Activision Skylanders imaginators

I live in Australia and purchased the above game as a gift. We both enjoyed playing. However all retailers in Australia are not stocking this product. We are desperately needing dark sensei and others to continue with the game.
Can you please advise why bring something out when you are not supporting the characters to continue. This has been such a waste of money and time.
Are you not shipping any characters over
What is going on very dissapointing
Regards
Kellie

Activision Black ops 3

Matchmaking is ridiculous and having people from Guatamala and other countries on US servers sucks..they all have 200 plus kills per minute and its due to lag comp...you and I both know this and its sad...also, there are so many hackers playing all your games its ridiculous...seems you sell the hacks before the games even come out...what gives...will you ever give good people an honest game we can play with good honest players...or are all your games just #### and loaded with hackers and your okay with it...if its about money then you can count me and several others out from now on...every game you have made has had hacks put out before the game goes public...makes me wonder if its you putting out the hacks for more cash I have seen so many vac ban players playing your games that its not fun anymore...please I beg you...do something about it...you put out excellent games and I enjoy playing them...for a second or 2 anyway

Activision Black ops 3

I have been trying to resolve an issue with purchasing a dlc -Eclipse for blacktops on the Xbox one. I get the error that I need to try another form of payment with all methods of payments.
I have contact Microsoft and Activision and they are passing the buck. I have money on a Microsoft card and I still cannot purchase the DLC. I have a 600 game system with about 1000.00 worth of black ops and MW games and the system is junk and the game is junk. black ops 3 has had more issues than any release I have seen. I am so done. I have 360 and PS4. I guess I will find other games to play on PS4 and get rid of Xbox one it is junk. Just like all Microsoft products I have every had.
I just want the game to do what I paid for and what it should do.

Activision Black ops III pre-orders

I think the company should be making more of the Juggernog Edition pre-order. It's unfair to actual fans of the franchise to watch a dream of theirs get sold on ebay for $800 to #2, 000 dollars. Its a shame that people who don't even care for the game or its content buying up to 3 at a time and selling them on ebay for ridiculous prices. It's unfair and unjust.

Activision DLC packs

Just voicing and trying to begin a group against the DLC content within activision call of duty games. While all persons across all gaming systems pay the same amount for the DLC packs the person's (myself included) that have the ps4 are not able to get the content for at least a month after Xbox owners even tho we've paI'd the same money for it. It's rediculous and uncalled for.

Activision bad customer service

Got Skylanders Trap Team deluxe for my grandson (from Santa). He opened the box, took out characters, and the scythe fell off one character. Unfortunately, my husband was hospitalized then we were in a bad car accident, so I couldn't call till today (reaching them is another complaint) and they told me warranty is voided because I didn't say the piece was broken before we got it. This company is TERRIBLE, does not care about customers of their expensive products, make themselves almost impossible to reach and should not be patronized at all.

Activision False advertising

Activision and Treyarch recently release Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 with an offer that if you pre-order you will be given access to a map called Nuketown 2025. After this weekend they have removed the map from being playable, with no warning or explanation except for it will be back "On special occasions" I say this is False Advertising to and deceptive, it makes people pay more then they should by upgrading to a bigger edition of the game when in reality the extra money is not needed.
At no point during Activision’s promotion of the Nuketown 2025 pre-order bonus did they mention that the popular Black Ops map, re-imagined in a 60′s depiction of the “Model Home of the Future”, would only be available for a limited amount of time. There is a disclaimer on the Call Of Duty website that players will need to download Nuketown 2025 to access to Double XP Launch Weekend but nothing regarding it’s limited appearance. This has caused millions to spend extra money that they didnt need to.
I personally feel robbed and fooled by them. Needless to say i wont touch another product which bears their name.

