I had booked a flight from Calgary to Bathurst on August 20/23. It went well.
On my return trip I had it booked to fly from Bathurst to Montreal to Calgary.
Air Canada later changed it to Bathurst to Montreal to Vancouver to Calgary.
This meant a 4.5 hour layover in Montreal and a 4.5 hour layover in Vancouver.
On top of that I was charged for a seat from Vancouver to Calgary which on my original flight was only one charge from Montreal to Calgary.
Why (because you changed my schedule) was I charged for the extra seat. Had you kept you original schedule there would have been no need to have an extra charge.
Because of your "Change" of schedule I had to sit for 9 hours in airports and then had to pay for an extra seat.
I needed wheelchair help from plane to plane for which I am grateful and the service was great but sitting for 9 extra hours did not make my trip very pleasurable nor the extra charges.
I hope that you will be able to do something to apease me on this matter.
I left on the 27th and didn't get home till the 28th which I do not feel was great service.
Thank you in advance for your attention on this matter.
Sincerely
Ron Bierwirth
