Took my money, didn't deliver products
I placed my very last order in October. I received an email that it was being prepared for shipping and anticipated ship date was 10/23/24. We never got our shipment. They took $103 from my account and never delivered the product. I can't reach anyone. I'm going to file a claim with the Attorney General and BBB. Very disappointed. We always lived every item we received from Schwan's and was hoping they'd regroup and come back.
Worst Customer Service Ever
I was with Schwan’s for many years and just loved having them provide me with the best food and ice cream available. Unfortunately they sold the company to Yelloh who appears to be running it into the ground. I was told a few weeks back that they were closing the warehouse in my area so I would no longer receive a delivery from a driver every two weeks but they would still be servicing the area up until then. I don’t know what their definition of servicing is but out of the $100 order I placed they had one item on the truck that I ordered. Why even stay open until July if you can’t service the customers that you are throwing away. Yelloh, you are beyond disappointing to your customer base.
Recommendation: Don’t even bother. They are getting their food from third parties now and it’s not like it was when Schwan’s owned it.
Forgot to mention that when you try to reach their “customer service” it refers you to the customer chat in their website (which is no longer there) and then the phone hangs up on you. WOW!

My driver has changed frequently. Now never stops by . Only if I happen to catch a text and specifically tell him to to come will the driver darken my doorstep.
Not having the catalog is a dystopian nightmare. Not having a catalog is a marketing mistake! Not having a catalog Discriminates against people who don’t have cell service, or internet . Not to mention the people who need the pictures and can’t read. ADA lawsuit waiting to happen.
I buy 10 summer sausages at a time year round. But not it’s sold out? How?

I received an invoice (#[protected]) via email. It was the raw HTML - nothing that is suitable to read or print out. I tried logging in and printing the invoice, but alas that produces garbage as well. Using a desktop and the website, the order wants to print out 13 pages! I only ordered six, count em up, 1,2,3,4,5,6. Yes, six items!

Home delivery
All she asked for for her birthday dinner was chocolate ice cream so I wanted a good product. Ordered for delivery and it never showed up, also had ordered other things but nothing came. She went home upset so I called schwans this morning. Agent could not have cared less about this issue. I will need to re think doing any business with them again. Time frame was not honored and neither was the delivery date. I have an issue with that. I will probably not do business with schwans anymore because of this. If I can't depend on them to do what they say they will do then they are nothing to me. Too many others want my business!
schwans home delivery banned for calling in called it harrasment
called back to make order after was offered a $150 coupons in credits for what was taken from me from no shows as proven by emails in a call of a schwans worker and was forced to use shipping as i stated in previous complaint only to be told durring call they had a note by coorperate im banned and cant call or use schwas anymore i was harassing them make it make sense.bullying on their part

Corporate call threat
Shocked how I was treated on call by coorperate call for a resalution that was intended to help a customer that was in the dark about why I was being forced to receive shipping orders only when as of a mth prior I had no indication the guy feeling in was so kind to me had not shown up on 1 occasion but computer canceled orders for no reason and cancedled orders she wouldnt give me any answers finaly she got nervous and said they gave her another story and they beleive tjhem and she threatened me legally im crying sad day prey for you mam

Untimely orders on a monthly basis and discounts being erased
Your company has been treating me like they no longer value me as a customer anymore they erase all of the discounts I save in my order I cant get them back the driver never shows up when scheduled im on dissability I get paid once a month I have to end up paying someone to take me to the store to buy groceries they will show up when im not scheduled for a delivery they erase my promotions I havnt had steady deliveries since they reassigned my regular driver of 8 yrs I dont think its getting any better they contantly send me just for you coupons for products out or no longer available

I've placed like three orders an my last order wasn't dropped off i never got a call or text saying the driver is in my area driver usually stops between 3-and 6 pm when i called to find out the status they said the driver had an route issue and it was was rescheduled to the next date the truck went by my house but never stopped the rep didn't seen like she cared enough to send a truck out again

Used Schwan's on and off for years, service in our area is so bad that now I closed my acct. we ordered over $250.00 and waited for the truck on Wednesday, no show, then they said Saturday and no show again, I had told them years ago never ship, if the truck can't come cancel order, and once again they made the the choice for me and I got an email on Saturday that they were shipping it anyway, I called them and told them 2 times, Sunday and Monday to cancel and that we would not even be in town and our gate would be closed, and they still shipped it on Monday night, it's just going to melt at our driveway, sick of dealing with idiots, closed acct. and I will never use them again, hope this helps you, and we also found out it is not a U.S. company anymore and I'm tired of spending my money with overseas [censored] company's and I will no more.

