Hydrotech Pools This company is really unprofessional

This company is really unprofessional. The guy just showed up without even knocking on the door and walked right into the pool cage. He arrived in an unmarked white vehicle with no license plate. Someone should definitely report him.

Hydrotech Pools The project took so long, it felt like forever

The project took so long, it felt like forever. The work was done in a sloppy manner, with defects in the pebbling resulting in bare areas. The finish looked splotchy and had streaks. The spillway was uneven, which caused a leak and led to calcification. The supervision was poor, and it was difficult to get in touch with the project manager. They even refused to meet for the final inspection. The clean-up was also subpar, with sand, drains, and chunks of cement left behind at the site.

Hydrotech Pools This company has bad customer service

This company has bad customer service. Their tech changes the pool cleaning schedule regularly, then they blame the customer in unprofessional emails that they are not cooperating with the schedule. They then stop service for any given week, when it is the tech's fault for rescheduling due to them being overworked by the company. Their tech did a good job when actually attending to the job, but, the schedule for cleaning changed all the time.

Hydrotech Pools I hired Hydrotech Pools, Inc

I hired Hydrotech Pools, Inc. to build a new pool in the summer of 2021. It's been 15 months now, and my pool is still not finished. I've expressed my frustration, and they have done some work, but then a month goes by and the same cycle repeats. I've been waiting for 4 months and counting because they claim there are delays in getting the pool pebbles. I'm tired of waiting, so I've been trying to reach out to them for the past 2 months to see if there are alternative pebbles available. Unfortunately, nobody answers the phone or responds to my text messages. It's really frustrating to receive absolutely no response at all.

To make matters worse, out of nowhere, a lien is placed on my home due to non-payment of a bill from the subcontractor who did my deck pavers. I don't understand this at all. I paid Hydrotech, so they should be responsible for paying their subcontractors. That's how it's supposed to work.

Hydrotech Pools I signed a contract and made a deposit to redo our pool last year (June ) with Hydrotech Pools of Naples, Florida

I signed a contract and made a deposit to redo our pool last year (June ) with Hydrotech Pools of Naples, Florida. After lengthy delays due to supply issues, work schedules, etc., I received an email from their Project Manager on June 8, 2022, saying that due to the lengthy delays, we could ask for our deposit to be returned. So, we did. Since then, we have called and emailed Hydrotech Pools about our $6559 deposit, and they have told us several times that they would forward our request to their "Finance" department. We have also sent them a letter with copies of the emails, but we haven't received any response yet. I have seen other customers' remarks about having to go to Small Claims Court. I'm requesting advice on how to proceed with this company.

Hydrotech Pools An absolute nightmare

An absolute nightmare. We signed the contract on 4/15. The permit was denied because no one did their due diligence on setback requirements for my lot. We had to move a septic/drainfield to accommodate the pool in another location. The pool dig finally happened on 10/20. The truck carrying the backhoe tore up our asphalt driveway. They promised to fix it "right away" (which never happened) and also advised that the work should be complete in about 10 weeks. From then on, we had to beg Hydrotech to come out and do any work. When they did, it was typically messy, careless work. Weeks would go by between each small bit of progress, with several emails and text messages requesting them to resume work. Always empty promises. It was never an issue of them waiting on payment. We had always given timely payment, so we expected a timely and professional completion of our job. The pool itself was shot too high, resulting in subsequent issues galore. When building the stemwall for the pool, they built it too high, which would have required a step down into the house. They fought with us for weeks to come out and inspect, and in the end, we were right and they had to cut the wall shorter. We got to May 1st when we issued them a formal demand for the job to wrap up. Their work finally commenced, and they quickly ran out of material. After all this time, Hydrotech never made sure they ordered enough material. Fast forward, and the job is done at the end of May, but the pavers are already sinking, and they refused to come back out to fix it. Subsequently, the subcontractor put a lien on my house for non-payment of the awful paver work that they refused to remedy. On June 1st, our attorney sent a formal 30-day notice, which Hydrotech ignored until the 29th day, asking for one more shot to get it right. It is a shame how many people have been duped by this extremely unprofessional company.

Hydrotech Pools was supposed to do some work for us, as per the estimate they gave. But the work they did is really bad and they haven't bothered to respond to us. I've attached a detailed timeline of the project and some photos to show how bad it is. I'm filing this complaint for my mom, who's old.

Hydrotech Pools On 5/4, Hydrotech Pools, Inc

On 5/4, Hydrotech Pools, Inc. did the resurfacing of our small pool, and it costed us $7470. The job was done pretty good, but there was a problem with the overflow. It got all clogged up with concrete, and it wasn't like that before they did the job. I've been trying for months to get in touch with the contractor, the owner, and the office, and I've been asking the technicians, but nobody has done anything to fix the concrete in the overflow. All I want is for them to remove it.

