False advertisement! Beware
This company claims to constantly be "promoting from within," yet they run adds on craigslist for open positions!? This company advertises a base salary that is no where near accurate. This company states that there is orientation and job training when neither of the two exist! This company literally employs individuals with no experience who are asked to wear a full dress uniform misrepresenting themselves as officers whom have zero ability to even carry out basic "citizen arrest" protocol when it comes to crimes taking place or about to take place.
This company has a ranking system that means absolutely nothing since as a supervisor you can be asked to turn in uniforms for doing your job and being honest about how inappropriately management handles business! The hr department does not answer the phone, they do not return phone calls or emails for approximately 2 weeks-1 month and then they will blame it on you? If your ever needing to discuss something important you may as well just learn how to send numerous emails back and forth because nobody takes anything the officers have to say into consideration... Stay away!
One of your employees
So me and my husband were walking through the civic center court yard going to the shelter that i reside in above the court yard. As we are walking through a homeless man gets up and walks over to the trash cans and starts urinating. Mind you we are pushing our 8 month old daughter in her stroller and she was awake. The security guard older white gentleman gray hair that looks like he has a bowl cut just walked away like nothing happened and after we passed him he said something to my husband about his cigarette but we were already on our way to the smoking area not to far from the elevators. He had sounded like he might have been drunk when he spoke. And threatened to call the cops on my husband over a cigarette but not call the cops on a man that was uraniating in front of a child. I'm complaining because i feel as if that was completely uncalled for, for him to say anything to my husband about a cigarette and say nothing to a man uraniating on your security grounds where you were put to work to keep that property and the people who are there just walking through or not safe and keeping the property clean and in front of a child and i feel as if he was not doing his job. Today's date is 3/14/20 time is 9:50 p.m.
Guards lying on the timesheets
Guards coming in late and writing down that they are there on time I work as a guard at ashley furniture and see guards stealing hours they are not working all tI'm the supervisors are told about it but we are so hard up for guards they let it slide. That is not fair to the rest of the hard working guards that are there on time every day management for allied does not have a professional way to document employees hours they use a time sheet to keep track of hours and those are falsified on a daily basis
Some ideas
Well just a few ideas and questions.
- Since we are so low paid why do we not have any sort of MATCHING 401k; we know most employees won't contribute anyways.
- Communication. We have no way to enquire, suggest or anything to our HR. Why not set up a anonymous contact or even a direct path. There are many thing y'all should want to know from employees not being paid, racial issues and management not wanting to handle any of that!
Mr. Timothy Larkin, Security Director
I was essentially asked to turn in my Uniforms for having a mild misunderstanding via email with my Boss. PLEASE keep in mind that I am a Supervisor myself with decades of both private security & LE experience, yet I was basically disregarded and thrown to the curb like a piece of trash because the "Director of Security" doesn't want to do his job! Apparently violatIng the law including ethical standards & code of conduct is okay with Allied because HR also refuses to address the issue! I have seen numerous incidents mishandled, criminals not prosecuted for theft, Officers stealing company time, management literally ignoring dangerous or extremely volatile situations including no support from local PD. This company should be investigated at the very least and psych evaluations should be administered to upper Management immediately!
People who complain about being firing from companies like this one clearly just don't know how to do their job and enjoy walking their hypocritical bald [censored] around spreading lies about their coworkers
That sounds like a rather personal response...? If I am reading it correctly that is because of all the broken English...
Oh lol
what kind of a name is Xanadu you sound like a south african prostitute

slander bullying and harassment
I am a guard in dallas texas at home depot dc and I have been there for 1yr and 6months. I am a very polite and respectful guard who does my job to the fullest.. I have little to no complaints in my file, with that being said I have asked my dos for a schedule change in order to be home with my daughter in the night hours after school she is 5yrs old but to avail it didnt happen. I continued to work my assigned shift 3pm til 11pm but have been involved in an issue that has raised an alert within myself. There is this guard on my shift that is barley legal but has such a nasty attitude towards the drivers shift leads and any co worker that she deems any issues with and majority of the time the behavior is unjust and uncaused for that she exibit. I have spoken again with my dos about a shift change due to not being able to coexist with this officer in a what's supposed to be a business setting. This guard has cursed me out called me derogatory names and telling untruths causing other issues amongst myself and other guards. This is in no way ethical behavior. The dos shows favoritism and refuses to allow a shift change or any other type of resolution. My final step is contacting hr. Thus guard is a eye sore for the company due to the way she treat others. Please help.

