This company is a SCAM. There are NO full-time, year-round 'jobs' with this company - everything is seasonal and part-time. They LIE and STEAL. They will terminate you for no reason. When you ask questions, they ignore you. They expect, rather DEMAND, their ACPs to be professional, but they do not give back the same professionalism. Arise has big name companies that are scamming everyday people wanting to try to make ends meet.

nekki, arise is a scam because they lie to you and steal your money. they want you to pay for training - you do not get paid while training. when was the last time you paid a company to work for them?
@Monica C - READ THE POSTS! YOU WILL BE ROBBED FROM ARISE!
@[protected] - If Arise is such a great company, then explain to me why I was terminated when I met ALL of the SOW requirements (hours, talk time, passed all qa's, never received any customer complaints, etc.). NOTE: You are the idiot! You are tied to your home office and when working from home for Arise you cannot be outside playing with your children or pets, or taking care of yardwork or household chores. Me on the other hand, I am self-employed with a real career. I am not tied to my home office waiting for the phone to ring - what that means is I can be outside gardening or playing with my kids and pets. I can also be grocery shopping while I am working. My clients expect me to have a life and are ok when they hear kids in the background or dogs barking. I set my own hours, I do not pay bi-weekly fees just to earn a paycheck and I am making more money than you will ever earn working for Arise.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I am currently researching, arise. I know how to do my homework. I am need of a work at home job, due to my disability. Yes, i stress I have a disability and limited means to go out to work. Arise, is offering a $19 special, i am considering signing up for the. I am an extremely fast typer, and have done customer service related work, at home before. I worked for West, signed up for liveops but they do NOT want any bankruptcies on their credit. I have 1 due to hardtimes, i need to find work asap. Can anyone that works for ARISE, please explain or email me as to how it works?! Before i invest $19 and find out there is more stuff that we have to pay? I already have done SOME of my homework, starting to research complaints against the companies. I am reading the fine lined paperwork first, before I based my decision on purchasing the $19 cert course. I can be reached at Lilmzsassie_1@yahoo.com, I want both negative and positive reviews. Of course, i will be basing my decision on facts, and reviews based on people that have actually READ the paperwork for arise rules and what not. Thanks appreciate the help!
This is crazy! Arise is one of the best at home opportunities available. If you got fired, more than likely it was based on poor performance. I do admit that sometimes it is hard to communicate because everything is via email and the Arise portal. BUT THIS IS A VIRTUAL OPPORTUNITY! In addition to that, i have not done so well here and there and yet they still tried to accommodate me. Arise does not want to hold the hands of their business partners. They expect and want you or your company to be self sufficient and reliable. If you can not implement strategy, apply critical thinking, and need step by step instructions on every little detail, then this is not the opportunity for you. But if you are teachable, truly have an entrepreneurial spirit, or just need a job; I highly recommend Arise.

I agree as a Canadian CSR my thought all along is "this is one big pyriamid scheme" maybe not so openly blatant because in Canada we do not have to pay for the certiication course only for the background check and the only opportunity we have is to service for Rogers who clearly has everyone servicing for them including Alpine Access who does not operate the same as Arise you are an employee of theirs and you do get paid hourly so I would not compare the Companies the only thing they have in common is Rogers. After I read the reviews from the USA I now realize exactly how they scam by the termination of "Independents" as the workers are because they would fall under the Employment Standards if they were Employees and Arise could find themselves with a lot of cases beibg brought against by the Labour Board as it is known in Canada. If it walks like a Duck and quacks like a Duck it's a Duck.

Definitely DO NOT work for Arise and especially NOT disney! I worked for a total of 3 months, never met any of the "criteria" that set for you to reach (and out of 100's of people...only about 6 can ever achieve it) I kept records of everyone's "score cards" that Arise sent out weekly and NO ONE can reach the company goals because they are simply impossible. Yet your pay is based on how you perform. They do NOT tell you that you must work EVERY HOLIDAY of the entire year! That part they conveniently leave out when they train you. You are locked into an agreement for ONLY 3 months at a time EVER. That means EVERY 3 months you must sign a new agreement and thats where they slip in all the extra stufff like working lots of hours on Holidays. No traveling to see your families out of town...you'll be stuck at home on Thanksgiving day, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas day...you get the idea. The people who are over you (and yes you have a "boss" who will listen to EVERY phone call and tear you to shreds when you aren't perfect) are IMPOSSIBLE to work for. And to the people claiming that Arise is so "perfect" and that those of us who see it otherwise are wrong...you are IN DENIAL for sure! I worked in the real business world for almost 25 years and then retired and wanted to work at home. I actually QUIT (did NOT get fired) because this company is run by a bunch of scattered brained idiots! Very unprofessional company to say the least. All I can speak for is the "disney dining" side of it, but its AWFUL and you won't be happy and you'll get any hours because everyone is stalking the schedule because Arise over-hires and then no one can get any hours to work each week. Its a terrible mistake that I made to be naive and think it would be a good opportunity. Its was a huge disappointment!