I've called and spoken with a live customer service representative and I've left a message about the fact that when I opened the box there were only three potato skins in the box with hardly any cheese. Get a text message from you guys stating we are in your neighborhood so I sent a message back asking do I make my order online and then you deliver it or no? No answer. So I asked what time will you be here no answer. Then about a hour or 2 later no the driver will come to your place. Need your address. You have been told my address every single time and wtf? You wanna know how many times in the last 2 months have tried to get something delivered here? It's been 8 weeks and no delivery guy comes into apartment building and rings the door bell. That is pure laziness on driver! And are they really even in my neighborhood when they tell you a time? Never cause a message comes thru and says sorry we are not in your area anymore! [censored]! Pure total [censored]! If thats the case then don't send me a message at 9:22 am and tell me then you are in my area! I think your new drivers are worthless lazy employees! Rescheduling delivery dates without notifying
2 days in a row my delivery date was rescheduled without any outreach or contact. It's basically a no-show and when I log in to my account it shows a new delivery date. Both original dates were confirmed and even the morning of my account showed my delivery was due that day. This is ridiculous. I tried calling customer service early Friday evening and it said to call back during the posted hours - it was 2-1/2 hours before the posted closing time. Then today I spoke with an agent who was either high or barely awake who barely seemed to pay attention to the call or what I was saying. And don't get me started on Marv the useless automated chat who has maybe 3 programed responses regardless of what the question might be. I tried emailing to find that's no longer an option either. The aggravation is not worth the amount of money I pay for your goods. Customer service is shoddy at best and a total joke, but I guess it helps to wear downtrend consumers resolve to complain by making it nearly impossible. This new program is the worst. It is completely unreliable. I guess it's time to switch to a different company because this frustration and unreliable service is not worth the high prices I pay. I guess the name change is a good thing so the Schwan's name and history of excellence won't be marred by the dive it has taken in service and reliability. Yello, Jello or whoever they are now just lost a long time customer to their shody customer service.
2/3 ice creams purchased were like gummy refrozen liquid
Their delivery truck broke down on Oct 27th 2022 Thurs, so delivery was fulfilled on Saturday Oct 29, 2022. I purchased 2 pints of icream , & 1 half gallon. The pint of Midnight Black Cherry,was frozen perfect, the Expresso pint & Pumpkin Pie Cheesecake, were a soggy mushy mess, gummy REFROZEN as if they were thawed out and never froze back. Aggressive delivery tactics
I remember the Schwan's truck visiting my parent's house way too often when I was growing up. However, during the pandemic I decided to give it one try since we now have the internet and instructions can be specific to your needs.
It didn't turn out that way. The food was delivered at their convenience, not mine. I did not get contact-less delivery. In fact, when I didn't answer the door, the person knocked on my picture window.
I decided not to order again and didn't hear anything from them for months ... until recently.
I work late, so a series of morning texts from Schwan's telling me they were stopping by to pick up a freezer bag the food was delivered in months ago, ended with me blocking the number.
I left the bag out for a week and nobody picked it up.
This morning, unannounced I was startled in the shower when I heard banging on my door. Schwan's again.
Enough is enough!
Learn marketing techniques for today's world! Intrusive unannounced visits only piss people off. And the food isn't great either. Definitely not worth the price.

A couple years ago I ordered several items including a turkey for Thanksgiving for my husband and I , they never showed , they never called and they never even tried to make it right,
Recently I gave them another chance, they were supposed to be here and the time came and went so I called them and they told me that the driver called out and I would be receiving my order in a week from now?! I'm like what?! and it just happened to me again, the delivery was scheduled for today 9-19-22 and I checked the website and it says my delivery is for 9-24-22. They just change your delivery date with no notice.
I really used to like them, and I used to spend almost two hundred dollars at a time so it is their loss, NEVER AGAIN !
Discontinued best products, nothing worth anything available
Quality of what is available is questionable at best and the products are not cheap. Discontinued the best items and presenting new sub par products. Have been a customer for more than 15 years and am done. We have been faithful customers and have even introduced neighbors to your service. From what I understand you're rebranding to attract younger customers but guess what, my 25 year old who grew up on you is so disappointed and will not be recommending you to anyone.
Desired outcome: Lose the "new" name and bring back quality. You will fail.

Very disappointed that the breakfast pizza has been discontinued. I am requesting that you reconsider this change and bring the item back to the product line.

Thin & crispy garden vegetable pizza
The picture on the box bears little resemblance to the product inside. There was about a quarter of the ingredients. Its like someone forgot the toppings. There were exactly 5 pieces of pepper & a few bits of spinach. The was the most disappointing pizza I have ever had from you. The other veggie pizzas I have had were much better quality. While waiting in the drive through for dunkin one of your truck drivers with EXTREME ROAD RAGE pulled where my car was barely hanging out and proceeded to lay on his horn then pull behind my car while he gave me the finger. Please teach your drivers to be better than this. That was absolutely unnecessary and disgusting behavior. I wish I could have gotten his truck number and filed a complaint with ODOT as well. The incident happened at 12:08pm at the dunkin donuts on snow road by interstate 71. Next time I will be sure to pay more attention to the truck number.
