5G Wireless with Netgear Nighthawk is useless
In the past my business had a wifi box wired to a telephone line. I loved it. It was reliable and fast. When I moved inside the same office park to a different building, that service was not available and I was forced into a 5G wireless contract with this useless little cancer causing 5G Netgear hotspot.
Positives... none
Negatives: When it is working my Zoom sessions with clients freeze and I am forced to use my Verizon cell phone to either connect to the computer for solid signal or just do the call on my phone. Sometimes it just doesn't work at all, and yet the ATT help people tell me there's data being transmitted by the unit. Their word against mine.
Even listening to video podcasts, it freezes (spins) and I have to stop it and hit play to keep it going. So I generally disconnect the wifi and just use my Verizon phone to listen. What am I paying for?
Recommendation: DO NOT buy the Netgear 5G Nighthawk hotspot. It is garbage. Or maybe the 5G network is garbage. Don't know. Either way, STAY AWAY. Use another service .
Disappointing Experience with AT&T Small Business: Phone Numbers Don't Work and Poor Technical Support
I gotta say, I'm not too happy with AT&T Small Business. I got an email confirming my service, but when I tried to call the phone numbers they gave me, they didn't work! And when I tried to get some help from technical support, I was stuck on hold for what felt like forever. I just want to cancel the service before it's even installed, but it seems like that's too much to ask. Come on, AT&T, get your act together!
AT&T Small Business Review: Poor Customer Service and Failed Installation
So, I decided to try out AT&T Small Business for my company. I went ahead and signed up for their services and paid for it right away. However, on the day of installation, no one showed up. I was extremely frustrated and called their customer service line more than 20 times, but no one could seem to locate my account. I mean, seriously, what kind of service is that? To make matters worse, they wouldn't even let me speak with a supervisor to try and resolve the issue.
After a few more attempts, I was finally able to get in touch with someone who was able to locate my account and schedule a new installation date. However, the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. It's not like I was asking for anything unreasonable, I just wanted the service I paid for and some basic customer service.
Overall, I'm not sure if I would recommend AT&T Small Business to others. While their services may be good, their customer service needs some serious improvement. It's frustrating to pay for something and not receive it, and even more frustrating to not be able to speak with someone who can help.
Disappointing Experience with AT&T Small Business: Poor Customer Service and Network Issues
I gotta say, I'm not too impressed with AT&T Small Business. Their customer service is just not up to par - I've had so many issues with them, and it seems like they just don't know what they're doing. And don't even get me started on their network - it's always giving me problems. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I'm just counting down the days until my contract is up so I can switch to a different carrier. All in all, their services are just terrible across the board.
Stay Away from AT&T Small Business: Unreliable Service and Terrible Policies
AT&T Small Business is not a good choice for anyone looking for reliable service. Their policies are terrible and they are known for lying to customers just to get them to sign up. Once you are signed up, it is nearly impossible to make any changes or cancel your service. If you have other options for providers, it is highly recommended that you choose them instead of AT&T. It is hard to believe that any other company could be worse than AT&T. So, it is better to stay away from them.
AT&T Small Business: Expensive, Inconvenient, and Poor Customer Service
AT&T Small Business is like, really expensive. Like, I don't know why they gotta charge so much for their services. And like, it's not even easy to use. Like, I tried to cancel my services online and it was like, impossible. I had to call them and wait on hold for like, ever. And like, their phone hours are not even convenient. Like, who has time to call during business hours? Not me, that's for sure. And don't even get me started on their customer service. Like, I couldn't even get a hold of anyone. It was like, impossible. I wouldn't use them again if I had a choice. Like, seriously.
AT&T Small Business: Beware of Hidden Fees and Doubled Bills
I had a bad experience with AT&T Small Business. They put me on a business plan and my bill doubled. I was really upset about this and fought with them for a year. They said the business plan was cheaper, but they actually stole over $500 from me. I was a new customer and didn't know any better. My whole family had left AT&T over similar issues. I wish I had listened to them. So, if you're thinking about using AT&T Small Business, be careful.
AT&T Small Business VOIP Installation Disaster: Internet and Phone Down for Days!
AT&T Small Business tried to change our phone system to VOIP for a long time. They did something wrong and our internet was off for one whole day and our phone was off for two business days! Our business needs the internet and phone to work. They should have never turned it off. When we told them, they didn't tell us the truth about when it would be fixed. The customer service person was really bad. They were mean and didn't want to help us.
