Atlantic Hyundai The term of my lease ended this month in August, the buyout price was $9,536

The term of my lease ended this month in August, the buyout price was $9,536. The dealer billed me for close to $13,000. I called Hyundai today to find out what they were paid they confirmed my account was paid in full the amount paid was $9,536. In addition This is billed separately I purchased Gap insurance and a warranty, I am sorry I did. I was never asked if this was something I wanted it was assumed this would be part of the transaction. I now owe *** close to $17,000 for that much money I could have purchased a new car with a warranty. I waited almost an entire day by the time the paperwork was prepared I barely read it. I had to get back to work I was stressed. I want the difference in what they collected to pay off the car I want to cancel the warranty with a full refund. I read many reviews on this dealership since do not trust they will do the right thing. I also think the should be criminal charges filed agains the dealership.

I purchased a car from them on 1/23/2022. I pointed out at the time that the dollar amount listed to pay off my trade in was different on 2 different pages. The purchase agreement said a higher amount then the page saying how much they would send to my credit union. They in fact sent the smaller check. That means that my loan was for about $313 to much. 45 days and I have called many, many times asking them to send a check for the difference. I want my money!

Atlantic Hyundai I leased new 2021 Hyundai Palisade Limited with option to buy

I leased new 2021 Hyundai Palisade Limited with option to buy. Price advertised and window sticker was $48,855.00 when I walked in. After agreeing to lease to buy option i did $10,000 cash down payment and $4400 in positive equity trade in. I signed trade in papers (paper copies) and was presented with electronic signature pad for lease contract. After 2 signatures ( contract wasn't presented to me "due to covid 19 restriction") all paperwork was printed out and folded in to envelope. As soon as I got home I noticed that there is price descrepency. AGREED UPON PRICE $53,441.05. Next day I went back but was told all documents are closed in safe and they will have access next day. Next day I was told that I was charged higher price because car is in high demand. I DIDNT AGREED FOR A HIGHER PRICE. As i said to sales men and financial officer. I dont need car now, i can wait 2 weeks. This is a predatory lending and dishonest business. If the matter wont be resolved, i'm suing.

I purchased a 2018 G80 Certified Pre-Owned from this dealership. I live out of state and traveled to the dealership to purchase this vehicle because it was a great deal. I was shown the inspection report while I was at the dealership to pick up the vehicle but was not given a copy. Since I live far away and I am unable to go back to the dealership, I have made numerous attempts by phone, text, and email for the dealership to give me a copy of the paperwork and inspection report. They have not provided either to me. The status of my car is unclear and as of today, the dealership's website shows that it is a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. I have attached a screenshot of the dealership's website and an image of the dealership website also listing it as Certified Pre-Owned when I purchased the vehicle. The link to the vehicle listing is missing from this message.

The loan officer changed the agreed on purchase price and decreased the value of my trade-in and didn't include all of the paperwork (the contract) when closing the sale and still hasn't after 2 months the of requesting this.

I have contacted the dealership about canceling my warranty since my car is totaled they owe me about [protected]$ in refund which they refuse to cancel my warranty. I have been contacting them for a good 5 months and I have proof of texts that I went there in January

I have received several End of lease offer from Atlantic Hyundai stating No lease terminationfee,no disposition fees, nocharge for excess wear & tear & no over mileage fees + a waive of remaining monthly payments. They purchased my leased car from VW but looking at the paper works I see that about 9k was added to my purchase price. The first car they have given me mulfunctions, so they ended replacing this w/ another vehicle, I pointed out that there were scratches on the hood. which susan stated that there is a 6 months warranty & will be taken careof, went back a couple of weeks they tried to buff it but they found out that it had a little dent, the manager lakwa became hostile yelling to my face about me wasting his time, I started video tape it, he then charge at me almost knocking me on the ground. In the end they cornered me and have me signed a work order that I cant use the video against them or they wont fix it. Came back March 2 to fix it but scratches still there.

