My daughter, an autism teacher and mother of three elementary school children went to her Wendy's tonight to get points for their school - Occoquan Elementary School, Prince William County, Virginia. She went from her busy school day to ensure that their school received the credit for the meals purchased at that time. As she drove off, she realized that she didn't tell them why she made the trip this evening - she is a busy teacher/mother! She called right back and provided her food order number to the Wendy's worker and was told it was too late to give her credit for her school! Shame on Wendy's! The whole purpose of her trip was to show her children that they had done a good deed for their school in getting dinner on the designated evening. And it was all for nothing! I cannot believe it would be so hard to add that information and credit Occoquan School for this teacher and her family's efforts on a busy evening. Seriously? Is that the message that Wendy's wants to send during these already difficult, turbulent times? That they are unwilling to do a little bit of public service?
Desired outcome: The desired outcome would be for Occoquan Elementary School, Prince William County, Virginia to receive credit for meals and frostys that were purchase this date to help support the school and its programs!
