Zoosk bad dating site

Please go online and read the many bad reviews before you sign up and give them your money for a subscription. I paid for a 6 month subscription and it was like throwing money away. They will also hit you a one time "activation fee"-25$ ! Cancelled the subscription which renews automatically if you don't cancel, and left the site after 4 weeks of surreal weirdness. Many people that are on there are not paying subscribers, so they can't read your messages to them if you show interest. It will show up on their end and then prompt them to buy "zoosk coins" in order to read/unlock the message. On your end you are also invited to buy coins so you can see if they read your message. You also get a badge on your profile that tells you "you're not popular" which can be remedied with you buying more zoosk coins. I found that a great deal of persons on there are most likely non existant and you wouldn't even get a reply and I sent out over 50 messages and got nothing back in 4 weeks. There have been many persons stating that they are mining facebook for pics and putting up false profiles - this I can't prove but there are many online complaints that have made this accusation. They also act like a big brother and monitor what you write on your profile and it is all "subject to approval" which can take a minute to all day depending on who is at the helm. So if you like authoritarian types that will read your every word then go for it. Forget about any customer service or them responding to any emails you send—won't happen. I sent 3 emails and got zero replies other than the standard "we received your email" - - I was "viewed" by over 400 gals in over 4 weeks and not one message nor were any of my messages responded to. I'm athletic in shape and my profile was tasty - - it's a business scam because nowhere in the site does it tell you that if you are not a subscriber, you cant receive or send messages—what's the point? Couple that with thousands of dead profiles that appear to be fictitious or are not even in the dating scene any longer and you got a weird thing indeed. Stick with match or pof — those sites are real and are self monitored - if you are a jerk to other members or your profile is in bad taste, then they will intervene and pull you down but you are free to write what you want without big bro lookiong over your shoulder. They will not refund. Don't sign up for these scammers.

I think Zoosk is a scam, i read somewhere that as a test a man sent out
500 messages and got next to zero replies and didn't get to meet
anybody.
For myself i sent out several winks and got similar replies from all,
along the lines of "tell me more about yourself" They all replied within
30 seconds. Trouble is none of them were online at the time! It's a
miracle?
I also sent Zoosk 3 emails queering things and never got any replies.
They also deducted £2 more from my account than they stated
in the email confirming my subscription.
FINALLY CANCELLING YOUR SUBSCRIPTION. NOT AS EASY AS YOU MIGHT THINK.
THEIR TELEPHONE IN THE UK ONLY DEALS WITH MESSAGES. NOBODY THERE TO
ANSWER YOUR CALL. THEY CLAIM TO CONTACT YOU BACK WITHIN 2 WORKING DAYS
BUT AS A PRECAUTION I HAVE CANCELLED ANY FURTHER PAYMENTS THROUGH MY
BANK.

IS ZOOSK A SCAM... I DEFINATELY THINK IT IS.

Zoosk non readable messages

I paid for 1 months full subscription but have been unable to read ANY messages sent to me. After complaining many times the their "Technical Support" (the biggest joke ever) I was told this was part of the T's & C's I signed up for when I paid the money.and will not refund any money nor will they actually look at the problem to find a resolution. This all happened in the first 2 weeks of becoming a member. I am now contacting the credit card company to obtain a charge-back. It seems Zoosk are just a rip-off company and are not willing (or able) to fix what is really a small problem - with Zoosk it's profit before customers - and don't even think of complaining to them, especially Jason who seems to be wearing the corporate badge - he needs teaching what and who customers are

Zoosk terrible dating site

This site should have a class action lawsuit filed against them. Misleading and fraudulent. Don't sign up and don't give them your money because you won't get it back when you figure it out. I paid 95 for a subscription but i should have read all the bad online reviews beforehand. I had over 450 lookee loos in the first two weeks and not one chat or message from anyone and that was a red flag right away, and the problem is that if you are interested in a person, and that person is not a paying subscriber, they won't be able to read your message or contact you back or chat. So your love interest gets messages from zoosk to become a subscriber so they can respond to you. They offer "zoosk coins " that you buy so you can see if your message was read. Coins for sale for everything you need to do even as a paying subscriber. You will also have a permmanant badge on your page that says "your not popular" with a little meter in the red. Buy more coins to get "popular". Lots of complaints of "fembots" or persons that don't really exist on there, and i would say yes, that is the case with some of the profiles. There were several profiles that i swear were "bait" profiles to entice people to sign up. Bad customer service or i should say no customer service. They never replied to any of my emails, just the "we received your message and will respond " which they never did. Everything you write on your profile is subject to their policing before it gets on there - - felt like i was back in grade school. Weird and surreal navigating on the site. I should note that i signed up for plenty of fish after cancelling my subscription with zoosk and felt like i stepped out of a bad dream back to the living - - 5 stars for that site and top notch. . . Check them out.

