YMAX Communications Will not stop calling me

A representative from this number [protected] calls me 3 to 6 times per day at my office where i work. I have asked, begged, repeatedly that they do now call me. I have explained that my job is in jeopardy. My boss has spoken with them and they say they wont call again but yet they do. I am sick of it.

YMAX Communications Calling my cell phone without talking

I have had multiple calls from this number [protected] which according to White Pages belongs to YMax Communications Corp. landline from Glendale, CA No one says anything - no recording they simply keep calling. How do I stop this?

YMAX Communications Loans

Ymax either allows their employees to embezzle their money and take money under false pretrenses or their majic jack customers are using the company.
Since september 29th, 2012, i paid $920 to this company with the promise that i would get a loan of $3, 300. 00. It started out paying
$150 for savings then other crap like processing fees, payment to soocial security, cancellation fees etc. By october 15, 2012
I had given them $920 and i was supposed to get a loan of $3, 300. I was promised / guaranteed by mr. Mark becker whose phone number is [protected] that it would be in my bank account within three houors. It is now 2 months later since this started and i have received nothing.
Today, i received a phone call from mr. Mark becker at 5:40 a. M. Asking me why i keep callling him so much. I told him i want my money back and i did not want the loan. Mr. Mark becker told me the only way i could have my money back was to pay another $175. I told him know and he basically stated tough luck as he was not going to give me my money back.
Mr. Mark becker told me this was a cancellation fee of $175. I told him flat out he could not charge me a $175 cancellation fee when it is him that caused this to be cancelled.
A couple of hours later, i called him back and mark becker answered the phone, and i told him by law he cannot charge me a cancellation fee and if he could he would take it out of the $920 that i have given him. Mr. Becker then told me it is this company's law that they can charge a cancellation fee. He again told me to give him another $175 and i would get my money back today. He then hung up on me.
I want this guy mark becker to go to jail and be forced to give me money back. L want my money back now. Mr. Becker claims that the money went to pay my social security bill. Well, i don't know whose social security bill it was because i haven't paid into social securitiy for over 25 years since my employer has their retirement fund.

So a mr. James Foster gave me a call today from [protected] and i misses it well he left me a voicemail saying he worked for ufc or usc (couldnt tell which he said) loans and that im approved for a loan for yada yada yada so i give him a call back and mind u he sounded semi better more clear and "professional" on the VM well let me tell u when he answered me when i called back he was talking very low and almost muffled like the phone quality was bad on his end i tell him im returning his call and he starts going back into the loan stuff so i stop him and ask him exactly who it is hes looking for and he IMMEDIATELY HANGS UP so i call right back and straight to voicemail as if the phone is off so fbi lil me reverse searched his number it said the name he said but said it was a google voice number and it said it was associated with this ymax company so i immediately googled and here i am cuz white pages usually tells u if its a scam risk and there was no risk on the number but i knew it was a scam from when i called back so i reported the number for scamming to white pages so hopefully they can update they ish before even finding these forums its jus all the more proof it was exactly what i knew it was and im glad i dont get tricked and fooled by those people like some people have cuz it wud legit be some problems cuz white pages gives u they current address and age and im a pop up outta nowhere type of [censored] and that old man (it said 70s) don't want beef with me infact jus for TRYING to scam me u can get doxxed if anyone in perry fla been scammed by this company nd wna do you here ya go!

I just was called by this company to get a loan, they sounded so legit. I waited for the money to go into my account after paying them 120.00 by going to get a card, that I then had to give them the pin for them to receive the first payment. By this I was supposed to receive the money in my account. I never got it so I called back to ask where it was. I was given the run around about checking the file and then another guy, the first guys name was Mark and the second was named Mike. I was told I had to pay them 150.00 more to have it sent to me by Western Union. I refused telling them I had no more to send and told them to send me my money back. I also told them I want my money back or I would be calling the police. I located the place the call was coming from by using reverse look up. They had told me on the phone they were in Harrisburg but they are in Scranton. So I will be calling the police or anyone else I can to get them stopped. I demanded my money again and he said he could not send my 120.00 back because it was tied up with some FCC thing. So after reading all of this I see how gullible I was. But live and learn and move on. But I will do everything I can to try to report them and get them stopped.