I want to complain about a deceptive practice. They advertise that you can essentially buy a car from them online and the process is simple. The problem is that they don't even honor the price they give to you online. So I found a Santa Fe Plugin that was in stock and available. I made sure they had it in stock by calling. I then proceeded to go thru a online purchase process they offer. They even did a credit check for financing. Once the final step was finished it gives you a application number stating someone will call you. I've been calling them to find out what is going on since they never called. Spoke to the manager and general manager. They refused to sell at price that was available online. The practice is deceptive and dangerous. Why ask me for my SS # for financing if they don't plan on being honest. I have proof of everthing so they can't deny it.

I own a 2011 Hyundai Sonata with less than 65k miles on it, 3 weeks ago the car shut off while I was driving , I had AAA tow the car to my mechanic, who could not do anything with the car , I have proximity keys and the car did not recognize the keys even when put into the bypass switch, so then I had the car towed on Wednesday July 21 to Atlantic Hyundai, spoke with Service advisor John R , and he told me that I would know by end of day , Thursday the latest. I called on Thursday after not hearing anything, I was told John Russo is off on Thursdays , and everytime I call now I get a run around, They tell me they will notate it, they cannot find the person , Now there is someone else a guy named Mike is in charge, Last week I spoke with a woman who said she would find out, I cannot remember her name, but she said they were working on my car and needed authorization , and I said , "am I not the one that authorizes service, and she said, "this is what they told her" .

This is the gist of the story. I have never been treated like that before in my life I felt completely taken advantage of and lied to just to make a sale They were wrong I want back and wanted them to buy back my car and me

5/19 I turned in my leased 2018 Hyundai $496.00 x36 and leased a 2021 Genesis G20 dealer was to pay the last 4/ 5 payments. I agreed to 38k tax tags in and I was told I have "complimentary GAP insurance through Genesis. After feeling pressured to sign the new lease at a fast pace I questioned $45,464.21 the Total gross CAP cost $48,880.63 I'm told "that's an internal number - that I paid 38,000 plus tax". I asked for GAP insurance paperwork not provided. I called Genesis consumer affairs case #*** and on 5/1 was told to contact Genesis Finance. I sent all copies of attached lease agreement showing numbers not right to me. After surviving 2 cancers now being told its back I'm looking to have this horrible experience corrected without having arbitration as I was told to do by Atlantic Mgr. Peter Z after 3 heated conversations with rude, arrogant, and unhelpful sales staff calling my office and ending me asking if I need my attorney. They are not taking my calls. Deceitful.

Atlantic Hyundai We purchased a brand new car from Antlantic Hyundai

We purchased a brand new car from Antlantic Hyundai. We made a deposit over the phone on October 4, after we received an invoice in the amount of $46,031 with explicitly written that all fees are included. The next day, Oct 5, 2021 we discussed our buying options with financing at the dealership again, went over the price of $46,031 and asked to finance over 60 months and put $10k down. The finance worker, ***, told us that would be $625/mo, he finished the paperwork and asked us very sneakily to sign, rushed us through the process and we did not receive any copies nor had a second to read any of the papers we signed. He insisted that they would mail out copy. We left the dealership with the car and received our copy of contract of sales via email only 10 days later (10/15) with almost $10k extra in charges and payments of 72 months ($630/mo) instead of 60. He now cannot be reached, the dealership keeps taking our messages but we never get a call back from him.

Atlantic Hyundai I had purchased a new car from this dealership in July

I had purchased a new car from this dealership in July. Since I purchased the vehicle, I have had to bring it in for service 4 times. The ongoing issues with their service department include taking DAYS to even look at the vehicle, ignoring requests for information, and claiming there are no rental cars available. My car is covered under both a warranty AND the recall notice so there's no problem there, however, the lack of communication, overall unpreparedness, and lack of respect for their customers is unacceptable. After four days of them having my car, I finally was able to get some update and was told that they will be replacing my engine and it will take over a month at least to do so. When I inquired about a rental so I don't have to miss any more work than I already have, I was told there are no rentals and I would be put on a waiting list for 2 weeks. I was also told that I could seek "alternative transportation" but that they only reimburse $38 a day. I do not have the funds to rent a car nor should I have to if this issue should have been fixed months ago. I have tried to be patient with them, but I seem to be getting nowhere and I need to have a car.

