Prior to this incedint I liked Manger Lauran as a daughter and respected her and trusted her as manger There was never any ill feelings or negative interactions.
Early March I attended the Gym and completed a form with Manger Lauran to extend/conitue to place a hold on my Gym membership to attend surgery.Due and According to Lauran's professional negligence She failed to place my GYM. membership on hold which resulted for my bank account overdrawn and dishoner fees and incificiant funds for rent. Cosequntly My land lord applied for my eviction while I was in hospital. However I met with bank manger and legal advisor and we relised Lauran never placed it onhold the bank manger and I called Lauran she sincerely apolgised and said she will refund all the money including the dishoner fee the Bank manger Jhon at st George Brookvale is happy to be awittness. Lauran asked me to get the tribinual papers and bank statement.
I attned the Gym and provided her with all the documents as requested and she was very sorry and explained it was all her fault she never selected the hold botton and she became emotional and said "I resigned I got in so much trouble with the owner" I comforted her and only asked for GYM money.
However after that meeting Lauran avoided my call and when I attended the Gym she waould say that she has processed my refunds. Weeks/month and nothing happened. So I attended the GYM and asked to speak with the owner she refused and I said I prossessed your money. I said "I recalled you actuallly never took my documents you just looked at them. She asked for amedical certificate which I privied and I insited on her taking a copy of the l documents which she did. And again I left and waited nothing happened. Waited a weeks nothing happened. I attned the Gym and asked for an update she refused to give me any contact information and became hostaile/unprofessional saying its my words agaist her. I relised she was telling all lies she
1= never resigned (she was emotional black mail me she new how much I cared for her)
2- never informed the owner/manger
3-never refuned my money or credit my GYM account.
However I said thanks for owningh up
She proomised that she is meeting the manger/owner today Monday @ lunch time and will processes it and will be done before 1430pm that day. And will call me. I waited till 4pm she said manger never turned up for the meeting but not to worry she will meet up on thurday another meeting and willprocesse it for sure. Again never happened so I attened the GYM that thursdy and asked she convinced me again that it was the/owner/manger never turning up to the meetings.
I asked to speak to the manger.owner reluctant but she finnally put me on the phone to what she made me belive to be owner/manger I spoke to a male who refused to give me his name I explained what has been going he asked me to provide documentation and I said I gave her all the documents she coppied them and she said yes I have the documents and he said he will proccess the refunds.
Weeks later and she is giving me the run around and her attatude twards me became exremely hostile as if I done something wrong.
However I recognised Pablo Meza voice because he was the one who signed me up brookvaleI still had his number & I called him he was very apprubt and angry asking me how I got his number and how I knew and I simply told him Pablo I know you very well you were the one who sighned me up at btookvale. Anyway he claimed he never received any document and to email him this time myself the documents which I did and he response was the below email

But we will need you to allow client care consent to share information with us, so that we can confirm the admission dates and to continue to try help you in any other way.

We stopped using the Gym as I have Medical issues, since last 8 months. I have written and went to the Gym multiple times but the manager stated that she couldn't do anything as I have contract for 10 more months. To me this is daytime highway robbery. Despite multiple notices, my credit card is continued being charged. My daughter is minor so she can't drive herself to the Gym, so her charges are being put on credit card for last 8 month. I request the Gym to cancel the membership of my daughter and mine and refund for $500 (last 8 months charges). Thanks

Hello, I am emailing about Anytime Fitness Bentley.
In 2016 I was a member here for a short period as I was requiring knee rehabilitation. Since then I have moved houses (4 Anzac street Bayswater) and requested that my membership to be cancelled, back then!
At best they put it on suspension despite what I requested.
I have asked for it to be cancelled multiple times, and even went into the facilities in 2019.
I have emailed Bentley Anytime Fitness and logged complaints about this multiple times, with no response back.
Money has been taken out of my account monthly that I was unaware of until I checked my statements. Anytime Fitness Bentley has not listened to my requests and only recently have they emailed out a cancellation form that I received from my husbands email.
I feel I shouldn't have to pay and would like a refund of my money to be returned back to me for something that I have not been using, wanted cancelled, requested it multiple times in person and email.
I kindly request my money be transferred back into my account.

