As a homeowner, I've had the best experience ever with any work done on my house!
As a homeowner, I've had the best experience ever with any work done on my house! The crew was very detailed in the work, cleaned every day. I would highly recommend the crew and All About Roofing for any roofing needs. The crew was here through the whole process, explaining everything!
These guys did a great job
These guys did a great job. Pulled all the tiles and put all new underlayment and slats down, added some vents, installed all new ridge lumber, all new sheet metal, reinstalled all the tiles, painted and caulked along with cleaning up around the house in 4 days. Friendly and easy to work with.
I would highly recommend all about roofing they got me approved through my insurance they were very clean and professional I didnt have to do anything with my insurance they handle everything from start to finish I would highly recommend them!
all about roofing was great to deal with they handled everything with my issuance company and made the process simple! crew was very clean!
I found All About Roofing, LLC through *** searches. I was in need of a new roof. Last time we had the roof replaced was over 20 years. From the consultation to the end date of the project everything went well and no surprises. The crew itself was amazing, quick and clean. All About Roofing, LLC company alone has been easy to work with and amazing. Since the roof project, we have had 3 huge storms in my area and no damages, or leaks! I had another company that I met with before finally deciding which company to use. I would choose All About Roofing, LLC for any future projects and would definitely recommend them to friends/family in search for a new roof!
Honestly really disappointed to write this review. I read all the 5 star reviews and was super excited to work with this business. One of their roofers came to my house 10/13 to do an inspection for some wind damage to my roof. I assumed Id get a call from him shortly after he came out. Weekend comes, nothing from the roofer. I thought okay, maybe Monday. Monday comes around and nothing. I finally text the roofer who came out, and he said he would have pics for me of the damage. Pictures never came through. Called the office and asked for him to call me, nothing. Texted him again on Tuesday, didnt get a response. Wednesday 10/19 I called the office again and complained. He finally answered my texts at 10:30 am and said hed have an estimate for me ASAP. Estimate never came through. Its now a week since he was out, and Im not closer to getting my roof fixed. Im currently sitting with a damaged roof and no clue on fixes because of this company.
All About Roofing was absolutely amazing, they came to my grandma's house and offered a free estimate on her roof
All About Roofing was absolutely amazing, they came to my grandma's house and offered a free estimate on her roof. The estimate was well priced and we decided that they would do our roof. The work that they did was absolutely pristine, the roof looks amazing and the cleanup crew didn't leave anything behind. They made sure all nails were picked up to prevent flat tires. From start to finish the work was flawless. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. Great job, All About Roofing!
Crews were very clean and efficient i would highly recommend them to anyone ! We love our new roof !
All About roofing was great from start to finish I would highly recommend them to anyone!
By far the BEST experience Ive ever had with any roofing company! Ive paid for well over 400 roofs in my lifetime and theyve been the most professional, highest quality workmanship and materials, AND they offer very competitive pricing. After this experience I sincerely would not consider any other roofer. A total pleasure to do business with! The ComplaintsBoard.com, however, does not hold themselves to the same standards they demand of businesses in my opinion (after 50+ years in business dealing with them). Theyre assessments cannot and should not be relied upon, especially if negative. Seek information elsewhere. And if you do so regarding this company I believe youll find little else besides well-deserved glowing reviews!
I made the mistake of asking All About Roofing for an estimate of the cost of replacing my roof, which had been damaged in a recent windstorm. The representative arrived at my house and looked at the roof, telling me several times that the insurance company would go through the list of replacement materials and nitpick them, lowering the cost at every step.
When it came time for the estimate, the representative gave me a document to sign, which would make All About Roofing my sole agent in dealing with the insurance company. The representative failed to mention that this document was, in fact, a contract, and, had I signed it, I would be legally obligated to use All About Roofing as my roof replacement company, and I would be responsible for paying All About Roofing any charges not covered by my insurance company.
When I told the representative that I didn't want to sign anything, I just wanted an estimate, he refused to give me an estimate - and left.
I wouldn't trust this ethically bereft company any farther than I could throw it!