Allied Barton Employees Uniform Deposits of $200. ea being held illegally
Basically when the merger of allied barton and allied universal security; over 140, 000 allied barton employees were offered to continue employment with the newly formed company. The problem is that no allied barton employee received their $200 uniform deposit back and was told that they have to wait til end of aus employment to receive back. The problem I have is all allied barton uniforms were returned to allied barton to be destroyed and then allied universal issued their uniforms. (uniforms did not change hands between companies so therefore it was illegal for the uniform money transfer to occur; from allied barton to allied universal.
This was all completed by august 01; 2016; and since then ive tried to get someone at local tampa office and corporate to return my deposit asap.
The new company policy for new employees has always been that no uniform deposit be required for aus new employees; so why is aus holding allied barton uniform money hostage? Trying to form a class action lawsuit that will benefit all allied barton employees; if this matter is not resolved to my satisfaction. S/o brian fadden

You guys have a female employee that takes her job way past her limits and you guys need to do something about it. The other day she actually stuck her finger in my husbands face to tell him he needed to be quiet, and today I watched her actually touch another guest in the library telling him he needed to go speak to her supervisor, maybe she was helping him up. But when she warned him the first time for sleeping, she didnt even wake him up she just talked at him while he was sleeping. The internet was down, we all had to wait for over an hour. Yea the guy fell asleep. I went to wake him up when the internet was fixed and she wasn't having it, she just had him kicked out. Why is such a miserable person dealing with people who are just minding there business. She needs to stop touching people. And she needs to do her job correctly. Had she initially woke him up to warn him. He would have not still been asleep. Then she just had him kicked out. I am so tired of watching this short black lady just harass people in the library
rude supervisor
Im package handler in Chandler Az. The female security very rude to us package handlers, and is on a power trip. She has called us slackers if we forget our badge, she refuses to let us use the bathroom even though it says its for all employees. She will spray air freshener right in front of us because we smell like sweat from working. When we leave she will spray alot more. Its to the point that she will make someone else do it because she doesnt want to. Ive seen this happen twice. Even if the other security guard with her is busy doing something. Every other security guard is very friendly and will make us feel equal to everyone else and welcomed there. But she makes us feel like trash, and unwelcomed. She acts like she runs the place to be honest. Ive even seen her argue with people working here, and close the gate on a truck driver and make him wait because of paperwork. I asked another guard if she could do that and they said they are not allowed to stop anyone from leaving. I seriously hope their company sees this and acts on it. I have heard so many people complain about this lady and hope she gets fired.
aggression
At 1506 pm I witnessed security david lemus restraining and punching a homeless man in the face while reatraint. On the floor outside at the entrance of a mcdonald's restaurant. Once he saw the gathered customers observing his action he release the homeless man who then had a bloody nose.
The security guard claims it was self defense... What we the customers saw was that the homeless man was already outside on the floor restrained with him on top hitting him on the face.
After the homeless man was released to walk away with a bloody nose he started provoking and challenging the other homeless people that were around.. He scared the customers more than the homeless people actually did.
He escalated the violence because he was angry and wanted to take out his anger on anyone who accepted his challenge..
When I asked him to identify himself to me (name, and company) he told me "who the [censored] are you for me to tell you" that I had no authority and should leave. His shirt only had the logo security guard so I did not know which company he works for. I went inside and spoke to mcdonald's manager karina.
She was able to collect his supervisor information when I called the number it was a man named hugo who claimed to be the owner of allied universal.
Further more, this guard sounds like a cowardly bully.
Homeless people? Really? Those people are usually very week and fragile because they don't eat healthy like the rest of us.
Why doesn't he go to the local gym and try bouncing some weight lifters off the walls? He won't, because everyone knows how that would end. He's a coward!
A private security person has no reason to put their hands on anyone unless they are acting in the defense of themself or those who can't defend themselves.
What I read here identifies an individual that needs his license pulled and employment terminated. He's a lawsuit waiting to happen.
atrocious management and constant disrespect and abuse
I have worked for this company for a few years now and sence I have worked with the company as a site supervisor and previously a workerand i have watched and observed (tanya) the client manager, abuse, lie to, mislead, and manipulate many employees and most of all I have witnessed this person lie over and over to myself other workers and managers. As well...

