the hell of it does NOT make them money. So when they tell you NO there is ALWAYS a good reason. ASK why, and LISTEN.

Walmart wrong glasses ordered

I went to Wal Mart Vision to get glasses because they are the only people in town my insurance has approved to get glasses. These glasses were important because they are my first pair of bifocals, pretty big deal to me. I had my exam and turned in the script to them on the 5th of February 2013. They stated that it would be approx 2 weeks. Not a problem, I thought as much. To my surprise they called me on the 14th stating they were done. I went down to pick them up and tried them on and I couldn't see out of them, not the bifocal part, but the distance part. Low and behold, the original sales person who had placed the order had entered the wrong prescription for one of the lenses. Instead of -2.50 -.25, she entered -2.50 -2.50. A different sales person saw the error and said they would have them redone. She would try and put a rush on them, but could not promise anything. I called the Vision Store today 2/20/13 and asked if my glasses were in yet. The sales person on the phone placed me on hold and came back to say that they would not be in until April 4th. I was shocked, I explained that I had initially received the wrong prescription the previous week and they were a re-do, was she sure that it was April 4th, she said yes, I said are you sure, the re-do was going to take 2 months, pretty expensive re-do. The sales person said oh no wait I forgot we were still in February, they were do in on March 4th. So which is it, some random date my glasses are actually do and I will be pleasantly surprised when they come in early OR does the RUSH job actually take longer than the initial order. I will never order glasses from these folks again. I will drive the 60 miles to go to another insurance approved vendor.

this is about the neighborhood market walmart on alafaya near mcculloch. this complaint is about a stupid rude cashier...who purposely said NOTHING to a customer just to be a jerk. I went to this cashier...some idiot spic jerk...he didnt say a WORD to me. ok fine he didnt greet me..say hi how are you...or anything. however at least...you can say..your total is...he said NOTHING. the entire transaction this ###...said NOTHING. he did it on purpose of course...just to be RUDE. why...who knows? he's rude to attractive women like most ugly orlando males who are jealous/insecure and want to upset/anger them it seems. I found it crazy that the entire transaction he said NOTHING...that is ABSURD AND UNCALLED FOR. now i have dealt with MANY rude cashiers in my life...but i have NEVER encountered one who says not one single word to someone...thats your JOB...to say SOMETHING. you can't just stand there and say NOTHING to a customer...it was very very upsetting...because of how unnatural/abnormal it is. i have NEVER in my life encountered this and this jerk rude a**hole working there shouldn't even be WORKING as a cashier if he can't do his job at all and finds it fun to ignore customers completely and treat them like crap. he didnt even bring up the total...he just rung everything up like a ### spic and looked away...RUDE...i was about to say...wow really? you cant even give a total... is that how they teach you how to be a cashier? it almost seems as if he was trying to provoke me into getting upset which he was...and why? because im attractive and he is an ugly insecure orlando loser male who picks on attractive women? crazy people in this city... abnormal sick and weird...and at this awful wal-mart...beware...the psycho wal-mart trash can't even do their jobs and find it humorous to treat customers like crap and say nothing ot them at all and look away for no reason... I know this drill because there are many insecure sick males out there...when they encounter attractive women they aren't intimidated...they literally will ABUSE them for fun out of insecurity...they try to provoke or anger them or just treat them really badly...they are VERY rude for no reason and thats what this ### did for no reason. ive also encountered rude cashiers before...who dont say anything to you-- rarely but it happens...but at the very LEAST they give you the total... but the manner of RUDENESS this jerk showed...i cant describe...kind of like...hey im going to purposely not say a single word to you...and just be a jerk...### like this who cant even speak to customers at all shouldnt even BE working as cashiers...

Walmart ruined valentines day

I have a wife and I am currently dating someone that is in her 20's, because frankly after being married to the same woman for 40 years she is getting kind of old and boring but I still love her.

I thought that if I bought them chocolate for valentines day I would score twice right. I also thought you would have your chocolate on sale for like 90 percent off so I had very limited money in my wallet. I only had money to buy chocolates for one of the women that I wanted to play rock the castle with. I had to make a tough decision and decided to get the chocolates for my wife. This caused me to only score once tonight and my girlfriend dumped me.

If it is the day of Valentines Day the chocolate should be 90 percent off.

A word of advice Walmart Pharmacy: in order to call yourself a PHARMACY it might be beneficial to actually STOCK medications for your customers. From showing up to fill a simple one month...

Walmart wrong prices and rude employees

I shop at this store at least twice a week and every time I am charged the wrong price on different items, esp. produce. Today I was there and was charged the wrong price on Granny Smith apples and plums. I spoke to an employee in produce to tell him and he was very rude to me and just walked away. Two weeks ago I was charged the wrong price on some jewelry that was marked down. Every week I buy blueberries and for 2 months they didn't have any. I also wanted to buy a cantaloupe and all they had were rotten ones. I spoke to an employee and again he was very rude and walked away. This is so tiresome. Why can't they get the prices right and have nice employees?

Walmart is a multinational retail corporation that operates a chain of hypermarkets, discount department stores, and grocery stores. The company was founded in 1962 by Sam Walton and has since grown to become one of the largest retailers in the world. Walmart's headquarters are located in Bentonville, Arkansas, and the company has over 11,000 stores in 27 countries worldwide.

Walmart is known for its low prices and wide selection of products. The company offers a variety of goods, including groceries, clothing, electronics, home goods, and more. Walmart's online store, walmart.com, allows customers to shop for products from the comfort of their own homes and have them delivered directly to their doorstep.

In addition to its retail operations, Walmart is also involved in a number of philanthropic efforts. The company has donated millions of dollars to various charitable organizations and has launched initiatives to support education, hunger relief, and sustainability.

Walmart has faced criticism in the past for its labor practices and impact on small businesses. However, the company has taken steps to improve its image and has implemented policies to increase wages and benefits for its employees.
