I purchased the L616 Maverick Motion leather sofa from you a little over a year ago and, after purchasing the warranty, delivery and taxes, paid over $1100.00 for it. I hoped, after spending this much money, that this couch would last me quite some time. I am not hard on my furniture at all. It is just me and two kids, ages 10 and 15. The 15 year old doesn't even come out of his room, so it's just myself and the 10 year old who sit on the couch. He is not hard on it either. This couch is peeling, coming apart at the stitching, coming apart at the armrests, the frame is poking out the back, etc. This is nothing I or my kids have caused. The couch has simply fallen apart, after only ONE year! You would think a $1000 couch would last much much longer than one single year. I DID purchase the warranty, however, as peace of mind. They are actually coming out today. Ive been sitting here, on my Saturday, for hours waiting for them to arrive. But as I'm thinking more and more, I simply want my money back. I do not even want a replacement from American Freight so that couch can fall apart in another year. I am a 40 year old disabled former teacher. I do not have money to be throwing around as I'm on a fixed income now. I cannot afford to be buying $1000 couches every year. I would really like you, American Freight, to do the right thing and give me my money back so I can go somewhere else and buy a couch that will last years for myself and my family. It is absolutely INSANE to me that this LEATHER couch has fallen apart after only one year. You should not be in the furniture building business if this is what happens to your furniture. Yes, I see you don't do returns, but in this case, I believe it's the only right thing for you to do. Thank you, Lisa
