I bought a 1918 Jaguar from Yates on April 15
I bought a 1918 Jaguar from Yates on April 15. I also got the extended warranty and maintenance package. On June 6, I went back to Yates to cancel the warranty and maintenance package because *** already covers them. I filled out the cancellation form and told them that Alaska FLU would get the refund check. But now, I've called many times and nobody knows what's happening. They said it would take 4 to 6 weeks, but that time has already gone by.
I bought a car and paid all the money after the financing didn't go through quick enough
I bought a car and paid all the money after the financing didn't go through quick enough. I canceled the Gap insurance, the maintenance contract, and service contract on 4/28. The refund for the gap insurance came on 5/6 and they said the other refund would take 4 to 5 weeks. After 5 weeks, I called the dealership and then went there in person. They told me it takes 6 to 8 weeks for the refund to come. Now, after 8 weeks, still no refund and when I try to contact them, they say they'll check and call me back but never do. It's bad enough that they raised the price of the car by $3000.00 from what the salesman said and the sales contract has the car mileage 500 less than what it actually is. I can live with those small things since I should have noticed them before I left.
Me and my wife bought a car from Yates Buick GMC in Arizona on 01/13/2022
Me and my wife bought a car from Yates Buick GMC in Arizona on 01/13/2022. I'm the buyer and my wife is the co-buyer. During the financing process, we were presented with various options. The finance representative spoke rapidly, pressuring us to decide quickly. One package offered included free oil changes without mentioning its non-refundable nature. We traded in the car within six months and learned the maintenance package was non-cancelable and non-refundable. Attempts to resolve this with the finance department were unsuccessful. The rushed contract signing didn't allow us time to thoroughly review the terms, costing us $1995.00 for the package.

I bought a 2012 Buick Enclave from Yates Buick GMC on 6/8
I bought a 2012 Buick Enclave from Yates Buick GMC on 6/8. The car had 76,000 miles on it and cost me $16,386.62. The very next day, while driving on the freeway during rush hour, the car suddenly lost acceleration and all the gauges started fluttering. On top of that, the SUV began to overheat. I had to get the SUV towed back to the dealer.
On 6/10, I went back to the dealer to find out what was wrong with the vehicle. The service department told me that there was nothing wrong with it. To make sure, I test drove the vehicle for 45 minutes and noticed that the heat sensor was going from normal to slightly hot. I informed the service manager about this, and he said, "OK, we can have the technicians drive it around and let the vehicle idle for an hour." I agreed and drove the vehicle back to the dealer.
The next day, on 6/11, I received a call from the service department, and once again, they told me that nothing was wrong with the vehicle. At this point, I expressed my dissatisfaction and told them that I did not want this vehicle anymore. I also requested them to cancel the loan because they had tried to sell me the vehicle for $37,000, which included over $2,000 of negative equity from the previous Buick. I simply do not feel safe driving this Buick.
I wanna complain 'bout Yates Buick GMC 'cause I wanna get my money back ASAP
I wanna complain 'bout Yates Buick GMC 'cause I wanna get my money back ASAP. I put down $10,000 for the car and paid $772 for shipping, but then I changed my mind 'cause the car had rust, paint problems, and body damage that they didn't tell me 'bout. They claim they did this fancy 172-point inspection, but it's all a lie. I didn't sign any papers sayin' I'd buy the car, so I told 'em they were lyin' and I'm walkin' away from the deal. I demanded my $10,772 back, but all they said was they wanna see the inspection report. I was straight up with 'em and said I want an email by the end of the day sayin' they refunded my credit card. I even sent 'em a couple more texts and emails, but they're ignorin' me completely. This is just not right.
We brung our truck to the dealership to get our engine replaced on false information given by the service manager
We brung our truck to the dealership to get our engine replaced on false information given by the service manager. We was originally told that the vehicle would be done in four days, once we dropped it off we was told it would take two weeks. But we didnt get our vehicle back for over two months. Before taking the vehicle in the service manager told us the out the door price would be in the high $9k, throughout the weeks and months of calling and asking for updates on why its taking so long he continued to push us off and say hes working hard on it. We called GMC customer service for help and spoke with a *** that didnt offer much help but somehow determined that the engine wasnt ordered or the wrong engine was ordered and thats why it was taking long. No one offered any accountability or solution, all we got is a 2 day rental car. In the end we ended up paying over 12k, when I asked the service manager for a break down he was rude and cut me off. By this time we wanted this nightmare to be over and just paid to get the truck. We also paid for a 128/or 72 point inspection that we never asked for. The next outstanding problem is, when The vehicle is due for an oil change, my husband changes it and notices that he doesnt have the undercarriage. He calls the service manager the service manager says h*** order it, we hear nothing for a couple of weeks, we call again, dont get a call back. We go into the dealership, the service manager says that h*** order it, its been a month and a half now and we still have not heard anything. Ive also written a letter to the dealership left the service manager boss a voicemail I get no response from anyone. Going here was a complete mistake!
I bought a pre-owned Titan pickup truck from Yates Buick GMC on January 13
I bought a pre-owned Titan pickup truck from Yates Buick GMC on January 13. It had low mileage on it, and I needed it to transport my handicap equipment. When I purchased the truck, the financial officer sold me a bumper to bumper service contract. The warranty was supposed to last for 5 years or until the truck reached a certain mileage.