I had them replace the underlayment for my tile roof and they did an excellent job; even my neighbors commented on how good the roof looked
I had them replace the underlayment for my tile roof and they did an excellent job; even my neighbors commented on how good the roof looked after they were done. But there's more than just having a good looking roof; because they took extra time to make sure everything was done correctly and each day before they left the cleaned up their mess and blew off the sidewalks. When they installed some flashing around the wire from my thermostat to the air-conditioner it quit working. I called Devin the owner and he had a repairman out here in less than 30 minutes who replaced a fuse that was blown and had my air-conditioner working again. The problem with having work done is finding a contractor you can trust and I believe you can trust All About Roofing.

It all started with John showing his "professionalism" but later found out how not professional he is
It all started with John showing his "professionalism" but later found out how not professional he is. So everything was going as planned with the date and color of the roof. Once they were done the porch roof did not match the color of the house roof. Now who in their right mind matches Amber and Buff, hahahah? That's what they tried to pull on us but on the fair side, after John threw a hissy fit, they fixed it by laying a matching color over the buff. However, now we are installing the AC and come to find out that the installers found live wiring that connected the cooler we had, stuffed into the attic which was supposed to be discarded. What a disappointment the type of work they did after they said they'd get rid of it all. This could have caused an electrical fire and that is why I'm giving them a 2 Star rating. For anyone getting their roof done by them, check out the finished product before they leave. That is truly sketchy of them. I should report this to the ComplaintsBoard.com and I think I will. Thanks but no thanks John and All About Roofing.

Let me tell anyone who is looking for a new roof!
Let me tell anyone who is looking for a new roof! call these guys! I found out that they are a local family-owned and run business who has integrity, They delivered materials on Monday and showed up on Wednesday to tear off existing roofing and replaced all in the same day! ( under 6 hrs!) they spread tarps all over my plants and ground completely all around the house EVEN COVERED MY POOL! They replaced all my vent covers, 1 piece of the facia that was showing signs of wear. even caped my fireplace per request with no additional charge! My yard was cleaner than when they arrived (and I have a rock front!) which my neighbor dog uses as his dumpsite was picked up ( who does that?) the crew was respectful and just plain professional! answered any question I had. The sales/superintendents of my job Ken and James were the most friendly, funny, respectful, and knowledgeable guys that I had the privilege to work with. Devan and his wife Sierra (the owners) are just good good people! Honestly, you will not get a better company to do your roof than all about roofing period! Oh did I mention how beautiful it looks? the only problem is now I have to paint my house to match that gorgeous roof! this review comes from a 59 yr old widow who was a carpenter for 30 yrs Thank you All about roofing !what an amazing job! Even my neighbors are impressed! A special thanks to Ken who kept me in the loop. James you are just as important. Teresa Echols.
The Monsoon destroyed my roof in July
The Monsoon destroyed my roof in July. Because of all the damage done in my area during that storm, it took until early January to actually get the roof fixed. I had called several companies, and was still waiting for one of them to be able to get out to my house and fix the problem 3 months later. By chance, I had seen a truck from All About Roofing driving down the street in front of me. I called him while we were traveling. He came out that afternoon and gave me and my brother an estimate for the damage. This is a very old house, the oldest room is almost 90 years old, it is my childhood home, and for decades my parents had been having the roof "repaired" when it leaked. So you can imagine the chaos up there. Upon meeting him, my brother, who had worked construction for most of his career, including roofing, said, this was the only one he wanted touching the roof. Now, because of the issues with holidays and staffing changes, it still took another 3 months to get started. Which I certainly don't blame All About Roofing for, he was honest, careful and more professional than any outside "professional" I've ever had on this property. And once they got started, it only took 2-3 days to complete everything. All About Roofing was there every step of the way. Not only did he make sure everything went as needed, he was just kind, funny and helpful. I would recommend All About Roofing to anyone, and, in fact, already have. Even my brother, who is hard to impress, was impressed with the company and especially with All About Roofing. To this day, several weeks later, he will still go up onto the roof just to admire the quality All About Roofing and his men were able bring to this very old roof, it has honestly NEVER looked better!