We were promised a payday loan of $1, 000. All we had to do was get a cash card for $220 (Plus a 4.95 activation fee) "to guarantee our first payment". We sent them that and after an hour called Mr. Paul Smith, who we had been dealing with and asked where the money was. He told us they couldn't deposit it into our debit account because there was a "600 Hold" on the account and we should do western union. He said we had to pay the fees and it would cost $100. We sent him that and were waiting for the MTC number for Western Union. After waiting over 3 1/2 hours at Western Union for the MTC number and trying to call Mr Smith and got nowhere. After this, my husband came home and continued calling Mr Smith's number only to get a message that he was away from his desk and then it would go to voicemail where you got the message that the mail box was full and the call ended..
From 6pm yesterday until almost 9pm, we kept calling the number, finally reaching someone named Carl Smith. One point he said Paul Smith had been fired, then he would pick up the phone but not speak. We got a hold of him after trying every 5 min. and things got strange. He started interrogating my husband about things like his age, how long he was married, was it to the same woman, how many children we had. My husband answered his questions and then...hang up. I called back and when he answered when I asked a question, all he did was grunt. This went on for a few minutes then the line went dead. He swore at my husband after he answered a call, wanting to know why he kept calling him. My husband tried to get the "company's name and work hours" and was told the office would be closed until Monday. He refused to give any kind of company name. At this point I went on the laptop and traced the phone number. The number we were calling [protected] came up listed as belonging to YMax Communiation Corp. After checking them out I found out about the whole MagicJack company being owned by Ymax and still can't figure out why this place dealt in payday advanced.
So far we are out $325. to them as well as charges from Experian Credit Report as well as "Your score and more", also a company that checks for credit scores that we had to pay.
It is so frustrating when you put your trust in someone and they poop in your face. We tried asking about our $325. and getting a refund and have been told it couldn't be done until today, next week and a few weeks from now. I had to borrow money from my dad to get through all this. If they think I'm paying any kind of cancellation fee, they have another thing coming. This place should be closed down and put out of business and the owners fined.

YMAX Communications Blocked Port out request

YMAX continues to block port out requests for the telephone number [protected] claiming that the account number being provided by the winning carrier (TMobile) is incorrect. This is the third such attempt in 3 weeks. All lf them blocked for the same reason. I have been providing the same account number that I have been given by MagicJack online chat support. I have full chat transcripts quoting the exact same account number for the phone number.
Either the port out department is blocking the request because they are referring to an account number that is different from the one customer service is providing me with, or they are purposely blocking the port out request for no valid reason, contrary to FCC regulations. I have ported out a couple of phone numbers from the same account using exactly the same information few months ago without a hitch. I have also had difficulty porting a few numbers out on a different account number.
I have been contacted by the Florida Attorney General offices Economic Crimes department about this old requests, requesting affidavits. I will be supplying those affidavits as well as submitting one for this cases.

In the mean time, if there is a way to move this issue forward without involving the Attorney General's office or the FCC, that would be my preference.

I would like an explanation about the reason for the blockage as part of this resolution process. as well.

YMAX Communications Bad

I bought a magic jack the other day at my local radio shack store. I took it home and installed it set everything up as per set up screens asked me to you know name address and other info. i made a few calls successfully with it and it worked fine. Then i tried it a few hours later and i was not able to call anyone it kept cutting me off when i was trying to dial a number. or when i did get through i had to almost scream in to the phone to be heard. I even tried calling my friend on his cell number and he was not able to hear me. i had to go to my other line in my apt to call him back to tell him that it was me that tried to call him I told him what I was useing to call him on and he said he bout one of those and it did not work for him. And my friend knows computers and eletronics for he has 4 degrees in it and is a computer tech person so hen he said he had problems. I know that this item was a piece of SHI- So i took it back and got a refund the man at the store asked me for the reason i was returning it i told him it was garbage I suggest people that have been ripped off by this product contact the so called inventor MR Daniel Borislow at his home address his home address is MR Daniel Borislow 1045 south ocean blv palm beach floridia 33480 I think everyone that has been ripped off by him and his company should flood his personal mail box with complaint letters and to file a report with the flordia Public utility commission and the FL attorney generals office and the fcc. If i get more info on MR BORISLOW I shall post it here I am trying to get his private email address and his private phone number and when I do I shall Post it here !

