I worked with this company and I want people to know.. Do not give your info and walk away not knowing if u got the phone or not. They will activate anyway and give the phone to another person and u will not be able to get one later due to already having one in your name. Just trying to help. This company is not a scam... But they do get paid by the number activated. So they will use your info if u do get one and don't take the phone. So make sure you check and make sure you didn't get a phone. This happens in Tennessee the number one location of all the sites. Be vigilant

I understand the comment...If AW takes your info and they don't send your phone or they say they sent the phone and you didn't get it, AW gives that phone (with your info) to another person wanting a phone.

I have been trying to terminate the Assurance Wireless for months because someone has taken over the phone. Assurance refused to replace the defective phone although they said they would do so yet month after month they still load it with free minutes that some one else is enjoying. I am also prevented from applying for a different service because the Assurance account is still active in my name. I even sent in a letter of complaint and they returned the letter to me. I believe that my former landlady is involved. They hacked my computer too.

Hello, Assurance Wireless,

I would like to ask a question on this topic. Just extremely curious, actually.

Why is it that you responded to an individual that is trying to LEAVE your company and services

to try and retain them as an obvious unsatisfied customer? All the while, large numbers of unsatisfied

customers voicing their opinion got NO responses from your company. Are being told not to reply to

those questions and statements? Just like you avoid actually helping people truthfully? That is very curious,

indeed. Not a very good look from where I am sitting. There is just enough people here to get a very nice class action suit going..what with all the angry customers. Oh and again..trying to retain services from

a customer that WANTS to leave your company. That looks very..desperate. For anyone who is reading this before it gets deleted, I would suggest following up on a class action for obvious negligence AND false advertisement. I would also make our so money loving government aware of how you are being treated. Just my little opinion, suggestion and observation.

I am not getting the usage I should from additional data. I don't watch movies or play games. YouTube I get 1-2 Hours per gig = $5!
I'm not happy and think my data is draining. Even when I shut data off for the night.
I feel cheated.

The facts you stated ring true for me and I suspect that customer service agents are from Central and South America where the illegal aliens are coming from. Services and goods are being transfered to illegally acquired phones. This unproven theory of mine is spot on. I am in the process of alerting the proper authorities in the U. S. Once again as in the past...outsourcing is bad.

Its true. For a full month I have been trying to replace a broken phone. The first call was successful. Was supposed to have a replacement phone within 7 days. Two weeks later, I called to find out where the phone was. Suddenly, they wanted $65 (for "insurance reasons") to replace the phone. Borrowed money just to satisfy their demand, everything was supposedly worked out and a phone on the way. Another 11 days later, no phone. Go on their website, and you can track the activity of your phone. Haven't been able to turn on the power on to the phone for over 32 days, but (20) minutes and data (2G) are still being used slowly. So, the theory isn't wrong and he's not crazy.

This company is scamming Uncle Sam and John Q. Taxpayer.

If it isn't true, then they desperately need to get people who understand english and can speak it fluently. Having to ask them what they said (when they spoke in combination of broken english and bengali dialects.) Check the facts..large amounts of out sourcings are from Philippines, Bangladesh, and India. All we want is to be able to communicate clearly to the person we need to do business with, and they understand us, and likewise with them. I know it is NOT their (the call center employees) fault, But it IS the fault of companies who do this and lose profits, then ask (and more than likely get a bailout), Use said bailout stupidly, raise prices on customers to try and make back lost profits. You see how the vicious cycle of redundancy goes? Just because CEO's are rich, doesn't make them intelligent, or even smart. More than likely, it makes them completely dumb to the world outside of their bubble of wealth. I mean CEO's don't even attempt to communicate with customers anymore. Instead they write generalized statements (which is probably written by someone with twice the literary and speaking skills of said CEO) that make themselves sound intelligent and business smart. All we want is clear, concise, and above all, TRUTHFUL communication with whom we might have the displeasure of having to deal with to get something done to help our lives just little bit better in this convoluted nation of garbage, capitalistic narcissists. And before Anyone thinks of reporting this comment for harassment or trolling, I only stated plain facts that everyone already or should already know and have dealt with and witness for themselves.

I agree, the program was fine back in the days before smartphones. It was so simple they couldn't mess it up. Candy bar phone with calls and texts. Now, with smartphones, they have to level up every 3 years at least or bad things happen to people. And they just drop the ball completely. It's very immoral what they're doing to people.

