Good afternoon, I stayed at the America's Best August 17th in Galveston TX. 7220 Broadway. The first room I was put into was disgusting. The sheets was not changed. There was stains of blood or makeup on the sheets and hair was on the bed sheets on both beds. Also in the bathroom hair was everywhere. There was a bug crawling up the wall. I contacted the front desk and they loved me to another room. I asked to speak with management and they stated management wouldn't be in until the next day. The next day I asked for management and spoke with Jay. That was the name given. I told him the situation and he stated that I decided to stay and that's all
He had to say. No apologize for the inconvenience or nothing. So I told him I would be making a complaint . I WILL NEVER stay again and another Americas Best Inn.

Her name is Juana I staying in room 104 the room wasn't clean and smelled horrible and she was so mean to me and rude told me to clean my own room if I wanted it clean so bad she was disruptted to the other guest screaming at the other workers and cussing them out it was scaring I will never stay again had bloody tampons in the toilet blood stains on the sheets and it was horrifying

charges and damage to my property.
I was charged for sheets that where already stained. I didnt even use the bed that the sheets where on. And in the process of me dealing with all this in your office mu husband comes in and told me that the truck was broken at the left side window. All of tge tools and compressors where gone. I asked to see the surveillance video and i was told no by the front desk manager. So please give me a call regarding these issues. [protected]

I am writing in a complaint about the hotel I stayed at I need a refund I have called about it 3 times left a message for the manager to return my call they have not called me. I went to stay at your hotel I paid and when I went outside to the parking lot seen the action in the parking lot which was way too busy for me to leave my motorcycle out there it looked like many drugs were being exchanged and people around there were very loaded so I went back in to ask for a refund and was told I could not have one then I got double charged the next day I see they have corrected the one charge but they still owe me 98 99 all I want is my refund I have sent one complaint already this is my second one contact number for customer service is actually reservation line and I am very frustrated and upset more than likely I will not stay at one of your hotels again

Upon checking in the lobby smelled horrible. The hotel appeared run down. Our room smelled like marijuana. There was a roach type bug in the shower. The towels were dirty. We found hair in the sheets. A dog barked for hours outside our door from 2-4 am. The neighbors partied all night and we could hear them up until 5 am until we just left at 5 am. Over all a very dirty place to stay
room with bed bugs
We booked to stay at this hotel from Thursday until Sunday. The first night was barable to say the least. There was old beer cans and socks behind the fridge but we bypassed that it wasn't that big of a deal to us. There was an issue with the tv it wasn't working and it took them a while to come and fix it eventually they did and while doing so the left the door open. We noticed we were getting bit by something but didn't see anything to just dismissed it as a mosquito or something flying in from the door being open. The next night I felt something else biting me. Woke up and noticed bed bugs on the bed. I killed two and Called the front desk they came and saw another few bed bugs and switched rooms but the second room was no better. There was ants all over the night stand. I called the front desk again and they came to check it out and switched the rooms. I have never had bed bugs before, never been but by one and now I have bed bug bits from my hotel stay. I have them all over my arms and legs and face. I am very itchy and it's embarrassing. The hotel said there is no manager on weekends and I would have to wait to speak to one on Monday. They refused a refund. I called hotels.com who issued me a 175$ credit which is great of them and why I will always use them. However, I'm stuck with these bites I had to throw out my clothes and my brand new backpack that I have never got to use but thought this might be a good time. I got bit on one of my tattoos and now the lettering has blistering in them. The man I spoke to was VERY RUDE. He was laughing at the situation and they refused a refund. I find it hard to believe that there is no way to speak to a manager, you run a hotel what's if something worse happened? There's no way to get in contact with them.? This was a horrible experience and the lack of good customer service from the person currently running the front desk is ridiculous.
this hotel has now cancelled 3 of my reservations
This way too big an issue to deal with in a form. 3 times now my reservation has been cancelled, twice at or after midnight leaving me no choice but to drive 2 hours home at 1 am instead of checking into my hotel room. I have the confirmation number the hotel gave me when I set the reservation, but no room. I have already cancelled all future reservations, will NEVER book with this chain again and will spend as much time as I can possibly spare writing negative reviews on every travel site I can find online

