Applebee's service

Don't waste your time going to applebees. I would select one star rating, but they are not even good enough for that rating. Service was poor to say the least. We wait for almost 1 hour to get seated, but there was a larger group that came in after us and was seated long before us.Then we waited almost another hour for our food still not sure how much longer it would take to get the food to the table decided to leave without ever getting service. We then went to Wendys and got good food and friendly service. I would never recommend this location to anyone. Very disappointed!

Applebee's very dissapointed

Hello,

My name is Lowell, I was in your establishment located in Carbondale Illinois on 1-07-12 at approximately 3pm with my wife, daughter and her boyfriend having lunch. I live in Wilmington Ohio and was just visiting my daughter whom is going to college there. We finished up lunch and my wife and I started traveling back to Ohio shortly after. About 3 ½ hours away, I needed gas so we pulled over to get some. I tried to use my Chase debit card and it said it was declined, I thought that maybe some red flags were thrown up because I traveled through Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Illinois and now I was going back so I didn’t think much of it and just decided to get a hotel room to spend the night and give it a day to resolve itself. I gave the hotel my Chase debit card and they declined it as well so I thought I had better call Chase to see what was wrong.
I called Chase and while I was reading my card number to them, I noticed that it was not my card. I immediately cancelled my card from Chase so it could not be used. I then called your facility in Carbondale and spoke to the manager there, I believe her name was Nicole. I told her that I had someone else’s card and they must have mine. She immediately said that yes they have my card there and the other gentlemen had brought it back after purchasing an item at shoe carnival and realizing he had the wrong card also. She said all we need you to do is bring back his card and get mine, which would normally be fine but here’s the problem. I am 3 ½ hours away with no money, no gas and no place to stay! She acted like that was not her concern at all. This should have never have happened, my identity was jeopardized along with all my money and I’m stuck in the middle of nowhere with no means of doing anything about it. This was caused by one of your waitresses not knowing her job, or not caring about her customers. Unacceptable!
Long story short, I had to call my daughter (in CARBONDALE) to bring me some money to get a room and gas to get me back to Ohio. This has caused myself and my daughter allot of headaches! I never heard an “I’m sorry” or anything from your Manager or the waitress. I’m am really disappointed in this whole situation, now I am put out 5-7 days to wait for another card, dispute any charges that might have been charged to it, my daughter being inconvenienced to come and bring me money in the middle of the night, extra gas, lodging, etc… just ridiculous and not one apology! I nor my family or friends will ever go in one of your establishments again. I will do my best to make everyone is aware of the type of business you run. Your establishments do NOT care about your customers, and there only concern is they get paid. Your establishments in my experience are obviously either understaffed or untrained, either way your establishment has caused me unnecessary stress in trying to just have lunch with my daughter.

Actually Tasha smart ### they will not be going back. My daughter's boyfriend loves Applebees and my daughter told him that if he ever went back to Applebees she would dump him and ruin his reputation by saying he tried to rape her.

Why didn't you look at the card when you got it back from the server? I always look to make sure it's mine when I use it at a restaurant or anywhere it has to be out of my hands. I know, I know, this makes too much sense.

Applebee's cockroaches ran across table and hand

Along with the bad service, there were 6 of us and when certain food came it was wrong, the hamburger was raw and other entress were staggered, so some of us before others as we started to each, there at least 3 cockraches run across our hand and we killed one and showed the manager, and at the end of the experience which at that point wasnt long, the manager had oly compped one of our meals, I erge this entire city to stay away from this establishment. I plan to post as many blogs on the internet as I possably can to warn people about this infestation. I have also personally went to the department of health and safety to lodge my complaint. I aslo hope this restraunt gets closed down and will email as many people as I can to make this happen, starting with th governor, mayor and the city councel members. They mest with the wrong person. So if you do go there remember my story and dont forget about the roaches because if they are in the front, they will be in the back were the food is; Happy Eating. Oh ya by the way my name is Richard, you will be hearing from me again.

Applebee's drunken managers

I was at applebee's eating my meal (i am a regular at this specific store) and one of the managers came in (mike kwapil) not in uniform but still in his own store. I know he is on dui probation and he isnt supposed to drive and he does anyway and on this specific day he was drinking at the bar! then he got in his camaro and drove home! so much for upholding company standards with this location. the managers and kitchen at this location are both horrible. ive never had a problem with a server or a hostess and i have written to the company and everything and yet nothing happens.

next time call the cops. No one should allow another person drive after drinking. As soon as you saw him get in his car, you should have called 911 and reported it.