My experience with All About Roofing started out okay
My experience with All About Roofing started out okay. I explained to the company's office manager that I wasn't going through insurance for my roof replacement, as they had denied my previous claim due to the age and patchwork done in 2019. Therefore, I would be paying for it out of pocket. The manager and field supervisor came to my house and took measurements on two separate occasions. They provided me with a quote of $8,300, which included premium underlayment and shingles. However, considering my medical retirement and small fixed income, I expressed that I couldn't afford it. Later, they called me and offered to do the job for $7,000 if they used the next best materials. I agreed, and they arrived at my house 30 minutes later. They requested a deposit of $5,000, but to my surprise, they informed me that corporate had increased the price to $7,500. Despite this, we agreed to proceed and signed another contract, with a $5,000 deposit and $2,500 due upon completion of the job. However, after the job was finished, they demanded an additional $600. They claimed that they had measured incorrectly and were short by "two squares," which required them to order more materials and pay extra labor to install them. I found it difficult to comprehend how this mistake occurred, especially since I didn't witness any delivery of additional materials. They gave me a 30-day deadline to pay the extra amount. They also mentioned that they misjudged the measurements because my house is "metric" or something similar, which further confused me. I had declined offers from three other companies because All About Roofing seemed willing to assist me, but now I am facing a total cost of $8,100 without the premium materials and with a reduced warranty. I fail to understand how this situation is my fault. Additionally, I have security cameras installed around my home, which captured two of their crew members urinating on the side of my house and the supervisor engaging in inappropriate behavior in front of my house. This behavior was highly unprofessional. So far, we have paid the agreed-upon amount of $7,500.
A Homeowner's Roofing Adventure A roof is a roof is a roof
A Homeowner's Roofing Adventure A roof is a roof is a roof. They're all the same, so find a roofer with the lowest bid, and get it done fast and quickly. As long as it doesn't leak, nothing else matters, right? I decided to put that kind of lazy thinking to the test and find out for myself. Needing a new asphalt shingle roof, I started getting bids, but they ranged widely in price and materials, and comparing the bids was difficult. Why? Each roofer made assumptions about what I needed and submitted bids accordingly. It soon became obvious the roofers' assumptions were driving the process, not my needs and wants. But that fact was not their fault; it was mine. I was being lazy by not educating myself about roofs and what kind of roof I wanted. Roofers are experts about roofs but not about my wants. If I don't know what I want, then a roofer must make certain assumptions in order to submit a bid. And since the roofer is the expert, the customer usually defers to his expertise hoping things will turn out okay. But that deferral puts the roofer in charge. No thanks. It's my roof ! It's my money ! I will live with the final result. Therefore, I'm in charge of my project. As project manager, I will hire a contractor to do the work I want but not before I know what I want. So I stopped the bidding process and started investigating. Using the internet, I educated myself about asphalt shingle roofs. I wanted to know what makes a good roof that will protect my home? What makes it stand up to the elements? What makes it look good? What makes it last a long, long time? And if I sell the house, what kind of roof will continue to protect the new homeowner? I discovered three important aspects of roofing that helped me decide what I wanted in a roof: (1) materials, (2) workmanship and (3) the systemic way of putting 1 and 2 together. A roof may be the most important protective structure of a house because it meets the elements head on and deflects them safely away protecting the walls, the contents and even the foundation. I decided I wanted quality materials installed by a skilled, experienced crew familiar with a method of installation that would maximize the strengths inherent in the materials. I also decided I wanted a transferable warranty that I could pass on to the next homeowner when that time should come. I didn't just want a new roof. I wanted to add an asset that would increase the value of my home and protect it for a long, long time. The science of asphalt shingle roofing has developed greatly over the past few decades. There are many expert companies manufacturing high quality shingles for residential roofs. How does a homeowner decide which one to employ? I decided that high quality is more likely ensured if all the components of the roof are made by the same manufacturer because the same engineers are designing their materials to work together. I also wanted a skilled roofing contractor trained by the manufacturer in how to install their product. There are many fine roofing material manufacturers from which to choose. I chose Owens Corning (OC) based partly on my past experience with OC products and partly on a gut feel of confidence I had from my extensive research. Plus, the warranty OC offered met my needs. The important thing is to decide on one manufacturer for all the products that will be installed together. Don't buy underlayment from one manufacturer and shingles from another just because it's cheaper. Trust the manufacturer's engineers to design products that work together. Once I had chosen a manufacturer for