YMAX Communications Illegal harassment

I have recieved numerous of calls from individuals using ymax communications corporation - fl identifying themselves as legal representatives willing to list charges against my social security number for loans recieved online. I have not recieved loans online and they would not give me any more infrmation about it except that it was through cash advance and the mans name was ray smith (With a heavy hindu - indian accent) . He demanded i resolve this issue by sending him $525. 00 to keep this out of court. At one point with a different name he said he was a representative of the bureau of law and investigation (Not identifying which bureau) . It seems amazing that a phone carrier can let scam artists like these operate by bouncing their numbers so they can not be traced and falsely identify themselves as government official representatives. But it happens! The last call i recieved was from a 904 area code in florida, prior to that was in san francisco, prior to that tampa bay area, prior to that worchester, ma. Wait just a minute ago a woman barely able to speak english called to say that i was selected to recieve $7500. 00 from the government by direct deposit to my account as an incentive for being good! Cant our government do better on these jacka**'s. Find them take their assets like they would any other us citizen and make themm pay restitution to those they scammed and incarcerate them in cuba or just deport their a**es back to their home country.

Received a call from [protected]. The beginning of the automated message was cutoff, So I do not know the full nature of the call or even if a company was identified. But the end of the message threatened legal action and that the local police would be contacted if I didn't call back and clear up the matter. So, I called this # back out of curiosity. I heard lots of commotion (like a call center), and someone sounded like they were singing, but no one spoke. Called it back multiple times, and was just dead air, but something/someone had answered every time. The last time I called, a lady answered in another language, finally got her to speak English, and I was then asked for my name. I advised that I had a voicemail to call this #, and I would not give my name until she confirmed the company she worked for. She said to disregard the call and not call back, as she doesn't have time for this, then hung up.
WTF! How is this scam crap even legal?

You get miles of runnaround on technical or regular business inquiries. Favorite on Chat Link, we will forward request/complaint higher up. Providing order # ; Email ID's ; Pasword cleared ; name ; etc., but never a reply for weeks/months till you give up. Twice discontinued purchased units W/3rd waiting in the wings on similar conditions. Occasionally a service is completed like " on when I feel basis ". Horrendous service from a Helpdesk connection.

I bought this and it woeked fine, but I was told that number porting would be available sometime in 2009. Then it was sometime this fall. Then it was by the first week of August 2010! and it still says that on their site, and it is still not available. I think it was a bait and switch scam. I think I'll be contacting the Attorney Generals office and I would encourage everyone else to as well. I haven't been able to use this because I do not want top change my phone number. I'm tired of being promised something that may never happen. I too have had plenty of conversations with there live agents and they aren't in America and know nothing.

I renew my magicJack for 5 years but now I cannot use it. Try to check their website for technical support but it's not "live"
I managed to get Ymax Corporation's phone number but it's voice mail the whole day! Come on Daniel Borislow!

Purchased a standard magic jack on 10/29/2011 from RITE AID in Clayton, NC totaling $32.01. That does not include the additional years purchased which expire on 10/29/2014. Installed the item and it worked rather well while we lived in a single family residence however upon moving to an extended stay facility on 01/15/2012 we had nothing but problems and issues with incoming and outgoing calls breaking up badly. We got no resolve from magic jack for the numerous contact attempts and since we could not use the device when we called to CLOSE down the account on 01/04/2013 we got NO REFUND for the remaining subscription that did not expire until 10/29/2014 either. Would avoid this web site because of all the hype over a device that does not work properly.

I just received a call on 9/13/2016 from [protected]. They said that this was my last notice from the IRS and that I need to call this number. So I looked up the number on line and found all these complaints registered to the same company (ymax communications) that hosted the number I just mentioned. I know our government can be jacked up at times but they for certain don't use these procedures. I encourage all of you to not allow them to fill you with fear. The devil himself is the author of fear - not the good Lord. These greedy pawns of Satan prey on panic that they induce. I feel bad for those who learned about the scam too late. But your suffering has helped the rest of us confirm our fears - that these are scammers. God used all our collective experiences to protect each other. "There is wisdom in a multitude of counsel". All of us will benefit from helping each other one way or another down the road.