AT&T Small Business Review: Inept, Unprofessional, and Frustrating Customer Service
AT&T Small Business is a company that has caused us a lot of trouble over the past year. We have been trying to resolve a billing issue that has caused them to overcharge us for an Internet line that wasn't even in use. To make matters worse, our autopay was being routed to the line that was in use, which made it even more difficult to resolve the issue.
The problem is that the different departments within AT&T cannot seem to connect with each other. For example, the billing department cannot see the service department, and the service department cannot speak with sales. This means that no one ever has any idea what's going on, and we are left to start from ground zero each time we speak with a new representative.
To date, we have had three different representatives who have changed departments, leaving us to start from scratch each time. We have spent over 60 hours trying to resolve this issue, and we have been told countless times that someone will contact us, but they never do.
The sales team at AT&T Small Business is very persistent and will pursue you to the ends of the earth to get you to sign up. However, once you're in, you'll never hear from the company again. This is very frustrating, especially when you're trying to resolve an issue.
In my professional career, I have never dealt with a more inept, unprofessional, and outright failure of a company. AT&T Small Business needs to do better if they want to keep their customers.
Disappointing Experience with AT&T Small Business: Lack of Communication and Poor Customer Service
We decided to give AT&T Small Business a try for our wireless network needs. As a small, rural business that operates seasonally, we were looking for a reliable and affordable option. We were pleased to receive our network devices and sim cards promptly after signing up. However, we were disappointed to find that we did not receive the phones that we had ordered.
It took us a frustrating three months to finally get the billing corrected for the phones we never received. To make matters worse, we never received an actual billing statement from AT&T. The only way we knew about our statements was from disconnect notices! As a seasonal business, we set up to 'suspend' our services and pay a $15 monthly fee for the network devices to keep the account open and the numbers reserved. However, we still did not receive any billing statements.
Trying to reach our account representative was nearly impossible after the initial contact. We found ourselves calling their generic customer service number, which took forever to get to the correct person - who STILL couldn't help us. It was a frustrating experience that lasted for months.
To our surprise, after 7 months, we received a notice that our closed account had been sent to collections. We were shocked and frustrated that this could happen. Who is in charge of this circus? (Answer: No One!)
Overall, our experience with AT&T Small Business was disappointing. While we appreciated the prompt delivery of our network devices and sim cards, the lack of communication and poor customer service left us feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. We hope that AT&T can improve their services for small businesses like ours in the future.
AT&T Small Business: Terrible Customer Service and Unauthorized Purchases
I recently had a terrible experience with AT7T Small Business. Someone was able to buy an expensive phone and put it on our account without authorization. I have tried every way possible to inform AT7T that this was not an authorized purchase, even sending them a letter by certified mail, but I have received no answer. To make matters worse, they also sent an Apple Watch which no one in my company ordered. I told them it has not been activated and we have no use for it, but all they do is send another bill.
I have spent over three hours this morning listening to one recording after another, trying to get in touch with someone who can help me. Finally, I got some woman on the phone, but she asked me to hold on and either hung up or we got cut off. I got another guy on the phone and after numerous questions, he gave me a number to call. Of course, a robot answered and asked for a four-digit code. I told it I didn't know it, and of course, the robot replied that it was not a good number.
I have never dealt with a company like AT&T that feels they are too damn big to take care of their problems. I have made arrangements to have Spectrum handle my cell service and landline, which will probably save us $300.00 or $400.00 a month, but I must have an AT&T PIN number to get it done. Good luck getting it over the phone. I am going to the local AT&T office this afternoon, but I will probably get the same runaround. So, I guess my next stop will be to a lawyer's office.
Overall, I am extremely disappointed with AT7T Small Business. Their customer service is terrible, and they seem to have no interest in resolving my issues. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy company to do business with.
AT&T Small Business Complaints 4
Business landline.
On November 22nd my business line with 3 lines in the hunt group where all canceled without my knowledge. September 26, 2023, I signed a Letter of Authorization giving ATT permission to transfer my 3 business lines to a cell phone. I wasn't notified of the cancellation date. I didn't receive any cell activated phones. My business is losing 2500 a day. I will be looking to file an Arbitration to recover lost revenue.
Claimed loss: $2500 per day not including new customers and losing old customers.
Desired outcome: For it to never have happen.
AT&T Small Business: Useless Service and Total Joke
AT&T Small Business is a total joke. They don't do anything and are completely useless when it comes to making things work. I've had nothing but problems with them and their service is just BS. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
AT&T Small Business: Easy to Sign Up, Impossible to Cancel - A Frustrating Experience