Activision False Advertising in Australia

Good Evening,
Kindly accept this email as a complaint about your stokers/retailers who sell to consumers like myself.
My 6 year old son is into Skylanders as many children are at his age.
He has been waiting for months for figurines to arrive in Australia and also Adventure Packs.
My complaint is that your retailers, the like of Big W, Target, Kmart, and JB Hi-Fi are advertising in catalogues Skylanders in stock. They are advertising them in sale catalogues wherein sales have not even begun.
Upon our arrival to numerous stores today at our local Shopping Centre/Mall, my son was utterly shocked and disappointed that these advertised stores actually were falsely advertising that they had stock wherein they actually never had stock at all - when I asked them about their stock, I was told (with my son standing alongside me) that all stock had already been sold out. The sale did not even start until today yet all stock was cleared off the shelves.
Can you imagine the disappointment and grief that my son experienced today. All he could so was cry and say "its not fair mummy".
I would like something in writing from you by return email on how you as the product provider/supplier is going to rectify this ongoing issue.
My son is absolutely gutted.
Kindly reply to this email to [protected]@bigpond.com
My postal address is: M Griffin, PO Box 2969, Burleigh 4220, Queensland, Australia.
I look forward to hearing from you by return.
Regards,
Maree Griffin

Activision Defective USB Receiver

I purchased the starter kit for the Skylanders Wii, the portal worked for 6 hours, my husband immediately went online and requested a new usb receiver. It took 8 days for us to get an email from them saying they got our email. A label had been created but nothing had been shipped, soon it will be two weeks since we turned in our issue.
Activision if you are going to make a toy/game that is wanted by everyone, and they are willing to drop 70.00 for just the game, the portal and three little guys, a replacement part should have been overnighted to the consumer. There is no excuse for two weeks to pass and not have the piece that they need in order to play the game.
I have bought many of activisions games, but after this i dont know.

you all seem to be missing something. when a expansion comes out there are flaws in it that are unforseen to a company. it happens. the code in waw was changed in mw2 and caused gaps that hackers exploited. as for refunds read the terms of service for the system you got it for. xbox live states there is no refunds. if it was in store then you need to return it within 30 days. if it was from activision themself its 30 days. hackers are in every game. as for wii mess up sounds like you interupted the update. i cant say more cause i dont play mw but it sounds like your just letting off steam for new updates.

i recall when wolk and cata came out there was a hacker cry out but it wound up to be that the ones who "were" hackers had a expansion the others didnt buy. now im not ligitimizing those who use exploits they find that were not intended by the company. those i agree should be punished, but telling a company who may be dealing with the problem the best they can to pay a refund for a product because your unhappy months later [or in this case i belive a year some of you have had the game] is just crazy and asking for trouble.

I played w@w today with a friend... it was unplayable because of all the hackers. This is THE first COD game that I will trade in for a different game.
This is a shame, and I for one, will not stand for it. W@W is my favorite COD game and I am done putting up with this. I took pictures with my cell phone of all the people hacking as we tried to play. We didn't get ONE single game in over an hour searching.

They need to fix this asap... the sad part is, they CAN but seem to refuse to. I have always been on the companies side throughout the years, and have spent a LOT of money with them. I want a full refund for the game and the map packs! How dare you treat the consumer this way! Activision and Treyarch need to stop bowing down to these little kids who ruin the game for everyone else... because they are afraid of losing their business... well, their parents business.
I am so upset about this, that I will no longer purchase anything by these companies again! Everyone I play with has also agreed to boycott them. If this problem is not remedied quickly, I will start a massive campaign to make things very awkward for Activision. I know they could care less about me, but that is exactly their problem! Where are your spines?!
You spend a lot of time and money making us all want to buy the games, then once you have out money, you just ignore our pleas and let us down over and over again. I really feel as though we are pathetic fools to you! We sit here playing your crap, making you all rich, and when we BEG for a tiny ###ing crumb of support, we get NOTHING! Just more of the same empty rhetoric and ### lip service. Who the hell do you think you are? It is, after all, just a damn video game... If I ran a small business that way, I would be out of business faster than Sarah Palin could screw up a historical reference.
So you know you "got us" eh? so you think we are just sheeple, that will consume whatever you put out? Unfortunately that is fairly true for the majority of consumers... which is why I am assuming that none of you (Activision, Treyarch etc) will do a damn thing about it! ### us, I suppose. "Thanks for the money suckers, now get ready to buy our next severely flawed, moderately updated, version of the same game" I suppose you think. right? Am I wrong? Did I go too far? Well prove me the ### wrong then!
Don't be THAT company... the one who screws over its loyal followers. We are the reason you have a damn multi billion dollar a year corp to begin with. How about a dose of ###ing respect and humility for what we do for you? Thanks for the games guys, but please stop slapping me in the god damn face after my credit card gets approved.

