I have ordered a skirt and shorts first I was never told that I had to pau 40$ duty I have always ordered from the us and never had this problem my order is 82$ + 19$ shipping + 40 duties. Around 150$ for a skirt and shorts I told a rep I didnt want my order since I feel im beeing ripped off he said if you dont take it no refunds what a service! And now I received my order and the shorts are ripped! Unbelievable I am extremtly frusttrated I never had an experience as bad as this one. I feel lie too and treated like a clown.

I was denied service and escorted out of store because she said I was concealing a hat under a t-shirt that I wanted to try on and purchase I handed her both iteams before I went into the dressing room and she said I could not take the hat in with me which was fine I only wanted to see it on in the mirror. After I came out I asked her where the hat was and she said rite here and showed it to me then told me to get the [censored] out of her store that she didn't want a thief in there. I asked why what are you saying? I want to buy both iteams rite now, I pulled out more than enough money for them and she told me that security is on the way to escort me out. I asked again could I please buy them before I leave and she again said to me to get the hell out. I was very upset and embarrassed by her actions because I have done a lot of business in that store and and she knows me from past business I gave her no reason to think I was stealing what so ever and she cursed at me 3 times in front of other customers and was way out of line. I would really like to see something get done about this matter because I spend a lot of money with your store and when I go back in there I'd really like to not see her there if I do then an apology would be great and maybe even the shirt and hat for free since I was embarrassed and denied service for no reason and after showing her over $3000 from my pocket the last thing I am is a thief. extremely disappointed
That was a very disappointing experience. I ordered 8 items 400 dollars in total. Several days later they canceled half of my order and shipped only 3 out of 8 items. No one informed me. I found it out when I was checking the order status on the website. Willing to know all of the details I called them and asked why they did it. They answered that those 5 items were just out of stock and they sent what they had just to make me wait. Ok, how about a refund? You know, I honestly think if I hadn't noticed this thing, they would have never refunded...

Today after work l decided to go to Victoria Gardens Mall in Rancho Cucamonga because l wanted to exchange a couple of stuff that didn't fit me. I did a little bit of shopping. I noticed my son's favorite store Zumies where I have spend a lot of money on my son. I walked inside the store called my son to asked him about the shirts he wanted. A young man working at the store asked if I need it helped. I showed him a shirt my son sent me that he liked. He was able to helped. I had around 4 to 5 shirts on my hands when he asked do u want me to put the shirts in the front o said yes please. Than a young lady working there asked me wow you have a couple of shirts in the front and u are buying more how old is your son? I said almost 15. Is it his birthday that u are buying clothes? I said no he is my only child. She replied you must be a good Mom. She kept looking at me while l was looking at the sizes. At the moment l wanted to walked out because l felt that she thought l was trying to steal shirts since I had two bags on my hands since I was shopping before l went in their store.
But l said no if I walked out they will say l was there to steal. So l went ahead and paid for the shirts. I didn't pay with a credit card I paid with my debit to prove a point. My total went over $200. I asked the girl who was looking at me while shopping before leaving

Tomorrow l'm returning my son's shirts I will not spend one more dime on this store ever who only judge you. I haven't never experienced something like this. And the only reason I went ahead and bought the shirts was to show those people l had money maybe they thought my card was going to be rejected. I have spent so much money in this store after today l am done returning the shirts. They made me feel so bad there were other people shopping but they Target me. Sad very sad.
sweatshirt "primitive" black, sleeves grey mens small sweatshirt
We purchased a grey hoodie Primative sweatshirt for my son for his 8th grade graduation present. Was the only gift he asked for. He wore the sweatshirt ONCE and when walking home from a friends house, he tied the sweatshirt around his waist. When he got home, the inside of the hoods lining that was red, bled through onto his clothes AND ruined the brand new sweatshirt. This sweatshirt was worn for 2 hours! the red piping inside the hood bled through from the heat. We didn't wash or dry it, just wore it. We buy clothes from Zumies ALL the time. I have two skaters that love your clothes. Both he and I are very disappointed in this product. See attached photo's.

