Staff located in the photo shop on 16/6/16 at 7.50pm
I wanted to get a picture put on canvas for fathers day following a bereavement. I asked the disinterested woman how long it takes to get the canvas done and would it be ready for saturday. She looked at me as if I had two heads rudely chewing gum and said it takes 2 days I again asked if it would be ready for saturday if I ordered it tonight. She replied the ones above you could have tomorrow but I did not want to pay hat much she kept saying they are better quality. I relied to her I take it that it would not be ready for saturday. She looked at me and said I am going in 5 minutes. I said forget it then I will go somewhere else that does not have such rude staff. As the shop does not shut until 8pm I should have been allowed to make my order. It was obvious this woman was a clock watcher and had no regard for customer care. I will change my shopping habits and go elsewhere but feel this should be addressed with this woman as she is paid until 8pm so should be wiling to serve until 8pm
online delivery
Shocking, completely disgusting, would never use again.
Ordered 12 bottles of wine last Friday and this was first online order with them.
The Order was acknowledged.
A day or two later I received an email to say the order was being picked.
I had selected delivery for Monday night between 8pm and 10pm.
On Monday evening I waited up until 10pm even though I was really tired.
By 10.15pm no sign of any delivery, so I went online to discover they had cancelled my order and without any notification to me.
I then rang customer services at 10.20pm to be held in a queue with a silly voicemessage to say that they had an extremely high volume of calls and to please hold, to which I was then cut off by them after 5+ minutes of holding.
I use Tescos for my online grocery shopping and have never ever had a problem with Tescos, always polite, always helpful, and have never let me down.
What a complete and utter DISGRACE Asda is.
service
I was waiting for my delivery, when the driver came I shouted to him I was here and he just drove off. Since then I have called asda four times and no one can tell me when my delivery will be made. I spoke to a customer advisor who informed me he would get back to me with a time ( his name is Dayaan, very unhelpful and rude) Then I called again to be put on hold whilst there check what was happening, as the advisor was calling the store, then informed I would get a call at 1pm( no call back, was made) called Asda again and was informed they cannot call the store as it was something they do not do. So I was lied to, then called again to find out what was happening and to speak a manager and was informed by Dayaan I cannot speak the Manager as he was busy. Called again and spoke to Naeine and was informed that they do not communicate with anyone offer then email and she cannot tell me a time, I would be getting my Shopping. I explained I have appointment at 3pm at the Hospital and was then told I will get a call after 3pm. I still do not have a time for my delivery. This is the WORST SERVICE I have ever had from any Organization. The staff are very incompetent and don't have any idea how to deal with complaints. God help anyone dealing with Asda, this is a very Poor service.
asda milton of craigie male toilets
When entering the gents toilet the smell of urine was very strong more like a pub toilet than a supermarket, especially around the cubical areas, obviously not very pleasant this isn't the first time they have been in this condition and as a result I avoid using them unless I really need to use them, especially when my three year old son who is potty training needs to go .the lights never seem to work properly either.
home delivery
My delivery was meant to delivered 6/8 pm. It arrived at 8.55 pm. There was no call, as per the agreed procedure that 2 customer service advisers told me. When he arrived he did not apologise for his lateness. He was discourteous, drove across my grass, damaged my door frame and they refused to go when I asked him to leave. He dumped my shopping half way down the path . Then he was talking loudly in another language I assume profanities but obviously I don't know for sure. Apparently the manager was going to call me back but shock horror they haven't. This is not the first BAD experience I have had with them ( previously they took out my fence but I thought it was an isolated incident but alas no) but it will be the LAST. Ocado, Sainsbury and Tesco all have a superior service to this and do what they say they are going to.
Store did not acknowledge my issue
I recently purchased a pair of shoes with wedged heels from Asda Sheffield, I did not have receipt but the design and weight of the wedge would not allow me to walk in them. I took them back to store and was asked
Have I tried inserting grips?
Do I have one foot bigger than the other?
Have I bought the right size?
All questions quite rude I thought.
I asked them to take the shoes back and send them back, I was willing to go without a refund just let them know the problem and contact me with their view. No I have to do that and was given details for Asda House!

large cooking pot
last night, i was using my large cooking pot to make dinner which i bought from asda (Halbeath retail park, Dunfermline)several weeks ago. i have used this a few times now with no problem. however, last night was the first time i had used the lid on it. i was standing by the hob which was on a low-medium heat and the lid exploded. some glass fell into the dinner, some all over the hob and worktops and some on the floor. i had tiny shards in my clothes, i felt some hit my face and hands. i am enraged as my 16 month old and my 3 year old were standing 6 feet away. fortunately my husband scooped them up before they got glass in their feet. we were left cleaning up for hours and again this morning as i could still see tiny fractures of glass sparkling on the floor and worktops. i cannot bear to think what could have happened if my children had been any closer. you have no idea how angry i am about this. the goods were clearly faulty unknown to us when we bought it. my husband paid £25 for this pot. we are thinking about taking this to the newspapers to prevent this happening again in case the whole line is faulty. we want compensated for this. we are lucky we weren't blinded or worse. i have taken a couple of pics of what was left of the lid and also the pot once it had been emptied and cleaned to help identify the product we bought because as expected, we no longer have the packaging.