Applebee's darlene bartender over pouring alcohol

Apple bees rest claims to be a family place to go. Every time my family have been to this restaurant there has been fights with people getting cut in the face and hurt. There has been north port police there for alcoholic poisoning men being taken away in ambulances to hospitals. Young people sick in the bathroom sick that my wife and children have seen from to much alcohol. All so this is coming from one Bartender name is Darlene who has been there quite A while and she seems to over pour Alcoholic beverages when people have had way to much. The next time some one will die. There are several accidents from leaving apple bees in north port from drunk driving .
Darlene has every manager under her thumb do no matter how much you complain she is still there working and more problems take place from her giving a Philip beverages to people who Are already over the drinking limit and my family and several family's of the community will no longer dine in this Apple-bee's . Darlene needs to looked in too late evenings when she's pouring her Bar.

Applebee's got the wrong food

Called in a To Go order, our menu was out of date. We ordered the Take Two, Applebee's sirloin and the crispy buttermilk shrimp. The take out girl did not say that the Shrimp we ordered was no longer on the menu. We ended up getting home with some shrimp skewers instead of what we'd asked for. I called back to find out what was up and ended up being handed from person to person to person before getting the Store GM. The store GM said i could come back and he'd make me the fried shrimp skewers instead (still not what i'd ordered) and that offer was the last straw i said no thank you and hung up. Now i'm here. If i'd known they didnt have the Crispy Buttermilk Shrimp i would have ordered something else.

I took a friend to applebees tonight after he had helped me move all day. I go there about 3 times a month. sometimes i eat and sometimes have drinks with friends. the food and service have always been great. Not tonite! amanda was a awsome! Problems started with my food. A 7 Oz. sirloin add mushrooms with 2 sides and a roll.My steak was the toughest one i ate in waco tx! I am not lying one bit. no mushrooms. another server tall blonde short hair did not get her name. I voiced my problem with my food. She says I cant help you, but i can take your friends plate. Thats 1 st complaint. I asked to speak with a manager. My 1st mistake was i did not get his name. We were so tired. He had me another stk made. no mushrooms again. Same problem with stk. I asked for to go boxes for my salad, potatoes, stk, & cold almost frozen roll. He gave me 1 small box. I voiced my dining problems again with him. No one working there seem 2 care except 4 amanda. time was 8:40 mon 2/1/10. 38.95 was our total bill. I had been charged 1:oo for my salad. I said my meal came with 2 sides. yes, i was told but salad is a sub. no one told me that when i ordered. Manager did not offer to take some off the bill or let me place another order.I felt offended, and embarssed in front of my friend. i bragged to him about applebees. We could of ate anywhere and waco has some wonderful resturants. I wont ever go there again or take my 5 brothers, family from out of town. 3 differnt states.none of my friends. we left 4 stopped in to a small bar who i am friends with owner. I said something about what we had gone thru. Kathy said for her bday jan 11 8 people or so they served all their food.then told her they were out of what she ordered and were not allowed to serve limes with the mariaritas! But the chicken had limes on it. thats is not in texas and does not make sense.They did take a small amount off her meal. I am very dissapointed and my opion of applebees is negative, negative. I want to let coorpoate office know my experience and voice. I am a waiteress for I-hop and no customer would have gone thru that and ours managers would never have let customers leave or let this huge mistake get to coorp. ears. Customers are always right. They insure we make money and if they leave happy welcomed and enjoyed a great meal. They will be back. Word of mouth good or bad gets told. I-Hop has a wonderful t-bone. Applebees come try it! You will be welcome satisfied and maybe see how customers want and deserve to be treated.

"Gouines"- At least someone gave you a free link. These people are under the impression I work for the CCA. Go to these peoples profiles. They do nothing but insult, attack, and try to question peoples character for complaining. This is a social network site. From what I have seen, (Which is very little) there are a few who are helpful. AnnR.key looks like she gave some serious advice. "We", "Members"...there are better things to aspire to than a member of a complaint site. Your complaint here was almost worthless. But you got a good free link. When you complain, try not to use foul language, it will not make you sound very credible. Look at the times these people comment on complaints. Day and night. It's what they do. Next time you want to order out, or dine out, avoid Applebees. You can get better service, better food for the same, if not cheaper price. And tell a few friends. I am sure you have them, as you do not need to sit on a computer all day.