DON'T USE QLINK! I attempted to bring my own phone, Called current carrier, had phone unlocked. Qlink never connected, spent hours with the help line, never would connect, either the sim was damaged or I don't know what. Assurance isn't the best, but at least the phone works (most of the time).

My brother passed on August the 14th this year. My sister turned his phone over in her name 3 days later. I called Assurance and told them that he pass d so his contract should of been canceled and not allowed for just anyone to turn it over in their name. I was told she could not get a free phone in her name anymore so i guess she thought she would take his after his death. I am still waiting on assurance to call me back I think this is fraud due to the fact he is decreased and she got to keep his phone because i am sure she screwed the other free phone companies is because she can't get one in her name. She works at nothing has always lived off the government or her past dead husbands.

This has happened to me and my friend as well here in Mableton Georgia October 2022 I'm a homeless veteran and this issue has not been resolved even though I've spent hours on the phone with assurance wireless and national verifier. You would think that insurance would go through what they need too to assure their customers that this will not happen again I'm concerned about identity theft and will now be forced to get a credit report to ensure I'm not a victim of even more identity theft.

Received a phone by Assurance wireless by a worker outside a county facility. Have them my information and she took pictures with her phone. Don’t think this should be a legal way of setting up a phone line with a wireless phone company. First off the device is extremely bad aetc etc. I hadn’t noticed but someone who called me said who’s (gave a persons name ) and I said I didn’t know. Turns out the phone I was handed was under another persons name. Called them once I found out and they couldn’t do anything for me! Why I have no idea, but apparently under my name there was no account that existed. So where is the intimation given to the so called assurance worker ? Since then I have been receiving fraudulent emails and my benefits for a month were stolen from the county? I’m sure the worker had something to do with this because she was taking pictures of every benefit card. So how can I report this ?

I am also being scammed, was sent a phone with a sticker that said IT COULD CAUSE CANCER and birth defects! Was told phone (before I broke it) only cost $90, then got a $286 bill in the mail, got a phone overnight because i was so pissed at Tmobile and flipped out there, now ONE PHOTO caused a huge amount of gigabytes - and phone is already half used up or more. I havent even downloaded any apps and phone is basically useless, and even had to pay a $49 deductible for the "new" phone, which came with a letter saying it had used parts. IM FURIOUS. My last phone lasted 3 years and still has more room on it. NEVER BUY FROM TMOBILE OR USE THEIR ASSURANCE COMPANY PLEASE. Also had apps put on my phone like amazon and tiktok which I NEVER DOWNLOADED. It synched all my contacts as well, while i was asleep even though i told them not to and now waiting for ANOTHER call back. I am so [censored]ing angry, getting a flip burner phone, this [censored] aint worth it

I recently have transfer my number to qlink wireless. Only downside is finding a phone. This company sent me a replacement phone I needed. And I returned the phone. Via postal service through regular mail. Last month. And they send me a email giving me 15 days to return the broken phone as I already done. Get you in mind I was told by a service agent before this mess even started. I could simply return my broken phone through the regular mail. And now customer service said I should of took a picture. They tell all their customers that. I wasn't told that. And then telling me I should of drop it off at a FedEx location. And this is very upsetting to me. With the late holiday over and bad weather maybe it was late. Also I asked postal service said they noticed it was FedEx and brought it to a FedEx location. Last month. But no they still don't believe me. Put the blame on the customer. Terrible. 4 year's of a trusted customer. Down the drain. Now I'm off to find a decent unlocked cheap phone for qlink wireless. Just a warning they treat older customers like garbage.

Ive gotten a free phone which works good...recently i got my ebt skimmed ...i live in LA ,CA...my card was used in NJ ..thats cross country...i suspect ..the field employees signing people up for free phones ...are amassing the ebt card numbers of new sign ups ...i think whats happening is a loop hole or bad op-sec practices...for the few people ive asked i came to one connecting factor...we have alll had replacement ebt cards...at the ebt office the defalut pin they give u out the door is your birthdate...so whoever can view the new phone sign ups ebt card numbers if they went down the row and started typin in names corelating with birthdates..send that info cross country ...you got millions of stolen ebt benefits being zapped away from people we need it...probably being used by people who possibly also need it but who knows...anyways something to think about

I got a phone through my case manager from Aetna. As a second phone. It worked well enough. But later on the battery life was bad. And kept discharging. Glad I kept my account with my other cell phone service.