24/7 ???? I think not
I drove 12 miles because I needed to goto asda and found that asda Livingston was 24/7... So as I drove in the car park I see a sign 24 hours open 7 days I think "great!"
I go to walk in the door and it doesn't open; I stand there puzzled for a few moments like why does it say 24/7 and it's not open? I go to the small sign at the start of the car park and underneath the sign that says open 24 hours 7 days a week it also says closed Friday - Saturday 2am - 5am.
Now correct me if I am wrong but this is clearly not 24/7 ? And is extremely misleading as it's advertised as open all day all night !
How would you feel if I offered 10 doughnuts and only gave u 7, disappointed? Yes, Likewise! I think asda must change there sign because it's extremely misleading and I've wasted petrol driving here and now need to drive 10 miles back with no doughnuts.
Empty tank, empty belly & full of disappointment 🙄

Steven
online shopping, customer service attitude, delivery process
I placed my order on Sunday online to be delivered on Monday, I then received a call on Monday stating that Asda has failed to take note of the new address but has now corrected it and my shopping will be delivered on Tuesday, Fine, mistakes happen and they had given me a £10 e-voucher out of good will. I then wait in for my shopping on Tuesday only to receive another call with the same story. Not happy that I have to call CS again to re arrange my delivery as the person that calls to inform me is the delivery driver. Again, Wednesday morning I have yet another call saying the address had been changed but they failed to change the postcode! So now 4 days after I had originally placed my order I still have no shopping delivery! I then go onto my online banking to see they have taken the funds TWICE! Clearly very dissatisfied I now have 2 charges coming out of my bank account which has in fact left my bank account over drawn which I will get charges for. I have spoken to the customer service and complaints team and the only thing anyone is willing to offer me is their apology.
delivery, fraud, feeling violated
My wife arranged to stay in for the delivery slot requested for the weekly shopping from ASDA. When there is no delivery 30 minutes after the end of the allotted time period, my wife phones up to enquire about the delivery to be told that it was delivered and signed for...YES, it was delivered but to a different address. The people at this address signed and accepted the delivery and have therefore committed Fraud, this was confirmed by the Police. Unfortunately, the fraud is against ASDA and not ourselves so we can't get the Police involved. We did however get an Incident number, (Incident No: 473-04/12/2015-South Yorkshire Police), which was shared with ASDA but they don't appear to be doing anything about it other than saying that we will receive the delivery tomorrow, (another day wasted). Do ASDA always prosecute? It doesn't appear so, but then again, I'm a Tax payer, so they would probably prosecute me if I stumbled so low as to commit fraud against them. Should I be confident that the order will be delivered tomorrow?. Well I won't be holding my breath Am I disgusted that someone else has received goods to the value of £213.51 without having to pay for them? DEFINATELY...(I MIGHT receive my goods tomorrow but I HAVE paid for them but have to suffer a great inconvenience)...DISGUSTED We spend between £150 and £220approx per week. If ASDA can afford to allow people to acquire food for nothing, (illegally), then why can't they offer any form of loyalty and allow regular customers free orders? I could request a refund which will take 3-5 working days for the money to be put back in to my account, and then I would STILL have to do the shopping 04/12/2015 Order No: [protected] £213.51
online food shop
On the 8th September I was expecting my weekly food to be delivered and on the same day I received a call from Asda stating this had been cancelled due to an internal billing issue on there side. I was told that I wouldn't be charged. Unfortunately I have been charged and have spent £30.45 in phone charges trying to get this resolved. I have printed off all my bank statements and match these back with the Asda online account and it clearly shows that I have been charged each week including the week I didn't receive my order. I have been put on hold many times and no one ever seems to know what is going on. I am not waiting to hear back after having to send all the details in the post as a month on it hasn't been resolved. .
leaving it's employees without wages they have earned.
Any one considering taking on a job at ASDA needs to read this. I have worked for this company for 18 months and my wages have been messed with and i have been left without money i've earned on many pay dates. They have never paid my holiday pay on time or at all and don't care that you cannot survive without this money over the next four weeks till next pay cycle. The Managers are young, career hungry and incompetent in their roles and don;t help you at all and the wages depot won't speak to you at all. The worse is i was left for 11 weeks without any wages at all and it only got resolved before the Courts would have fined them £20, 000 if it had gone to 13 weeks. My contract was changed without me knowing and my hours were reduced which ive just found out is illegal. Be warned any person wanting to work for ASDA.
charged for an order that wasn't delivered
I had a delivery ([protected]) booked for 1.9.15 in the evening and received a call from the store to say the delivery had to be cancelled due to the van being involved in an accident. I called them back to arrange redelivery for the following day. The shopping arrived within the time slot, everything was fine. Apparently the original order was simply duplicated instead of being moved to the following day.
On 4.9.15 I noticed on my bank statement that I had been charged twice for the order. So, I was out of pocket by over £100. Following several calls to the call centre and to my bank I was told that the order would be refunded in full within the next 3-5 days.
Nothing.