"Gouines". Do what you think is right. Posting on here is worthless. This is a social networking site. If you look at these peoples profiles, they do nothing but answer complaints with insults and attacks on your character for complaining. As you notice, they have not given you one free site to complain to. And it is worthless to argue with them. The BBB is a voluntary agency, that companies seek to be accredited with. There is no obligation to be "BBB accredited". They will investigate on your behalf, but don't expect them to resolve your complaint. Historically, companies ignore the complaint altogether. Complain, take the loss, next time you want to order out or dine out, go somewhere with a bit of class. You can get a better meal and service for the same price if not cheaper. Also notice, these people assume I work for the CCA. And, don't use foul language when complaining. It will make you look ignorant. "We". A group it takes nothing but a computer to be belong to. There are some people here who will give advice rather than attempt to prove how smart they are by posting their opinion of your complaint. (From what little I have seen anyway). But they are insulted and attacked too. Most are no better than the people you complain of. "Members" of a complaint site. There are better things to aspire to be. (Now watch. 50 of them will respond to this).

You are people who have nothing better to do than cruise this site, offering no help whatsoever. The CCA is not a joke. If the company refuses to answer, it only reinforces their reluctance to accept any responsibility at all. So what, you have to pay. They do contact the company you have a claim against, in writing, on your behalf. They censure the company in their files. Meaning, the recommend you do not use the company. If you have done any research other than quote a complaint agency, verbatim, you will find that the BBB does not do much better. But it is on file, so others can read about the company, providing useful information to consumers. Reasonable people would offer money back, instead of forcing something on you, you do not want. So what, didn't check the order before leaving. Brought it back. Seems reasonable to me. There are what, 250 complaints about applebees on this site alone. You people who respond to these complaints just to see your own comments have nothing constructive to offer to anyone. "Gouines", make sure they do something. You payed money for what you ordered.

Go to the Consumer Complaint Agency, and the BBB. Applebees does not care about their service, most of their staff, and their customers. These are all cases of take the money, then deal with any repercussions later. If anyone gives you a problem, tell them to leave, or even call the police. They are a deceptive company, with deceptive business practices. There are literally thousands of complaints against them. Sure, you should check your order. But they did not give you what you ordered. It's the principle of the practice that needs to be stopped.

Get in touch with the Consumer Complaint Agency. Applebees will not respond to the complaint, because they don't care. The CCA will then censure the restaurant. You are right. Applebees are horrible.

Applebee's sexual harassment

I worked as a hostess for Applebee’s and was sexually harassed by another worker who was a woman and I refused her as I prefer men and I am also a women. When I refused her she went to the manager and almost got me fired right than and there. I filed a claim with the EEOC and we settled in arbitration but after settling in arbitration I was fired out of retaliation with Applebee’s claiming I falsified information.

I filed another claim of retaliation and did get a right to sue letter as Applebee’s was found guilty of retaliation. But did not sue as I could not afford an attorney. But since then the People at Applebee’s have sabotaged other job that I have had. I had a job as a beverage server at Sandia Resort and Casino and current and former employee’s of Applebee’s led by my former boss from Applebee’s Lynn Pedro filed complaints against me at Sandia Resort and Casino and got me fired from there as well.

I do not have the money to hire an attorney to fight the situation.

Applebee's terrible

Hackettstown, NJ location. 20 minutes for waitress to come to table, then Dynamite Shrimp was plain fried shrimp and I was told "they are taking that off the menu so we are just using the shrimp we have without the sauce: and she walked away...just really bad food and even worse service!

Call the Consumer Complaint Agency, file a complaint. Then call the BBB. It is becoming common practice at Applebees to treat customers like garbage. The staff at most of these places are not happy either. They make no money. Applebees advertises that employees can make $600+ a week. A friend of mine works there, and made $22 in a 10 hour shift. Applebees does not care about their employees or their customers. This place will not be around very much longer. Tons of complaints and lawsuits. There are some really nice employees trying to make ends meet. Sad.

Applebee's rude/poor management

I was treated extremely rudely and deplorable. I complained calmly that my steak was burnt. The manager game over and offered to replace. I said that cool. He said he would although there was nothing wrong with the steak in his opinion. I stated, "Wow, are you freaking serious that you don't smell that?" He got extremely angry and made me leave the store without replacing the steak. He also called the police and banned me from the store. I waited for the police and I was told that he had done this before. This is not the way customers should be treated and I was appalled. This guy was the district manager and the rudest person that I have ever met. I am filing a complaint with the better business bureau as well.