I love the COD series, and the companies involved in making them... I know things aren't easy, and trying to make everyone happy is difficult... not to mention the pressure you all are under trying to make your Corp. profitable and relevant to today's consumers, but we are not talking about something as difficult as all that, we are talking about stopping people from ruining your work and reputation! You would think you would WANT to make yourself not look like a ###! If I were in charge over there, I would be ashamed of myself for what your letting take place with your work.
Perhaps you don't care... or perhaps you are blissfully unaware of what the MAJORITY of us are going through while trying to cope with your product. Either way, it is a travesty, and in my opinion borders on fraud!

I am calling for everyone who feels as upset as I and my friends do, to DEMAND a refund for Call of Duty World at War and the Map Packs, RIGHT NOW unless something is done!
FIX it or man up and compensate us for your LEMON of a game! Since its release, this game has been plagued with problems and exploits and hacks that make it almost unbearable for us to play without needless stress and frustration! While the majority of us sit here and wonder WHY no one does anything to support us.
Battlefield 3 is coming out soon, and I know a LOT of folks who will be switching brands come October is nothing is done. We all WANT to buy your games. We all WANT to love the, and play them as often as possible.. we WANT to give you our hard earned money for a great product and spend years talking about it, and you, as "game changers"
The only thing we can say at the moment is, you are becoming "Game wreckers"
The COD franchise deserves better than this. We deserve better than this. Show us you care, even a little. Prove to us that you don't think of we are just sheeple. Give SOMETHING back to the folks that MADE you, for the love of God!
I want to play COD for years to come... overall I Love the games, as they give me and my friends a platform to interact and socialize. My friends and I have formed valuable relationships because of this series. I play with people from the USA and England. Some of which are actually flying out here in October to spend their holiday with me, and experience the US for the first time... all because of Xbox Live and Call of Duty. This is bigger than just a game. Lives are actually altered because of what you do, no matter how silly or over the top that may sound, it happens to be true.
All we ask is for a tiny show of support back. Please?! I honestly would hate to stop buying and playing your games, but we will. It has gone on too long now.

it´s been awhile since i played waw, but now it´s almost unplayable 1 of 20 matches there was an hour without noticing peps in unfinite healt mode or flying around. i am getting ###ing annoyed, many of these peps using hacks have youtube channels with adresses over the whole friggin screen, well almost, i went into one and guess what half of their watchers had the tumbs down, they hate em, so why do they keep cheating and ruening all the experience. i agree with most here except one month banning, permanent banning is more like it, but then again if you got one team cheating and the other dosent then someone have to stand up and cheat or loose, well anyway not cheating here. hope those ###ing ###s that can´t play the game get banned. i urge everyone to go to the hackers youtube channel and describe if you can on their channel what they do and report their video as garbage or send a complaint to youtube. then they cant win anything on their channel if they try to commerca their website or whatever. waw hackers if you read this, you are a bunch of ###s that suck in waw.

I agree man I tried to play today for the first time in months and it was unbelievable how many people had used that stupid god hack. Unfortunately Activision and Treyarch dont give a ###. They're going to make hundreds of millions of dollars off of the new modern warfare and thats that. Its just poor company integrity on their part.

Activision X Box 360 Game Quality Issues

Think twice before buying any games made by Activision!

We purchased an X-Box 360 for our sons on Christmas, along with a number of games, including Call of Duty: Black Ops and Modern Warfare 2, both made by Activision.

Last week, I noticed small cracks radiating from the center of the disks, making them unusable (see links below). As background, our sons have always taken care with their games, putting them back in the cases when finished and taking them out of the cases correctly. Since our first game system in 2004, a Sega Dreamcast, through a Nintendo Gamecube, a Wii, and now the X-Box 360, we had never experienced a disc with cracks like these. Now, four months after buying these games, and paying a premium for them, they can't be used. A number of other X-Box 360 games, made by other manufacturers and purchased at the same time as the cracked discs, are fine.