The stay here after going through two others rooms ( first, was more than a handful of roaches in the bath tub; second, was nasty and had a horrid smell), was terrible to wake up to being covered in bed bug bites! I've never experienced such and it has been quite horrible. I notified the office to no response, nor a room change. I felt helpless and disgusted. This is horrible. I did read the no refunds sign posted in the office; however, there are a few exceptions and this is one of them. Room 207
front desk customer service
I checked in to America's best inn on 9/3/2018 for one room, one bed, with one dog. The manager who runs the front desk decided on 9/5/2018 to tell me I had to get the f*** out, as I was trying to pay for a third night there. I walked out of the office crying. My older sister then went up to the office to try to pay for to stay and I would just go else where. He proceeded to yell at her and call her a "[censored] b****" I'm assuming because she has short hair. I was in disbelief. I have never been spoken to or treated in such a manor by anyone the way this man spoke and treated me. Not only was I put out for absolutely no reason given, my sister had to experience a grown man hate her and yell at her for being "gay" simply because she has short hair. It was an awful experience to say the least. The sweet woman who cleans in the mornings was even in shock by the way he treated my sister and I. I would like to talk to a corporate official that actually values their guests, IMMEDIATELY.

Details in my review posted on their page...I recommend you not stay at this motel. The room (104, specifically) was very musty & humid even after I adjusted the air conditioner. The carpet was atrocious. The doors on each end of my wing were propped open all night due to extended stay guests that sat just outside the doors smoking. Not safe. Several rooms were wide open to the hallway as extended stay guests wandered in and out of each other's rooms. The room rates posted on the back of the door (room 104) were not honored even after I pointed them out to the gal up front, who responded by saying "that sign is old". Single occupant for one night stay was $69.95. They charged me $98.99 w/ tax. I happened to be in town for a funeral, but I travel for work and I will never, ever stay at this motel, nor any other Americas Best Value Inn. I'll discourage co-workers who also travel for work. I plan to email corporate to file a complaint, also. I did give it a single star because the breakfast was edible, but not great. Don't turn in your room key until you've eaten breakfast because you need it to open the locked breakfast room. And the towels weren't stained, although the lighting in the room wasn't very helpful.
Do not send me a coupon or anything to encourage me to stay at another one of your Americas Best Value Inn hotels/motels. I do not plan to stay again. This motel in particular is representing your image and brand very, very poorly. Might want to make a visit and set some minimum standards.

The Clarksville americas best is infested with bedbugs and the office will not refund your money. When the matter was brought to managements attention all they would do is move me to another room and it too was infested. I have bites up and down my arms and back. I have no choice but to go to another motel and hope it is not full of bedbugs. I called to report it to the corporate office but they told me I would have to fill out a form and send it in. Meanwhile anyone who stays there will be biten and lose whatever they have paid. I rentd it for 2 weeks and lost the majority of my money cause I chose to leave and sleep in comfort.

Juana the laundry lady was very rude to me and the other customers and I caught her looking through my belongings I have stuff missing and the room was disgusting and the breakfast was disgusting she calls customers curse words and she cuts boslx springs with razor blades and I will never go there again the room was 117 my medicine is gone and some of my stuff and I talked to the front desk and they wouldn't do nothing about it

