Unable to play any games
I recently had to re-install my Vista Operating System and afterward found that the Wild Tangent Games App hangs when it comes up, so I'm unable to play any games at all. Their tech support led me through the usual "fixes" but, having had similar experiences with WT, I already anticipated there would be no resolution, which turned out to be the case. I have 29 Wild Coins remaining in my account which they refuse to refund to me, stating that I purchased them more than 6 months ago. I also use Big Fish, Iwin, Gamehouse, Steam and Shockwave, all of which came up normally after the reinstall of my operating system; once again, it's only Wild Tangent that has a problem which they are unable to resolve. It's not about the few dollars I've lost so much as it is about the fact that they have never, past or present, been able to help me with any problem, and even more the fact that they obviously don't care about their customer service. I regret having wasted the time and money and won't deal with them again.
The wildcoins
when I tried to play the game I downloaded a couple days ago I was able to play the game that day I downloaded the reason was that it gave me one free wild coin and the day after that I clicked on the game to play it and there was no free coin to use and to get the game started I was really mad and I did not even get the answers I am looking for and I am really mad about it and I wanted to play it so bad and I just think that they should give us free coins when we get the account made they do not even give us free coins and that is just not even fair I mean some of the account owners might not have enough money to put in to the account so they can keep getting wild coins and I do not think that is right so why don't they just let us earn the wild coins instead of have to use our own money to buy them and I went on the website they have so many non profit organizations that they deal with and they make us the people who want to play the games pay for the coins
I paid 19.99 for each I purchased more than seven games on my old computer but can not get the codes so that I can re-install to my New computer.
I purchased games from WildTangent such as Scrabble, Bookworm, Junk Yard, Chuzzled Deluxe, Bejeweled 3, Solitaire, Family Feud, etc. I can not remember my log-in information for WildTangent. but they should remember my name from my e-mail address

I would like for WildTangent to rectify my situation. I did not buy Coins or Rent these games, I bought these games for 19.99 each and I have nothing to show for it. I started buying games in 2007, because it helped me with my concentration after my second stroke. I think that it is UNFAIR that I can not get into my games I have already PAID for.

Having entered a yearly contract with Wild angent Games, by witch for a monthly fee I recive Wild Tangent coins, enabling me to play a wide variaty of games on their website.
However lately I have been unable to acctually play a lot of games after downloading them, but find I am still being charged the "Usage" fee in Wild Tangent coins as if I had played the game.
Last month I wrote to Wild Tangent asking to be released from the contract with no penalties as I am not able to get the services I am paying for, however Wild Tangent replied that they had rembursed me the Tangent coins I had lost, i soon discovered that they had not returned all my lost coins. Shortly after that I was charged the monthly fee again, now again I find I'm being charged fro games that either fail to load or if they do load, they don't play.
I wrote again pointing out the problem and asking to cancel my contract as I'm not reciving the service I pay for only to recive an e-mail with the heading Assistece Request Denied from Wild Tangent Account support.
Avoid this company
I am just another unfortunate victim that has been scammed by the Wild Tangent company. I was lead to believe that I was only buying a month’s worth of “Wild Coins” for my son, who likes to play the online games offered by Wild Tangent. But that, as it turned out, was not the case.
I has lectured my son about buying things on the internet, taught him to be wary and avoid and commitments to buy a 6 month or 12 month supply of something, etc, etc. Yet here we are, certain we were only buying one month’s worth of product when it turns out we had been signed up for a whole year!
I didn’t find this out until the following month when I was charged again for another batch of “Wild Coins”. I called the company immediately and tried to cancel, and they told me I had a remaining balance of $69.99 for 11 more months! I was outraged.
Since Wild Tangent wont do anything about this, I filed for dispute with my bank and reported my credit card as stolen. The whole thing was totally ridiculous. Someday someone is going to give scamming companies like Wild Tangent the punishment they deserve.
Same thing happened to me - and I am generally pretty savvy about terms and conditions. I though I was purchasing a single game, but somehow ended up on a monthly contract with them as well. I had to file official disputes as well in order to get it canceled because they claimed I would owe them additional cancellation fees.
I'm in the same boat. The original agreement page clearly says you're purchasing $6.99 worth of WildCoins, but you're agreeing to a 12-month contract. I'm furious.
cancellation of games
On 3/15/11 I cancelled HP Wild Club Games ( Wild Tangent) I received an email confirming this cancellation. However, monthly charges are still appearing on my Disney Visa Credit Card bill. I have a copy of this cancellation notice.
I have been unable to contact HP through the internet and I cannot find a telephone number contact them over the telephone.
ya'll are crooks if u ask me. this should not be so difficult to deal with. My kid enjoyed the game she out grew it and now i need you to stop billing me period.
well i have tried to get wildtangent to stop billing me and i have no idea how to cancel this. My kid does not even use the game any more,
Unclear Billing Information
am emailing this message because i recently bought 50 wildcard points. After buying I shortly recieved the email below stating that for the next 12 months i will have to pay $6.99 per month. I was not aware of this, and only wanted the 50 coins for 1 month. I went on your website and i did see that this was posted:

When you sign up for a plan, such as the Super Saver Pack, you receive 50 WildCoins every month at a significant discount and agree to receive WildCoins each month for a predetermined number of months. This information is very clearly included in the terms of use document and displayed on screen when you purchase the plan.
Contrary to the statements above, the billing information was not clear about the 12 month purchase agrreement. I have no problem paying the initial $6.99 that i intended to buy. If you are concern with my usage "at a discounted price" I will infact pay you the $6.99 and you can cancel my order completely. (Essentially I intend not to play the games anymore) I'm sure you can understand the mix up, if you have any problems you can email me at this address or you can call me at [protected]. I bought a game (hopefully with the 50 coins I had to purchase) but no where did it say I was joing any kind of a club. All I wanted to do is purchase the game. I would appreciate being removed from the monthly billing as all I wanted was the game.

Hi, long time ago I bought the game bejewel and after that you have been sending wild coins every month and I have to pay them, what is the fact of buying something if you are going to pay it for ever. I have sent several request to asking to remove the sending of coins and it hasn't been possible, I will appreciate if you tell me what to do to drop down the sending of wild coins monthly, I never use the coins, I don't even know how to use them. I would like my account to reflect that I am requesting only one purchase of $6.99 for wild coins instead of the two. The complaint was useful in figuring out as to why I am now getting charged twice for the coins as I am getting twice the coins, but I only intended to purchase one set of wild coins per month instead of two. Please remove the second set of wild coins and refund my other $6.99 so my checking account will stop over drawing. This extra $6.99 is causing major problems with my checking account.

i ve been having this problem for years, since i started at your game site.I hAVE WASTED ALOT OF COINS PAST AND PRESENT.i pick my game it will come on, then i press play, the coin goes in the slot, then the screen says thank you for playing whatever game i was trying to play, i only play hidden object games.I never played the game at all, but it eats up my coins always, i should have done this sooner.

not able to play games
I have had nothing but trouble with wild tanget games. Each time I download a game it downloads right but when I go to play I can not get it to open. My console shows it is running but I have nothing on my screen. I can not eI ven close the game down unless I turn off my computer. I feel like I am being ripped off. When I can get into a game I can play for a while then the game closes out and to start again I have to keep using my wild coins. I have complained to wild tangents a few times but all I get bis a list of new things to try. I want an answer not a bunch of thins I have already tried. I have also requested a refund for all the coins I have wasted and ahve not recieved a reply. Wild tangents is just taking my money and I do not get any thing in return.

I purchased Bejeweled 2 Deluxe for $19.99 I received confirmation and the Backup Disc - CD that I bought for $8.95. I tried to access the game several times both with the site play button and also with the Backup Disc. I receive a notice that" Bejeweled 2 Deluxe has encountered a problem & needs to close. Sorry for inconvenience."

I could not get my games to work I followed your directions to erase the games which happened. Now I can't retrieve them. Again I followed the directions..Still no return of games .Have got some new ones waiting on line and a few have come through but they just won't work. Unauthorized Debit
I purchased a Bejeweled game from Wild Tangent for a one time fee of $6.99. THe following month they are redebiting my card for anoter $6.99 for "coins". They claim I signed up for a monthly service..WHICH i DID NOT. This company scams people and I have filed complaints with the attorney general in the states of Washington and Michigan. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH WILDTANGENT.

I have been playing the Vegas game on Wildtangent for quite some time. I have only one account, one name. The other day I signed on to keep my account at 10 days or more & suddenly there was someone else's name on my account! Not my name that was registered. This new person only had a small amount of money where I had millions!
I have tried through go through their HELP & Customer Service web sites & have had NO RESPONSES. I have called their phone number which only gives you options for Human Resources, Billing, or if you know the extension or name of who you wanted to reach you could dial them. Naturally you have no idea who works in technical support, but I still dialed in the first 3 letters of a name & got to someone's voicemail. I left a brief message, not indicating the reason for the call. We'll see if there is a call back.
I am at the verge of putting together a class action law suit against this company. Especially after reading all your complaints above. Anyone interested in joining a class suit please leave me a message. Big corporations like this think they are untouchable, they are not immune TRUST ME! It may take some time. But they can be taken down, first we will force them offline, there goes their money, of course from the small research I have done, it seems that China has most control..
I am so sick of unscrupulous companies. I certainly hope this gets to someone at Wildtangent who will remedy my situation in a timely manner.

I reported a unauthorized charge of $7. I got a reply from them saying they will refund the amount and cancel my account if I agree to purchase a game CD worth $20 from them on line. This is a game that came installed on my HP PC.