Atlantic Hyundai I have been a longtime customer with this dealership, I have bought or leased 4 cars over the past 15yrs with them

I have been a longtime customer with this dealership, I have bought or leased 4 cars over the past 15yrs with them. On June *, I turned in my 2017 Tuscon and leased a 2020 Tuscon. After the usual several hours of negotiations we agreed upon a deal that met my monthly payment. I was happy with my new car. In July I received a bill for the 2017 vehicle. I immediately called the dealership, was told that the lease end department was informed of the situation and it would be taken care of. In August , I received the bill again stating it had not been paid. Since then I have been in contact with the salesperson several times and she assured me that I should not have received the bill and she would take care of it. I also called Hyundai Financing to get more information on the bill. It appears that the dealership did not pay the agreed upon mileage overage. To this day they have not done anything other than say that they will check with management. The saleperson, Aliea Haider, has promised to follow up but has not done so. As a result this was reported to the credit bureaus and my credit report has taken a substantial hit. I in turn was forced to pay the bill and now have to dispute the credit report.

I visited Atlantic on August ***. I had a Kia Sorento that I was looking to get out of and into something smaller. I still owed money on the Kia. My salesperson Sandra advised me that my Kia appraised at $7500 and she found out that I owed $3750 on the Kia so I had positive equity and that the rest would be used as a down payment on the new Hyundai. I met with a finance person who I advised that I wanted to purchase because I do a lot of driving. He advised my sister and I that there was a new Lease to Purchase program and it would be cheaper. I asked about mileage and he said hold on and walked outside, came back and said its a new program and its unlimited mileage. I was excited since I have breast cancer and go to hospital for chemo. I called on August *** since I realized that I didn't receive a signed contract. I was told that I would receive it. I then sent a letter to dealership at the end of August. I received an email on September *** from Abhi Malhotra saying to call but I was admitted into hospital for emergency surgery on September ***. I contacted on September *** when I was discharged but had to leave message and I also sent an email. I contacted Hyundai Motor Finance and they advised me that I didn't have unlimited mileage but 10,000 miles per year and also that they didn't have any record of the remainder of what was left after my Kia was paid off. Where did the money go. Why the run around?

Atlantic Hyundai I bought a Lexus car on December 21st

I bought a Lexus car on December 21st. I looked the car over and let the sales person (***)about the scratches I saw. She said make an appointment and we can have it fixed. I called the next day and she said that takes into effect in 30 days. I went in the next day and saw the sales person she said lets go to the used car manager(***). He told me I should have taken care of it that day and that he wouldnt spend his money to fix my car! The scratches are cosmetic and the scratches and cracks on the front ground effects is my problem; even though I was told that any nicks scratches or dents within 6 months was covered. He said all I mentioned was not coveredwell what about the crack in the windshieldnot his problem. I then got irate and asked to speak to someone who knows about customer service. *** said Im the only one you can talk to so we are done here. He didnt even address this with me, he spoke to the *** to tell me even though I was standing right there next to her. All I want is my car to be fixed! I did not get the car for free but, when I wanted to buy a car they tripped over themselves to have me spend money and then get out because they were done with me! Maybe they saw a *** and he thought I was an uneducated person who doesnt understand whats going on! Regardless I would like my issues addressed! I sent an email to the sales associate with no response even though she said she would call me at 12 todayI knew no one would contact me! Please assist me with this issue! Customers shouldnt be told false bait and switch intimation for the sake of a sale and then leave them out to take care of the issues in their own! Im sure Im not the only one! Thank you for your time and assistance with this issue!