On January 15, I called Yates to schedule a service appointment because the truck was pulling to the right while driving and pulling to the left when braking. They scheduled the appointment for January 21, 2022, at 7 am. On January 24, 2022, they returned the truck to me and said it was fixed. However, the truck was still having the same issues. It's like a lemon!
On February 1, 2022, I went back to Yates' service department and informed them that the truck was not fixed and the problem was still there. The service guy told me that it was the tires causing the issue and that the new front-end alignment needed time to wear the tires. I wasn't convinced.
Finally, on May 28, 2022, I called the service department again to schedule the truck for the same issue. They scheduled it for June 8, 2022. However, when they returned the truck to me on June 28, 2022, it still wasn't fixed. They even told me that they only work on GMC vehicles, not other brands. This is fraud! They never mentioned this when selling me the service contract. If I had known, I would have never purchased it from them. They need to reimburse me for the cost of the fraudulent service contract and pay for the total cost of the repairs. They took advantage of a handicap senior citizen like me and promised to take care of the truck if it broke down. I reported the problem just two days after buying the truck. Their customer service is terrible, and they exploit handicap senior citizens and disabled veterans like me, a disabled veteran named John.
On 10/21, I reserved a new vehicle through an official website and paid a $100 deposit at Yates Buick GMC
On 10/21, I reserved a new vehicle through an official website and paid a $100 deposit at Yates Buick GMC. My AMEX statement shows a charge from YATES BUICK GMC INC for the $100. In February, the dealership contacted me to discuss options. The interior colors weren't what I wanted, and there were no other choices available. So, I asked the dealership to cancel my reservation and refund the $100. However, several months passed without any credit to my credit card. I left messages for the salesperson, but there was no callback. In May, I contacted GM corporate and spoke with a CSR who informed me that GM doesn't refund deposits because they go to the dealer. This was confirmed by the supervisor. I called Yates Buick GMC again and spoke with the general manager, who told me there was a website where I could cancel my reservation, and then GM would refund the deposit. On 05/24, I filled out the online form and received an email stating that my dealer had been notified of my cancellation request for the vehicle reservation, with Yates listed as the dealer. A month went by, and I still didn't receive a credit to my AMEX. I called GM and was once again told that the dealer should refund the deposit. I left multiple messages for the salesperson but didn't get a response. On 07/13, I called Yates again and spoke with the general manager, who immediately became confrontational. He insisted that GM should refund me and claimed that the dealership didn't have my money, saying that my AMEX statement was wrong. He mentioned that he had talked to the salesperson and they were tired of dealing with this, and that they would send me a $100 check. He also accused me of trying to cheat the system, saying that if I received the credit from GM, I would make $100. The general manager mentioned that the check should be sent out on 07/14, but I haven't received it yet. On 07/13, I called GM again, and they reiterated that the dealer should refund the deposit. I would like to get my $100 refunded.
On August 26th, I took my vehicle to Yates due to engine noise
On August 26th, I took my vehicle to Yates due to engine noise. They kept it for diagnostics. The next day, they detailed the issue, estimating a three-week repair time and provided a Malibu as a loaner. Subsequently, a large hole was found in the tire. I informed the service representative, who scheduled a repair for the following Monday. Leaving work early to visit Yates, they declined service, claiming no air leak. Concerned for safety, I insisted on another rental. On August 31st, I was notified my vehicle was ready. However, the issue persisted due to incorrect repairs on the engine's good side. Despite providing a video pinpointing the noise, they had erred, necessitating an additional three-week wait. During a dinner outing with my wife on September 9th, a storm caused a tree to fall on the rental. Enterprise was informed, and they agreed to a replacement. The next day, they sought damage accountability from me. I argued Yates's responsibility due to their initial error. Yates declined involvement, directing me to corporate, and the representative denied further assistance.
I bought a car from Yates Buick GMC on Nov 15
I bought a car from Yates Buick GMC on Nov 15. They told me it never had an accident & the Carfax was clean. When I checked the car with the salesperson & talked about the warranty, they said I could take it to any INFINITI dealer if there were any issues. That was good because I live far away. On my way home, I heard a weird noise sometimes. At first, I thought it was from another car, but it was actually coming from mine. I stopped and saw that the inner fender was damaged and rubbing against the tire. I used a zip tie to fix it and the noise stopped. I knew it was a used car, so I didn't mind this small problem.
A few days later, my wife came home and I noticed a headlight was out. There was no warning on the dashboard. I called an INFINITI dealer to check if it was covered by the warranty. They said yes, but they couldn't take the car until Dec 5. I took my car to ***. They called me later and said there was evidence of an accident, so the headlight wouldn't be covered. I contacted Yates Buick GMC and told them the car had definitely been in an accident and someone hid it well. They asked me to bring it in on Dec 18. I took it to Yates, but they didn't give me any updates for days. I called them every day, but they didn't say anything for 2 weeks. Finally, when they called me back, they had the nerve to accuse me of getting into an accident between Nov 15 and Dec 5. But for me to do what they accused me of, I would have needed to do bodywork and paint the car before taking it to *** on Dec 5.