the materials and roof-system design, I was ready to start searching for a roofing contractor who was certified by OC to install their products. There seems to be more variety in experience and skill among roofers than in manufacturers, so you must do your homework and investigate as much as possible. Eventually I settled on All About Roofing, LLC in Surprise, AZ. They are a Preferred Certified Owens Corning contractor. Their web site was helpful. In it they state, “We hold true to the work we offer and have our customer's best interests at heart. Delivering the best is our goal." Having “our customer's best interests at heart" is the phrase that caught my attention. If true, it means that AAR takes a kind of fiduciary stance towards their customers. If the customer is not happy, then AAR is not happy and will do whatever it takes to care for their customer's needs. Such was the case in my situation. When I met with Logan K, I was clear about what I wanted. My goal was an energy efficient roofing system that moved a constant flow of air up through the eave vents under the roof deck and out the ridge vents. He listened patiently as I went over my list. 1. Completely tear off the two layers of shingles that were on the roof 2. Inspect the decking for any needed repairs 3. Remove metal fixtures as needed. Logan said AAR's standard practice is to remove all metal fixtures and replace them with new ones: drip edges, plumbing and exhaust vents, wind turbines, skylights. 4. Remove an inoperative passive solar panel, a TV antenna and two metal roof jacks from a previous project 5. Remove the 25 feet of old ridge vent 6. Install synthetic roofing underlayment. Logan recommended OC Titanium UDL 25. 7. Install OC starter shingles on all eaves and rakes 8. Install OC Cool Duration Frosted Oak architectural shingles with a 135 mph wind rating. AAR installs each shingle with six nails, not staples, into the OC synthetic fabric nailing strip. 9. Install new OC ridge vents the full length of the main ridge and the two shorter ridges over the garage and office. (AAR installed four color coordinated, not bare metal, wind turbines.) 10. Install new OC ridge and hip shingles for a final, classy touch My list described not just a new roof but a roofing system with coordinated roofing components designed to work together to form a single unit of protection for my house. The granules in the Frosted Oak shingles are treated to reflect UV rays and keep deck temperatures down. Occasional blue granules in the brown tone shingles give a frosted look which softens the appearance of the roof and matches it perfectly with the exterior paint scheme of the house. The design of the hip and ridge shingles makes the roof appearance unique. I have not seen another asphalt shingle roof like it. Logan confirmed that my choices for roof components would qualify the roof for an OC transferable warranty. We settled on my list for the project, but I had one more request before I signed the contract. I wanted to interview the owner of AAR, LLC, Devin N, and inquire about his business model and the values that undergird his company. Logan agreed without hesitation. He set up a meeting at the AAR office. I met with Devin and Logan for close to an hour. I heard the story of the company, the values that Devin uses to run his company and a description of his business model. Devin answered all my questions. By the end of the meeting, we both had a clear idea of what I wanted and how AAR planned to accomplish it. I signed the contract, paid half down and left with the installation date on my calendar. Later, I requested the name of the foreman for the 10-man crew, one of several crews that AAR employs. On installation day, I introduced myself to the foreman, and we discussed some issues I wanted to clarify. We continued to communicate during the day. The crew demonstrated strong teamwork and skilled experience in everything they did. In early afternoon, the owner, Devin, dropped by to look at the work and talk to his crew. At the end of the day, Logan came to do a final inspection and address any questions or concerns I might have. I am very pleased with the outcome of the project. I have the roofing system I want, the level of quality in materials I require and the transferable warranty I can pass on to a future owner. All About Roofing was able to deliver the roof I required because I was clear about what I wanted. In fact, AAR was inspired to work with me because I took their profession and the project seriously by educating myself about every aspect of installing an Owens Corning roofing system. We created a customer-contractor partnership that benefited us both. I highly recommend All About Roofing, LLC to install an Owens Corning Roofing System on your home. If you live in the Valley west of Phoenix, then talk with All About Roofing about your needs. They are a local company in Surprise, AZ, and the quality of their work is excellent. They did not pressure me, rush me or try to oversell me. They did not talk down to me or try to impress me. Instead, they listened to me and helped me understand better what I wanted. They are quietly confident and no question I asked was dumb or beneath them to address. The residential roofing business is highly competitive and successful selling is important to stay in business. But AAR's business goal is not to make a huge profit off their next customer. Rather, it is to make a profit that is fair both to their customers and themselves by serving as many customers as they have capacity to serve at a high level of quality and customer satisfaction. They have a sustainable business model, and it produces good quality results. If you have residential roofing needs, I recommend you include a bid from All About Roofing. John S.