The Male security guard has been giving me problems since he started. Every week he is very rude and nasty. Swearing at me, throwing my paperwork. Please talk to him. I don't know his name, he never wears a name badge. Which he should have a name badge on while working. He is the only male security guard at the Spanish Springs Pitney Bowes in the Reno NV area.
not paying correct hours
This company refuses to pay for hours worked. My total hours owed at one point was up to 39 hours of OT. This was eventually paid down to 11 hours after months of complaints and protest sent to operations managers, branch managers and finally HR management. Then 1 month later the total began to grow week by week until it has now reached 22 hours again. Once again Operations Managers were notified as the shortages occurred. I was told "if it makes you feel better, it's not just you that's been shorted, it's everyone". That does not make me feel better. I am 39 years and never in my entire working life have I ever experienced something like my employer refusing to pay for hours worked.
transfer issue
I've been wanting to transfer for awhile, and I interviewed with Cummins to be transferred closer to home and the Man over us has sent a couple applicants to fill my spot at my site in Seymour, my supervisor has been trying to fill the 3rd shift spot instead of having me transfer. I feel it's unfair, and unfair to Cummins when they multiple spots open which one spot should be mine once I'm transferred. I've been waiting and understand the switch of hands from Ms Walker to Mr Cincebox and Mr Cotton, but it's unfair my supervisor is making me wait longer so that he may utilize the applicants that were meant to fill my position for a different position.
security guard rudeness
This complaint is because of the rude security guard at the following address
Keystone (tyson) in bakerhill alabama.
The security guard, on first shift, is a black male, around 6 foot tall, hefty built, maybe around 60 years old, and was told he was over other guards but im not for sure.
Im an employee of this plant for 20 years and have never had trouble going to work. Its hard enough to work as long as I have without someone like this giving me hell to get to work. He has seen me time and time again go through the gate to work, so he knows I work there, but if anyone, not just me, forgets their id card, he wants you to park and walk 200 yards in rain, sleet, snow, doesnt matter, to get to my job.
I understand security but he takes it to another level. He threatens people about what he can do if you dont follow his directions to a "T". He acts like he is God and customer service is not existent with this man. He has said he can take my id and parking pass out of my car, which is illegal, because he owns nothing in my car. If he did that it would be theft. I have already spoke to a lawyer as this has happened to alot of individuals that works there and we are tired of it. If someone is trying to work he doesnt need to make us work to get there. You need to handle this situation and figure out away to allow people to get to work without being harassed. Sometimes a car may break down and we get someone to take us to work. Do we need to be punished for this because someone in car doesnt work there? He makes you walk almost 200 yards if everyone in car doesnt have id. Its stupid and becoming a nuisance.

security
They have been harassing me for years now on me playing the piano at the Union station. Which is not a crime. The people love my music an they often give me tips but they some how stop that when in all honesty they have no right to. Even the sheriffs at the station have not one problem with my music. They say not to worry. I have talked to the supervisor about them several times an he said they shouldn't be worried about you or even try an stop you. I'm writing this complaint simply because I keep getting harassed and I just want it to stop.
Have you had multiple complaints coming from the security or other people at the station? When that happens, you are not allowed to enter the property. Security might know you already. As for me, i play the piano too but without any issues.
An account manager
I was hired at Allied/Universal to work at San Francisco's UCSF Hospital. I worked there just a little over a year and within that one year I didn't make it to work two times, if I was three, it was to many. I called every time I had to take time off. I was always punctual, well groomed, and did my job properly. But you have an account manager that...