Hydrotech Pools We hired Hydrotech Pools, Inc

We hired Hydrotech Pools, Inc. to give our pool a pebble finish. We paid for the pebble finish and patiently waited for almost 3 months. Finally, Hydrotech arrived, but to our disappointment, they gave us a cheap Marcite finish instead. We've been trying to get in touch with Damian M., the owner, since then. We've called, emailed, and texted him, but he completely ignores us. We've been calling him since Saturday and we don't know what to do. We're extremely upset with this bait and switch situation. We hope you can assist us. Thank you.

Hydrotech Pools I hired Hydrotech Pools, Inc

I hired Hydrotech Pools, Inc. to fix up my pool and lanai in October . I gave them a deposit of $11000, which they took care of. However, they never actually did any work. On 3/15/2022, I let Damian, the owner, know that I was canceling the project and asked for my deposit back promptly. Damian confirmed my cancellation in writing. I've been really professional with them throughout all the delays, and now I expect them to do the right thing. I hope I won't have to take legal action, but I'm ready to do so considering their track record.

Hydrotech Pools The pool finish at Hydrotech Pools, Inc

The pool finish at Hydrotech Pools, Inc. comes with a 10-year warranty, as stated in the signed contract. However, right from the day of installation, the pool finish has had noticeable streaks. It is evident that the finish was not properly installed and cleaned, leading to these issues and significant streaking. I have reached out to them multiple times via email, but each time I receive different responses from various staff members at Hydrotech Pools in Naples, Florida. The owner, "Damion," has only responded to one out of the seven emails I sent. The pool finish has been problematic since day one, and their attempt to fix it with an acid bath was unsuccessful. This company is unreliable and does not stand behind their work. Additionally, we have encountered multiple problems with the pavers due to the streaking issues in the pool finish. This is a subpar company, and we have decided to hire a lawyer to resolve this matter.

Hydrotech Pools I signed the contract with Hydrotech Pools, Inc

I signed the contract with Hydrotech Pools, Inc. on 8/23. I paid them 30% down, which was $5,604. They said the work would start in late 09/21 and take about 2 weeks. The job was supposed to include repairing the retaining wall, doing a leak test, replacing the coping, waterline tile, and deck step tile, as well as resetting the pavers.

I kept asking them to start the work, but they kept promising to start the following week. Finally, on 12/4, someone showed up at the site. Three workers worked for a total of 2 1/2 days between 12/4 and 12/22. They almost fully drained the pool and removed the coping, waterline tile, and deck tile. But since then, no one has come back to the job site.

They delivered the new coping and just left it on the front curb of my house. I had to carry it to the pool side myself to prevent it from being stolen. Every time I call them, they give me empty promises that they will show up the next day or the following week, but no one ever shows up.

Hydrotech told me that the silver pearl pebble finish for the pool is delayed because of supply chain issues. I asked them to remove that part of the job so that they can focus on repairing the retaining wall as soon as possible.

I heard that Hydrotech is supposed to be good at what they do, and I was recommended to them by a trusted contractor. All I want now is for them to finish the repairs. I would really appreciate your help.

Hydrotech Pools We've been dealing with problems with our pool for 2 years now

We've been dealing with problems with our pool for 2 years now. We signed a contract and paid $23,285.00 on 12/26 for pool resurfacing, tile renovation, and lanai pavers. They promised a warranty for all the work. But, about 2 months after they finished, black marks started showing up on the bottom and sides of the pool. We contacted the company and they sent someone to take photos and figure out what to do. They tried acid washing the pool, which made the spots lighter, but they came back again. It's been 2 years now and we've lost count of how many times we've called. They never call us back and they never give us a solution. Different employees have come to take photos, but nothing happens after that. And when we do manage to talk to someone on the phone, they don't know what we're talking about, can't find any paperwork, and just say they'll fix it. The owner, Damian, won't return our calls and hasn't been involved at all. Our whole family has been trying to find a solution, but we've done everything we can except take legal action. The black marks on our pool are getting worse and we need a solution soon.

Hydrotech Pools I had my swimming pool resurfaced by Hydrotech Pools, Inc

I had my swimming pool resurfaced by Hydrotech Pools, Inc. at my home on 191 Beachcomber St, Marco Is., FL. They also added a sun shelf around the end of 2019. However, after a few months, black spots started appearing on the pool bottom. It's a concrete pool. The first person they sent to check it out had no idea why these spots were bleeding into the finish. He thought it might be some black substance from the boards that the installers walked on, but he was just guessing. Then they sent a repair man named Pivo, who dove into the pool and scraped off all the spots. Even he had never seen anything like it before.