I suspect, although I have no way of verifying this, that the MW2 and COD disks are more brittle than they should be, and I've also noticed that the disc cases are a little rough on the inside of the disc when you snap it in place. This is not acceptable for a game that people pay $70 for.

As per Activision Customer Service: "Unfortunately we cannot replace any physically damaged discs without the $20 per disc replacement fee. The limited warranty on the disc is only 90 days, and will not cover cracks."

Yeah, it's unfortunate, unfortunate to me to have to pay for these discs again. I find it interesting that Activision is running a profit center that benefits from a potentially defective product.

I will probably spend the $40 for replacement, because my sons really miss the games, and because I have no other choice. If they were manufactured at a level of quality corresponding to their high prices, the games would still be working. Activision refuses to acknowledge that there is a problem. All I'm asking is that they exchange my discs at no cost, and look into the matter. I guess it's not cost-effective to listen to your customers, is it?

I will avoid Activision in the future when I can.

Activision Software steam

Where do I start...STEAM a program designed to connect players with other players across the internet for online gaming...RIGHT..well... nope thats F'N WRONG !

What a load of horse ###... this software is much the same as a virus and ad warez all in one.

Don't purchase any software that requires you to use this software(STEAM). It controls your game. It also controls you being able to play the game without unnecessary updates and it also crashes the game, MAKING THE GAME LOOK BAD.
I've come to this conclusion " It is a useless piece of ### made to piss users off." Controlling Dictating Software that not only disrupts the great games that use this stupidly made software "STEAM" to run, but also forces you the user to put up with many problems.

WHY? the game companies use (in my opinion) a out of date system is beyond my comprehension. The only semi logic reasoning I see is they need to make more money that's simply GREED. We use to get these games with full control, map makers, and when updates came out we also had the option to use them or not. We also had dedicated servers that could be controlled by the end users to suit there own common interests.

Gone is the basic respect for gamers and its all to easy for companies like Activision say stop ya ###'n you gamers just put up with it. WELL F**K YOU GAME MAKERS, no more I SAY F**K YOU ALL. DOWNLOAD PIRATE COPY DONT GIVE THESE ###ERS ANY MONEY FOR INFERIOR SOFTWARE. F**K EM>:(

I will not be buying any game platform that requires STEAM to play on line. You fooled me once with black ops and that will be the last...I say class action law suit against the ACTIVISION game makers for making us install virus software on our home PC systems.

..an example: AND this is only MY last found problem with Steam as of 26th MArch 2011

What they are doing now is forcing the PC user to download 6gig of contents that isn't required unless you want the new maps --but wait there's more they are going to force the user to PAY for this unwanted update. So even if you will never use these new maps you still have to download the components required taking up your download time / limit + hard drive space etc etc and ...EVEN F'n worse you cant play the game because STEAM is in control while you wait for this download...you may think its petty but it is a infringement on me the software owner that now I cant even access this software for 3-6 days while the game updates. WHAT A POT OF HORSE ###. And dont say get a faster connection as I have ASDL 2+ which alows 1000+Mb/sec...thats right the game makers cant even give you enough download speed to get a game update...even small updates take longer than should be required.

SO dont buy any software that requires programs like STEAM... there will be more out there i'm sure just dont buy that software get software that is MADE for the home user NOT MADE FOR the companies...greedy wankers.

Lol, well so far there's a hole 1 person in this class action suit, Wheres all the Activision haters?

Game download has now extended to 20 days+ before use... what can I say...I've said it all really. There must be 1000's or hundred of thousand downloading this and experiencing this problem, but no other Aussies here to confirm.

I still think Steam has to take some blame as they allow these companies use there platform.

Game ready to play in Aprox 10 days and 21 hours...FFS what a F'N joke these ### must be laugh'n there heads off right about now. I could download a 3xpirated virsions of the game quicker and play that..so why is it I purchased the origional...got me FArKED. bring on the cracked servers.