I believe there are more fake people on Zoosk than paying costumers...or at least more people scamming than looking for a date...freaking crazy how many are false …..and it's as if they all have the same questions, and sooner or later they always ask for money for something

Zoosk not working

I have been trying with Zoosk Online Dating but failed to even establish one single contact. I am not the best looking guy on the block. I give you that. But I have been on other oversees sites to know that even though I am not best looking guy, I was able to contact, chat and luckily enough to date a few nice women. Ladies even contacted me. But here at Zoosk, nothing. Absolutely nothing. I played the numbers.. I refined and customized my messages, improved my profile and changed my pictures a few times based on the advise of some friends. Still nothing. Not one dam thing. After a couple of weeks, I am convinced this site is travesty; a scam of the first order. I even saw on Jimy Kimmel show the site being advertised as "FREE". That is a joke. My advise to anyone out there: stay away from ZOOSK.

I have been receiving text messages from your site stating that someone has messaged me on zoosk. These come in bull every few months and then stop. I have sent several emails asking for these to stop of which I get no reply. I do not have an account, I had one about 4 years ago which was deactivated. I want tees text messages to stop immediately and I want contact from zoosk to confirm that this will stop. This is causing upset in my relationship and I am about to seek legal advise if this continues.

Zoosk fake viewing, non readable messages and increasing membership

I would like to complain about zoosk . Not only did I subscribe for one month only and they took two months . They also add people to your viewing which you are not doing . This is morally wrong . One two occasions in the same day I had emails ( to my person email address ) claiming I was repeatedly ( almost hourly ) viewing people I knew on there, the reality was I had no reviewed either of them . Yet according to zoosk I was . This not far off stalking someone is morally wrong and creepy. It gives false hope to people . I had to email someone two days after they claimed I viewed them. I had never seen them before in my life . On the odd time I wrote a message, my messages were laced with rubbish such as amp£&: in between words, which makes things hard to understand and makes myself look stupid. Not something I would pay to have . Complaining is pointless they just ignore you or say a polite tough . To be not far off stalking someone or have someone stalk you on dating site is wrong and will her a lot of people into trouble . The reality is they have probably never seen that person yet they are fake viewing on an hourly basic . I have asked for my money back as the service was less than what it claimed to be . Yet was told no refund . No refund on taking twice the amount I stated was oy one month . The interest feed back is anything but positive . They need to be stopped

Totally agree with you here as it is my biggest issue with these clowns. I've had to apologise numerous times to people interstate or just not in my search criteria because the site tells them I am constantly viewing their profile and they mine. I changed my profile description outlining this crap and they deleted it instantly but if you email to complain ( like I have a few times ) it takes days and it's always some ### response. I feel like some kind of weirdo cyber-stalker!

Zoosk fake members

I'm a new to on line dating and I am very disappointed in zoosk. I signed up for other web sites with better results. I found the site to be a total waste of money. I will not recommend and I will post negative reviews of zoosk on line. If someone likes me on your site; you want to charge me more for to contact them after I paid for monthly membership/subscription. I believe the people you said that liked me were not real. I strongly suspect you trick people into paying for fake results.

Zoosk unsolicited spam emails

On facebook I kept getting alerts from Zoosk, and everytime I deleted it, they kept re-appearing. I clicked on it to see what it was and if I could get it to stop. When I did, I realised it was a dating website asking me to enter all my details. I came straight out of it, and managed to block the notifications on facebook. Since then I keep getting bombarded with spam messages of people who have checked my portfolio, which I have never had or set up. I am a very happily married woman of over 23 years, and luckily enough for me my husband believes this is nothing to do with me. God knows how it must be for other people who may have some doubt in their relationships. I don't know what to do about it. I am worried about going into the Zoosk website to see about deleting it, in case it causes me even more problems. Is there anything else I can do?

Zoosk fake and misleading services, members

I Signed up, for one month. I'm a PAID member. Many of the 'messages' I receive from men on the site are from NON-members, who only post a form-letter response with their email address or facebook name, or phone number. I skip over them, but then, I find a member and state I'm interested, find out he responds to this somehow, but ZOOSK now puts us both in a limbo state where we have to buy access in addition to the fee we paid to be members, or we cannot 'chat'. That is a rip off and misleading on their (Zoosk;s) part. If I paid, then let me have the service! I will pass plenty of reviews on this practice onto whatever dating site review places I can find. This is just plain bad business.