The hotel staff was very rude and unprofessional. Our room was very dirty; there was urine on the toilet seat and dirt behind the bathroom door and in the shower. The sink in the bathroom was dirty with what looked like makeup on the sink, and the towels were dirty as well. There was an outlet behind the bed that didn't have a cover over it and the bottom outlet was broken. The sitting chair had massive stains all over it and the smell was horrendous (and we had a non-smoking) room. We ended up leaving and not sleeping there because of how unsafe/unsanitary the room was. We expected more considering this is a larger branch hotel, but were very disappointed.
bad experience at your hotel
checked in 2 hrs past check in time and assigned room 104. My daughter and I entered to find that the room had bedding removed and obviously not ready to release to us. I have a cast on my right foot with all my luggage in my hands and went back to front desk. We waited 10-15 minutes for the hotel to ready a room for us. They gave us another room and that room had the dead bolt ripped off, the lights did not work, and the tissue dispenser broke on the floor as she walked by it. Late at night I was given a 3rd room and the lights did not work and I could not call hotels.com on their phone. So the phone did not work properly either. I had no cell phone service in my room either. The next morning the manager was there and he asked what room I was checking out of. I said "104, to 110 to 114" and he did not ask me how my stay was--he just wanted to check me out. I called him back on my way back home after he refused to give hotels.com a refund. He told them "I should not have stayed after changing rooms 3x". When I spoke to him he told me his name was "john" which I believe is a lie and he hung up on me. Again I am 100% disabled veteran and had a cast on my right foot and he didn't care--only the money he collected.
"John" the manager who lied about his name should be fired.

I paid $292.04 to stay for 3 days and there was also a $48 charge. I cant get them to tell me what it was for. The guy that ran the desk was really rude. I didnt realized i was charged for it until i got to my room when i asked them they wouldnt tell me. This place is terrible. The room i stayed in the door was so broken anyone could have gotten in.

This letter is to inform you of my stay at America's Best Value Inn . The front desk service is horrible at check in . As I let the front desk know my room was paid for and my name and she tells me it's not and say on top of that I have to give 400 dollars more and I told her that is incorrect. So I opened the app to my account and showed her that it was paid through my Bank . Then she said oh I apologize and the price she said was not even my total . My phone does not work in my room. The clock was time was a hour and 30 minutes wrong so I would have missed breakfast if I did not have my cell phone for the correct time. Some of my lights do not work. The tub and shower curtain was dirty. Honestly I deserve a refund . This hotel is clearly not to good standards and I would never recommend any one to stay hear at all!

Beds are horribly stiff, room was okay cleanliness wise. The gentleman that checked us in was great but the manager (baldamor or something like that) is rude and disrespectful. My son left his backpack with toys and clothes in it. I called the next day to find out about it and the manger said they threw it away. You threw it away after one day!?! I told him I understand if you guys get rid of it after thirty days but it had barely been 24 hours since we had checked out. He did not want to give me his name, and I had to ask him how to spell it as well cause didn't offer that either. Which I still don't think I spelled it correctly cause it was harder to understand him for sure. Horrible customer service and now out clothes, toys and a backpack. He was very unprofessional and if this is how your company runs a business is ridiculous. I would like to corporate to contact me in regards to this immediately.

This was sent after our stay on Aug 4 tee did not receive a response until August 8 from Andy Patel general manager with a discount for a future stay. Absolutely ridiculous. I responded as this is inappropriate and now I want a mom of 50% off our stay. I have picture of the filth, black all over the inside door, used dirty face cloth hanging and broken fridge seal so we could not utilize. Completely disgusting and below standards.
We are very disappointed with the way we have been treated and lack of insight into the lack of cleanliness your hotel exposed is to with our young children Word of mouth goes a long way and we would NEVER recommend your Inn

I cleacked in at 8:46pm went to wal mart to get some laundry detergent to wash my kids uniforms for school came to the room around 9:30 the bathroom was very nasty had hair all over the toilet seat. I weny to the car and got some gloves and cleaning supplies i had in the car to clean the bathroom. My sons were on one of the beds and said he seen a bug. I told them to get up and i pulled the sheets back there was pubic hair in the bed i called the front desk and told her the issue she said she dont know what i was going to do didnt offer me a different room or anything g i went to the front desk and ask if i could get my money back so me and my kids could have a place to sleep she told me no i could only get the $25 bacause for the deposit because i paid cash me and my kids had no where to sleep that was money i could have used to get me and my kids another room but we end up sleeping in the car. What could i do to get my money back or get a room at a different hotel could someone please give me a call [protected]

I'm a Radio Host and I travel a lot for my Business and I Checked in Thursday Afternoon very tired from a 8 hour drive so I later down and got some rest and woke up to a roach climbing the walls and took some images. I woke up this morning with bites on my right shoulder and buttocks, Management came in the room and they refused to refund me unprofessional