I called back and went through the story again and was again promised a full refund and told that the store would process it on 11.9.15
Still nothing.
I called again this evening and spoke to somebody in the home shopping department who assures me (again) that the refund will now be processed tomorrow!
Through all of this, I have not once been offered any compensation for the fact that my bank balance is over £100 short because of their mistake and is likely to stay that way for another 3 working days at least. Frankly I'm disgusted. I refuse to place another order with Asda until I am fully refunded AND compensated. And even then probably not until this nasty taste is out of my mouth!
incorrect stock received twice
I went onto click and collect for the first time ever for anyone and my experience from Asda was the worst shopping experience I have every had and to make it worse I have made 3 complaints and still it seems customers like me are not worth the time of day.
I did my first order on 29.08.15 order no. [protected] and 2nd order on 30.08.15 order no [protected], as I had received incorrect stock both times I phoned customer service on [protected] and made it clear I was not happy and wish to make a complaint when I got back home on both pick up days and the 3rd complaint was made to the store manager at the Leyland store and he said he will pass the complaint on, now I still have the wrong product and no communication as to the reason in order for me to try for the 3rd time and hope my order is correct.
What does a customer have to do to be valued?

Neil Duke
Lost property policy
On 22nd June 2015, I handed in two £5.00 notes after finding them in the car park. I was given a receipt and advised to come back at the end of the same week to see if the money had been claimed. I went back as advised to be told the cash office closed at 12noon and I would have to call back. I made a special journey a few days later but was informed that the cash had to remain for two weeks and if not claimed the finder could have the money. I returned after two weeks and was told that the Police had advised that the money/lost property had to be kept for four weeks and at this point it had not been claimed.
I returned four weeks later on 3rd September and was told the policy was that if no one had claimed it after four weeks, the money was donated to charity. Apparently it had been marked for the Tickled Pink charity. I was advised to call back at the store after 1pm and ask for a manager. When I went back, this manager was in a meeting. I was kept waiting twenty minutes and then informed by another assistant that the money had been claimed. As I was annoyed at being given the run-around after seven weeks and also receiving conflicting information that the money had been given to charity and also claimed, I wrote to the store manager on 3rd September complaining about the Lost Property policy at the store and the fact that none of the assistants seemed to know the procedure and asking for a response and confirmation of where the money had actually gone. It is now 5th September, and I have not had a reply.
delivery - nearly half shopping was missing
I ordered my shopping to be delivered this morning (05.09.15) the slot was 8-10am! Firstly, the delivery guy was 20 minutes late outside of the TWO hours slot! He was apologetic and said that he was so rushed and busy today! First thing I noticed was that the French sticks I ordered were broken in many places so the guy offered to reimburse the price which was fine. He left!
I started unpacking and realised that there were some things missing - it transpired A LOT was missing! I did a reconciliation and all of my chilled items had been missed along with some cleaning products and a frozen item! So my husband called the customer service centre! The lady Robyn was very unhelpful - her attitude was one of 'there's nothing I can do, you won't receive the rest of your order today - not acceptable! She insisted that Asda's policy is to call the customer that has missing items after 24 hours following delivery! How on earth is this good customer service when you've paid for a delivery slot, paid for the items and they don't arrive and you then have to wait another 24 hours before someone even calls you?! When will I actually receive my missed items? I have guests over later and need some of the items to make food with, so will now have to go out and buy more! The customer experience here is horrendous and compensation for this is a must! I am furious that I have to wait until tomorrow to even speak with someone and still have no idea when I will receive my goods - Robyn wouldn't give me any information that I asked for when I took the phone from my husband, she said she agreed the policy was ridiculous but that there was nothing she could do and I would still have to wait! WHAT!
MY order number was [protected], my customer ID is [protected]. I am expecting my goods delivered a full refund of the shop and some vouchers of some sort - this cannot happen again and I'm still waiting for a resolution of this problem which is unacceptable!
Sophie - a very unhappy loyal Asda customer!
foreign exchange booth instore
I picked up my euros I ordered online and was met by the most rudest person I have come across in retail. I went to the booth in the malinslee, Telford store yesterday and the booth was empty, so I went to the customer service desk and the very helpful young man confirmed he would try and locate the person. He then spotted the gentleman who was supposed to be in the booth and he was buying a drink. When he was asked whether he was returning back to the booth he confirmed he was on a break and then he said to me I am entitled to a break! I never huffed so I don't understand why he would say this? Anyway I said ok and I had some shopping to do so did this first. On my way out I called at the booth and the gentleman was very rude never said please or thank you, he never asked where I was going or attempted to make any small chat whilst he sorted out the paperwork. I find this type of service appalling and very unfriendly.
We all have bad days but all I can think is that he must of had a very poor day.
For reference I visited the store at approx 4.15 and can confirm I won't be using the store again if this is the type of person you employ- miserable.
Kind regards
Sarah whitehouse
attitude/service
Got to the check out to a very unfriendly lady Carole, till 11, this morning 20-08-2015 wouldn't pass bags. No please or thank you. Didn't ask if we needed help with packing. Which we did, as my mum has just come out of hospital after a heart attack, plus has a really bad back.