Listen everyone, There are a few comments in here that I agree with. NO Arise is NOT a scam, You are NOT an Employee of Arise once all is signed up and ready for a Client. You are a Contracted Source to Arise, they provide the Clients to take Customer service calls for. Now, Arise does NOT set the enrollment fees for the Client Certifications, the Clients Do. AT&T I wouldn't work for since they have a horrible CS standing, Do your research on the companies themselves before signing up to a Certification class.
Be a little responsible for doing your own research in the beginning and it will save you some grief. I have worked in the Arise system for 2 years now. I worked with Barnes and Noble first, I was in their top 10%, however I had an issue one week. Because I am an IBO responsible for myself (Arise is not responsible for you) I was locked out for not meeting the 15 hour work requirement. I simply sent them an explanation and a form showing why I was out, LOW and BEHOLD...I got my accesses back because I took the responsibility to work it out with the Client.
I personally love working in the Arise Portal, have met some great people along the way, and am on my way to becoming one of the Client's Performance Facilitators.
Arise's schtick is all about being a training mill. They make their most money charging absurd fees for training and "certification", and then continue to siphon off your paycheck in the form of bi-monthly service fees. While you last. One post here defended Arise by stating that it is the client that charges the fees and Arise only complies. That's baloney. Arise is not their only source of service providers. All of these (sizable) corporations have other contracts with other staffing agencies, work from home and call centers, who do not charge you - the worker - tuition to work for them. In fact, they pay you for training, like most legitimate entities, whether you're an employee or an independent contractor. Arise simply has, at least so far, gotten away with the underhanded practice of inserting themselves (along with the VSC/IBO crapola) between the unemployed and available work. Lining their pockets in the process, from folks who can afford it the least. Brilliant, really. And pay attention: How many posts do you see where people working for Arise have mentioned that Arise had cut them off with no warning? Arise is ultimately motivated to eventually get rid of the people who have made it through their process. Retain enough to appease the client, recycle the rest. So they can do what? Train more!
i am not sure what is going on. I have been working for Ariise servicing AAA - NCNU for over year now. About 2-3 months ago, there was a problem with the phone system, and members were not able to hear the person taking the calls. that was for almost a week. About a month after that, noticed that the call volume dropped like crazy. Management sends an email out stating that there was not a problem. Now about 3 weeks ago they tell us that we are no longer taking AAA NCNU which was most of the calls. And yes when you send an email, you get NO response from management. I think they need to get a visit from a local TV station in miami. This is just ridiculous
I to have been scammed by arise, i was told that to get started in a in home work position for data entry would cost 450.00 I pd this via western union, then I was told I need to pay 1350, 00 for time line to keep up with my time, I went and paid this, I was connected to a supervisor for training and she hit me up for 4000.00 for equipment I needed to work for company, none of this I was told about up front or I would have not have consider this position I was told I would make 30.00 well I cant work and have not received anything for the 2000.00 I have already paid and I cant afford to pay 4000.00 for equipment and they are very persistant get the funds get the funds get the funds u want be sorry you will get reimbursed for everything and make 25.00 hr for training and then 30.00 hr, I am persuing my case with a lawyer and bbb, and any other thing I get them for signed Teresa d gray
Arise needs to be investigated. They are very corrupt and their business model is about getting people to pay for training, put them to work, then get rid of them to make room for next batch of poor people and at the same time hope that the people they removed will either select a new client training or retrain (and of course-pay for it).
I am talking from experience. They are a fraud and the companies that you can select as a client are just as guilty.
If you've been cheated by this company email me at (cheatedbyarise@gmail.com). We are going to sue them for all the money they cheated us out of. For all the lies perpetrated against us, we don't have to let companies use us like this. Let's stand up for whats right against money hungry companies that are destroying the integrity of this country.
Arise preys on the desperately unemployed. The pay is horrible. The management ignores you. They never fail to tell you how replaceable you are because another class is finishing soon. After giving this place two years of my time and money paying for silly classes that are geared for student failure, I have given up. I never missed a metric and my SOW was terminated without notice nor did a PF reach out to coach me. In fact, I only talked to one PF out of the four clients I was contracted with. You are truly treated as a number with Arise and they simply have no interest in retaining the people they have because there are apparently 1, 000s applying to pay for the expensive classes. This is the worst work at home "business" opportunity out there. Still not clear on what the business part is all about. I made less than minimum wage after all the bogus fees (Arise charges you $19.95 per check twice a month for their "wonderful" support) and expenses for compliant equipment and services I needed to work. With every dispute, Arise was never wrong in their mind and never corrected THEIR mistakes on your file while the CSP was always, always, ALWAYS wrong. Their system issues are constant which you don't get paid while they work them out and it adversely affects your metrics through no fault of your own. Don't waste your time on this opportunity. It is not worth the time, aggravation, and money.