I just received a call from a [protected] number and a text from a [protected] number stating that a lawsuit has been filed and an arrest warrant has been issued in my name and to contact them to pay any legal fees. I don't owe anyone anything and when I called back it was for someone that I couldn't even understand the name on the voicemail. This isn't the first time that I have gotten a call like this and it's irritating!

I received a call with nothing more than a reference number and that charges would be brought against me and would be served with documents. I have notified my State Attorney's office of this call immediately. Make sure if this happens to you that you contact your state attorney's office with as much information possible to protect you and your family. No reference was made to what it was concerning and the message was automated. ANYTIME someone CALLS YOU SAYING YOU OWE A DEBT, they must present or say this statement. THIS CALL IS IN THE EFFORT TO COLLECT A DEBT, ANY INFORMATION TAKEN WILL BE USED FOR THAT PURPOSE- if you don't get that. HANG UP! The number they called me from was [protected] which is in NJ, but pops up YMAX Communications in FL.

YMAX Communications Horrible customer service

Something to be aware of if you are thinking about buying a MagicJack. I haven't had any problems using it on an Intel-Based Mac. However, I just ordered my fifth one (the other 4 were for friends out of the country) and the company mixed up my shipping address.

I have heard rumours that their customer service is bad. Actually, it is horrible. You cannot speak with anyone. Everything is done by live chat. They are not trained to handle anything outside of the manual they read from. They cannot form proper English sentences. They do not go out of their way to make things right for the end user. A few days ago I discovered my order was sent to the wrong address and it has been a nightmare trying to get it fixed.

From what I understand, they went from selling a few hundred per day to 8000 per day. Unfortunately, they don't seem equipped to handle the administrative side of the business.

There are a lot of complaints with this company, which is owned by http://www.ymaxcorp.com/. You can google "ymax and complaints". Most of the problems are customer service. I suspect they will face a class-action lawsuit in the future to straighten them out.

My advice if you order... Make sure everything is correct with all ordering details. If you have a problem be prepared for a long battle getting it resolve. On the other hand, the four previous orders arrived perfectly. From a hardware/software point of view, you have an occasional echo, service interruptions, no Mac technical support (still in beta), etc... But, most of the time, it simply works well. My friends in Europe saved thousands of dollars already so they are happy.

The product works, customer service does not.

Purchase a magic jack device, setup said device and began using service. Had issues with disabling voicemail and getting phone calls to ring correctly. After numerous attempts to contact their live chat support, and being told there was no corporate number and they couldn't help me. I contacted my ISP and found that their side was working perfectly running 30Mbps down and 5Mbps up. On many occasions the magicjack chat rep would say goodbye and disconnect my chat. I want a resolution, refund of payment, and to be personally contacted.

They call and leave a message threatening a lawsuit for some made up nonsense.
Sounds like India if you return the call. Super lame and hard to believe anyone would fall for it but certainly irritating.

I agree that rose(for short) was testy ...but she makes a few points...very rarely on these support calls do you get aperson who can speak english without accent so bad you cant understand them...when giving you instructions most talk to fast and have to repeat what they say...she lucky she got a person to talk or chat to...most big companys the only people you can talk to are the money grabbers ...selling their business deals .most all your major companys are this way they say cant afford call lines (micro soft is an exception)...ceos making millions...cos manking billions ..but cant afford to talk to there customers...are politicals are the same ...never talk face to face with anyone very seldom answer calls or faxes ...just was scammed for 2800 dollars was in contact with scammer about wiring more money could not get local federal state lawenforce ment involved ..local did a little lip service..fbi said below their threshold hundreds o people taken every day but thats not big money...I grant you rose was as bad as she said the other guy was...but its does get frustrating when you have a problem and you cant talk one one to some one or you get fill out this form...go to this internet site...well be in touch...aint my job man...our leaders use to live in the community..our dr. lived down the street .my dad went fishing with a millionare but you couldnt tell because he was apart of the community...etc now they are above the community.enough ssaid happy new year to all