OhwowReally, you seems that you love your steam and that's fantastic for you if steam is a working program. 4 years now I've only used it for approx 6months and sick of it and black ops...I'm real keen on getting other Australian users experiencing the same problems that have taken screenshots, documented errors and forced to download software contents not required to play the game...with a CLASS action law suit against the game makers and or steam... hopefuly some one else can start this and I'll sign up...I'm ready to put it in the bin(or burn the disks) and document all this from instalation thought to the burning of the disks into a doco, which may even reach a national level..at least here in Australia...but most people dont care enough they like having ### shoved in their faces from big companies and pollys...simply they all need a big cup of HTFU.

3 days now that I have not accessed the software Black Ops... still downloading. Steam crashed today and didn't download anything whilst I was at work. I restarted it and got things up and running again but seem to have lost some of the content that i downloaded. lost approx 600+Mb of downloaded data somewhere in lala land. When I left, the steam message stated "UPDATING STEAM PLATFORM FILES..."?wtf...more proof that steam is still in control and pissing me off.

One question I have for you Mr WOW is you have more than one game that requires you to use steam..I assume. Does this mean that whilst you wait for an update for one game you cant play any other that use steam. Coz that is how it looks from my experiences here. Just remember I only have the one game that uses this Steam software and I'm super reluctant to try any other software that use this platform...well as I've stated I wont be using any software that requires steam. just a question out of interest as you have used it for 4 years and seem to love it. I STILL HATE IT.

Update by SirBrick
Mar 27, 2011 2:19 pm EDT

OhWowReally, you could be right about Activision and that it may not be Steams fault but because of all the problems I have encountered with steam, I still blame Steam and Steam is far from awesome. So maybe its the perfect software if you use an Xbox or PS2.. I wouldn't know, but as a PC user its ###.

Now I have to repeat myself in someparts but...

The way I see it, is simple:
In a short Definition a computer virus is a computer program that can copy itself and infect a computer. So probably not a virus but very similar... Steam is an unwanted program that controls Black Ops. Ok it doesn't copy itself, but it is an unwanted. Yet a Required program to play Black Ops. And by Infect sure I can stop the downloads etc, but then you cant play the game(until updating finished) so its a simple case of put up with it if you want to play the game(A 6 Gig update could take some users months before they can play there game). So it is infecting my game play by infecting the original coding updating and not allowing me to use the software, while I wait for updates.

Again your probably correct in the fact that its not steam itself that is updating, but it is in direct control of the operation of the game...so bring on the crack and hacked servers and I will switch to that...### Activition and ### Steam for letting Activision use this poorly designed software platform and well... make people hate them both. USER CONTROLLED SOFTWARE not COMPANY Controlled Software. IS THE MAIN POINT HERE.

Now as for the "store front" how much more evidence can I show you there's ADWAREZ right in your face. Adware, or advertising-supported software, is any software package which automatically plays, displays, or downloads advertisements to a computer. Sound like steam to me. If I want a game or software I'll go get it from a game site provider of my choice not one shoved in my face, from software (like STEAM). It's in your face when you use the steam interface. Nearly as bad as the real Internet. Wait isn't this a game conecting program for users to interact and playgames...AAhhh no it there to make money and lots of it...
I can still play other older games and connect and update at my leisure, without it controlled by ### software like steam or ### software designers like activision(or how activision has now become) .

But one thing Im glad you reminded me about is Infinity Ward and Tryarch...I'll be thinking twice before purchasing software from these companies in the future as well.

not realted to these post im just stating my absolute hatred of Activison. you know that company at one time was ran by developers that made the company because the loved video games. look how far they fell. i just got ripped off by activison for 60 dollars when i bought the new black ops 2 game. i does not play and it destroyed my xbox. 60 dollars may not sound like a lot, but i get paid minum wage and can barely pay for gas. so 60 dollars plus 24.99 for xbox live is a lot for me to put down. i did bring the game back does not work. i try to contact activison as told to me via xbox live customer service agent, it took two weeks of emails and they never responded finaly i call them after waiting for 1 hour on hold and guess what they tell me. "not our problem" So just want to inform anyone whos considering to buisness with this crap company beware! if you get a lemon from the company and it destroys your property dont expect to even get a sorry from the company. after all they have billions of customers they dont give a ### if they ruin one persons life. ( again beware this company does not care about indviduals all they see is dollar signs and take no accountablity for any of there products or services.