It was my first time shopping at zumiez in the kitsap mall. As I walk in I was trying to find a adidas hoodie that my daughter wants for christmas. No acknowledge by a salesperson. I had to ask a clerk if she worked there because, she just looked at me and continued folding the clothes. No hi or anything. I ask her a question and said she was going to see if they had on line which it was out of stock, but suggest something else that was in the store. So I said okay thank u. When I was done she had put my item on the counter and she said he (the cashier will be right with me. So when he was done with the customer he was ringing up, it was my turn. I didn't know where the lines was. I just waited where the girl told me. Another customer showed up so I said " I believe I was waiting", the guy cashier said " well the lines starts here". So I said well the clerk told me to wait here. He was so rude as he rung my item, had an attitude as he told me my total, he threw my change in my hand that my coins fell and he didn't even care to say thank you. I am going to return the item that I bought and I will tell all the people that I know not to shop there. No need the attitude especially when working in retail.
Don't order
Don't order anything from online from www.zumiez.com because they are terrible, highly unprofessional and I guarantee you'll regret that. I have purchased a pair of shoes and when I received them and tried them on I realized shoes were too big. So I contacted customer service and after that sent my shoes back hoping to get a replacement. Several weeks later I received another pair and it was the same huge size! These people gave me nothing but headache and I will never buy anything from them again!
Highly unprofessional
I have ordered two pairs of shoes from www.zumiez.com. One pair was for me and another one was for my boyfriend. When I finally received my order I was very disappointed because they sent me two pairs of men's shoes. I contacted customer service and explained what happened and they suggested me to keep the shoes. I said that I want to get my pair but they refused to replace. Then I said that we are sending one pair back and asked for a partial refund but received no as an answer.
Very poor customer service, they are highly unprofessional and customer unfriendly.
Disappointing experience
I have ordered a pair of shoes from Zumiez store and when I received them I was happy because the quality seemed fine. I wore them only for about a day and they stared to fell apart. Then I checked them carefully again and it appeared that the workmanship was terrible and material was rubbish. Contacted Zumiez support and asked if there was a way to return the shoes. They said that I can send them back at my own expense, but the most possible that I will not get a refund, since I already used the shoes. I was super disappointed.
Online purchase of a reflex multi skate tool
Ordered 3 Reflex Multi Skate Tools on 4/9/2016. Received notice on 4/10/2016 That one of my items been shipped. On 4/11/2016 I receive this email
"Thank you for your order with Zumiez.com! In the process of fulfilling your order, we have discovered we are out of stock on one or more of the items. The item(s) below have been canceled from your order:
• 2.00 x Reflex Utili-Tool Skateboard Tool
If there were additional items on your order you should receive them very soon. "
On 4/15/2016 I contact Zumiez customer support via a phone call about not receiving my refund of $32.41 for the 2 items as well as why my other has not been shipped. Response was to reissue of refund and send item out in next day shipping. That the reason for cancel of other 2 items was they were out of stock of grey that all they had was pink. I told NO PINK.
On 4/22/2016 I had to contact Zumiez customer support again. That I still did not receive my $32.41 refund and the Reflex Ital-Tool Skateboard Tool
that was sent was not grey as ordered but PINK. I told them I will keep the PINK one but I was unhappy, also I have not received refund. They said that it has not been cleared by paypal. So I went to my paypal account and there was a refund from Zumiez for only $16.20 not the full amount. I had to open a dispute with paypal. That I did not receive a refund for 2 of the 3 items ordered. That I only received 1 item, refunded for a second, but have not received any refund for the third item. I explained this clearly to customer support. That Zumiez did not refund me the correct amount. That they still owe me $16.21. But paypal screwed it up again. And said.