But in September , the spotting came back again. They sent Pivo back on October 12 (dive pictures attached). When I talked to him, he agreed with me that it's probably a defect in the finishing material. Once again, he dove into the pool and scraped off the spots. I told Hydrotech that this is not a satisfactory solution. I need a permanent fix for this problem. I've been trying to reach Damian, the owner, but I haven't been able to get in touch with him despite calling numerous times since Pivo last worked on the spotting.

Hydrotech Pools I hired Hydrotech Pools to fix and resurface my pool in June

I hired Hydrotech Pools to fix and resurface my pool in June . They gave me an invoice for a 30% down payment of $3,063.00 on June 14, and I sent them a check. The owner, whose name I won't mention, sent me an email on June 22, saying that the pool would start on July 22. But that day came and went, and no work was done. On August 2, I emailed them asking for an updated schedule. The owner replied on August 11, saying that he was waiting for the pool finish. They kept saying they would start but never showed up for over a year.

On July 14, 2022, I called the service department and spoke to someone named ***. She didn't have any information for me and said she wasn't in charge of scheduling. She took my name and number to pass on to ***, who I managed to get the number for. I called and sent a text message on July 14, 2022, but got no response. I also emailed ***, who is supposedly second in charge according to ***, and her response was that she would investigate.

On July 19, 2022, I called the office again and was put on speaker phone. They told me they were waiting for *** to come in and set up times. On the same day, they called *** and told him that the job would start on August 1, 2022. The company showed up at my house on July 21 and 22, 2022, drained the pool, and removed some of the tile. We thought it was finally going to happen, but they haven't been back since. On August 3, 2022, I emailed *** but got no reply. I called the office and she answered, but she didn't know anything and said that *** had quit.

Hydrotech Pools I'm really disappointed with Hydrotech Pools, Inc

I'm really disappointed with Hydrotech Pools, Inc. They refused to replace a defective part and ignored my complaints until it was out of warranty. About three years ago, they installed a new pool for me. However, within a week of installation, we started experiencing problems with all the LED lighting. After several months, they did fix the issue with the LED lighting on one side of the pool, but they completely ignored the problem with the light on the other side.

I spoke with the project manager at the time, who assured me that it would be fixed. However, after almost six months of leaving messages without any call back, I decided to visit their office. To my surprise, I was informed that the person I had been dealing with was no longer with the company. They assigned me another employee who promised to get it fixed, but they never sent anyone out and even claimed over the phone that it had been repaired. Several months passed, and when I visited the property, I discovered that the light was still not working.

When I called the company again, they informed me that the employee I had been dealing with was no longer there. Frustrated, I started sending emails to create a paper trail. I contacted another person from Hydrotech via email and explained the ongoing issues. However, they simply replied that the light was out of warranty and they couldn't do anything about it. We had several conversations, but their final response was that they would only pay for half of the light, which amounts to $600.

I expressed my dissatisfaction via email, stating that this was unacceptable. The repair should have been done a long time ago, and it's not my fault that multiple employees failed to address the warranty repairs. Now they expect me to pay half of the cost, which is not fair or right.

Hydrotech Pools On June 6, I signed a contract with Hydrotech Pools, Inc

On June 6, I signed a contract with Hydrotech Pools, Inc. located at 2100 Trade Center Way Suite D Naples, FL *** to refinish my pool and install new waterline tile. I gave them the required 20% deposit in cash. They were supposed to start on July 5, but a week before that, they told me they were having trouble getting the finish and would need another month to start. They never contacted me or kept me updated on when they would start, despite rescheduling multiple times over a period of 6 months. It became frustrating, and since my house would be unavailable after December 23, I had to inform the owner, Mr. Damian M, on December 7, that I needed them to commit to starting my pool on April 11, 2022, without any more delays or excuses. I asked him to provide this commitment in writing, which he did through email.

A week before the scheduled start date, I tried calling Hydrotech's office, but no one answered. I left a message and also sent an email to Mr. M on April 4. He once again confirmed in writing that they would start the pool on April 11, 2022. However, on that day, Hydrotech didn't show up, and they didn't bother to call or inform me about their absence. I called the office and spoke to Katrina, who seemed unaware of my project. I asked her to have Mr. M call me immediately. After a heated phone call, he promised me that there would only be a few days delay because his tile guy was busy with another job. I requested to visit their location and see the tile and finish to ensure they had the correct items. Mr. M said he would call me back with the location, but he never did. Instead, he emailed me the next day, refusing to do the project or honor the contract. I strongly disagree with this cancellation and do not accept it.
