My family and I went to our local Applebee's recently for dinner, we hadn't been in years as the last time the service was so bad. We ended up talking ourselves into it only to be treated worse than the last time.
we were sat in the bar section with a young child which was curious but going along with it we agreed. After sitting at the table for way to long the bartender came over asking if we wanted anything to drink. we ordered our drinks only to watch her go back to the bar and mix other drinks all the while not bringing us ours. When she finally brought them, we expected to order our food but instead she went back to the bar mixing drinks again. sometime later she came over and took our order. I guess she thought writing it down was too much trouble, but we placed it and waited. while we were waiting two other tables were sat and served before we received any food. when we did get our food, it was only my young daughters and no one else's. We watched other tables get served that came in after us along the way, 20 minutes after my daughter was served out came two of the three meals, when we tried to get her attention from mixing drinks we were told to wait. It didn't feel right eating without the last meal at the table. Once it was brought out it was cold along with the original two. The server never once asked if we needed anything else or can i give you a refill. she was unapologetic for the extended wait times or the sloppiness in which everything occurred. To top everything off she put our bill and the table next to us bill on ours. Again, trying to flag her down was impossible, we finally pulled over the floor manager and asked to get it fixed who immediately went to the bartender, another ten minutes goes by, and the manager just disappears. No follow up by her or the bartender. We finally had to swap computers with the neighboring table so each of us could pay our bills.
If I could give a negative star rating I would. No one should ever be treated with so much disrespect. If you're going to employ subpar employees, please hire a competent manager as to work with the customers.
Desired outcome: I would like an apology from someone and to be completely reimbursed.