They never shipped the item, I want a refund. Well I never received a refund as of yet for the Item I did not RECEIVE from ZUMIEZ for $16.21 and do not expect it. Do not buy anything on line from ZUMIEZ and Dealing with both Paypal and Zumiez is a joke. Zumiez just ripped me off for $16.21 and paypal let them do it because they have no clue what they are doing.
Just so you know I contacted Zumiez once again on 4/22 about the remaining $16.21 Refund via phone and they said they refund it again, and sent this email to me "Good morning, sir!
I apologize again for everything that you've had to go through in regards to this order. That isn't how we intend to do business and that certainly isn't how we treat our customers. I am, however, happy to report that we applied the other half of your discount successfully. You will see that reflect on your statement in 3-5 business days. Again, I am so sorry for any frustration that this process may have caused you. I hope that I was able to help but please let me know if there is anything else that you need. I'll do my best to assist!

Good products, very bad customer service. Order was simple, wait two weeks already. Said my billing info isn't clarified, called to verify. Still nothing, said i should cancel the order. Called the bank and said i had already paid for my order. Yet Zumeiz tells me to cancel this order, forget as if i paid already.Two days later, said never mind it was your shipping address that has the problem. Corrected once again. A week has passed, asked for update, said they had a glitch in the system, that i need to send the address again. Sent the correct shipping address to one staff, four days later someone else emails saying they still don't have the address . My ordered in the end of June, mid August still can't deliver a simple package. The fastest delivery i had with Zumiez was 3 days! Not 40 or more! I had some great times shopping at Zumiez, but they really let me down this time.
Shoes/ Fraud
Bought Shoes buy 1 get 1 half off when I received shoes, the pair that was considered the half off came with dye tag still attached. When I called customer service about one pair of the shoes coming with dye tag on... RUDE! Finally after a few days, I was emailed a return lable and they would send me another pair out... Unfortunately, they emailed me back they were out of stock of the shoe (instead if them just removing dye tag and resending back) that they would refund me the half off that (the whole reason I bought the over priced shoes there to begin with.) TOTAL SCAM!
Pot leaf logo on clothing
As a mother of 2 I have been shopping at Zumiez for many years. Both of my children like to snowboard and skate board. They both really like the clothing and shoes at Zumiez. However recently Zumiez is putting pot leaves on its clothing. Young kids look up to Zumiez and think the clothing is cool. What kind of message is Zumiez trying to send? With the very real possibility that it will become legal in NY as Colorado is it right that Zumiez glorifies it and promotes it?. Why not put Ciggarettes or promote alcohol? Our young kids have enough pressure without thinking they need to smoke pot because they skateboard or snowboard. I will not shop at Zumiez for this reason until you remove that line of clothing.

I received a further email 2 days later telling me the shoes were out of stock (some inventory system!) and that they would require 10 to 20 days to transfer them in from one of their stores. 25 days later and no contact so I email them and ask what is going on. They respond telling me that they don't know but can add them back on the transfer list (another 10 to 20 days) or exchange or cancel. Terrible communication, total lack of care and of customer service and also ended up ruining a birthday gifting. Thanks for nothing Zumiez!

