Mandates
Please look at the following data regarding masks.
At this point I feel the L.A. Health Dept. has proven themselves unfit to give advice regarding Covid and mandates.
Please review the following info. and do some independent research on these topics. I believe that blindly following government agencies could be counterproductive to protecting ourselves and those we care about.
Keep in mind that mandates are not laws. Only elected legislators can make laws. The Health Department are not elected and they can not make or enforce laws.

AMC A-List
I have been charged for 5 months of AMC A-List subscription service which I did not give authorization for. I have tried to contact AMC via the phone only no one is answering the phone. I tried to call corporate same thing no one is answering the phone and the message says you're not taking phone calls. I went to a local AMC the manager was rude to me did not give me the proper information for me to try to correct this. This is a unique situation because I was paying for my son's account before the pandemic, AMC reactivated the account in July without permission to charge my credit card for his account, he never wanted his account reactivated because he can no longer go to the movies since he has a job that requires too much his time to be at work. I would like the money refunded to my credit card. All of the responses we get via email are your standard answer that the accounts were reactivated July 1st.

Trying to get a refund
I paid $121.58 for tickets and concessions at AMC. Due to a technical issue, the movie did not play. I have been trying to get a refund with no success because the AMC customer service is so incredibly bad. The theater could not issue a refund because I purchased through my digital wallet. I have tried 3(!) customer services numbers given to me by the manager of the theatre. None accept voice calls or voice messages. I have submitted two requests via stubs. Both sent automated emails of FAQ's with the note reply to this message if it DID NOT resolve your issue. But the replies bounce back as undeliverable.

Kanye with special guest drake live in concert
I had two tickets to the Kanye and Drake live event at AMC theatre 16 last night and went through an entire show of poor volume that completely ruinined the show. The IMAX theatre not only didn't have adequate volume but the volume was not calibrated to make the music sound good which resulted in a huge disappointment and a complete waste of money. The steam itself had good volume on Amazon Prime and so it had to be the theatre. This was extremely frustrating as it ruined what could've been an amazing experience.
Desired outcome: I want to be refunded for wasting my time and money for a incomplete show last night.
AMC theatre Crestwood, Il
I can not reach this theatre by phone or in person. I've had made several attempts to call to book a theatre for a private party with food for 35 people. I went in person at 2pm to book and the theatre was closed. The website states it is open from 11am-11pm. There is a showing scheduled at 3pm so I figured the theatre would definitely be open. This is extremely unprofessional and I do not feel comfortable booking a party of this size since they can't be reached by phone or in person.
Wi-Fi
With movie ticket access becoming digital, it is important to be able to have connectivity on your personal device (smartphone) when arriving at the theatre. In my experience, several of the AMC locations are virtual dead zones for my carrier (Verizon), so having a Wi-Fi service option is great. However, I have never been able to access AMC's Wi-Fi network to date. It takes you to a log-in screen where you provide your email and password, but all that happens is, it refreshes and asks for your email and password again. Sometimes, I will only get as far as entering my email before it refreshes. It is extremely frustrating, as I have to travel outside the theatre until I can connect to my network, just so I can access my e-ticket. I've resorted to having to take screenshots of the ticket before coming into the building, just because I can't open the AMC Stubs app due to lack of connectivity.

Streaming service
I purchased venom 2 to watch on my lg tv. $19.99 for he version. I have spent two hours testing and reinstalling everything including resetting my tv, all apps work except this one. It just clocks forever, and I can't even close the app. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app as well. My internet is solid abs on the tv it hot 200 meg down and up. This is an issue with AMC app. I'm so aggravated right now, can't watch a movie they charged $20 for. Wren I go to contact, it tells me to call a number and the number tells me to use the online contact form so there is no way to reach anyone. This is ridiculous and feels like a con job. I can't watch the movie, I want a refund and I will delete my account and never use this service again. It has so many complaints that say the same thing, they know it has issues but they don't fix them. They just keep selling people movies and hoping they will eat the $20 loss out of frustration. I will not, the more effort I have to put in, the more complaints I will file. Shady business tactics AMC, you lost me as a customer in your theaters as well as streaming.

I am reaching out with serious concerns regarding the lack of open caption movie availability. My parents and aunt are all deaf and we had tickets to view the Eternals movie at AMC Tysons 16 on November 9, 2021 with open caption at 7:25pm. The theater had an issue with their water heater and all movies were canceled. I received a notification of the cancelation only when I received an email of my refund at 5:12pm. I have continuously checked online to reschedule our viewing with open caption to no avail.
Can you please help me understand why there are currently no movies with open captioning?

On 11/05/2021 i went to go see the 11:30 showing at AMC theater, 134 4th street #3000 San Francisco ca. 94103 Metreon, of marvels eternals .
I'm a AMC stubs premiere customer my number is [protected], I'm there if not every Friday every other Friday.
After the show the security guard falsely accused me of steeling drinks which is right in from as you come up from the elevator and he was extremely rude telling me not to come back.
I told a police Ofcr. Who was down stairs, he said I wasn't steeling anything and that he'd talk to the security guard i left the theater. If the we weren't meant to have as many drinks as we want then they should put the dispensers behind the counter. Poor theater sound quality
The first 40 minutes of the movie Eternals no one could hear. Silent theater patrons, and still- the worst sound quality I have ever witnessed. I was harassed and threatened to be kicked out of the theater for eating with out my mask on. When asked about putting my masked on I complied but continuously threatened to be kicked out! I point yo others that were eating while my masked was on and no action was taken. No one else was told to put their makes on and threatened like I was. Talked to the manager. The theatre and the staff

AMC is certainly not what it used to be. They can't staff their bars, many times they are not open at all and when they are it's beer or wine only... they have a full bar behind them and refuse to serve mixed drinks

Movie experience
You have a fathom event happening for the movie after we fell. I'm complaining because it's theater AMC Woodland Hills did not have the movie ready to go so the 7 pm show did not happen. There is no excuse for this. This movie is only for 2 days and 3 showings. This was unfair to your customers who were in that theater waiting to see After We Fell.
You need to figure out how to add more movie times for After We Fell.

Attended a 9pm showing of Venom. I ordered food at the stand and gave my seat B5. After waiting 45 mins no food came. I then left srat and went back to stand. Nobody was there, waited by the kitchen door. Someone came out and saw my receipt said D5. I was then told that the kitchen was closed and I couldn't get any food at that point. Was also told I could see about getting vouchers which is reason why I am sending this complaint.

My A List was canceled due to Covid 19. AMC started charging me again when they reopened against my wishes. I have been trying to contact them but you can't call them. I have disputes of 3 months of charges that have not been refunded.

Total Experience at AMC 16 in Woodland Hills, CA
Went to AMC Promenade 16, in Woodland Hills, CA, today. Problems: No change when buying tickets, Snack Bar upstairs says No hot dogs(hasn't had them for weeks) only has pretzel bites, and No dollar bills for change. Pretzel bites were horrible, returned one of two orders, to them for refund, lady who gave me refund kept the receipt. When movie doesn't start on time, I looked at our tickets and see they've sold us the wrong tickets (for a different movie) so we missed beginning of the movie we came to see. Go to get refund for tickets, escalator is broken to go down and elevator is broken as well, I have debilitating arthritis in both knees, have to slowly walk down 2 fights of stairs to leave theater. Receive refund for tickets, but also notice They did have hot dogs at the other snack bar, on way out! Still out money for 1 large coke, 1 pretzel bites and 1 red vines candy. I am requesting a refund please, on those 3 items, that the first lady kept our receipt on. This theater needs to be closed down. I've never had such a horrible experience!