Please file your complaint with the Consumer Complaint Agency. There are also Applebees corporate numbers available where you don't have to talk to another rude person, who will not take your complaint seriously. There are some who take their jobs seriously. Then again, a complaint to corporate might end up in the circular file anyway. They like to play the old send you in circles game.They will send you an e-mail, stating they have received your complaint, and they will call you. But, they never do. On the other hand, if you write them to compliment an employee or service, they get back to you in 1 day. File with the BBB also. Applebees are not even recognized by them. Applebees have gone down hill for the last several years. Plenty of complaints and lawsuits. To have the Police called on you because of a complaint seems to be the norm for them. They have $$$, and $$$ is power. Maybe you should have let them arrest you, then gone to court, and have a Judge with some common sense, (Unlike some at Applebees) turn the tables on them. Applebee's unbelievable!

I recently went to Applebees on 1/20/10 for a nice dinner with my step father. As we sat down the waitress came over to greet us and take our order for drinks. So far so good. It took a while for her to get our drinks which were water and cranberry juice. I love Applebees and i get the same thing each time i come so i expected this day to be the same as the rest. I would eat some great food, get great customer service, then eventually go home. When the waitress finally brought our drinks she only had water which my step dad ordered. She informed me that she would have to get my cranberry juice from the bar which was fine. I always order no ice in all of my drinks because they get watered down too quickly so i expected the cranberry juice to be a little warm like normal. As she set the drink down on the table I noticed it was half full. I politely said "Excuse me, why didnt they fill up my glass?" Then she says " Thats how much you get because they measured it. The ice is suppose to fill up the glass." Ok wait a minute! As she is talking im getting more and more upset. In disbelief I said " I have never heard that in my life. I have worked at numerous restaurants and come here all the time and get the same thing with a full glass of juice. You only measure alcholic drinks or food portions, not juice." She then replies " Well thats how it is. If they fill it up you will be charged for two cups of cranberry juice. If you want to speak to the Manager maybe he will fill up the glass. I dont know." By this time I am ready to walk out because this sounds totally ridiculous. I am a picky person but also a fair one so this was unacceptable. Im sure who ever is reading this will agree. As the manager comes out he tries to pull the same story about measuring non-alcoholic drinks. So I guess if i would have ordered sprite, coke, or orange juice I would be paying full price for half a glass or double for a full glass. I informed the manager that if they are low on cranberry juice then they need to budget better as a restaurant to accommodate the needs of your customers. My step dad eventually told me to give up and the manager walked away just saying sorry. The waitress took the cranberry juice back and brought me water. So now my whole mood is horrible because of the situation. We ended up staying anyway because it was kind of late and most of the other restaurants were closing. We all know what usually happens after the customer has a complaint about something, the waitress becomes disgruntled and stand-offish for the rest of the night. Which thats how my waitress was. When we left I tipped the waitress 40% because I know it was not her fault and the economy is taking a toll on all of us. Will I go back to that Applebees again? Probably not. Would I recommend or choose that server again. No i wouldn't. As a consumer I feel this story needs to be heard because I know this should not have happened to me. My intention was not to get a discount or get something for free, I just wanted good old fashion quality service. So if you attend the Applebees on Pleasant Hill in Duluth, GA prepare to pay double for cranberry juice or drink something else.

Applebee's bad food

My husband received his food; omg, his corn was hard to distinguish from the black pepper grounds. His steak was the size of a regular tootsie roll and as black. We asked our waiter "Spike", about this corn, he told us my husband got the last of the corn, they had no more. The people across from out table had plates of regular, yellow corn. When we asked for the manager, she said she would not eat the food we were served, but she appeared amused. When I called the main manager, "Stan", the next day, he was incredibly amused.

Applebee's the place is dirty!!!

I always go to the Applebee in Bayside with my family. After diner there yesterday i would never go back again. The place is dirty. We found ants on our utensil so we requested a new sets of utensil. After receiving the new sets.On one of our fork, there were a piece of spinach left over from the previous customer. It was just gross! When i get my drinks, it taste like oil and look oily. I had to requested a new one. My pregnant sister found hair in her drink. At that point, i just want to walk out but we already order our food. We did not want to created a drama. After requesting new drinks and utensil, the guy get the hint that we are not pleasure with the restaurant. He get the manager to come to our table to talk to us. He was a really nice guy, we did not want to give him a hard time. We just told him that the place is DIRTY. After i get home, i get a bad stomach ache, that when i get annoyed, i did not to paid and get sick. I am writing this because i want the corporation to do a annual check up on their restaurant. I do not want to be put in that kind of situation again. It is for your own benefit because in the long run, you will lost a lot of customers.