Atlantic Hyundai I want to register a complaint against my dealership (Atlantic Hyundai)

I want to register a complaint against my dealership (Atlantic Hyundai). I purchased a "Hyundai Certified Preowned vehicle" and faced the following problems:1. I have not yet received any documentation regarding the certification. After multiple follow *** my sales person provided the inspection checklist but no warranty documents.2. I was sold a car with open safety recall on it. This should have been flagged as a part of the inspection checklist (attached).3. The car camera has been dislocated (Image attached) - mis-reported in the checklist.4. The car fog lamps are damaged (Image attached) - mis-reported in the checklist.5. The rear seat is damaged (Image attached) - not reported in the checklist.6. The dealership wrongly advertised this car as a Hyundai Certified Preowned (Images attached). Then at the last minute they tell me that the car is not certified its "PRE-CERTIFIED". Which was a lie since the inspection checklist & carfax show the date as 9/14. The dealership made me pay 500$ extra for certification. I have attached the *** they used to lure me to the dealership and the *** they gave after doing a bait and switch.The reason I paid extra for this vehicle was because I trusted the Hyundai Certification process, but this is preposterous and unlawful. By misusing the "Hyundai Certified Pre-Owned" program the dealership is tarnishing the Hyundai brand name and also causing inconvenience to buyers like me.Other Examples of such cheap tactics used by the dealership:1. *** 2. *** This dealership should be blacklisted, since the dealership is violating the "Hyundai Certified Preowned" program and providing false information on the inspection checklist.

Atlantic Hyundai I lease a 2019 Hyundai SUV

I lease a 2019 Hyundai SUV. In Jan 2022, I went to start the car and it wouldn't start. After trying to jump the battery, I called roadside assistance and had the vehicle towed to the dealership. I was told it would take a few weeks to evaluate the vehicle. I cried and explained that I have a 3 year old and a 3 week old baby and no other means of transportation. They then found a loaner vehicle to offer me, which was much smaller than my SUV and couldn't accommodate both children's car seats. A few weeks later, the dealership called stating that the entire engine needs to be replaced and that it should be covered under the warranty, as long as I could provide a copy of maintenance records showing regular oil changes. My warranty claim was denied by Hyundai due to not properly maintaining the vehicle and that I had "sludge" in the engine, inconsistent with regular oil changes. When I referenced my maintenance records, they called myself and my mechanic liars and said that it appears an oil change has never been performed on the vehicle. When I asked if I could appeal it, I was told no. I then called Hyundai corporate to look into appealing the decision and overturning the denial. I was told by corporate that the actual reason for denial was failure to respond to a recall notice back in 2018. I never received a recall notice, nor can I find any such recalls on my vehicle when I search online. I was told that since I did not respond to the recall, that my warranty is null. Again, never received a recall notice. I asked when the recall notice was posted and I was told August 8. My lease began on August 19. Therefore, the dealer was in possession of the vehicle when this recall was posted and failed to fix the problem prior to me leasing the car, sending me off the lot 9 months pregnant driving a vehicle with undisclosed issues. The dealer now wants me to pay $8000 to replace the engine.

Atlantic Hyundai On the date of February 22nd **** I inquired about a vehicle at Atlantic Hyundai

On the date of February 22nd *** I inquired about a vehicle at Atlantic Hyundai. I was told by sales rep *** that the vehicle was available and that I can make an an appointment to view it. Upon my arrival *** informed me that the vehicle was no longer available to which I responded with another vehicle similar and price that I would like to see. After inspecting the vehicle I decided that I would like to proceed with the paperwork. I also informed *** that I was short on time and that I can only stay about an hour or so, so which *** responded that I needed to place a deposit down or some sort of hold on the vehicle which amounted to $1,500. After waiting about an hour I was introduced to finance person ***. During my interaction with *** I requested to see the total amount in which this vehicle would cost, *** continuously avoided the question and told me that I would have to wait for the billing department to be done with all the paperwork in order to get the complete total of the vehicle taxes and fees included. After waiting about another half hour for the billing department to finalize paperwork I decided that I can no longer wait and I needed to leave. The following morning I received a text from *** containing a picture message of my *** of sale after inspecting it closely I realize that they priced me for the wrong vehicle another model which was a couple thousand dollars higher in price. After confronting *** about the issue he assured me that was the vehicle I chose, to which I replied with pictures and proof of the vehicle I saw online and in person. I then requested a refund of my $1,500 which *** told me I needed to speak to the finance department about. Upon this day I have yet to receive any refund from Atlantic Hyundai or receive anything regarding my refund from either *** or anyone at their location their location.