I have been on the other side of the spectrum where I was the instructor training individuals for contracting with clients. I can tell you that there is a breakdown between the client and the curriculum developers within Arise. I have seen poorly developed curriculum and the blame always falls on the instructor as we are the ones who get surveyed by the students. And those surveys ultimately dictated how busy we were/how many classes we were contracted to teach.
What is really troubling was that there have been numerous times whereby the need for people who have a pulse surpassed the need for quality workers. There have also been numerous cases where there were too many students enrolled and we were told to fail those who would have otherwise passed. Again, the instructor's fault and the surveys were in all reality our bread and butter.
I left that establishment because of what they chose to portray rather that what they really were and I could not live up to what I truly believed in. I refused to be their 'fall guy.'
Do your research on this company. In Feb. 2015 a former Judge/Arbitrator ruled that Arise is guilty of miss-classification. The outsourced agent was awarded over $11, 000 for her 3-4 month tenure with Arise. There are many pending lawsuits against Arise for miss-classification of agents and 1099 contractors. If you need help find an attorney contact me.
Really? Arise is not a scam. This is a business opportunity and it is clearly stated when she start the Admission Process. You have to pay for training which is called an investment into your company (Arise Business Model), so that you will be certified to service their clients, thus making your business successful. The initial investment you make towards training, you are able to get back within your first check. That is if you are productive and that all falls on the individual. It is up to you how successful your business will be and how much money you want to make. The bottom line if you work and are paid it is not a scam! Arise is nothing like these companies that promise if you purchase this you will make $5000 a month etc. You are actually working for major companies and get paid for your services. If you do not hold up your side of the bargain which is meeting metrics (which is required in any customer service call center job) and not in compliance with your SOW then you will be released or not offered another SOW. It is just that simple, so people stop saying that Arise is a Scam because it is not. You can say that you don't agree with some of the procedures and policies but Arise is far from a scam. CSP's are working everyday receiving real checks and making a living out of this, so it is all what you make it!
FIRING PEOPLE OUT OF NO WHERE AND THEN TELLING THEM THEY CAN WORK FOR YOU AGAIN IF THEY PAY YOU MORE MONEY IS A SCAM! FAILING PEOPLE FROM CLASSES THAT THEY REALLY DID PASS BUT ARISE JUST HAS TOO MANY PEOPLE IN THAT CLASS, AFTER PEOPLE PAID ARISE MONEY TO TAKE THE CLASS IS A SCAM! AND THAT IS JUST FOR STARTERS!
I agree. The training is just this side of useless, redundant, and doesn't get to the stuff you actually need till the end and I really don't believe that they NEVER have codes until the very end but I do agree with this.
I have worked for Arise for the past three years under a "trusted" Independant Business Owner (IBO). The IBO was suppose to receive 10% of what I earned. Because I was under an IBO I had no access to my invoices. I worked for Disney, Comcast and Walgreens. Sometimes my money would come up short, I would inform my IBO and she said she would put a ticket in and usually nothing came of it. So I decided to become my own IBO. As such I got full access to my invoices. There were no invoices for Comcast or Walgreens just Disney. I compared the invoices for Disney against my bank statements and so much more than 10% was taken from me. Between the 3 companies I can prove that they stole almost $4000.00 dollars over the past 3 years. When I bought this to Arise's attention they refused to do anything, not even remove this IBO from their "trusted list".
I agree that Arise is a scam. Seeing that you have to pay for a training course out of pocket made me take pause. I still thought I would give it a try by taking the assessments. I enrolled in the Disney Resort class. I did not yet pay for any training course. I took the tests, and I passed the voice assessment but the "self test" (the one where you had to answer a bunch of multiple choice questions) and I failed, but it did not give a score or anything. Even if I did pass and I paid for the training course and started working for Arise, I'm not sure sure how long I would have lasted. I read on other sites that people who got "hired" by Arise were gone rather quick. It seems Arise can get rid of people at the drop of a hat! I think it's best I not risk any money. I'm going with another source of income, such as renting my spare room on AirBnB.
How is ARISE getting away with a lot of this stuff? People need to contact the State's attorney's offices in the states where these things are taking place. It sounds like the main goal of ARISE is to get money out of people who are desperate for a job. Very, very sad. If what these ex-employees and instructors are saying is even half true, I don't know how the owners of ARISE can sleep at night...knowing how many people's lives have been so hurt by ARISE.