To answer your question, if I have a game that requires an update, I can play any other game while said update is downloading and installing. Again, your experience is with Black Ops only, which is put out by activision. I refuse to purchase or use any of Activision's software on Steam or PC (same goes for Ubisoft) because of the requirements involved.

As I said, I'm only going off my experience of using Steam's US and Canada interfaces, which could be vastly different than the one in Australia. Also, having read about the Activision issues, I've never purchased an Activision game on PC. I do wish you the best of luck if you get the class action suit together against Activision. They need to be taken down a few pegs.

Just to be clear, I use Steam on PC. As far as I know, and I'm speaking for the US and Canada, Steam can only be used on PC and MAC, not on Xbox or PlayStation.

My guess here is that Steam for Australia is different than the Steam we use in the US. There is absolutely no Adware, Malware, virsus, or anything like that on our Steam. I've been using Steam for over four years and have never once experienced any issues such as these. Granted, I refused to play anything on my PC put out by Activision because of all the craziness of their requirements. Again, this is why, at least in the US, Steam is trying to have their contract with Activision voided. They do not support what Activision requires of their players.

I'm just giving my opinion here. Again, since I don't use the Australia interface, I cannot comment on what goes on. All I can comment on is that in the US and Canada, Steam is a fantastic program that is helping to bring PC gaming back out of the ashes since most retailers only carry the top ten PC titles, and that is it. I've discovered countless awesome indie games because of Steam and will keep using it.

By the way, I will agree with the MrBrick about Black Ops being a total and complete piece of crap. That is what happens when Activision fires everyone at Infinity Ward (developers of the Modern Warfare series) and brings in an subpar company like Tryarch (developers of World at War and Black Ops) to develop their games. Of course, if you look at the course of events over the last five plus years with Activision, it reads like "A Complete Guide on How to Be a [censored]bag Company."

Wow, I don't know where to even start with this bat crap crazy ramblings.

First, Steam is in no way, shape or form virus software. Steam is awesome in every single fashion. For those of you that play games on PC and don't use Steam, you are totally missing out. You know how you will boot up a game, and then you will get notification of an update or patch that requires installation? Well, Steam will automatically download and install these updates as they arrive, which means you don't have to waste time when you would rather be playing the game.

Second, their storefront is amazing. They always have specials, access to games you can't get in stores anymore, and a fantastic community so you can connect with friends, even see what they own so you can buy games you know you can play together.

Basically, SirBrick's beef is with Activision and the fact that Activistion (not Steam) is forcing players to buy map packs and updates in order to play the game. Believe it or not, Valve (owners of Steam) has actually been trying to break contract with Activision because of Activision's practices, such as the ones you are talking about above. As far as the virsuses go, I don't know where you got those, but I say with 100% confidence, it was not through Steam.

On my Guitar Hero Drum set and Rock band drum set, the bass pedal broke. What happened was the wire on the Guitar Hero Drum set symbol does not work along with the bass pedal wire came undone from the pedal. On the Rock Band drum set, the bass pedal broke right above the hinge. I just thought I would let you know that the products do not last long. I only had the Guitar Hero drumset since Christmas of 2009. Thank you.

Activision 1 Month DLC, Are You Kidding Me?!

Activision,

I beg of you to reconsider re-releasing downloadable characters & missions on Playstation Network. Pleas don't punish the loyal fans of the game that actually went out and spent their hard-earned money, just because your initial sales didn't meet expectations. If you continue to add to this game, you will continue to make money. Either just a re-release the original DLC to give gamers another chance at these, since so many of us missed out the first time around. Or packaging them with new characters that are at least halfway created by being NPCs such as Bishop, Black Widow & Havok. Or at least offer up characters that were already created for select platforms like Blade, Cyclops & Ghost Rider as DLC, the work is already done on those characters. That would definitely generate some additional profits, and get people excited about the replay both online and not.

Many fans are irate over the way the Downloadable content was handled. Please make things right!
