On Monday June 3rd, 2024 I was playing call of duty modern warfare 3 on my pc and decided to shut down the game and play on my PlayStation 5 (which is located in a separate part of my home) in order to play and have a private party chat with a friend who also plays on PlayStation 5. There was no issue at that time and I concluded playing for the evening. I did not play the following day and on June 5th, 2024 at 8:50 pm est I attempted to start up the game on my pc. Upon launching the game I received a notification stating I had been temporarily banned and was directed to Activision's website. As I had done nothing to break the terms of service, I began the appeal process that very day. By 2:45 am est on Thursday June 6th, 2024, I received a generic message stating I was permanently banned due to “unauthorized software and manipulation of game data” with no evidence or explanation of what exactly I had done. I am unable to pinpoint how this occurred and am attempting to find a resolution in which my account is restored to good standing as I have not done what Activision has stated and my only conclusion I can draw from this is that this was done in error or my account has been compromised.

As I did not receive a confirmation email to the email that should be linked to the account ([protected]@gmail.com). I checked my Activision account to find my email changed. I need a supervisor to look into this and get my account unbanned please.

You played by the rules, and now Activision has wrongfully banned your account without providing any real evidence. This is no way to treat a loyal player. Your account getting banned out of the blue, especially when you've done nothing wrong, is simply unacceptable.
The fact that you didn’t even receive a confirmation email and then discovered your email was changed is a huge red flag. It sounds like your account was compromised, and Activision needs to take immediate action to investigate and fix this error. You deserve to have your account reinstated and an explanation for what went wrong.
You’ve done everything right by opening a support case and following their appeal process, but they need to step up now. Demand that a supervisor looks into this and resolves it quickly. Share your experience on every platform available so others know what's going on. Activision needs to understand that they can't treat their players this way and expect to keep their trust.
Stay strong and keep pushing for your account to be unbanned. You deserve justice, and Activision needs to make this right. Don't settle for anything less.
