I just need to think of Arizona transferred from another Applebee's which I have worked for since 2014 on this one occasion I received a count of 100 bill from a guest at the restaurant paying your bill. I was unaware it was a comfortable bill and when I went to the office and it was checked it was counterfeit and the generall manager may be paid $100. Said I was responsible for the $100 bill and I was to pay it back but she also told me I could claim $100 less on my taxes to make up $100loss out of my tips . So basically she made me responsible for the $100 walk out but yet she told me I could claim $100 less on my tips to make up for it because I was very unhappy with her decision it was considered a walk or a dining dash whatever you want to call it even if I had taken the $100 bill from the guest and walked it back to the office had her open the office door to check the hundred dollar bill to see if it was counterfeit because there were no pens available at the time check the counterfeit bills you had to go to the office with the manager to check it by the time I got back to the table people were gone and I was stuck with their bills is this legal? 2 months later just the other day two young kids came in and ate all you can eat buffalo wings the promotion that we're having right now the bill was $36 and I think maybe 80 cents but they only left $32 I immediately was her manager and told her they only after two dogs and she told me I had to pay it but I could claim $4 less on my taxes this is ridiculous! I am not supposed to be liable to these diamondback people are people that don't want to pay enough this is not my responsibility I'm there to serve and give good service I have never had this problem my entire career at Applebee's until I come to Arizona I have a good record and a good track record these things have never happened to me before I report them right away I do all the protocol I'm supposed to do in management is just 100% making me pay out of my tips
