Your Pool HQ? More like Your Pool HELL! Let me tell you, folks, I had a BAD experience with this website. I ordered a product from them, only to receive it damaged. It's like they don't even WANT to talk to you! You have to go through the ordering department just to get any help, and even then they're completely unreasonable. First off, it took 'em a hot minute to ship it out to me, but I figured, hey, with the postal service being all wonky these days, what can you do?
Anyway, when it finally arrived, I was stoked to try it out, but nope, it wouldn't work. So, I gave the customer service number a call to get some help with returning it. After a little waitin' on hold, I finally got through to this guy named Shawn. He was pretty friendly and gave me the lowdown on how to send it back for a refund.
After sending it back, Deb was the lady supposedly processing emails, but I ain't gonna lie, she didn't reply to me at all when I reached out about the refund. It's been almost a month now and I still don't have any money back in my account.
The weirdest thing though, is that when I tried to call customer service on a weekend, no one picked up! Like, come on guys, people have pools to take care of even on the weekends.
Overall, I ain't gonna lie, I'm pretty disappointed in my experience with Your Pool HQ. I'm still hoping that I'll get my refund eventually, but I really wish they had better customer service and faster processing times.
Disappointing Pool Cover - Thin, Flimsy, and Frustrating
I've been swimming in my pool for a long time now, eleven years to be exact. And let me tell you, the pool cover that came with it was a real doozy. I'm a pretty big guy, I stand tall at 6 foot 3 and weigh 215 pounds, but even I struggled to lift that cover by myself. Then, last year when I ordered a new one, I was dismayed to find out that the cover was exactly the same - thin and flimsy, barely able to be called a winter cover. And let me tell you, living in eastern Tennessee, that cover was put through its paces. It tore from the wind and we had to brave the cold to recover the pool. And even once it was on, it wasn't doing its job properly. By the time we opened the pool in the spring it was dirty and murky - not a good look.
Now, I know that FedEx has raised their prices, but that doesn't mean we should be getting less to compensate. I'm sorry, but this pool cover just isn't worth the $50.00 price tag. I was really hoping for something that would last and keep my pool clean during the winter months. Maybe it's time to explore other options and find a pool cover that can be relied upon.

I was on the hunt for a specific part to repair my DE filter and after searching high and low, I found it on Your Pool HQ's website. Now, I'll be honest - I'm no tech whiz so I made a mistake when placing my order. Instead of typing in my trusty aol.com, I accidentally wrote down ail.com. Yup, a small but costly error on my part. This left me feeling quite anxious and worried as I couldn't track my shipment.

Disappointed with Your Pool HQ's Volt FX4LI Vacuum: Missing Handle and Lack of Transparency
Just got the Volt FX4LI vacuum from Your Pool HQ and it arrived on time, which is a good thing. Unfortunately, when it came in, there was no handle that came with it. I mean, seriously, what's the point of having a pool vacuum without a handle, am I right?
I checked their website, but there was only a small print that mentioned "fits most standard handles" with no accompanying photo of the said handle nor a notice that it will be bought separately. I wish they could have made it clearer for their customers.
I found out later that they dropped the price to $60. Well, I don't like doing business with companies that aren't transparent. If only I read reviews about them before purchasing, I could have saved myself from the trouble of dealing with them.
Oh well, I hope this vacuum at least does the job. I mean, that's all that matters, right?

Please, do not believe anything they say. Do not trust anything or anyone related to Your Pool HQ. For me, it's already too late. I am only rating exceptionally bad service since this is a rare occurrence. Please, do yourself a favor, and don't bother using Your Pool HQ.

They was just leading me on, waiting for their shipment to come in. I got fed up and asked for a refund. I went and got my filter from someplace else; they gave it to me in just a few days. Three weeks later, and I still ain't got my refund. Every time I call up, they tell me the manager ain't there. Every durn time. That dude sure does like to talk on the phone - what's he doin' all day? One time, I filed a dispute with PayPal, and them folks didn't even respond for two whole weeks. Eventually, PayPal gave me my money back, but it was a real hassle. Honestly, I wouldn't trust these guys. They seem shady to me and ain't worth the trouble. Be careful out there.

I gotta tell you guys, I've used Your Pool HQ before and it was pretty solid. I needed a new pool pump motor a few years back and they got it to me quick and it was the right one. All they'll ever say is they'll "look into it" and then nothing happens. And you best believe they charge your credit card as soon as they get your order, not when they actually ship your crap. If you're thinking about giving these guys a go, I wish you the best of luck, but I ain't dealing with them again any time soon.
Terrible Experience with Your Pool HQ - I Do Not Recommend Buying From Them
I recently had an experience buying from Your Pool HQ, and I must say, it was not a pleasant one. I ordered a hot tub motor/pump, and to my dismay, it was shipped without any padding or protection. The plastic pump was placed downwards, and the heavy motor was placed upwards, with the shipping label attached to the motor end of the box! I was baffled - how could anyone pack something so carelessly? Given the weight of the motor, it is no surprise that the pump arrived shattered into little pieces. I was extremely disappointed.
When I contacted Your Pool HQ, they tried to push the blame on me, FedEx, or their supplier. They said it was up to me to prove whose fault it was. It was a ridiculous response - the packaging received was evidence enough that it was faultily packed by them.
Initially, they seemed concerned and apologized immediately. However, when they understood the mistake was on their end, they ignored all communication and left me to take up the dispute with my bank. It was a terrible experience dealing with these people.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend buying from them. When it comes to pool equipment, it is better to purchase a used one and take your chances than buying from these scam artists. Save yourself the trouble, and find a more reliable dealer who cares about customer satisfaction.

Yo, so I gotta give y'all an update from the last time I tried to write a review for Your Pool HQ. I'm a lil' heated right now cause I still ain't got my pool cover and I still ain't got no refund. I been hittin' them up through email and I ain't gettin' no response. When I call, I finally get through to someone and they keep tellin' me the same ol' thing - "It's gonna be shipped next week." But guess what? That never happens.

So, I gotta be honest, my experience with Your Pool HQ hasn't been so great. I was really excited to get my pool ladder, I ordered it on May 25th, and the email said it would be here in 5-7 business days. Well, it's June 12th now and I haven't heard anything. I've reached out to customer service twice, no response. I even tried live chat, but nobody was there. And to top it all off, I called the number and waited for 8 whole minutes before I got fed up and hung up.
Look, I get it, things happen, but come on guys, you took my hard-earned money for this ladder and it's not cheap! I just want what I paid for. The pool season is basically here and I'm starting to get really frustrated. Where's my ladder!? Can you either ship it or refund my money? That's really not too much to ask for, is it?

I'm a little bummed that it took so long for them to let me know, but at least I have some kind of update. And hey, they apologized for the delay and even offered me a discount on my next purchase. So, I guess that's something.

This time, though, I was given the disappointing news that the pump I had bought was not in stock, and there was no way for the team to know when they restock it.