8/1/2022 940am Tecumseh Mi Anytime fitness, for the last 6 months or more, a female member has talked very loud , obnoxious and has engaged in very heated aggressive arguments over her cell phone. The entire time she works out she is on her cell phone talking. This is rude and inconsiderate to the other members attempting to work out. Numerous members have talked with her about her behavior and have talked with management and the owners, We are told by owners and management they have talked with her about her behavior.Yet she continues to talk on her phone. Why is it that her behavior is condoned. We pay are dues, clean up after ourselves, are considerate to those around us. Do we not have the expectation of being able to have an atmosphere were we can have a healthy and enjoyable workout. Since our attempts to address this with the management and owners has been unsuccessful, please contact them so this issue can be address and we all can enjoy a health environment to work out in. I have been going to the lynchwood branch in peterborough and this is now the 5th time I haven’t been able to get out of the barriers after using the gym I have been forced to mount the curb as a last resort after waiting half an hour to get out this has done damage to my vehicle which wasn’t needed however this was the only way out as I do NOT have 30 minutes to waste waiting to get out of the gym which I pay £30 every month and can’t even get access to. I’ve called the lynchwood branch and the lad that answered wasn’t any help and said they will look at it which they clearly haven’t.

I signed up for membership June 2021. I specifically asked if I could cancel at anytime for any reason cause I did not want stuck in long contract. The employee said "Yes, absolutely!" Well, a year later I wanted to cancel due to ongoing medical issues. I was told I had to provide medical evidence of disability. I provided them with a letter from the Veterans Administration stating that I have a 50% service connected disability. The employee said it looked great, took my key fob and said everything was good to go. Couple weeks later I get email saying my military orders (they were NOT military orders) were not good enough and I had to have letter from doctor saying i was "permanetly unable to work out" VA medical doctor said "she doesnt write letters" I dont know what else to do. I gave them evidence, they took my door fob but yet are still taking money out of my account! HELP!

It has been 6 months that I have paid gym membership to anytime fitness palam
Vihar gurgaon 122017 located in palam triangle mall. The staff has been giving false promises since December 2021 that gym will be functional from next week! It has been 6 months now and the same answer is being given.
I have been following up with refund and the staff ( mr. honey/ mr. Manish Rana) is again giving false commitments that cheque will be ready tomorrow day after etc etc.
I have given them timelines and that also have been breached and now my calls are avoided.
I would be compelled to take legal action and put this ordeal on Twitter in case my money is not refunded.

I was reviewing past bank statements due to some fraudulent activity. I noted on 5/28/2021 I had two separate charges on my card that I didn't notice at the time.
One being approved for local personal training at Mountain Home, AR location, the other one is not approved, does not associate with this gym, has a number that is not valid. Me and the gym managers Tim and Laura manager called the help line for the gym, Marvin was unable to locate either charges and was no help.
1st approved charge was ABC*Anytime PT [protected] AR Ref#6713 for $249.00 card ending 0907
2nd not approved charge says

If you are poor do not join Anytime Fitness, they will make you pay $250.00 if you try to quit your membership, and there membership rules are not clear because I sent them a postal letter stating I wanted to quit, and was told where it says that in the contract does not mean that, it means that you have to go in person to where you signed up and they will give you a letter to sign after you give them $250.00.

I went to see the manager, Kayla McInnis, about reactivating my fob, thinking it may have to do with an update to Silver Sneakers. I was told in a highly judgmental tone that I had been banned from the Brucewood Gym and the Pinehurst Gym which I do not use. I asked why. She mentioned two complaints from women. I was surprised and indignant and asked for names and specifics since anyone can manufacture baseless complaints. No details were forthcoming. I wrote a letter. See below.
Your managers lack customer service training. My fob was deactivated and I was summarily banned from your facility without a hearing or proof. The proper procedure is to have a conference with one or both aggrieved parties to identify the problem, to see if it is baseless or real. I use the gym bike for 30 minutes once a day but not everyday at around 11 pm. I have been doing this on and off since the start of the covid pandemic and have had nothing but insignificant nor troublesome interactions with fellow fitness seekers. I am 74 years old and have little interest in the female gender. I live alone and do extend pleasantries. Recently, according to your manager two females have complained about me, which I found surprising. I asked for specifics and neither the names of the accusers or the nature of my offense could be ascertained. This rush to judgment is highly prejudicial to the reputation of your gym. It may subject you to a lawsuit, all because of poor judgment from a manager in need of training. As for the complainants, the lateness of the hour, the relative proximity of the ellipticals to the bikes, the hysteria around covid, my use of stretch bands to exercise my upper body while pedaling—all this, may contribute to eerie feelings that these women (are they real or made up, who knows) find difficult to handle. Please train your managers better and reinstate my access to your gym.