Applebee's hair in food and disrespectful service from waitress and manager

I ate at the Apple Bees located in Vineland, New Jersey 08360 and had the worst experience ever! Not only were the waitresses entirely disrespectful and unfriendly, I also found a long red strand of hair in my pasta which obviously wasn't mine because I am Asian and have black hair. But to elaborate, the waitress kept arguing with me about how it hair is just hair and I should deal with it without any apology from the business, customer service perspective whatsoever. Likewise, the next week, my friend celebrated her birthday at another Apple Bees located in Deptford, New Jersey and the waitress insulted my entire table when we asked about whether or not the ad displaying free mozzarella sticks if our waitress doesn't recommend or ask if we would like to order the frozen lemonade aids or the lemonodo. The waitress started to call all of us kids and said it wasn't her fault that she didn't ask if we wanted to order the lemonade drinks because we didn't look of age when all six of us are well over the age of 21. Then she tried to lie to us again in an extremely rude manner about how the free mozzarella sticks signs shouldn't have been on the tables even though ever table in the entire restaurant had the signs on every table. Then to top it off, she tried saying that we, ourselves had to go to the bar to order the drinks when the sign directly said, "If YOUR WAITRESS doesn't offer or recommend ordering the lemonade beverages, we, the customer, are entitled to a free order of mozzarella sticks." All in all, I've had the worst experience ever at the two Apple Bees in my area and I am upset that I was treated so disrespectfully both times when all I wanted was to entire my dinners and have a good evening out. I was completely displeased and wished Apple Bees would treat their customers with a lot m0re kindness and respect.

We have gone there and it is usually hot and the music is loud. We have said something to the manager. The food at times is so so. Do not call me on the phone.

I was recently at this applebees.And i am a big fan of this restaurant ever since i got to this country.i have always been.And when i took my friend out for a drink THE BARTENDER (workin on 10/09/2010@nightshift) rejected my ID which was given to me by the FEDERAL government of this country for migrants coming to work temporarily, and this was the same ID i used to purchase drinks at the SAME PLACe two weeks ago.But thats fine for rejecting it, i would understand that she was doing her job.But i was frustrated and i mention that this whole situation is stupid(where i had no intentions of making any insults to her or the restaurant).but As i said that and turned my back she actually shouted that she aint stupid and shes not serving us and ask us to get out.And after that i said to her i didnt not mean it on her, even after saying that she told us to get out and shes not serving us.She wasn't even the manager to say such a thing to a customer.Is this service and the attitude a restaurant such as this would want its employees have.IS THIS ANYWAYS OF TALKING TO HER CUSTOMER BEHIND HIS BACK AND SO LOUD IN FRONT OF THE OTHER CUSTOMER .So disgusted on her actions and very disappointed about applebees.I really hope the manager sees this and make the correcting action!

I can not understand the mentality of people like you. You believe everything is about you. If you can't take the heat, stay out of the restaurant! Unless you're a kid and it's your mom's kitchen... if you don't like the food, don't eat there! Your comments " it is usually hot and the music is loud" and "The food at times is so so" suggest you go there often enough. You obviously like something there or you wouldn't continue to eat there. I bet you tried to use this BS post to get something for free. I hope they've since banned you from that store instead of kissing your A$$ like you probably wanted!

The six of you didn't look of age to drink alcohol.

You had a tantrum because you didn't get a free order of mozzarella sticks.

You obviously acted like kids and the waitress treated you like kids.

Applebee's the workers were very rude and not very nice and our food was wrong!

It was my friends 21st birthday so we wanted to go there to celebrate. Myself had just two drinks and she had three, we were talking tot he the guy behind the bar just joking around and we asked him how many drinks before you all start to cut off he said three drinks, like I said I only had two! Well we than ordered bbq chicken wings and we got served the wrong wings the wings we got were hot! And I do not do hot so I ordered a water, and I was talking with my friend and I spilled my drink, I cleaned it but, and I never got another water after that so my boyfriend had a long island ice tea I had a sip of it and anohter lady christina was her name she came over there yelling at us saying we got cut off but noone had told us we were cut off and she embrassed in front of the whole applebees and she was the one who gave us the wrong food and she knew it because she had told us after a few minutes and she did not replace what we had order. Also she took his drink that he ordered and he just got it. She was just very very rude and I work with customers every day and she was not a very good person at it. She kicked us out and said we had to leave, and if I were too do that with my customers I would have been fired right there on the spot. Also we do come there often but we will not be coming there anymore, because when we do we get crappy service our food is messed up and or cold. After last night I was just really upset about how things happened and our food again was messed up. So I will share this with my friends and I can promise that we will never be returning to the washington mo applebees and I can promise that they will never again go there as well. Maybe you should fire some people because this is always happening and if its a problem every single time they just are not good enough for your business!