I'm having the same problem. I have sent messages to at least 30 guys, winked at several and tried to chat and never get ANY responses at all. I'm figuring out that they are having me pay more money in order to get privileges that other sites give you when you become a member. The profile changes have to be "approved' and if you say anything negative about the site, they will ERASE IT, and approve the changes without your comments. Also, I had a full length shot of me in a strawberry patch and they blew it up to make it a close up and it was very grainy. I got frustrated one night because no one was answering and took ALL of my pictures off except the one of my dog. The next morning I had a message that my picture was not approved and they had removed my dog's picture. I just "verified" my cell phone number, which probably means that every time they text me with someone who "winked" at me or "viewed me" I will be charged. Oh, and when you scroll "next" over the pictures, even if you DON'T "view profile", it appears to the person that you viewed them. So all day I'm constantly getting messages saying the same people view me over and over, when all they are doing is scrolling through the pictures. It is definitely a RIP OFF. I have already cancelled my subscription, and am waiting for it to run its course. What a nightmare. I hope I am saving someone $19.95. I've been on several dating websites, and this is the only one I've been on that is truly a SCAM.

I am a paid member, but find that the bulk of women on there, are not! They have the ability to send one message. If that message does not have contact info in it, then they either join or the communication goes no further. I CAN'T TELL WHO IS A MEMBER AND WHO ISN'T! I would prefer to communicate with members only, but obviously they aren't going to allow that. This site is as crappy as match.com! They also must send out email addresses to mailing lists, because I am getting a lot more SCAM SPAM. I also was texting with a non-member and the 2nd day of texting she runs the "can you give me some money so I can purchase some medicine for my kid" scam. Was a local number, but was I now being scammed by a Nigerian? JUNK!

Zoosk can't use the service

i was a non paying member and had access to everything except when a message is sent I can't read them. Since i have become a full paying member when i try and look at messages received, people who viewed me or to search for new matches all I get is the blure circle and I can't do anything. This never happened before I paid for membership. Also when I try to reply to messages I kept getting told message not sent. I feel the membership is a con.

I received literally dozens of views, dozens of winks. I became curious as to why not ONE lady wrote a message, NOT ONE. This simply defeats the averages. I have the exact same wording and photos on Match.com and have received several genuine letters from lady subscribers.
I became curious as to what Zoosk is up to. A Google search of the user names of "views" I received was telling. More than a quarter of the pictures used by the ladies that "winked" or viewed me are fakes. The photos are on the web, and have absolutely no correlation to the Zoosk members.
To add insult to injury, they took another month subscription from my account. I signed up for one month only. The day before the draw from my account, I cancelled my profile and membership.
BUYER BEWARE! This site is worthless! Rampant with fraud.

Zoosk no refund

First they bait you with lots of emails. Then you sign up for free account. Then they bait you with flirts and matches but you can't see them or respond without subscribing. So, you subscribe and along with subscription fee you get hit by almost $30 activation fee.
Then you find out you have to pay separably more money by buying virtual coins to see matches or communicate etc. So, within 12 hours I requested a refund and they refused. I then had to remind them of my state laws and that I was going to the Attorney General and the local media. I was also going to go to my credit card issuer. -- Just received an email that Zoosk will refund my money. No matter what Terms you get suckered into, know your rights.

Zoosk debited my acct. without refund!!

Stay away from zoosk!
These people are a total fraud! They take peoples faces from facebook, and keep them in an endless database of personals, to lure unsuspecting people in. And then relive them of thier hard earned money but sending them, flirts, and bogus messages, to keep on milking them forever. I changed email accts. Twice to get rid of these guys and they keep sending me endless emails of ficticious women! Then the last straw was when i was debited $99. 95 out of my checking acct. , and i am not a member! I called them and they would not give me my money back. I have spoke to my bank repeatedly, and to them. And neither side wants to comply with me. To get me a refund of my money. I think its a haneous crime to steal money, but this is only compounded when they play on peoples emotions to do it! These guys should put out of buis. And have whatever lic. They may have revolked!
Stay away from zoosk!

I keep getting zoosk flirts and I never signed up for zoosk. I am a married woman and my husband saw it and thought I was cheating. I called their number and talked to someone and she said I WAS signed up. I NEVER did though. I think they hacked my info from Facebook. Since all this my husband had an affair, I'm sure it was partly from him thinking I...

Zoosk difficult navigation / asking for money

Asking for money to view answers to messages and other reasons; do not know who members are so correspondence is difficult, since only members can respond. Difficult to navigate. Most difficult dating sight I have ever been on...I would like a refund.