I have had an issue with Arise while working for World Wide Business Solutions as the IBO. My contract was terminated after I was given a zero out call which I have had excellent scores up until the week of March at which time I received the zero out and was sent an email that offered a meeting with a PF which I declined because I realize I didn't offer the benefit amount which is an automatic zero on call which dropped by scores drastically. Not a problem...figured I would make it up on other calls since I had been at 107% prior to the zero out. Anyway, someone called the house and asked why I didn't attend meeting with PF...I advised no one advised that it was a mandatory meeting. I work outside of Arise and didn't have time and realized my mistake...correct it and move on. Anyway, they terminate my contract because I didn't go to a meeting that was not identified as being mandatory. I work another job I don't have time to give free hours away I already gave months away for free while training. I know am certified if you want to take up my time "pay me" is my feeling. Anyway this is now April 28, 2017 and I am owed pay for the March 15-31 pay quarter and also for 4/1/2071 through 4/15/2017 and they haven't even responded to my requests after they terminated my contract. I don't know how many other people have experienced this but feel that this may be something that they do to get money. I am a professional person worked as a social worker most of my life so I understand being professional but how many other people are also being screwed by this company. They appear to take money from people..send them through training...maybe they pass you ... some don't pass...even after paying up to $200 for some of their certifications and taking a month or more every day training taking up to 8 hours. I am unsure where they think people are sapposed to be paying their bills and then they never tell you what you will make...they then get you out of training and don't want to pay anything for the job performance that they expcect to be be white glove...who do you know that offers white glove service and is only paid $10 an hour. Really? I have already invested months of work and turned down other job opportunities to be terminated when the snow melts working their roadside assistance program. Beware of their practices!
I worked for Arise under an IBO (Independent Business Owner) who did not pay me from 4/1/2017 - 5/11/2017. I put in so many hours because i needed the money for my family as i am a single mother. As i was on a fixed income, i had lost my apartment! I contacted Arise to intervene and all that they could say was "we cannot help you, talk to your IBO". My IBO was Kimberly Mcghee - Mcgheeandassociates.net .
Awareness needs to be made to let people know about IBOs! Arise on the other hand, needs to handle IBOs the way companies work with temp agencies. No temp agency would be in existence if they did not pay contractors! Arise let anyone (with no experience handing payroll or large sums of money) to hire people; and in turn, many of these IBOs get greedy and use up payroll money instead of disbursing it to its rightful owners! SICKENING!
I applied for the company and was denied for lack of validation of my SSN. I am a RN and have been over twenty years in the US, I've had government jobs, federal and state, but they are claiming my name and number doesn't match. I file taxes every year as well. So, not really sure what's going on with the company but something not right you now. I have attempted to reach them several times without resolve.

This is a scam first I tried TurboTax from Intuit. Customers always had issues with the system. The person from main chat was rude and incompetent making derogatory statements of the customers and employees in front of other employees. I finished with the SOW. Then I tried Home Depot the trainer decided that I cannot have Verizon and be hardwired which is not truth. I even put Verizon on the line to explain her that the line comes from a pole directly into the house and to the router where I connected my computer. tThe thing is that she made me waste my time until the end of certification w/o telling me that my equipment was not adequate. However I have a brand new Dell laptop, new Microsoft headphones, hardwired, 560 download speed and 430 upload. speed. This is not right a real ripoff, Thanks be to God that I have a regular job as office manager/bookkeeper. This was just extra income but I will find something else in the accounting field. After all I went to graduate school and I have professional experience.
This was 2/19/2021 my account was terminated because of a chat that was misconstrued as inappropriate language which I have never used in a chat .
My account still has a block on it I am unable to apply for any opportunities.
Which I was never asked or talked to about the chat .
I would please like my account unblacklisted
I've been with Arise for almost 3 years and am for the most part very happy. One thing that is true is the extent of their caginess when asked a question or when they cancelled my master contract (long story involving a sick relative) is epic. Given the amount of people they Say work their, it's hard to believe what they seem to not be able to handle, the way they communicate, or how they seem to not understand what is going on. I think what needs to be understood about Arise is that they are primarily a company that gathers and sells data, they are not - maybe even in part- in the US and they really don't care. I used to say you need to treat Arise like your slightly confused uncle but given what happened after my brother died I'd say you have to really keep an eye on them and even though they may pay on time like a machine, you always have to be on the defensive and protect your assets. Though I agree that as a business owner you can't really expect to be paid while learning what a customer wants (aka training), the training they insist you go through which is typically about 4 weeks is so extensive that I would argue that they have a responsibility to offer some sort of compensation and am looking forward to the day that they are made to.
Do not ever deal with this horrible company, I tried to work several clients they have dropped me from classes several times that I paid for . They dropped me from the most recent because their systems didn’t work which was not my fault. They will not help whatsoever.
Wrongfully terminated