DrBHappy, it is funny you should say that "Roseroberta is overbearing, browbeating, downright rude, not too smart, and lacks common sense." That is exactly how I would describe you on a recent call you made. Don't mistake customer service providers for machines...if you are going to browbeat your name into our heads please don't be surprised when we meet you on the street...or on the information super highway...You are an [censor]...I am so glad I got the opportunity to tell you so. I really hope someone treats you the way you treated me...hope your day sucks...ok? Oh and take some of your own advice...I know it is hard for your fragile psyche to grasp but you do not know everything and while you may have some big words in your repertoire...even us call center employees can understand them you condescending f^ck.

have extended my membership for an additional 5 years. I use their service as an extra line, often having it as a faxline, when one friend who is not that computer
savvy wishes for me to send or receive a fax. I had tried other services in the VOIP scene, and they had too little bandwidth to effectively send or receive faxes. The
magicjack works every time. The BIG plus is sending a magicjack to your friends overseas, because then they can call you as if they were making a local call. I sent
one to a friend in Indonesia, set him up with a New York City number, and now he can't complain about the rates international calls are running. For the record, if
you buy time for international calls, you should check with other carriers FIRST. SKYPE charges 5 cents for the same call magicjack charges 14 cents per minute.
Oddly, Singapore and New Zealand, both near Indonesia, cost only 2 cents per minute on magicjack, making a Jakarta call cost 7 times as much, and that makes no
sense at all. There are more people in Indonesia than in all of New Zealand and Singapore combined. As a comparison, India only costs 5 cents/minute on magicjack.
In other words, there are far better rates available from other companies that use the same type of VOIP system. SKYPE is not the only one that charges less than
magicjack, so look around. It couldn't hurt. But as far as calling from other countries, or even better, using the hotel phone to call anywhere and not pay the hotel
anything, because you are dialing the number through your computer, not the hotel switchboard, and many hotels charge 2 DOLLARS/minute or MORE, magicjack
is nothing short of miraculous. It takes up less room than a deck of cards, and does so much more. Tell Roseroberta to take her magicjack down to a local BestBuy or R
adio Shack, and they can explain how to use it. I can't undersdtand why someone who professes great knowledge cannot do what my grandson can do easily, and
without any questions being asked. Plug and play means exactly that. Just give it a minute or two to load the internal program, and you can call anywhere in the
US and Canada 24/7/365 for free [okay...20 bucks a year, whoop-di doo!]. In contrast, a regular Verizon account ran me more than 150 dollars every month, and
had LESS calling features than magicjack, which makes it a huge saving in communications costs. To sum up, common sense is NOT all that common, and sorry to
say, Roseroberta is severely lacking in it. For a bit of trivia, my Mom's name was Rose, and I have a sister Roberta, and either one could beat Roseroberta in anything
with BOTH arms tied behind their backs! I hope that clears things up. If not, too bad. Go back for some further education in people skills, not to mention some basic

I read through roserobeta's chat transcript and believe me I completely disagree with him/her. I use a MagicJack and it may not be the best communication equipment but it does what it says it does. roseroberta is being racist and discriminating on race, region / country of origin. Get educated and stop shouting.

I grew up with Queen's English and am native to US of A, yet roseroberta's queries baffle me. It looks like plain lies. If you have had problem with MagicJack them return it. they refund your money. If you are not sure if you want it but would like to test it
then go to BestBuy and get one. You can return it if not wanted. Esay.

My personal experience with MagicJack support has always been excellent and my queries have been answered and resolved in less than 10 minutes.