So many things
This has been the worst online shopping experience in my life. A horrible first impression. Both the website & confirmation email that I receive from Zumiez both tell that I should receive the package no later than two weeks, depending on where you live. I reside in CA, they ship from WA, With UPS ground, the distance is not that far.. and should not take this long..
01/10/12 - I put in the order of 5 items with free shipping.
01/17/12 - After one week, I begin to wonder why I did not receive any follow up email about shipping or anything, So I email them.
01/18/12 - Next day I receive an email telling me that one of my items were out-of-stock, and they forgot to tell me. So they then email me that they shipped out my package with just the 4 items. & will cancel the missing item. I was fine with this, as I was iffy about the out-of-stock item anyways, but I was a little angry they waited until I asked.
01/20/12 - I begin to wonder why the tracking information hasn't updated, since its been 3 days. It SHOULD only take 24 hours. So again, I email them.
01/23/12 - It is now monday, I receive an email telling me that my package has shipped and should be expecting it. Again, without a tracking number.
01/27/12 - Today, I call them and ask where my package is, but the stupid part is, they lost my tracking number. it has been 9 days since it was supposedly shipped, (7 business days) and I still do not have my package. They tell me that I have to wait a minimum of 8 business days before they can do anything, but the thing is, I dont live in FLORIDA across the U.S., I live 2 states away. Things would have gone so much smoother if they had not lost my tracking number. How does that even happen? HOW do you lose a tracking number? I now have to continue waiting till MONDAY & was told to call back TUESDAY if it doesn't come on Monday. This is absolutely the worst experience ever. Its been almost 3 weeks since I put in my order. NEVER again shall I order anything from Zumiez. Customer service does not seem to be a priority.

Management
I worked for more than three years for this company. I was one of their top sellers. Unfortunately, they like to give management positions to people who have personal issues. After promising me both a raise and advancement, I took a position thirty miles from my home. Try that for a commute every day. On top of that, the manager seemed bipolar and would alternately praise and abuse myself and other employees. Finally when I started asking when my raise would be in place, despite already accruing nearly forty thousand dollars in sales, they fired me. Frankly, I planned on moving up in this company. But they lie to lower level employees and they keep those who don't rock the boat even when they are nothing but hungover ###. I am really disappointed in this company and frankly I wonder how much oversight Seattle is exerting when these things keep happening over and over in this district. Although I still like their brands, I won't ever shop there again nor will I direct anyone to their stores. They are posers who like to pretend they are all about their employees when in reality they just don't give a damn.

Ruined sons christmas
My 13 year old son (who regularly buys product from the local Burbank Zumiez) purchased two t-shirts for me (dad) as a Christmas present. Unfortunately, he purchased the wrong size (too small). He took them back to the store within a few days past Christmas and was told that he could not exchange them because he no longer had the receipt. He explained that he unfortunately had already thrown it away. The store refused to exchange the two t-shirts and so basically the money that he had saved for my present was lost. He is really devastated that I can't use his present.
I told him that I would call and try to straighten it out. I called and spoke with the manager Carlos and felt for sure that if I explained what had happened that we could just bring the shirts back in and exchange them. They are even still in the Zumiez gift box they came in.
Carlos explained that unless we had a receipt or still had the tag on the items, that the policy is NOT to return or even EXCHANGE items - no exception. He said that he couldn't even put it back in their computer because there was no tag on it. Then he proceeded to tell me that I could have really purchased the items somewhere else and was trying to bring them back to their location to get something else. So, basically, he was calling me a liar.
If that was the case, where would I have gotten their gift box from?
What a load of insulting bull. Instead of trying to keep a return customer happy by simply exchanging the items, he has lost me (and more importantly my son) as a customer. My son typically spends several hundred dollars a year there on his teen clothes.
But - Carlos did his job and didn't budge from the policy - I hope that he looks good in his district managers eyes. But unfortunately, this is a lose-lose situation for everyone concerned.
My son has lost his money and more importantly his feeling of having given me something for Christmas and Zumiez has last a loyal customer which will result in lost revenue.
Here are some actual customer service facts that they should know:
It costs fivetimes more money to gain a new customer than it does to keep an exsisting one. They should also learn that a happy customer tells five people, an unhappy customer tells 50. (And now through the internet, I hope a lot more).
My advice to other shoppers - stay away from a store that doesn't care about ruining a young mans Christmas! It's only about the $$$ for them.

I work at Zumiez and if there is no receipt, then you simply get store credit or can exchange the items but that can vary with the manager. Nevertheless, it's unfortunate your son removed the tags, that could have helped the Manager budge and help you out. I'm terribly sorry we have lost you as a customer.