My contract with anytime fitness ends on 8 Dec 2021. However, due to the pandemic, it was extended to 8 Feb 2022. When I applied for termination on 3 Jan 2022 (1 mth notice required), they mentioned I could only cancel on 28 Feb 2022 because they charge on a monthly basis and is not able to charge pro-rated fees.
He further shared that those who start mid month or even end month would have to pay for the entire month. This does not apply to other anytime fitness. Please think twice before you sign up with this dishonest gym.

Dennice Young is the worst regional manager in the area. We have asked for fans in the club for years. I had a heat stroke and it is a health issue, but they never put effective fans in the club. The club has literally been at 80 degrees in the summer and it is a health concern. When addressed, Dennice yawned while I was telling her the issue and told me that it really wasn't a problem what they kept the club temperature at. She was condescending and would never give a straight answer when I asked for a manager higher up. She said it was a HIPPA violation to give out that information. -Yes, that's literally what she said- For anyone with a thinking mind, imagine how insulting that is as a bold faced lie and not even a convincing one.
After 7 years of paying $120 extra a year for maintenance and equipment fees on top of the membership fee every month, I realized they didn't want to keep a paying customer after all that time. I will let everyone in the area know about her customer service tactic: to belittle, yawn at and condescend the clients. Won't ever consider anytime fitness again because of her solely. I fact, I have moved to an equivalent gym that is $180 less a year and has no equipment fees.

I am a long term member of the Farmington, NM East side gym. Last year it was switched to West Side. Well in the Summertime I went in to the West side location and put my account on hold due to finances. There was a native american guy who did the hold on my account. when the next month came i was still billed when i went into the gym they stated it was only for the tanning that was removed. So they would fix it. A few weeks (8/5/2021) went by and I was called that my account was PAST DUE. I called in a spoke to Shobna and she said she would speak to a manager and call me back and didn't. she then sent a text that they could waive the late fees and that was it. I then told her that was unaccetable and wasnt going to pay anything due to my account being on hold. Katie then called me back and stated she would get it taken care of and made right. (which nothing happened).
i went into the East side location and talked to a gentlemen there and he said that the account looked clear, 2 days later my key didnt work, I reached out to them again and they told me at the East side location that I would need to get with the west side location. I spoke to Katie again and she assured me that it would be taken care of which it didnt.
Come OCTOBER it wasnt taken care of. Ang said she would get it back in order. I was told to take my card in and it would be started over. I tried to do that today and it didnt work. they said my account was past due still
As of today November 16th the account still isnt fixed! Angelique assured me that it would be taken care of and I wouldnt need to worry.
This is awful customer service and I am very disappointed in the handling of this matter

Membership costs raised without my consent
I have had an account with Anytime Fitness in Australia since March 2018. I have loved the facilities and always managed to find a gym near me to visit wherever I was. My membership number is 10688e0
My fee has always been the exact same, $29.90 AUD per fortnight. This is a competitive rate that, while not the cheapest, I feel is fair.
Recently I began visiting a club (Newmarket, in Queensland) near my current residence, and the gym owner there raised my fortnight rate to $37.90 AUD without my knowledge or permission.
When I asked the club owner Hisem about this, he said it was to "cover costs" and would only agree to lower my increased rate slightly, not restore it to the former rate I have been paying, if I signed an18 month contract. Not only is this a form of extortion, an 18-month contract is absurdly long. I then asked Hisem to put my rate back to what it was and that I would attend another club instead, and not his any more. He will not action this .
I want to request that my rate be kept at what it is, and to ask the club owner not to do whatever he likes to the accounts of customers that plan on staying with the company for years to come.
Desired outcome: Restoration of $29.90 AUD / fortnight rate

Hi, I have joined the Anytime Fitness club in Retie, Belgium, for the one week free trial. I told immediately the manager I might not continue the membership, as I was temporarily in town, she tolde I need to purchase the acces key for 32.99 euro for my trial, and it will be refunded after the trial is finished. I gave it back before my trial was finished, and I was told in a week I will have the money in my bank account. That was at the beginning of June, I have contacted the manager to look into this, she blamed corona for not paying immediately, and she tolde half July, after that she just gave up answering.
Desired outcome: I want her to pay back the 32.99 for the returned key