roseroberta: I received the product today in the mail. I attempted to set it up, it is supposed to be plug and play. It never worked. There is no contact number, no address, etc. only a chatroom. I attempted several chatroom conversations with two representatives from 6 pm to 9:50 pm PST. They did nothing, ignored my requests for help and said, there's nothing we can do. I kept reiterating that basically too bad. I asked for a manager, I asked for an address, I asked for a corporate number, they refused and disconnected the chat conversation. I researched the company information, they don't exist at the address they indicated, it belongs to a woman. When you call their so called 800 that I found after resarching the web, it rings to a non-existing number that goes to a circuit busy. When you check their domain registration, they do not list a name or contact, they registered as private. When you research online, they were denied in the state of Alaska, showing networth of $1k. I believe they are a scam preying on people and taking their money not providing any kind of service that they claim. I saved a copy of the chatroom conversations with the 'so called technical reps' who for almost four hours, did nothing and basically said, 'Oh well.' roseroberta: Something to be aware of if you are thinking about buying a MagicJack. I haven't had any problems using it on an Intel-Based Mac. However, I just ordered my fifth one (the other 4 were for friends out of the country) and the company mixed up my shipping address. I have heard rumours that their customer service is bad. Actually, it is horrible. You cannot speak with anyone. Everything is done by live chat. They are not trained to handle anything outside of the manual they read from. They cannot form proper English sentences. They do not go out of their way to make things right for the end user. A few days ago I discovered my order was sent to the wrong address and it has been a nightmare trying to get it fixed. From what I understand, they went from selling a few hundred per day to 8000 per day. Unfortunately, they don't seem equipped to handle the administrative side of the business. There are a lot of complaints with this company, which is owned by http://www.ymaxcorp.com/. You can google "ymax and complaints". Most of the problems are customer service. I suspect they will face a class-action lawsuit in the future to straighten them out. My advice if you order... Make sure everything is correct with all ordering details. If you have a problem be prepared for a long battle getting it resolve. On the other hand, the four previous orders arrived perfectly. From a hardware/software point of view, you have an occasional echo, service interruptions, no Mac technical support (still in beta), etc... But, most of the time, it simply works well. I filed complaints this morning with the New York State Attorney General, the AG of Florida, with my credit card company, and with my reps in Washington, D.C. You should do the same. Just Google attorney general for your state, get the address and write a letter. You don't have to fill out the form. Do the same to get the names and addresses of your reps in Washington. YMAX Communications Fraud and rip off!

I received the product today in the mail. I attempted to set it up, it is supposed to be plug and play. It never worked. There is no contact number, no address, etc. only a chatroom. I attempted several chatroom conversations with two representatives from 6 pm to 9:50 pm PST. They did nothing, ignored my requests for help and said, there's nothing we can do. I kept reiterating that basically too bad. I asked for a manager, I asked for an address, I asked for a corporate number, they refused and disconnected the chat conversation. I researched the company information, they don't exist at the address they indicated, it belongs to a woman.

When you call their so called 800 that I found after researching the web, it rings to a non-existing number that goes to a circuit busy. When you check their domain registration, they do not list a name or contact, they registered as private. When you research online, they were denied in the state of Alaska, showing networth of $1k. I believe they are a scam preying on people and taking their money not providing any kind of service that they claim.

I saved a copy of the chatroom conversations with the 'so called technical reps' who for almost four hours, did nothing and basically said, 'Oh well.'

Keep getting calls from various numbers but this one says [protected] belongs to Ymax Communications Corp. Calls start early in am and just keep coming. Can't you stop them?

voice mail stating i owe the IRS money and jail time if I dont call them back.
This company need to investigate the owner of tel # [protected] as they leaving illegal messages and should be investigated!

Company left message that the local police will come and arrest me if I don't call them.they do not indicate why I'm in "trouble" and this is the first robo-call from this company so why is it jail time already? It's all too fishy but I don't appreciate the harassment for sure.

As many times as I call on the telephone business companies about the business, that is how many times I get bum communications, i.e. the person on the other end of the telephone:

Sounds very faintly-extremely hard to understand. I hang up. No communication with the company I do business with. Will avoid such companies.

Speaks too fast, and...

Everyone, man or woman, has an accent hard for me to understand. I repeat: I avoid doing business with these companies. Alas it is not very possible. Almost all companies in America do it. When are we going to start being Americans, instead of being the slaves of the allmighty buck and loose our identity in the name of this unpatriotic bad habitf?

I have been called over 120 times in the last 3 days. Same Indian slurry accent (male & female) telling me my loan has been approved and will be deposited in my account. When I said I never requested a loan I was told I would need to pay them $250 to stop the process. HA... really? THANKS MAJICJAK!

I do reverse look-up for all numbers I don't recognize. This company used several different numbers to call me from so I decided it might be time to get a list together. White pages show they all point back to YMax. Remember... over 120 calls in the last 3 days (1/8/14 - 1/10/14)
