I was being informed by my sender that the parcel should have reached me within 9 - 12 September. I waited until 12 September but no news then I checked the status of my parcel in the track shipment page and found out the status as "Attempted Delivery". I was wondering how could it be attempted when no one has contacted me on any attempt. I called Aramex support (03-7787 8787)to find out, they just keep mentioned that the delivery is actually by GDEX, they will ask the delivery guy to call me, but no one call me back. I called support again and again, they just keep repeating to ask delivery guy to call me back. One of the support even mentioned that the delivery guy will deliver to me on 17 Sep before 530pm, asked me to wait until 530pm. I waited until 530pm, no one call me regarding my delivery. Today again I called support, again mention will inform the delivery guy to call me but I waited until 530pm again no one call me. Throughout the conversation, I understand that the supports are very lack of experience. They never verify my address and phone number to check whether if the sender provided the wrong information. They just keep saying that it's under GDEX (just like it's non of their business) and tell me they will ask the delivery guy to call me. Me myself need to request to verify the address and phone number. Until now still no delivery guy call me, no support do any follow up with me. This is the worst among all other delivery service. Very irresponsible.
Actually Aramex Service is very very bad. I send my passport from Ipoh to the USA Embassy in KL and it takes about 1 week to reach. Worst they never update the status online and calling them up in their office yield no results.
I am wondering why the USA Consulate in Malaysia continue to entrust them to handle all their passport delivery etc ?. Worst they charge RM 50 for the delivery and takes 1 week.