Sounds like after two drinks, you got out of hand, spilled your water, started drinking another persons long island ice tea and got flagged.

Safer for them to stop you right there, then to get sued by you later blaming them for letting you drink to much then get behind the wheel of a car and kill someone.

Applebee's hot wings are considered mild by people who have eaten them.

Applebee's overcharging

I had dinner at Applebees in Merritt Island last night. Checked my bank statement and there were 2 withdraws from my debit account for the meal purchased. I called and spoke with the manager (Justin). He informed me that it may have been my bank mistake because their records only show one meal charged. Also...the tip of $8.00 was not on the charged purchase. Justin explained that the tip would be charged at a later date. I was instructed to wait a week and recheck my bank statement. Unacceptable resolution and explanation for service charged and I am concerned that they will continue to charge my account at later dates. My resolution will be canceling my Debit card until this discrepancy is resolved.

And in the case that it was an error on the employees part, assuming she charged you twice, she would have voided one of the transactions. It will still show up on your online banking site as a pending charge, but that should be gone within 3-5 business days. Also, if the manager did a transaction recall, it would have printed out an itemized list of charges and would have listed your meal purchase one there twice. Unacceptable resolution? I'm not really sure what you expected him to do about it. Try paying with cash next time.

Applebee's overcharged

Was given a bill for a amount and paid with credit card and gave a cash tip and when got home and checked credit card statement was charged a extra 5.07 and was told the computer just does that and would be refunded the next day...Really who does that? I think not a very dishonest practice to say the least...:( Why during these hard times would you even do that to people who actually spend hard earned money at your restaurant? I work for a Fortune 500 company and I have never ever seen such a practice. A great way to lose customers when you cheat them !

I went to Applebee's 4 days ago and the same thing happened, obviously Applebee's pattern of cheating customers is still going on. I ordered food on 9-16-18, and my bill was $32.86 and I added a tip of $3.00 which should have been $35.86. when I checked my credit card the next day, they took $39.43, a difference of $3.57. I called the restaurant the next day, and was told the manager was not in but I would get a call back 2 days later. 2 days later, no call back. I just checked my credit card again, and now all of a sudden the charges are what they should be. Called the restaurant again and was told all of their records matched what I should have been charged. They could not explain how the original deduction was different, and of course "the manager is not in but will call you back tomorrow". There is obviously something wrong with this company, especially if the same deception "computer errors" is still going on 9 years later. This is a scam by the company banking on maybe 7 or 8 out of 10 people won't notice? A nice chunk of change in their pockets for sure. I'm curious as to if only the people that question the extra charge get the charges corrected ? If it was a "real" computer glitch this would have been fixed long ago. I just started checking into all of the posts, and found one from 9 years ago - how long have they been pulling this scam?

Applebee's $75.00 gift card blank

I tried to use my $75.00 gift card the week of feb 20, 2011 and they said it had never been activated. I talked to the manager Greg and he was very rude to me. What ever happened to the customer is always right. Greg said I had no proof that the card was bought at his store. I went to his restaurant to relax and enjoy my time and he treats me like a crook. After trying to discuss the problem with Greg I finely in a low voice told him this is bull ###. Greg then told me no one is going to curse him and he told me to leave. When I got back to my office I called Greg and apologized for my saying bull ### but i am very diappointed in his behavior toward me a customer. I called Greg today 3-2-2011 and he is willing to send me a $40.00 gift card for the fraudulant card they were paid $75.00 for. disgusted in mt vernon, Il

I went to Applebees in my town and the experience was lame. Bad service, bad food and bad manager when we tried to complain.

If you are going to claim that you are a neighborhood restaurant you have to staff it with people who want to be nice.

I want to speak to someone at Applebees corporate about this. Please contact me.

They have roaches and ants and the manager wanted to give me a gift card like that was suppose to fix the problem .September 6, 2010 me going to Applebees on RIchmond rd in Lexington, Kentucky was worst experience ever.I suggest for people not to eat there .They can never suspect me back to support applebees for only care of my money and nothing return on having a great experience .I will not forget the manager dave ...

You are right. Don't let Applebees get away with this treatment. Write to the Consumer Complaint Agency. Applebees does not care about your complaint, nor does the manager. The CCA does.
